A Bride For a Werewolf

“Where is Lycell?”
“He’s in the master bedroom with Karen’s sister.”
“Not the principal’s daughter I hope. I promised him Lycell would stay away from her.”
“No. Not her. The principal sent her to live with her mother.”
“Then who is it this time?”
“You know that doctor who heads the pediatric ward at our hospital, well he has three daughters, triplets, and they’re our dates.”
“What the hell, Drayton. Couldn’t you find someone else’s daughters to date? He’s important to the growth of Samsaville.”
“But they asked us out.”
“You should have known better. I’m not worried about you and Wilder, but it’s Lycell. You never know what he will do or what kind of damage he will cause.”
“I wouldn’t worry about his date. She’s a virgin and she swears she’s going to stay that way.”
“Don’t you know that is a challenge to Lycell. Where is he?” And Harper took off in a huff running to the house.
“In the bedroom to the right,” Drayton shouted.
Harper stepped in and the music was low and guys and girls were dancing and sitting around with a beer in hand and some were holed up in the kitchen talking and eating. Harper bounded up the stairs as if his life depended on it.
Harper didn’t bother knocking, he went into the room and looked around and no one was there. He heard the sound of Lycell talking in the next room.
“When are you coming out of the bathroom? You can’t stay in there forever. The party’s almost over and I haven’t kissed you. Come on out,” he said with a low charming voice as if trying to coax a kitten from under a bed.
“No. Stay in there,” Harper said. Lycell turned and his eyes widened. “Father.”
The girl opened the door slowly. She looked at Lycell. “I can’t. I can’t do what you want.”
“He knows,” Harper said
“Hi, Mr. Samsa,” Alicia said with a bright smile as if she had been given a reprieve from death.
“Did my father send you to bring us home?”
“In a way.”
She glanced at Lycell, “I’ll be waiting for you downstairs.” And she put her head down and tiptoed out of the room.
Harper looked to Lycell. Lycell didn’t say a word. He put on his shirt and shoes and smiled. Harper wasn’t amused.
“Don’t you know that if you did anything with that girl I could lose an important doctor?” Harper turned and walked down the stairs.
“This party is over. If you want to come to our ranch, you are welcome. But there won’t be any drinks unless it’s coke-a-cola.”
Harper heard some guy in the corner with his date say, “That’s a bummer not even a Mountain Dew. I’m going home. If I wanted to be around my parents, I could have stayed home at least they are sleeping now. And that reminds me, I can sneak you into my basement. My rooms down there and my family won’t suspect a thing,”
He took the girl by the hand and said, “Nice party, Lycell, while it lasted. Parents are such dicks.” And he glanced at Harper whose eyes changed to a fiery red. The young man had to jump back and said to his guest. “Let’s go.” And they hurried out with the rest of the Samsa werewolves classmates.
When the house was cleared, all four of the Samsas sat on an L sofa. “Where are the triplets?” Harper asked Drayton.
“They caught a ride with some friends,” Drayton said with a disappointed sigh.
“You know what that means, father. My reputation is ruined,” Lycell said as Wilder cut a serious glance at Lycell. His forehead furrowed into three rows, his rolled up fist under his chin.
“It is best that your reputation get ruined than you ruin that girls,” Harper said.
“And what do you have to say, Wilder.”
“She was my date and I told Lycell, but he was insistent on keeping her. I knew she wouldn’t have sex with Lycell or anyone. She was too smart for Lycell.”
“What are you saying?” Lycell stood.
“Sit down, Lycell. I warned you about getting angry with your brother over a female. Until you find a mate, don’t argue over a female. And don’t argue with your brothers. Never. When you find the right one you will know it.
“You have to learn to survive in a man’s world and in were-wolves world, and that’s why we are leaving tonight for Alaska.”
“Tonight?”
“But we haven’t eaten yet.”
“You will catch your food and prepare it along the way,” Harper said.
“Good. It’s about time,” Wilder chimed in.
“What’s so fucking good about that?” Lycell said as his mouth turned downward and he stared at Harper and then outward looking at the snow covered mountains with a disappointed glare and unfulfilled passion.

“I lowered my eyes when our gaze locked and I felt his forceful look. Why did I feel as if I had seen those eyes before? He had a profound effect over me. My unstable pulse wouldn’t let up. I couldn’t control it. I felt in a daze as if I could faint.
That’s all I needed was to faint and fall to the floor. Maybe that wasn’t a bad thing. Then he could pick me up and whisk me away to his place and we would live happily ever after and I would have his babies. He looked like he could make beautiful babies.”
The Soul of A Vampire Book 2
Zoey thought Sebastian was the most handsome vampire with a beautiful soul, that is, until she strode into a room and found him feeding on a young woman. Zoey should have been repulsed by the sight of him after he convinced her that he would never go back to that soulless existence. “To preserve my humanity, I only feed on animals,” he promised Zoey, which wasn’t exactly true.
Zoey didn’t loath Sebastian, she hated the woman more because she thought Sebastian found the girl’s blood more desirable than hers.
When Sebastian discovered that his craving for human blood is more intense than ever, now that he has dined on it, after years of abstaining, there’s no way he can return to feeding on animals when his unbridle desire for Zoey’s sweet blood is all he can think about, especially since she’s a willing victim.
Now Sebastian’s mission is to keep Zoey safe, from him.
