“Hell yeah! You got a nigga hard as fuck, throwing that ass back on me like that,” Peanut gleamed. They already had plans to head to the Marriott for the night, and it was looking like they would be there sooner than anticipated, if things kept going the way they were.

About thirty minutes later, bottles breaking throughout the club could be heard. Two chicks were beating the fuck out of each other in the far left corner, and there was no way in hell you could pick a winner because they were both throwing major jabs before security picked them up and took them out. “We better get outta here before the niggas start acting crazy,” Peanut said and lifted Coco up. Damn, I wish I coulda met this bitch under different circumstances, Peanut thought as he admired Coco’s fat ass in her dress.

They made it to the Marriott about fifteen minutes til two o’clock. Coco had way more drinks than Peanut, and she was feeling herself. In the elevator, she grabbed his dick and said she couldn’t wait to get it in her mouth. Hearing her slur while saying that shit made Peanut’s dick get harder. She unzipped his pants and he didn’t stop her from pulling it out. She teased him by bending down and licking the tip. “Shit! We shoulda took the fucking stairs,” Peanut said frustrated because it was taking them forever to get to their floor. In reality, it wasn’t that long of a wait; he was just ready to feel her mouth on his hard ass dick because he knew what it was capable of doing.

They couldn’t make it into their room fast enough. Peanut was out of his jeans before the door was closed. They both made a trail with their clothes leading to the bed. Coco pushed Peanut down onto the king size bed and started planting kisses all over his body. When she reached his long hard dick, it was standing at attention, waiting on her wet and juicy mouth. She knew that Peanut loved her fire head game, and she always came with new tricks. Coco spit on his dick and went to work. She deep throated him and had him saying all kinds of shit. He must have really been feeling good because he raised up and flipped Coco over. After giving her breasts some pleasure, he made his way down and parted her legs. She was anxious to see what his tongue game was about to be like since he had never reciprocated before.

“Ahhh… ohhh shit!” Coco moaned after he nibbled, sucked, and bit all on her pearl tongue, and caused her to come within the first minute of him feasting. When he stuck two fingers inside of her as he ate her pussy, she lost control and squirted all in his mouth.

“You didn’t think I had it in me, did you?” Peanut snidely asked her after he finally came up for air. Coco was feeling so damn good, she couldn’t even answer, but she silently agreed with what he had just said. After sliding on a condom and lifting both of her legs up, Peanut entered Coco’s wetness and deep stroked her. She clinched her pussy around his dick and made him moan. “Ummm… shit! You got some bomb ass pussy baby!” Peanut admitted.

“And you got some fye ass dick, big daddy,” Coco replied. After a few minutes of beating the pussy up from the front, Peanut pulled his dick out and instructed Coco to turn over. She did just what he said and he slapped her on the ass three times before going back in. “Fuck me, daddy!” Coco purred. Peanut reached around and played with her clit, and she threw her ass back on him the same as she had hours earlier while they were at the club. “Oh shit… I’m… I’m bout to come bae,” Coco said.

“Let that shit go,” Peanut told her. After she came, he pulled his dick out and nutted all on her ass, then fell down on the bed beside her.

“Damn!” he said. Before they drifted off to sleep, Coco told him that she was in the process of finding out when Jay’s next meeting was at; the location where no weapons were. She let him know that they didn’t meet there often, so it could be another month or so because they never set the dates early. She knew she had to play nice with Jay in order to stay around and get the information.

“Good looking out bae,” Peanut told her after he pulled her close and drifted off to sleep.

  Chapter 20

“I can’t thank y’all enough for having a nigga back during all of the madness. I know all of y’all know Dee is home and he is doing fine. You can’t hold a real nigga down for long,” Smoke said while chuckling. Laughter could be heard throughout the room and each of the guys told him that no thanks was needed because they knew, without a doubt, that if the tables were turned, he would have their backs as well. “Shit still ain’t all the way cool because the person responsible for taking him hasn’t been dealt with, but they will be as soon as we find out all the details. But on the business tip, we got niggas that think we some pussies and they gon be dealt with too,” Smoke said.

He stood there thinking about everything that Peanut had filled him in on and became angry. “This shit that’s been popping off seems like some personal shit. It’s coming from a coward mu’fucka and, when I find out exactly who it is, it’s muthafuckin on. I know the talk has been floating around about me retiring and shit, but y’all niggas know good and got damn well that I ain’t leaving until shit get straight,” Smoke told his crew. They all nodded their heads, letting him know that they understood exactly where he was coming from. “I need everybody to stay on their P’s and Q’s. I know y’all be on it, but we gotta move smoother because bitch ass niggas are watching. A new shipment will be arriving today, but it’s not getting delivered to the location it normally goes to on Saturdays. I don’t need nobody thinking we hiding shit and tryna keep y’all outta loop when shit like this changes. We just gotta move smarter,” Smoke continued.

When Smoke was done talking, he chopped it up with a few of his crew members. They expressed their happiness about Dee being returned home safely and let him know that they still had their eyes and ears opened in the streets for any new information. He thanked them and told them how much he appreciated them before he left. His next stop was going to be at his apartment before heading back to Kamora’s house. D’Mani was ready to play basketball and his coach told them that he would be happy to let him finish out the season. There were three games left and they only had three losses so far this season. One that resulted in forfeiting the day after D’Mani was kidnapped. The team couldn’t pull themselves together, which was totally understandable to the coaches, as well as parents.

Smoke made it to his apartment and went straight to add his money to his safe. I have more than enough money to live comfortably for the rest of my life, so I really gotta find some more things to invest in and leave these streets alone, he thought to himself. As soon as he opened the safe, he noticed the ring he bought for Kamora and smiled. He grabbed it, opened the box, and admired it. “She gonna love this,” he said to himself while putting the ring in his pocket. After Smoke finished counting his money and adding it to his stash, he grabbed a bottle of water and headed out. Slowly but surely, he had plenty of clothes at Kamora’s house, so there was no need to pack anything.

Demetrius called his mom while he was on his way to pick up Kamora and Dee. “What y’all doing tonight? I wanna cook for y’all,” his mom told him after he greeted her. Demetrius told her that they would probably just get something to eat after Dee’s game, so her cooking would be just fine. He told her he was sure Kamora wouldn’t mind. His mom talked his ear off until he finally told her that he made it to his destination when he pulled into Kamora’s driveway.

Since Kamora had given him a key, due to him coming in and out so frequently, he pulled it out and let himself in. D’Mani was sitting in the living room watching TV when he walked in. “What’s up lil man? You ready for the game?” Demetrius asked him while walking up and giving him dap.

“Yep!” D’Mani said excitedly, as he picked up his basketball and started bouncing it.

“I know you not bouncing the basketball in the house!” Kamora said from her room.

“I’ll go outside and bounce it,” D’Mani replied as he headed towards the front door.

“NO!” Kamora yelled aggressively while running out of the room.

Demetrius and D’Mani both stared at he
r. “I mean… we’re about to go sweetie. I’m ready,” Kamora softened her voice and said.

“She’s not gonna take me anymore,” D’Mani said sadly.

“She?” Kamora and Demetrius said simultaneously. That was the first time D’Mani had mentioned anything surrounding his kidnapping. Once he woke up at the hospital, he smiled when he saw Kamora and Demetrius standing beside his bed. He started talking about basketball, and they couldn’t help but to laugh. They were told to keep an eye on him, but the doctor, nurse, and even the therapist agreed that he was a special kid and it seemed like he was fine. He attended two therapy sessions. The therapist said that he would eventually talk about his kidnapping when it was triggered and told Kamora and Demetrius not to be alarmed or force anything out of him; they were instructed to let him talk freely. Kamora made a mental note to call Detective Johnson as well as the therapist later.

“Yes… I kept asking for my mommy and, when I cried too much, she said I am your real mommy,” D’Mani said nonchalantly. “But she said she should have formed a better plan and she was bringing me home,” D’Mani continued.

“Do you know her real name D’Mani?” Kamora asked with tears in her eyes. She was angry on the inside but emotional on the outside because he was finally opening up, just like the therapist said he would.

“No. I’m ready to play basketball,” D’Mani replied.

“I’ll take him outside while you finish getting ready,” Demetrius told Kamora and headed outside with D’Mani.

At almost three o’clock, they were pulling up to the gym. The game was scheduled to start at four o’clock. “WELCOME BACK!!” everyone screamed as soon as they walked into the gym. D’Mani smiled from ear to ear when his teammates and coaches ran up and hugged him.

“You didn’t tell us this was going on!” Kamora said to D’Mani’s coach.

“We wanted to surprise you all too,” the coach replied while smiling.

“Well, we are pleasantly surprised and thankful,” Kamora smiled and replied. Everyone mingled for the next thirty to forty-five minutes until it was time for the team to warm up. The game time had been pushed back to 4:30, so they had plenty of time.

D’Mani was told that he wouldn’t be able to start and he understood the reasoning better than they thought he would. The game started and, after four minutes passed, D’Mani was put into the game. He played like he had never missed a beat. His team won by ten points and they were all excited because it was one of the teams they lost to previously. “If we win our next game, we get to play in the championship. Win or lose, we are all still champions,” the coach told the team before everyone left.

“Great game lil man,” Demetrius said to D’Mani. He couldn’t help but to stare at him now more than he did in the past. Ever since the nurse made that comment about the blood types, Demetrius began to wonder what the chances of him really being D’Mani’s dad were. He told himself that was way too farfetched and put it out of his mind, but the similarities had him constantly second guessing his original thoughts.

“My mom is cooking and wants us to come over. You cool with that?” Demetrius asked Kamora.

“A home cooked meal sounds nice,” she replied and grabbed his hand.

They made it to Demetrius mother’s house and she greeted all of them with a warm smile and hugs. “Hi granny!” D’Mani beamed. Both Demetrius and Kamora were both shocked, but Demetrius’ mom acted like it was normal because the last time she saw him, he had asked if he could call her granny since he didn’t have one and she told him sure.

“I’m finishing up in here, so y’all can have a seat and we’ll be eating shortly,” his mom told them. Kamora followed her into the kitchen and offered to assist. She was told to sit down and relax, but she refused.

Fifteen minutes later, the table was set, grace was said by D’Mani, and everyone was eating. Each of them filled their plates with fried and baked chicken, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, and corn bread. “This food is good granny, but I’m ready to eat that cake,” D’Mani said while pointing to the strawberry shortcake that was sitting in the middle of the table.

“I whipped that together just for you,” she told him while smiling.

Everyone was stuffed, but made room for dessert. When they finished eating, Kamora got up to do the dishes before Mrs. Jordan could. “I got it baby. You don’t have to do that,” Demetrius’ mom told her.

“I don’t mind at all. I’m gonna be around for a while, so I might as well get used to it,” Kamora said and winked at Demetrius. She was feeling pretty good about their relationship because he really showed her that he would be there for her during rough times. Even when she acted crazy, he was still persistent and that meant so much to her.

“I’m glad you feel that way baby because I want to spend the rest of my life with you,” Demetrius said while pulling the ring out of his pocket and getting down on one knee. When he opened the box, Kamora dropped the two plates that she was holding and they shattered. “Oh my God! I’m so sorry,” she said to his mom.

“Oh my God! Baby! Are you serious?” Kamora said with tears running down both cheeks.

“I love you, Kamora. Ever since you came into my life, I knew you were the one for me. I can’t imagine not waking up to your smile. Your heart is so pure and I want to cherish it for the rest of my life. Will you marry me?” Demetrius proposed, getting a little emotional.

“YES!! Of course I will marry you,” she happily replied. He slipped the ring on her finger and stood up, picked her up, and kissed her while spinning her around.

“Does this mean you’re my dad now?” D’Mani asked. Demetrius was taken aback by that question, but Kamora told him yes before he replied. Mrs. Jordan stood there with tears of joy in her eyes. She was elated that her son had finally found someone who would love him like she felt he deserved to be loved. “Look at me, mommy,” D’Mani said to Kamora, while holding up a baby picture of Demetrius. Kamora looked at the picture and was in awe. She was speechless for several seconds before telling D’Mani that was Demetrius on the picture and not him. D’Mani looked confused, but he put the picture back, dropped the subject, and went in the living room to watch TV.

“That lil nigga really does look like me!” Demetrius said astonished.

Mrs. Jordan swept the broken glass up and told Kamora that she would clean the kitchen. When Kamora tried to interject, she was told there was no way she was about to put that beautiful ring in dishwater five minutes after putting it on her finger. Kamora smiled and looked down at her ring. She knew there would be no changing Mrs. Jordan’s mind, so she dropped the subject. They stayed at Demetrius’ mom’s house for about another hour before heading home. Kamora couldn’t wait to call Nikki, but then she thought against it since she was going through her ordeal and decided she would wait until the next day. “We should go to church tomorrow,” Demetrius said on the way home. Kamora smiled and told him that sounded like a good idea because they really had countless blessings.

  Chapter 21

On Monday morning, Kamora was sitting with Detective Johnson filling him in on everything. She left D’Mani at home with Demetrius, until it was time for him to leave and take care of some business. Demetrius was going to drop him off with his mom because Kamora didn’t want him to start the summer program he was used to going to right away. Demetrius told her he understood but made it known that D’Mani didn’t need to be denied being around other kids because it might do more harm than good.

Detective Johnson apologized for not answering Kamora’s calls over the weekend and told her that he was on a much needed vacation and his wife made him shut his phone completely off for two whole days. “I did listen to your voice message and I started looking up information last night while at home. There’s a Trish Nichols listed on the birth certificate as D’Mani’s mother. Here’s a picture of her,” Detective Johnson said and handed her the photo to look at. Kamora examined the picture carefully. She asked for a copy of it and the detective
told her she could keep that one. If I ever run across this bitch, her ass is mine, Kamora thought to herself.

Detective Johnson ran down everything for Kamora and told her that he was going to issue a warrant out for Ms. Nichols. He opened his mouth to speak, but his phone rang. “Detective Johnson,” he answered. “Hmmm… interesting. Send them in,” he continued. “I’m going to fill you in on all of this shortly, but apparently some neighbors heard a child constantly crying and they knocked on the neighbor’s door. A woman looking agitated answered and brushed them off. I’m going to see if they can identify Ms. Nichols. They’re on their way in now,” Detective Johnson said when he hung up the phone.

“I wish I could stay, but I understand. I look forward to hearing from you later,” Kamora said as she was getting up to leave.

Kamora was on her way to Fat Matt’s Rib Shack to meet Nikki for lunch. She decided to call Brook while she was on her way. “Hey cousin,” Brook said as soon as she answered. Brook visited them yesterday evening after they made it from church, and D’Mani was extremely happy to see her. He hadn’t seen her since he left the hospital.

“Hey Brook, what are you up to?” Kamora asked. Brook told her that she was at home cleaning a little and then went right into talking about Kamora’s ring.

“Demetrius really loves you, girl,” she told her cousin.

“He does, and I hope Jay really loves you,” Kamora replied.

“You’ve got to meet him soon, so you can get rid of the ill feelings. Aren’t you happy I’m growing up and making better choices?” Brook asked.

“I am Brook. I’m not trying to be mean or anything. If he’s as nice as you say and you’re happy, I’m happy for you,” Kamora told her.
