“If you two are trying to drive me fucking crazy,” Ash said, “It’s working.” I looked over my shoulder to see Ash drop the other towels. And his full erection. I guess it is working. “Please let me play, too.”
“She’s dry now if you want her,” Robin said. “Do you want her?”
“Yes,” Ash said in a husky reply. “I want her. Can I have her?”
“She’s yours, baby,” Robin said. She put her hands on my shoulders and turned me around to face Ash. Reaching around from behind, she caressed my stomach, moving up until her hands cupped my breasts. “But after you’ve had her for a while, you have to share.” I closed my eyes and enjoyed her touch, gasping when I felt Ash’s hands on my skin, too.
“I’ll share her with you, baby,” Ash said. “And then I’ll share you with Lacey.” My eyes popped open, immediately catching Ash’s gaze. “Do you like that idea, Lace?” Ash asked, looking into my eyes. I nodded. “Good.” He gripped my face and kissed me hard. Coaxing me back to the bed.
My legs hit the side of the bed and I fell backwards. Ash spread my legs, pressing on my shins until my heels rested on the edge of the mattress. My knees fell to the sides, and I waited in anticipation, hoping to feel Ash’s mouth against the sensitive, swollen lips between my legs. He didn’t disappoint me.
The heat of his mouth and tongue sent chills up my back and down my legs simultaneously. My clawed at the material under my hands, balling it in my fists to keep from yelling out. I could feel the juices flowing from me freely, preparing my body for him.
Ash gently slid two fingers inside me, making all the air in my lungs expel a once. “She wanted to taste you, too,” Ash said. I looked up to see Robin standing beside him. He pulled his fingers out and put them in her mouth. “And you taste so sweet I had to let her.”
A surge of electricity tingled at the base of my skull. My loins were on fire. The butterflies in my stomach had grown to the size of vampire bats. All these sensations I had never experienced before.
The next few hours were a union of bodies and couplings in every combination. Ash and me. Robin and Ash. Robin and Me. Robin and me on Ash. Ash and Robin on me. Ash and me on Robin. By the time we finished, I had lost count of the number of orgasms I had. We enjoyed each other until our muscles gave out.
I didn’t think it was possible to fuck to the point of physical exhaustion, but we did.
We all climbed onto the bed and fell into something resembling a puppy pile. My head rested on Ash’s chest while Robin spooned me from behind, draping her arm over me, resting her hand on Ash’s stomach. The room was quiet, filled only with the sounds of our breathing.
“Robin,” Ash said quietly. He kept his body still and his eyes closed.
“Yeah, babe,” Robin answered. I felt the warmth from Robin’s breath on my neck.
“Thank you for my birthday gift.” That’s me. I was his birthday gift.
“You’re welcome,” Robin giggled.
“Lacey.” Ash spoke just above a whisper.
“Yes,” I replied. Moving my lips felt like a chore.
“Thank you for being my birthday gift,” he said. He turned and kissed me on the forehead. “You helped make this the best birthday ever.”
I smiled. “You’re welcome.” It was the best weekend of my life.
Chapter Thirteen
Somehow, our overnight that had turned into a weekend morphed into a Spring break vacation. We had been at the hotel for eight days now. With five days left before classes started, I found myself not wanting it to end. And it wasn’t just about the sex. Ash, Robin and I had become fast, furious friends. We stayed up all night talking. Sharing secrets. Telling each other things about our childhood, our parents, our best and worst jobs. We even talked about past relationships.
I told them about Eric. Robin already knew a little. Part of me expected them to take his side. But they didn’t.
Ash decided he was tired of the hotel food and wanted to go out to eat. We ended up at steak place that had great fries and a cocktail that was made with a secret recipe. Robin and I walked in to get a table while Ash stayed outside to take a phone call.
“I really have to pee,” Robin said, doing the five-year-old potty dance. “Can you get the table while I run to the bathroom? I’ll hurry. I promise.”
I laughed at her bouncing up and down. “Yes,” I said with a chuckle. “Go. Before you pee your pants.” Robin leaned in, kissed me on the cheek, and took off down the aisle to the bathroom.
The hostess approached the dark brown stand, smiling a bit too wide. “Hi there,” she said. “How many are you tonight?”
“Um…” I really tried not to laugh at the phrasing of her question. “We have three,” I said with a chuckle. “Thank you.”
“And the name?” She looked down onto the surface of her podium.
“Lacey?” Before I could answer her, I heard someone call my name off to the left. “Lacey is that you?”
I recognized the voice and cringed. Fuck. It was Eric. How? How the fuck did this happen? I balled my fists but knew that I would never have the courage to actually hit him – no matter how much I wanted to.
The hostess looked at me. “Is Lacey the name for your party?” she asked.
“No,” I replied, more quietly than before. “The name is Caine.”
“I’ll be damned. It is you.” Eric moved to stand in front of me, directly in my line of sight, interrupting my conversation with the hostess. “Wow. Look at you.” His eyes scanned me up and down, slowly. I almost felt violated. “You look good.”
“Thank you,” I said. I kept my voice monotone and absent of any feelings, and I made sure not to make direct eye contact with him.
“I think you and I should get together and talk, Lace.” He took a step closer. I felt a shudder run across my chest and down my stomach. Having him so close to me almost made me feel physically ill. Shouldn’t Robin and Ash be back by now?
I took a step back to try to gain some distance. “Really?” I said. I looked down at my shoes and kicked at an invisible rock on the floor. “What do we possibly have to talk about?”
“About you coming home.” My head snapped up and I saw he was serious. I glared at him, only to have him smile back at me. That cheesy, charming smile he thinks gives him a blanket permission to do and say whatever he wants. “I hate to see you suffering like this.”
“Suffer? What the … where …?” All the frustration, anger, and fear I had felt during my time with Eric poured over me like a tropical storm. Are you fucking kidding me?
“Lacey, baby,” he said. He reached out for me. I retracted from his touch. “You can come home now. I forgive you.”
I had no idea what to say. Or how to respond. Or how not to kick him in the balls in public. Suddenly, I felt the soft touch of a familiar hand on the small of my back. I turned to see Ash on my right.
“Sorry I took so long,” he said. He reached up and moved a lock of hair off my face. “Forgive me?” I smiled. Ash kissed me on the mouth, a sweet, sexy kiss, running his fingers down my cheek. Either Ash is ignoring Eric, or he doesn’t give a shit that he’s there.
Ash turned his head slowly and looked at the man standing in front of us. “Who’s this, Lace?” he asked.
“This is Eric,” I replied.
“Oooh,” Ash looked him up and down, nodding slowly. “Yeah, I can see it.”
Eric’s mouth made some weird, crooked expression. “See what?” he asked. I heard that familiar tone of aggravation in his voice and my stomach clenched. What had I ever seen in him? “What did you tell him?”
Suddenly, I felt a touch on my shoulder and looking to my left, I saw Robin. She placed her free hand on the space between my breasts as she leaned in and kissed me on the mouth.
“Sorry it took me so long,” she said, wiping her crimson lipstick from my bottom lip with her thumb. Robin moved her gaze to Eric. “Who’s this?”
Ash leaned forward, looking around me. “This is Er
ic,” he said with a smug smile.
“This is Eric?” Just as Ash had done, Robin inspected Eric, looking him up and down, slowly. “Ah. Yep. I can totally see it.”
Through the expression on his face, I watched Eric’s frustration change to anger. And that anger was directed at me.
“What the fuck did you tell them?” He growled. “What the fuck did you say? What lies are you telling people about me?”
“I didn’t lie,” I said. The fear I had felt only moments ago had evaporated with Ash and Robin’s touch. I wasn’t going to let him intimidate me. Not anymore. “All I told them was that you were a bit, um, well, a bit vanilla.”
“Vanilla?” He shifted his weight and tucked his hands into the pockets of his khaki tan pants. “What the fuck does that mean? Vanilla?”
Robin slinked toward Eric, her shoulder and hips swaying seductively. “You know. Vanilla. A single flavor. No toppings. No sprinkles. Just plain vanilla.” She moved to a position behind his right shoulder and leaned in closely, her lips nearly touching his ear. “But you see that beautiful woman over there? Look at her. She is so not vanilla. That girl is Baskin Robbins. So. Many. Flavors.” Robin moved back toward me.
“So, thank you,” Ash said. “By you, well, by you just being you, and letting all this deliciousness slip through your hands, we’ll never go hungry again.” Ash placed a kiss on my neck. I bit my bottom lip trying to keep my excitement contained.
Two of Eric’s friends approached from the bar just as the hostess informed us that our table was ready. I held Robin’s hand as she led the way, and took Ash’s arm, walking next to him through the row of tables. Taking my seat at our table, I glanced back to see Eric and his friends standing at the door. He was still staring at me. He was looking at me and I felt nothing. Nothing.
At that moment, I realized that I was truly over him. I was over him and I was falling in love with someone new.
I was falling in love with myself.
Rain on Me
Belle Maurice
About the Story
Vicky moved to the outskirts of a small town to an apartment over a garage to lick her wounds and lose her divorce weight. Her hot, young landlord is a handyman who provides plenty of eye candy. Then he breaks up with his girlfriend and reminds her that she’s a sexy woman no matter what age or size she is.
Watching his new tenant do yoga had been Ryan’s entertainment since she moved in. Then he finds out she’s hot in the sack and great at managing his business. She might be the perfect woman, except she’s hauling some serious baggage from her marriage and hung up on their age difference. She’s also a raging control freak and that’s the only thing he can’t take.
Chapter One
“And you’ve got a little dick too,” Lissa shrieked, heaving her last box of stuff in the open bed of her truck.
Ryan folded his arms and checked the horizon. His chest hurt and for he first time since kindergarten, he wanted to take a nap. Lissa better be planning to get wherever she was going in the next half an hour because a line of black clouds was creeping above the trees.
“You stupid son of a bitch.” Lissa jumped on the runner to shout over the cab of the truck. Her pretty face was red and blotchy. “You had it all, you know.”
She was the one who had had it all, nice place to live, easy job, his best friend…
A shadow passed behind the curtain of the apartment over the garage. Great, the new tenant was getting an eyeful.
“Just you remember what you’re missing.” Lissa ripped off her shirt, which was normally a pretty enticing sight, but she hadn’t taken into account the fact that the roof of the truck would block his view of her goodies. His new tenant could see at least, meaning that everyone in town had seen Lissa’s tits down to the most recent arrival.
“Bye, Lissa. You better get on the road before that storm hits.” Ryan waved. The sooner she hit the road, the better. He had stuff to do.
Lissa sobbed, blubbered, and cursed as she threw herself into the driver’s seat, dropped the truck into gear, and dug a big damn hole in his dirt drive as she tore out.
Should have put laid the concrete for that by now.
The shadow moved behind the curtain again so Ryan went inside. The city lady hadn’t moved out here to watch his love life implode out her window. The appointment calendar lay on the front room table all filled in by Lissa’s neat hand. He flipped forward. In two weeks he wouldn’t even have to look at her handwriting anymore. Good riddance. This afternoon, he was supposed to be out at Seeger’s cutting some limbs, but that had been delayed by coming home and finding Lissa and Frankie naked and bucking on his living room floor. Frankie had left a huge hole in the driveway too. Ryan called Mike Seeger on the landline.
“Hi Mike, it’s Ryan. I’m not going to make it out there today.”
“Why not?”
“I got held up and there’s a bad storm coming in from the west.” Ryan peered out the window. Coming up fast. He switched on the radio. Should be an alert between songs.
“Holy smokes. I might not have as many limbs for you to take down after that blows over. When can you come out?”
“How’s Tuesday?”
“I have to be back at work on Monday.”
“It’s all outside work, Mike. You don’t have to be home.”
“I know, but what if something happens?”
Ryan frowned at the phone. Mike didn’t want to spot as much as he wanted to feel like he was part of the action. Any other day that would be funny. “It’ll be fine, Mike.”
The new tenant came down the stairs from her apartment in a pink jogging suit. She had her short blond hair pulled into a ponytail that barely brushed her neck. This fitness obsessed, she should be much tinier. Yoga in the mornings, jogging in the afternoon, a bike ride at sunset. The afternoon jog was a bad idea the way that storm was boiling up. The bike ride was probably out too. Ryan liked her shape the way it was. Generous.
“Hey Mike, I gotta go. I’ll get out to your place Tuesday and take care of those branches.”
“Sure, see you then.”
Ryan hung up the phone and hurried outside. “Hey, uh, Ms. Anderson?”
She stopped stretching and turned to him. “Hello Mr. Lowery, what are you doing home so early today?”
The very question Frankie had asked when he walked in an hour ago planning to have some lunch at home and a quickie with Lissa before heading out to trim those branches. “Just stopping in between jobs.”
“Ah.” She nodded like she hadn’t heard or seen the entire drama.
“I just wanted to warn you that this might not be a great time to go out.”
“Why?”
Ryan gestured to the storm clouds. “It’s going to rain bad.”
Ms. Anderson peered at the horizon like it had never occurred to her that weather might be a factor in her plans. “I hadn’t noticed.”
“I wanted to stop you before you got soaked.”
“Thank you. I’ve never lived out in the country before.”
“No problem.” He turned to go back in the house.
“Are you—”
Ryan turned back. The tenant was still standing at the bottom of the stairs. She had a sweet concerned expression on her face.
“Would you like some lunch?” she said. “I was planning to eat when I got back from my run and I have everything out already if you’d like to join me.”
What he’d like to do was punch holes in the wall, murder Frankie, and set fire to Lissa’s truck. “No, thank you.” The tenant was probably eating some form of tofu with sprouts anyway. He went back into the house. From the front room window he saw her go back up to her apartment. She wasn’t bad looking. Older and on the heavy side, but she carried it well. Broad rounded hips, big boobs. Watching her do yoga in the mornings was guaranteed to give him a boner, but he’d always put that down to the bending as much as the curves doing it. Learn something new everyday.
He slapped bologna on brea
d and called it lunch, which he ate standing in front of the front room window. At some point he was going to have to go in the living room and face the place where he found them.
Not now.
The rain hadn’t started yet, so he went out to his truck and got a shovel. Fix the dents they’d left in the drive first. Let the pain in his chest have a few minutes to lessen before he dealt with the living room.
At least they hadn’t been in his bed.
* * *
Vicky watched him through the window as she spooned Greek yogurt into her mouth. Poor guy. Blond hair flopping over his eyes, he kept wiping his face, but she couldn’t tell it if was sweat or tears or both. He did seem intent on digging up the entire yard.
This morning, while she was doing yoga, he’d gone out to whatever job he had lined up this morning. According to the cap on his truck, he was a handyman and as busy as he was, he must be good. Then the dark haired guy who worked for him showed up as he did most mornings, presumably to collect his assignment for the day. About eleven o’clock she’d discovered how wrong she was when Ryan returned and the screaming started.
Moving to the country was supposed to reduce her stress, not increase it.
Vicky sat down at her computer and opened up the running chat she had with Terri in the office. “Big fight this morning.”
“What happened?”
“My Landlord caught his girlfriend with the guy who works for him.”
“Really!?!?!”
“Other guy came running out of the house still pulling up his jeans, jumped in his truck and took off.”
“She’s not still there, is she?”
