“Yes, we keep them all,” the photographer replied.

“Have you got a card I can take? I may like to order another larger copy of this, but I’ll decide when I get home.”

“Certainly. Here you go and have a great evening.”

  “Thank you.”

Ali was waiting at the door, ready to escort Flick down the stairs to the car. There was another bottle champagne in the car. Flick was looking forward to having a beer tomorrow. She loved champagne and was going to drink it when on offer. But she was beginning to get fed up with it all the time.

They cuddled against each other in the back of the car all the way to the venue Ali had chosen. Flick sat up at the sight of a massive country estate.

“Where are we, darling, and why are we here?”

They joined a line of other cars waiting to drop their guests off.

Ali pulled her close and whispered in her ear, “welcome to Sandringham Castle.”

Flick’s mouth dropped open, as she realised this was one of the Queen’s estates. Finally they were allowed to get out of the car. Ali took Flick’s hand and hooked it through her arm. She found out where the concert was and led Flick to the makeshift arena. She told one of the staff their names and they were shown to their seats. Ali had got them a box to the left of the stage. A waiter appeared and asked for their drinks order.

“I think I’ll have a vodka and tonic please,” said Flick

“I would like a brandy, and make them both doubles please.”

“Ali what are we here to see?”

“You’ll find out in a minute.”

The lights started to dim and Ali stood behind Flick. She lightly covered her eyes so she wouldn’t be able to see the stage. A gorgeous vision dressed in white, walked out to centre stage and started singing.

Flick heard a familiar voice. She had heard it many times before from her classical CD’s. It was Katherine Jenkins.

She pulled Ali’s hands away from her face and didn’t try to hide the shocked expression on her face. Ali retook her seat, and they sat together holding hands. Alison was pleased that Flick was enjoying herself. The joy was written all over her face. They were so close to the stage, they could see the detail in the Katherine’s dress.

“Good evening, everyone, and Happy Valentine’s Day,” said their gracious host. “I had the strangest thing happen today. Someone has actually asked my manager for a request. I don’t normally do them, as it’s hard to have everything I need. But I’ve agreed for tonight, seeing as it is Valentine’s Day. This aria is The Flower Duet. Unfortunately Dame Kiri can’t be with us, but I have bought something with me that has her part on it.”

She started to sing and Flick’s eyes instantly filled with tears. This was one of her favourite arias. Ali sat and stared at Flick, she wrapped an arm around her and Flick leaned back into her. After the aria had finished, the Katherine spoke again.

“Sorry, I forgot to mention who that was dedicated to. Is there a Felicity Bromwell in the audience?” Flick blushed and raised her hand, “the message is, Happy First Valentine’s Day, I love you forever and always. Ali.”

There was a round of applause and the spotlight landed on Ali and Flick. They waved and then said thank you.

Flick was dumb struck by the end of the concert. Ali produced two roses to give to the singer at the end of the night, she walked over and shook their hands and accepted the roses gladly.

They made the trip back to the cabin, wrapped up in two blankets one for their shoulders, the other for their legs. Flick cuddled up to Ali and fell asleep with a dreamy smile on her face. She was woke up when she was placed on the sofa.

“I’m sorry, darling, the last couple of days have just been so amazing. I think you’ve warn, me out. More emotionally than physically tonight.”

“You’re okay, sweetie. Let’s get out these clothes and go to bed, I’m just as tired as you are.”

They undressed in the bedroom and re-hung their clothes in the suit bags they’d come in.

Ali watched as Flick undressed. She was wearing a gorgeous red lace bra and panties.

“God, sweetheart, is there anything that you can’t wear, and be totally and utterly sexy? I just wish we weren’t so tired, I could fully enjoy you in them then.”

Flick went to Ali and kissed her. “Well if you’re a good girl, I may model it for you one night next week,” they crawled into bed together. Flick pulled Ali to her this time and kissed her.

“Thank you so much for the weekend, baby. It’s a shame I’m so tired, I really want to make love to you, but I just haven’t got any energy. We’re back to reality tomorrow, and I don’t want to miss an opportunity to make love to you.”

“Baby, we don’t always have to make love. I’m content with having you in bed with me. I know we go back to reality tomorrow, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be able to have a sex life. We can buy some locks and a Do Not Disturb sign for the bedroom door. We take what we can get. Then there is always after the kids have gone to bed.”

Flick laughed and pulled Ali closer. “You really are the, sweetest woman, in the world, and I truly love you, Ali Macguire.”

But Ali didn’t answer, she was already asleep. Flick kissed her head and then let sleep claim her too.

  Chapter Fifteen

They planned to leave early on Sunday. But they’d overslept. They didn’t leave until 9:30 a.m. Ali was blaming Flick. She had woke her up at 4:00 a.m. to make love. They fell back to sleep about 6:00 a.m. Ali woke at 8:00 a.m. and started running around like a lunatic, packing everything up. They took a quick shower and then headed to check out.

They estimated that it would take them about three hours to get to Alton Towers. Ali looked at Flick, who was as tired as she was, but God it had been worth it. Ali didn’t think she had ever had so many orgasms in the space of three days. She had lost count, but it was a lot. Flick was great in bed, she had the sexual appetite of someone who had been, starved of physical intimacy for years. Flick had actually admitted that she was like a wild woman with Ali. She hadn’t known what had gotten into her. But Ali liked it and told her so.

They reached Alton Towers at 11:45 a.m. Marion had phoned three times already. She had already paid their admittance and Claude was going to meet them outside the main entrance with the tickets. They got out of the car and held hands as they walked across the car park. Ali spotted Claude at his car an called out to him. He was loading toys into the boot.

“Please tell me those aren’t all Annabelle’s. We haven’t got enough room for all her other ones,” Flick said with a laugh.

Claude turned to them and gave them both a kiss on the cheek, “you guys are looking very relaxed. Good weekend?”

“Yes, thank you, now where is Mum? She’s been like a rabid dog trying to get me to put my foot down.”

“Yep, that sounds like your Mother. She is having a blast with the girls. I must tell you, Flick, those girls are something else. They’re very special.”

Flick flushed with pride and Ali wrapped her arm around her shoulder. Flick again put her hand in Ali’s jeans pocket. They walked like this until they entered the park and found everyone. Belle saw them first. She ran to them, quickly followed by Chelsea. Belle ran straight to Ali and Chelsea at her Mum. Ali’s legs were targeted and Belle threw herself at them. Chelsea just hugged her Mum.

“My, did you miss us?” Flick asked as she hugged Chelsea.

She smiled as Ali picked Belle up and gave her a cuddle. Chelsea went and hugged her too. Marion quickly snapped a picture with her camera and then motioned for Flick to get in the picture too. Ali couldn’t resist, she stole a quick kiss just as the picture was taken.

“Turning me into a public spectacle are we?” Flick asked looking up into her eyes.

“Hardly. I just wanted a kiss.”

She set Belle down and they all headed towards the rides. Steph and Flick hung back so they could chat. They both filled each other in on the weekend’s events.
The girls had behaved themselves as usual, and Steph had spoiled them rotten.

Ali’s Mum walked next to her and started asking questions about their weekend, “so did you have a good time?”

“Yes, thank you. It was brilliant.”

“What did you do last night?”

“I took Flick to Sandringham to see Katherine Jenkins perform. It was spectacular, Mum.”

“Are you in love with her?”

“Yes, Mum. I’m so head over heels for that woman. I want everyone to know how much. I love the girls too, they are very special kids.”

“Good, I really like Flick, she is good for you, and so are the girls,” her Mum hugged her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Ali was surprised by the kiss and smiled at her Mum.

After a go on most of the rides, they all went in search of somewhere to sit while Claude bought drinks. Ali sat with her legs stretched out in front of her. Flick raised her eyebrow and Ali spread her legs so Flick could sit between them and lean back into her. Again Marion’s camera came out and she snapped pictures of them. They sat and talked about the gifts they’d given each other, and the outings they’d been on. Everyone had a sandwich, but didn’t want to fill up because of dinner tonight.

“It’ll be nice to have a full house for once.”

They went on some more rides and even went back to some of their favourites. The girls were having a blast.

They left the park at 4:30 p.m. and started their journey back to London. The girls and Steph insisted on going back with Marion and Claude. It would give Flick and Ali an extra couple of hours alone. Ali used the power of her car to get ahead of the others. She exited the motorway and found somewhere safe to park. Once parked she turned in her seat and kissed Flick.

  “What’s that for?”

“I haven’t kissed you for what seems like hours.”

Flick laughed and kissed her back, “we need to get home, baby, I’m starving and tired. Can we have a kiss and cuddle in bed tonight?”

  “You bet.”

Ali started the car and headed back towards the motorway. She too was exhausted. The girls also seemed really knackered, and Ali would be surprised if they didn’t fall asleep in the car on the way home.

They arrived back in Ali’s courtyard, and ran inside to get the girls presents in, before they could see them. They had been spoilt enough today, thanks to Marion, Steph and Claude. Next were their bags, which Ali took straight upstairs. Flick was right behind her, wanting to get something out of her holdall. She rummaged around for the picture taken at the hotel.

“This is for you. Can we go find somewhere to put it?”

Ali kissed her quickly and took her hand and led her back downstairs. They decided that the picture should go on, one of the occasional tables next to the sofa. Everyone could see it from there.

Suddenly the house erupted in noise, the others had arrived. They went about ordering dinner, they all settled on a pizza or fish and chips. Once the picture had been discovered it took over the topic of their conversation.

“You look beautiful, Flick, Did you only get the one copy?” Marion asked.

“Yes, but the photographer keeps all his negatives so we can order another, if you like.”

“That would be wonderful. I’d like to have a professional picture of just the two of you. Perhaps we could even get some done of us all.”

  “That’s a great idea, Marion.”

The conversation dropped as the food was delivered. The poor girls were too exhausted to each a lot, but Flick kept after them. If they ate it would mean they wouldn’t wake up early because they were hungry.

After eating, the girls went to have a shower, and get their pj’s on. Steph was laughing and joking with Marion.

“Guys, would you be really upset if I went to bed, I’m so tired after all that driving today?”

“You go on ahead, Alison, we can keep ourselves entertained.”

“I’ll sort the girls out and then join you. I’ve decided they’re not going to school tomorrow, we can all sleep in. Would you like a brandy to take to bed with you, sweetie?”

“You’re a, Goddess Flick, thank you.”

Ali used the shower in her en suite and then climbed into bed. Flick was in the room within ten minutes. The girls were stopping up with Marion for a little while. She didn’t mind putting them to bed. Flick handed Ali their drinks and then rummaged in her holdall for the negligee Ali was yet to see. She changed and then crawled into bed with Ali. They drank their drinks while enjoying a hug. They kissed each other good night, and whispered I love you to each other, then they fell asleep snuggled together under the duvet.

  ###

Ali awoke to banging on her bedroom door. They had only been asleep for an hour. She heard her Mum’s voice and shook Flick’s shoulder until she woke.

“Mum sounds frantic,” she said to Flick. “Come in, Mum,” she called out.

“You two need to come downstairs, now!”

  “What’s wrong?” Flick asked.

“Chelsea has fallen, and really hurt her leg.”

They jumped out of bed, found dressing gowns and ran to the living room.

“What happened?” Flick said as she went to Chelsea and held her.

“We were coming down the stairs after getting some stuff from our bags. She was about four stairs from the bottom and she fell over her own feet,” said a tearful Belle. Ali went to her and picked her up for a hug.

“Right okay, we can’t move her, I don’t like the look of her leg. I’m going to call an ambulance, get someone to come and check it out.”

“Claude has already phoned one darling,” Marion said.

Poor Claude was as white as a sheet, Ali poured him a large whiskey and told him to drink it. He had carried Chelsea in from the foot of the stairs.

There was a knock on the door and Steph went to answer it, “the Paramedics are here guys!”

One of the paramedic’s looked at Chelsea’s leg. He confirmed it was broken and they would need to splint her leg to transport her to hospital. When they went to get everything they needed from the ambulance, Flick and Ali went to get changed. Marion sat with a crying Chelsea and held her upper body in her arms. Ali knew that it was going to hurt Chelsea badly when they straightened it. She told Flick what she knew, and they broke the world record time for getting dressed. Chelsea was going to need her Mum to get through it.

Twenty minutes later the paramedics were ready to leave. Chelsea was high on nitrous oxide, which was a good thing as it meant she wasn’t in that much pain. She just kept laughing all the time. Flick got in the ambulance, and Ali followed behind in the car. It was 10:30 p.m. and Ali was wondering how long they would be at the hospital. Bang goes their early night, but Chelsea was the only one who mattered right now.

After four sets of x-rays, a Doctor announced that Chelsea had indeed broken her leg. The only thing they could do was to put it in plaster, and send her home with painkillers and crutches. Chelsea had to be able to walk up and down the stairs, using the crutches before they would let her go home. It took her an hour to get the hang of it, but they were finally allowed to go. It was 3:00 a.m. Flick had to sit in the back of the car while Chelsea sat in the front with her bulky cast.

When they walked into the house, Marion and Claude were still awake. They rushed to Chelsea and each gave her a kiss and a cuddle.

“Glad you’re home, kiddo,” said Claude

“So am I, sweetie,” Marion gave her another cuddle.

“Is there anything you need Chels?” Ali asked.

“No. I’m really tired thanks to the painkillers they gave me. Can I just go to bed?”

“Yep. I’ll bring you a glass of water up, and a bell you can use to call one of us if you need to. We can sleep with the bedroom door open so just shout or use the bell.”

They all walked up the stairs behind Chelsea. Marion and Claude went to the bedroom they were using. Steph had ended up sharing a r
oom with Belle. It meant that Chelsea had access to an en-suite bathroom and toilet. Ali and Flick got Chelsea settled and raised her leg with pillows as the Doctor had instructed them to. After giving Chelsea a kiss and a long hug, both women went back to bed and fell into a deep sleep straight away. They hadn’t even changed into their nightclothes.

The next morning they were awoken with a start as Belle jumped on the bed.

“Come on, lazy bones, its 10 a.m. and time to get up.”

Flick immediately ran into Chelsea’s room. She wasn’t there, she ran downstairs and saw Chelsea on the sofa, in the living room off the kitchen playing a video game. She went and hugged her, “any pain?”

“A little but it’s easing now.”

“Why didn’t you call me in the night, I would have come straight away?”

“I didn’t want to wake you. You and Ali were so tired last night. I’m surprised you didn’t fall asleep standing up. Auntie Maz took care of me. She only had to come in twice.”

Flick looked at Marion who smiled at her. She walked over to her and kissed her on the cheek, “thank you so much, Marion, I’m so grateful.”

“No worries. You take care of my baby, so let me take care of yours when I’m here.”

Ali walked into the kitchen. She had been watching from the doorway, “Well it’s nice when your girlfriend gives your Mum a morning kiss before you get one.” she said with a laugh

Flick went to her and kissed her on the mouth, “your Mum is a darling. She got up and tended to Chelsea in the night, so we could sleep.”

  “Thanks, Mum.”

Flick went back upstairs to shower and change. Ali started on making a full English breakfast for everybody.

Flick and Ali were cleaning up after breakfast, when there was a knock on the door, everyone looked at each other. Ali slapped her head. “Shit! I’d forgot that was coming today.”

Marion answered the door to a guy dressed in a suit. “How can I help you?”

  “Is Felicity Bromwell in please?”
