Redeeming Claire Page 17

His lips quirked upward. “Gee, thanks.”

“Okay. Maybe I’m not perfect, either,” she said with mock resignation. “But together we have this great thing, this…perfect love.”

  “Perfect?”

“Okay,” she said with a saucy smile. “Maybe not perfect, but good.”

  “Very good,” Tony said.

His eyes darkened, and when his lips met hers, Claire closed her eyes and kissed him, losing herself in the surge of emotion that exploded inside her like fireworks on the Fourth of July.

Their lives would be filled with fireworks.

  On their wedding day tomorrow.

And all the days to come.

  Dear Reader,

If you’ve read my third novel for Love Inspired, The Marrying Kind, then you’ve already met Tony and Claire. When I first started writing The Marrying Kind, I had no intention of bringing Tony and Claire back in a book of their own. But the closer I got to the end of that book, the more I realized that I hadn’t seen the last of Claire Waters. She demanded a book of her own!

Although you may find her a rather unlikely heroine at the beginning of this story, I hope that you’ll agree with me that she is totally “redeemable.”

I enjoyed writing this book and I hope you like reading it!
