Nate's Naughty Nymph [The Doms of Club Mystique 5] (Siren Publishing Classic)
Page 18
“Just don’t fall.” Nate had his arm around her waist just in case she got wobbly.
The sound of voices drew them toward the den. They paused in the door, expecting to be greeted. Instead, they found Addison and Cassie crying while Cade, Luc, and Logan tried to comfort them. Jackson and Jenna sat next to Cade’s desk while Zane and Ravyn occupied one of the chairs by the window. Ben Harrington and a weeping Valentina Rios sat on the couch. Ben’s cuts and burns were healing. The bruises around his eyes were a sickening shade of green.
“What’s going on?” Nate asked as he helped Nymph into a chair.
Cade looked up with stunned eyes. “Ben, Mac, Thor, and Marisol were captured by Mendez before they could rescue Valentina. Ben and Mac escaped, but not until after they’d been held and tortured by Mendez and his men for several days. He and Mac got separated in the jungle, but Ben thinks Mac got away.”
“Where’s Thor and Marisol?” Nate asked.
Cade held Addison closer. “Ben thinks Mendez killed them.”

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Hi, I’m Mardi Maxwell. I love to travel and I’ve traveled throughout America and lived in sunny California, hot and dry west Texas, and the mountains of Colorado. I wrote my first erotic romance in the summer of 2013. It was accepted and published that same year. Since then I’ve written four more books in the Doms of Club Mystique series. My heroes are tough cowboys with military backgrounds and my heroines are strong, sassy and submissive. I like to read books that make me laugh and cry so that’s what I write. I also put a little suspense in my novels along with a happy forever ending.
Other than writing and reading, I love to garden, swim, cook, do ceramics, try new craft ideas, and go to the local drive-in movie with a carload of friends and family (and a huge container of home-made cheese popcorn).
