Thug Paradise 3: Forever Thuggin

“If he doesn't have her then who does?” I looked at Tahari like she had lost her mind.
“So you believe that motherfucker now!”
“I hate his ass but I also know him like a book. He doesn’t have her.”
“Oh yeah I forgot, you know his eyes. They tell his soul. Fuck outta here with that bullshit!”
“Really Ka’Jaire?”
“Let me make some shit real clear because obviously your ass is suffering from Stockholm syndrome, believing some shit your fucking captor is saying out of his mouth. I don’t give a fuck what he says. He is guilty period. Now either your ass is on the same page as me or you can leave out this bitch with him, since you know his eyes so well. If that was the case your ass would have known we weren’t killing the right motherfucker.” I didn’t mean to go there but she was pissing me off. I walked away and left her ass standing there looking stupid. I refused to pacify her ass right now. I’m still lost as to how in the hell Khiandre got shot. My nigga, Dro, is fucked up right now. He loves that little boy. That shit hurt me hearing him cry about him getting shot. I swear, no matter where we go, drama is waiting for us. It’s cool though because we know how to handle that shit. I made a phone call to the rest of my crew to get up here to Emory ASAP. I want this bitch surrounded. That nigga will not be walking up out this motherfucker free and clear. Even if he doesn’t have my daughter, he violated my wife and I’m not about to let that shit ride. Not to mention he’s testing my motherfucking gangsta. Laying these hands on his ass ain’t enough. He thinks this shit is a joke. I got to fill that nigga up with some hot shit.
“Did the doctor come out yet?” I asked as I went back and sat down next to Dro.
“Not yet. I can’t believe her ass did this shit.” Dro kicked the chair over that was in front of us.
“What are you talking about?
“Man, Khia did this shit to my little mans. She was trying to shoot me. She never seen him run towards me until it was too late.”
“Fuck!” I said as I saw the police coming towards us. At the same time, Khia walked off of the elevators.
“Where the fuck that nigga at?” Dro said as he jumped up and got in her face.
“The doctor convinced him to get his face checked out; they think his nose is broken.”
“Are you really that fucking naïve, Khia? How could you let him out of your sight without letting us know?”
“I’m so sorry Dro. I really wasn’t thinking.”
“You damn right your ass wasn’t thinking. You that mad about me talking to some bitch on the phone that you would try to kill me? Our son is lying back there fighting for his life because you shot him by mistake. I swear I could murder your ass right now! You better hope he makes it or I’m fucking you up, stupid ass bitch!”
“It was a mistake.”
“Get your hands off of me. Don’t fucking touch me. As a matter of fact, go find your husband Mrs. Douglass.” Dro forcibly removed her hands from off of him and walked out of the hospital.
“Oh my God! It was a mistake! It was a mistake!”
“Calm down Sis. Tahari gone stay here with you. The rest of the girls are on their way here. Call me as soon as they let you know what’s going on. Are you strapped Ta-baby?”
“Locked and loaded.”
“That’s what’s up. Call me if you need me. I love you, you know that right?”
“Of course I do. Be safe. I’ll keep you posted. Try to calm Dro down. He’s on the verge of catching a Boss Lady beat down.”
“You’ve been nothing but good to me Thug. I want Nico dead just like everybody else. Please don’t kill him just yet. The doctor told us he might need to donate more blood if needed.”
“I got you Sis.” I walked away because there was no guarantee that I wasn’t going to murk this motherfucker. As soon as I made it out of the entrance, Dro was out front waiting on me. I hopped in his car and we pulled away.
“I understand you’re mad, but right now is not the time to lash out. That’s your wife and she needs you right now.” Dro handed me the blunt he had flamed up and I took a couple of pulls.
“I know I’m just so mad at her ass. Between Khia and Brittany, I don’t know who is crazier. This bitch, Brittany, talking about she’s on her way out here. That’s why I was on the phone with her ass in the crib, trying to talk her silly ass out of coming.”
“All I got to say is Brittany don’t want no problems over this way. I advise you to get up in her head and let her know. The bitches we married play for keeps.”
“I’m already knowing. All Khia needed to do was wait and let me explain this shit. I don’t know what I’m going to do if he don’t make it. This shit is all my fault.”
“Khiandre is a soldier. He’s going to pull threw my nigga.” As we drove out into traffic, I spotted the nigga, Nico, in the distance getting into a Bentley.
“You see what I see?”
“Hell yeah. I’m on that ass.” Dro weaved in and out traffic. The closer we got up on the car. I could see the plates and it read “Monae1.” I rubbed my hands like Birdman. This nigga was about to take me exactly to where he was laying his head at. We had already searched the house where he had Tahari held. The bitch had been cleaned completely out, so I knew by following this nigga, he would lead me to my Baby girl.
Chapter 12- Monae
Living in a Nightmare
I should have followed my first mind and stayed my ass in Chicago. Life was so much better for me and Nicaria, when Nico’s ass was supposedly dead. I fainted when I woke up and this nigga was lying in my bed. I should have run far away from his ass. After all of these years, he still has an effect on me. Our daughter is so happy to have her father in her life, and I’m happy that he treats her like a Princess. Of course, I’m still the one who catches the short end of the stick. I hate that I let this nigga get back in my head. Nico is still a ruthless nigga. Ain’t shit changed about him but the cash flow. That nigga is paid now. I’m loving this Bentley he copped for me. Every time I turn around he’s buying me something nice. Our daughter and I want for nothing. It was him who convinced me to move out here, but I rarely see him. The only time I see him is when he needs me to do something or when he wants to fuck. I already booked me a one-way flight back to the Chi. I’m starting to feel like some shit is brewing. This nigga has two bullet holes in him already and now he looks like Martin when Tommy Hearns beat his ass.
“What the hell happened to you, Nicario?”
“Don’t ask me no questions Monae. Just drive the motherfucking car and shut your dick suckers!” See, this the shit I’m talking about. His ass is straight disrespectful. I guess this is the best time to let him know I’m going back home.
“Where you want me to drop you off at? I need to get home so I can pack our things.”
“What the fuck you mean pack?”
“I’m going back to the Chi tomorrow. You promised me that things were going to be different. How the fuck are we a couple again if I never see you? You treat me like shit and I’m just not feeling the disrespect. If I had known things would be this way, I would have steered clear of your ass. You still an ‘ain’t shit’ ass nigga. I know you got a bitch out here that’s why I get the short end of the stick. I deserve better Nico. I’m not that same sixteen year old girl I used to be. I’m game to all of your bullshit. Funny thing about that is you don’t even care. I just feel sorry for our daughter because she worships the ground you walk on.”
“You finished talking now?”
“Yeah, I’ve said my peace.”
“Good. Now pull over on this next side street.” I did what he said without questioning it. I just wanted to get rid of his ass quick, fast, and in a hurry.
WHAM! WHAM!
“I see you forgot who the fuck running this shit. Don’t you ever in your motherfucking life book a flight without my permission. You not taking my daughter nowhere. Now what you gone do is take your ass home to the house that I bought. In the meantime, open
your mouth and put this dick in it. I said shut your dick suckers up but you kept talking. Open wide and you bet not bite my shit.”
“I can’t.” As soon as I opened my mouth, blood spilled out everywhere. I had to hold my hand up to my mouth to keep the blood from flowing, but it was seeping through my fingers.
“Let that be the reason why you think twice before fucking with me. Now drop me off at the condo and take your ass straight to the crib. Your ass better be there when I come through. I have some shit I need to handle real quick.”
WHAM!
“That’s just in case you think I’m playing with your bitch ass.” Tears streamed down my face as I headed towards his condo. My lips were so swollen I couldn’t keep the blood from seeping out. It was just falling all over my clothes. Once we made it, I sat there waiting for him to get out.
“Just in case you feeling a little courageous, I have cameras throughout the whole house. Don’t fuck with me Monae. Now give Daddy a kiss.” I reached over and kissed him on the lips. He exited the car and I headed to the house. I had no idea how I was going to get back to the Chi. Once I made it to the house, I paid the babysitter and she left. Nicaria was already asleep, so I cleaned myself up. After taking a hot bath, I walked out of the bathroom and was met by two gunmen pointing weapons in my face. I knew it was the wrong time to be admiring these men, but they were sexy as fuck.
“What the fuck are you doing in my house?”
“Are you Monae Douglass?” the sexier of the two asked. I felt like I knew him from somewhere, but I just couldn’t put my finger on it at the moment.
“I’m Monae Carter. Douglass is just an alias I use from time to time,” I stuttered as I wrapped my towel tighter around my body.
“You’re just the person I’ve been looking for. Get dressed, you’re coming with me.”
“Please don’t hurt me. My daughter is in the next room.”
“Oh yeah. You hear this shit Bro? Go grab the little princess. This shit just got better.” I started to cry and scream.
“Please don’t hurt my daughter. Let me call her Dad. He’ll pay you whatever you want. Just please let us go.”
“Call that bitch ass nigga and put him on speakerphone.” He handed me my phone off of the bed and I dialed Nico.”
“You must want me to hit you in your shit again calling me?” I got ready to say something but the gunman snatched the phone out of my hand. At the same time, the other gunman was walking back in the bedroom with Nicaria.
“My man Nico. Fucking with my wife and seed was the ultimate no-no. You know that saying an eye for an eye. Yeah, this that type of situation. When I get my daughter back you get yours back. Your bitch pretty as shit. I think I’ll get my little niggas to rape her like you did my wife. I would test it out myself, but the way my wife is set up, that shit wouldn’t be smart on my part. Get at me my nigga. Tell Daddy bye.” He hung up before Nico could even respond.
“I don’t know what he did but we ain’t got shit to do with nothing.”
“You’re guilty by association. Let’s go!” The gunmen placed sacks over me and my daughter’s head and led us out of the house.
“I like this game, Mommy, it’s fun.” I cried harder because my daughter had no idea what was going on. At that moment, I wished I was back in Chicago. As soon as I thought about being back home, I remembered it was the infamous Thug. That nigga was known for being ruthless with his shit. I knew that he was married to Nico’s ex. They were like hood royalty. I couldn’t believe I hadn’t noticed him at first. I sobbed and held my baby tighter. I silently prayed that God would get us out of this situation. If not, I wished death upon Nico. A nigga like that doesn’t deserve to live.
Chapter 13- Tahari
Angel in Heaven
The doctor had finally came out and told us some news. The bullet had went in and out. In the process it damaged his spleen so it had to be removed. Other than that Khiandre would be okay. Khia was a wreck and there was nothing I could do or say to make her feel better. As a parent, I would probably kill myself knowing I shot one of my babies. Despite the wrongs that Khia has done in the past, she didn’t deserve all this bad luck. Khia had really turned into a beautiful person. I know how much she loves Dro, so for him to be treating her like this hurts me as well. Khia don’t deserve this at all. I swear Dro got one more time to disrespect her and that’s his ass, real talk.
The police questioned us about the shooting. I told the police we were just walking down the street and he was hit by a stray bullet. There was no way Khia could tell them that she shot him by mistake. They would book her ass anyway and she would definitely do some time. The last thing she needed was to be in jail.
I was glad Dro came back up to the hospital and stayed with Khia. I needed to get home. I was tired as hell. When I walked out of the hospital, Thug was standing outside of the car waiting for me. He looked good as hell in his all black. The strings on his wheat Timbs were hanging loosely. His all black Chicago fitted cap, was cocked just slightly. His diamonds shined so bright. I smiled as I walked towards him. He licked his lips lustfully and that made me get wet instantly. Thug made me feel like a schoolgirl in love. I never dreamed we would make it this far. At times, it’s been hell. Our good times outweigh our bad, though. No matter what happens, we get right back to our happy place. As long as I’m with him I know that everything will be okay. Thug opened the door for me and I slid in. I leaned over and made sure his door was unlocked. Only a real bitch would understand why I did that. No woman should ever sit in the passenger seat of a nigga’s car and don’t unlock the door for him. When Thug got in the car, he kissed me and he drove off. We were both quiet but the radio was on. I leaned back and listened to Monica’s “Superman” as it began play. I couldn’t help but sing the lyrics. I needed Thug to know just how I felt, although I was sure he knew that I loved him. I closed my eyes and let Monica take me to another place.
You’re my Superhero and you rock my world
If you show me how I can be your Supergirl
Give you super super love cause ya super super high
Give you more than a little bit give you everything I got
Do you think of me like I think of you
Hoping that what I feel is what you feeling too
I want to go through a few things to describe
Just what’s in my heart
There is no height that I won’t climb
There is no light that I won’t shine
There is no time that I won’t find
And I’m so glad I found this time tonight
I’m telling you
There’s no other place that I’d rather be
There is no other face that I would rather see
The way that you do me is something like a movie
Waking up to you is just like waking up to Superman
It’s a bird it’s a plane, yeah (Superman)
I can be your Lois Lane, yeah (Superman)
Supermannnn
There ain’t nothing you can do
I just want to be with you
and I hope you feel it too
Your my Superman
All of a sudden the radio stopped. I opened my eyes and Thug was staring right at me.
“How come you never told me you can sing?” I looked at his ass like he was crazy.
“Boy bye, I cannot sing.”
“I’m so serious Ta-Baby. Your voice is amazing. You have a beautiful voice, bae.”
“Stop playing Ka’Jaire. I was just singing because that song reminded me of how you make me feel.” I leaned over and kissed him so passionately.
“It’s always been my aim to make you feel loved, but you’ve always made it worth my while. You’ve held me down through it all. You’re my heart and soul. I feel like you saved me. Had I never met you, I would probably be six feet under. You came into my life and changed me. Despite my bullshit, you made me a better man. It’s crazy how you have me doing things I said I would never
do. I’m a thug ass nigga but you’re my weakness. I’m your Superman but you’re my Kryptonite. Without you and my kids, I’m nothing. I promise you we’re going to find our daughter.” Thug reached over and wiped my tears away.
“I love you so much.”
“I love you too. Let’s go in the house. I want you to hit those notes while I give you this Thug Passion.” I couldn’t do nothing but laugh at him, because he really was serious about me singing. As we made our way up to the door, there was a small box on the porch. As we got closer, Thug pulled his gun out and started to look around. I followed suit and pulled Ms. Pearlie out. We slowly walked all the way up on the porch. The box was open so we were able to look over in it.
“Nooooo!” I fell to my knees and reached inside the box and pulled my daughter’s lifeless body out. She was so cold. Someone took the time to dress her in an all-white with a pretty bow on her head.
“Fuck man!” Thug said as he collapsed next to me on the porch. He pulled her from my arms and just cradled her. I laid my head on his shoulders as I stroked her hair. I cried my heart out. How could someone be so cruel?
“Daddy is so sorry! Daddy is so sorry!” Thug cried the hardest that I’ve ever seen in my life.
“Oh my God!” We heard Momma Peaches say from behind us. She got her knees and wrapped her arms around us. She placed a kissed on her forehead. I couldn’t take it anymore I ran inside the house and upstairs to my bedroom. I collapsed on the floor and cried to the point that I made myself sick.
“What’s wrong Mommy?” Ka’Jaiyah said as I reached my arms out for her to come to me.
“I’m just a little sad.” I had to tell her that because the kids had no idea that I had another baby. Thug walked in the bedroom with his gun out and bloodshot eyes. When he saw Ka’Jaiyah he put it behind his back.
“Let me talk to Momma for a minute.”
“Okay Daddy.” He bent down and kissed her forehead. He had tears streaming down his face as he hugged her tight.
