Sharz hurries inside, then staring at Voknor’s image, grins as he replies, “It is good to hear your voice, Regent!”

Humanity’s fate, and very survival, is intertwined with the Gamin and Kord races, as Atlan aggression escalates to new levels. The alliance, which was formed out of necessity, is a new concept to the Gamin, and is a fragile thing. Kord scientists work alongside Gamin engineers as they repair and refit the Terran, while all humanity can do is provide resources and accommodations, as they wait to see what fate and destiny has in store for them.
New Earth colony is left to fend for itself when the Gamin forces depart, taking their entire fleet with them. The engineers who remain, not only continue to repair the Terran, they work tirelessly to produce new craft, to replace their recent losses. The Kord engineers openly share their technology, allowing the Terran, and all new Gamin spacecraft, to received impressive upgrades and enhancements to their shields, main engines, and power systems. The Kord incorporate a few experimental upgrades into the Terran, but keep these enhancements a secret, hoping to pleasantly surprise the crew.
Once the Terran is fully repaired, they plan to return to Earth, to look for survivors, and then go back to Oglan, to pick up the team that was left behind.
