And that man was Greg.
Light-hearted laughter erupted from her throat. She felt as if a great weight had been suddenly lifted off her shoulders. He had no idea she was learning and growing in these moments as she was being cradled in his secure embrace. She’d never felt such happiness.
He smiled, love shining bright in his gaze, and Jane felt her world grow as warm as sunshine. Laughter bubbled from her throat.
“You going to let me in on that joke?” he asked.
“Oh, there’s no joke,” she told him, sincerely, shaking her head. “I’m laughing because I’m happy. and I’m happy because I realize how much I love you.” After a pause, she softly added, “I love you more than words can say.”
His smile widened to a sexy grin that nearly stole away her breath. “Does this mean you’ll marry me?”
Now it was her turn to toss him a flirty grin. “You’d better believe it.”
He shouted in utter delight, rolling her back onto the bed, his mouth covering hers with an ardent kiss that promised a forever of happiness and joy.
