He watched her. She wondered what he saw, what he felt, when he looked at her like that.

“I know that you could kill me now; probably twenty different ways. Yet I told you the truth. I trust you Arianna,” he continued. “Do you want me to go get rope?”

“No.” Her hand moved up his chest to his shoulder. She straddled his hips, and leaned toward him. “You’re very handsome, you know?”

He laughed and said, “Thanks. I’ve been told that.”

“I’m sure you have.” She closed her eyes, leaned forward, and licked his ear. He sighed deeply. Her breasts were right against his chest. She kissed his neck, his shoulder, and down to his nipple.

“I’ve never let anyone do this,” he moaned. “You’re the first.”

Her tongue lapped at the light pink bud. He inhaled sharply. She licked circles around it, and it became tighter and harder. Her hand moved from his shoulder to his other nipple, and his chest shook. She sucked on it and he moaned. His hips began to wiggle under her. “You’ve never had a blow job?”

“No,” he sighed. She believed him. And she smiled. She found his lips then, and coaxed them apart.

“Give me your tongue,” she urged. He placed it between his teeth, and she sucked it into her mouth. She pinched both his nipples, and his hips thrust against her. She pulled away suddenly, and gazed down at him. His tongue was still extended, his eyes half closed, and his arms over his head. What a beautiful image, she mused. “When I take your cock in my mouth, it’s going to be a million times better than that.” And then she smiled and returned to his nipple.

“Why don’t you just do it then,” he begged. “Please.”

She chuckled softly as her hands trailed up and down, over his stomach and rib cage. He shivered from deep inside his body. She wanted to get in just the right amount of teasing before she teased his dick with her tongue. Oh, how she was going to make him suffer.

When he was begging incoherently, she wiggled down the bed. She dipped her tongue into his belly button and he jumped of the bed. She eventually pulled off his shorts, and his thick phallus twitched. “I don’t think you like this teasing much, do you?” He groaned loudly, and she laughed again.

She licked lightly, up and down it. His hands found her hair and held her there. Then she grabbed it tight at the base, and he cried out. It was so thick she couldn’t touch her thumb to her forefinger. In contrast to his white skin the head was light pink like his nipples, and his pretty lips. She circled the head with her tongue, and he pulled her hair tighter. “What are you doing to me?” He growled.

“Just a little revenge,” she said, then flicked her tongue against the hole.

“Fuck!” He screamed out. It was the first time she’d heard him curse. He was obviously dirtier than he looked. She opened up to take in just the head. “Fuck me now Arianna.”

But she didn’t. She slowly took in as much as she could, until he was swearing repeatedly. He grabbed her shoulders and jerked her away. When he did, she landed flat on her back. He attacked her mouth, forcing his tongue into it. He suddenly didn’t know how sweatpants worked, and kept trying to unbutton them. “Fuck, get them off,” he ordered as he sat back and pulled off his shorts.

“Don’t you want to tease me a little,” she wondered as she slowly pulled her sweatpants down.

“No, I want to get inside you.” He assaulted her mouth again, and reached for her hips. She barely got her sweats off her ankles before he shoved into her. It was her turn to cry out, but his mouth muffled the sound.

He arched his back and pushed his thick, hard cock into her. He pulled away from her mouth to gaze down at her. Pleasure filled his glowing eyes. “Lick my nipples again,” he ordered. She bent forward, wrapped her arms around his waist to steady herself, and licked the sensitive buds. “Oh, fuck that feels amazing,” he said in his sing-song voice. “God you’re incredible.”

Her hands moved down to his cheeks and kneaded. His body shuddered, and the noise he made was primal. He came inside her, his orgasm lasted several minutes as he grunted and shivered. And then he fell onto her, his cheek pillowed on her breast. “I’ve never felt that before,” he sighed. But he didn’t need to tell her, it was obvious.

She basked in the feeling of power for only a moment, until she remembered the secret he shared with her earlier. She would continue to play along, but she knew she couldn’t be happy with him again. She now had to bide her time and hope that Vince found her soon, before she slipped up and said something that made him angry. She didn’t know if he was capable of killing someone himself, and she didn’t want to find out.

He fell asleep on top of her, whispering calming words. It was a role she was sure he was used to.

“SIB, what’s the progress on the phone number,” Jordan asked again. Sam brought lunch and played word games on his tablet. It was Saturday, and he really had nowhere to be. He would sacrifice his time to grow closer to Jordan; because that meant getting closer to Arianna.

“I have searched 99.9 percent of the cell towers in the world. I have not located the call.” That was not what Jordan wanted to hear, but it was what he feared.

“Why don’t you ask Tremblay where she is if you’re so sure he has her,” Sam suggested.

“We have no idea where he is, either,” Jordan reminded him.

“He has to come back to the hotel, right? I mean, all his clothes were there.” Sam couldn’t believe he’d thought of something the super-genius hadn’t. It made him feel smart.

“You’re right,” Jordan sighed. “Would you take me home? I don’t want to be here anymore.”

Sam nodded and stood, and Jordan followed. “We’ll find her, I know we will.” He wrapped his arm around Jordan’s shoulder.

“I’m not so sure,” Jordan frowned, and followed Sam.

At 6 am Vince’s phone rang. His hands were swollen and hurt like hell, and he groaned, “What?”

“Sam had a brilliant idea earlier,” Jordan said as he cut vegetables for a salad. “You’re on speaker. I’ll let him explain it.”

“Hi Vince. Listen, I was wondering if you could question Tremblay when he returns to Hong Kong.” Vince tried to move his hand and winced. Sam must have heard him, because he scoffed. “It’s not that bad an idea.”

“You’re right, it’s not,” Vince agreed. “I’ll try to arrange it with the authorities here. But doesn’t he have diplomatic immunity?”

“Not really, he’s a member of DHS, not the diplomatic corps. But either way, you can question him. He doesn’t have to answer without an attorney, but you can ask him anything.” At least Sam was useful at times. Vince couldn’t complain.

“What’s for dinner,” Vince wondered. He could hear the chopping in the background.

  “Quiche and salad,” Jordan replied.

“Sounds great,” Vince sighed. “I’ll contact you when I know something.”

“I’ll be watching for Tremblay at the airports,” Jordan stated.

“I know,” Vince said as he ended the call.

Arianna sat on the deck of the hut and watched the sunrise. It happened over the other side of the island, but she could still see the changes in the color of the sky. It was breathtaking.

Kosum brought coffee and woke them up. Damien slept curled up around her all night, and if she tried to wiggle away he held her tighter. He kissed her often in his sleep. How could such a monster be so affectionate?

He sat beside her, holding her hand and grinning at her. She smiled back at him. “It’s beautiful,” Arianna sighed, and looked up at Damien through half closed eyelids.

“You’re beautiful, that’s just the sky,” Damien smiled back at her.

“Thank you,” she said softly. She placed her other hand over his, and rubbed the back of his hand, up his forearm and back down.

“I think you want to get fucked again,” Damien supposed.

She bit her lip as she gazed at him. She knew Vince loved that. Damien inhaled sharply when he s
aw it. What was it with men and that one tiny little movement? “Is it that obvious?”

“Sure is,” he sighed as he reached over to kiss her. “Come over here and sit in my lap, chouchou.” They were both as naked as the sky surrounding them and the ocean beneath them. She looked blissful as she crawled out of her chair and into his arms.

“What does it mean?” She wondered as she stared into his eyes.

“Chou?” He smiled wickedly at her. “It means cabbage.” She stared at him doubtfully as his fingers lazily found her nipples.

“Why would you call me cabbage?” With his intense eyes and his fingers on her body the words came out as a purr.

“It’s an endearment,” he shrugged. “Chouchou means you’re my beloved.” His lips found her nipple, and she groaned. “Put your hands on me, amour. Show me you want me.”

Sadly she did want him. Her hands went out to his chest, down his ribcage to his stomach. His muscles jumped at her touch. It was more than obvious how much he wanted her. Her hands found it, and he inhaled. “Take it inside you.”

She spread her legs, closed her eyes, and arched her back. His tongue moved down her cleavage to her breastbone. Her lips quivered as his huge package stretched her and filled her. “You feel like home,” he whispered. “I want to stay inside you forever.” She shivered at the words, so strong and sure. “You feel like love.”

She bent down to kiss him, and her arms wrapped around his neck to bring him closer. This man she knew was dangerous to her sanity. She felt the moment he reached his orgasm. She wanted to stop, but he wouldn’t let her. He continued to kiss her, and grabbed her hips to keep her moving on him. His hips thrust into her, and before she could ask what he was doing she felt her insides tighten. Only when her muscles clenched around him, then contracted with her climax, did he allow her to stop.

She rested her head on his shoulder, and he caressed her hair and her back. “Chouchou,” he said gently.

“May I have a glass,” Jordan asked when Sam opened a bottle of wine.

“Only one,” Sam said as he poured a glass. “I don’t want you drunk and hitting on me again.” He was teasing, of course. But Jordan took it the wrong way and frowned into the glass. “I’m not serious. You can hit on me anytime.”

“Will you take me up on the offer?” Sam could see the hidden desire in Jordan’s eyes. He didn’t know Jordan Stewart before Arianna’s arrest, but he knew that Jordan didn’t seem like the type to be hitting on people, men or women. Maybe he likes me, Sam thought as he sipped his wine. Or maybe he just misses Arianna that much.

“Maybe.” Sam tried to sound flirty. Jordan smiled, so he guessed it worked. “If you keep cooking dinner for me.”

Vince arranged to use an interrogation room at the local police department. He also spoke to Dutton, who told Vince it was a bad idea to question one of his deputies. But he didn’t strictly forbid it. “Just question him,” Dutton stated. “And if he says he doesn’t know anything let it drop.”

“Thanks,” Vince replied. “I will do as you ask.” After he got off the phone he returned to the gym and ran on the treadmill. He ran for five miles and didn’t even feel winded. He had one thought driving him: destroying Damien Tremblay.

  Chapter Twelve

Arianna stood up and stretched. Damien wasn’t a bad lover, after she got him over the whole I’m going to tease you forever idea. And he wasn’t hard to look at. And he wasn’t mean. All of those things would make her decision easier, she told herself. Damien stood up as well, wrapped his arms around her waist, and kissed her cheek.

“You, ma fille, are amazing,” he whispered to her. Then he climbed up onto the banister surrounding the deck, and dove into the water. She leaned over it and watched him as he swam under the water for several seconds, then resurfaced about twenty feet from the deck. “Come on in, the water is fantastic.”

She didn’t doubt what he said, but she still remembered the sharks they saw the night before. She shook her head, but something inside her wanted to join him.

“There’s never been a shark attack near the island, I swear,” he said as he swam closer. “It’s perfectly safe.” She sighed, and shook her head again. “You don’t trust me.” She wondered how many times she’d hear those words in the future if she kept giving in to them.

Still she climbed up on the railing as she’d watched him do, closed her eyes, and dove. She didn’t go very deep into the water, and quickly resurfaced. He paddled toward her, as he had done in the pool. But this time he grabbed her and held her close against his body. He kissed her fiercely, lovingly, passionately. And when he pulled away he laughed out loud. The sky was gold, and so was the water around them.

“I’m not the best swimmer,” she admitted.

“I’ll hold you,” he said as he swam backwards and somehow carried her with him so that she practically floated on her stomach. “I’ll always hold you.”

They played in the water until Kosum brought their food and sat it on the table on the deck. “Hello!” Arianna called out as she waved from the water. “Thank you!”

Kosum waved back, and called out to them, then disappeared into the hut.

“She likes you,” Damien said. Arianna smiled brightly. “I like you.” Then he kissed her again. “Let’s go eat.”

Vince sat in the lobby at noon waiting on Damien Tremblay to return. The run didn’t help his mood. He was tense, on edge. Not because he was afraid to question Tremblay. No, because he was afraid he would beat the shit out of him. He was never good at controlling his emotions, especially his anger. He just hoped he could do it when he had Tremblay in the box.

They showered together after they ate. He kissed her with such intensity; almost like Vince. He kissed her often too, in the ocean, during breakfast, in the shower. He was making it hard for her to hate him.

Kosum left clothes for both of them, picking out a pretty pink sundress for Arianna. “So what are we going to do today,” she asked as they returned to the deck after they dressed.

“Let’s go fishing off the pier,” Damien suggested.

“Do I really want to catch what I was swimming with earlier?”

“We’ll get the cook to make what we catch for lunch.” He said it as if that made it more tempting.

“As long as it’s not sushi,” she relented.

“After lunch I have to go back to Hong Kong. Will you be okay here?” Arianna nodded. “You can have the upstairs bedroom starting tonight. It has satellite TV with all of the American channels. Maybe you won’t be bored, alone in bed.”

“But you won’t be there with me,” she pouted perfectly.

“I’ll be back tomorrow evening, okay?” She nodded, but her bottom lip still stuck out, and she looked down at the sand as they walked toward the pier.

“Oh, don’t act that way mon petit chou, or I’ll never be able to concentrate during the meetings.” He cupped her chin and brought her head up to kiss her. “God, you have me spellbound.” She looked into his eyes and knew it was true. And she smiled.

Vince happened to glance up as Damien Tremblay strolled through the front door of the hotel. He looked relaxed, comfortable, as if nothing was wrong anywhere in the world. He looked like a man who just had a weekend full of awesome sex; Vince knew. His heart stopped when he thought Damien’s partner could have been Arianna. He wasn’t sure if he could question the man, thinking… knowing…

But the man glanced at him as he approached, and he smirked. He smirked at Vince. Vince stood and pulled out his badge, a reaction that was burnt into his brain. “Damien Tremblay?” Vince’s voice was gravelly as he asked.

  “Yes,” Damien replied coolly.

“My name is Special Agent Vince Argento. I’m investigating the disappearance of Agent Arianna Becker. I’d like to ask you a few questions.”

“I’d be happy to answer your questions, with a lawyer present,” Damien said gracefully. He motioned to a bellhop, and handed the young man his bag. “Take this up to 846,
please,” Damien requested. Then he took several bills out of his pocket and handed it over to the young man. “Thanks so much.”

Then he turned back to Vince. He looked smug. He smiled at Vince, with an emotion in his blue-green eyes that made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. His eyes were filled with hate and defiance.

“Come with me, please,” Vince said as he led Tremblay back out the front door and to the car. “Watch your head,” he said as he assisted Tremblay into the back seat.

“Thanks,” Damien said sarcastically. Vince wanted to punch him already.

They didn’t speak as they drove toward the police station. Thankfully it was a short drive. Vince glanced up into the mirror several times. Tremblay stared back at him with that same damn smug expression.

When they arrived at their destination Vince assisted him out of the car. Then they walked inside together. The pair drew attention. Vince was so dark, Damien so white. Both men were about the same height; Damien a little shorter, Vince was a little heavier. Vince wondered if Damien could fight. He hoped so.

He asked the desk officer if the room was open. He got a nod as a response, and escorted Tremblay inside.

They sat down across from each other. They each sized the other up. Damien leaned back in his chair. He looked angelic, innocent almost. But Vince could see what he was trying to hide behind his eyes.

“I said I wouldn’t speak without a lawyer,” Damien spoke first.

Vince pulled his phone out of his pocket and slid it across the table. “Call one,” he challenged.

“Thanks,” Damien said as he gazed at it. They both knew he’d left his American phone in his hotel room. “But I have my own.” He dialed a number programmed into his phone, for his assistant back in DC. Of course it wasn’t the same phone Arianna used to call Jordan. That satellite phone was still on the island. “Call a lawyer for me in Hong Kong. I’m at the police station,” he said into the phone, then ended the call and shoved it into his pocket.
