“Nothing mom, I’m fine. I’m just so happy to be here, all of us together again,” Ava said.
“Me too mom, it’s so nice to be having a nice breakfast together as a family,” Jonah said.
“What are you kids up to today?” Dean asked.
“I think I’ll just stay home today dad, I’m not feeling very well,” Ava said.
“No Ava we have to go, they’re waiting for us,” Jonah said.
“Who’s waiting for us Jonah?” Ava asked.
“She’s not feeling well Jonah, leave her with us, and we’ll take care of her,” Luanne replied.
“No mom, she’s coming with me, she has to,” Jonah shouted.
“Son, this is her decision, and she is the only one who can make it,” Dean said.
Then, all of a sudden, a wave of emotion overcame Ava, and she somehow knew that this was more than a decision on whether or not to stay with her parents, or leave them behind and go with Jonah.
“Mom, please help me, I don’t know what to do,” Ava said as she walked towards her mother and touched her face.
“I miss you so much mom and I love you beyond what words could ever describe,” Ava continued saying as tears streamed down her face due to the emotion and stress of making one of the most important decisions of her life.
“I love you too Ava, I love you so much, but I can’t help you my baby, only you can make this decision, and I cannot interfere nor can I influence you my brave daughter,” Luanne replied to her beloved child.
Jonah then rose from his chair at the table and said, “I have to go Ava,” and started walking towards the door.
“Son, I love you,” Dean said, and Jonah then walked back towards his mother, father, and Ava and hugged them all and said, “I love you all so much, but I have to do this.”
Then, with that, he began running towards the door to exit the apartment, and as he opened it, to Ava’s surprise, behind the door was an eternal sky, and as Jonah jumped into the abyss he disappeared and the door remained open.
Then, as Ava began to cry her mother looked at her.
“I know what you are feeling my dear, but Jonah has made his decision and now it’s up to you,” she said, as she pointed towards the open door.
Then, as Ava looked in the direction of where her mother was pointing to, she realized that beyond the opened door the abyss was starting to implode within itself.
“Once the abyss has destroyed itself you cannot go to where Jonah is going Ava,” Dean said.
“Where did he go dad?” Ava asked.
“I cannot tell you my precious, I’m sorry. You have to do what you feel is right,” Dean replied.
Then as Ava turned back to face her parents she could hear the abyss imploding within itself and the ground that she stood on began to tremble, and it was then that she somehow remembered Galiac’s prophecy of her having to choose between her parents and Zerros.
As she vividly remembered his words, deep inside her she knew what she had to do and then as the tears poured down her face she walked up to her mother and father and embraced them both and as they cried together, Luanne and Dean knew that the decision was already made.
“Please forgive me for not choosing you,” Ava said to her parents.
“There is nothing to forgive Ava, we love you more than anything,” Luanne replied, and she watched as Ava bravely, yet sadly, walked towards the door.
As Ava looked back at her mother and father, they were in each other’s arms with smiles on their faces as they proudly looked at her, and even though tears ran down their faces, Ava felt their happiness in this most unhappy of situations.
Then, as Ava reached the door and looked into the abyss, she turned back to her parents one last time and said, “I love you both so much, thank you for making me who I am,” and as they smiled at her she smiled back at them, knowing fully well that she would never see them again.
She then looked into the imploding abyss, not knowing whether she would be swallowed alive by it which would surely mean certain death; or if she would live to continue her life and fulfill her destiny in becoming the Phoenix.
Then, as the ground beneath her continued to violently shake, she remembered Galiac’s final few words to her and she knew that it was now the time for her to reclaim her place as the supreme ruler of Zerros, and with it the countless number of universes, galaxies and life forms in existence.
Then as the memories of her past lives went flashing through her mind, she knew that there was only one way to make it back home to Zerros and continue her journey to finally become one with the majestic Phoenix; a journey which began with her violent and savage death at the hands of the Blue Dragon and his powerful minions many eons and lifetimes ago.
And then without a moment of hesitation she looked into the never–ending abyss and jumped, ready for whatever was written for her in the book of destiny as the fate of everything in existence within Zerros and also everything in existence within the nearly eternal Realm of Creation hung in the balance, as the final and epic battle between the Dragon and the Phoenix loomed on the horizon.

Just like us; the atoms and cells of our bodies are governed by the powers of Time and Destiny, and they live individual lives just like we do. And just like our atoms and cells, we are also a part of something larger than what we perceive life to be.
