“Can you do that? A show of loyalty to the Circle and the cause?” he pushed.

“The Vignola are an authority at a level like the Circle. If they call for my presence at a meeting I must comply. It’s the ways of the vampires. You have no authority to ask me to give up my heritage and my position with them,” Cable’t said.

“So you truly are not loyal to the Saint pack and their mates you share Alexandra with?” Cuppa pushed.

“He is loyal to us and we trust him. We will not force him to give up his culture and practices,” Preston said to them.

“Seems to me that perhaps Cable’t already controls the minds of these two packs, and maybe even takes from their blood. Could be the only reason he can walk in the daylight,” Libertin pushed.

An argument began to erupt amongst the Alphas and the Circle members until Claspen gained control again. “There will be no more meetings or events with the Vignola. As one of the head leaders of the Circle, I forbid it. Cable’t, because he is a vampire, can still go when summoned. The rest of you cannot.”

“How can you make that decision? Like your Circle, the Vignola want to know and ensure that I am loyal to them as a vampire. They have their insecurities as you do,” Cable’t said.

“Insecurities?” Libertin raised his voice and that sent the Circle once again into a turmoil. This continued for quite some time and they refused to back down. Cable’t and her mates would worry about tomorrow night later. Right now, their loyalties were being questioned and it seemed to her Libertin, Cuppa, and Solero were orchestrating the conflicts.

“What is the new information you wish to share with us in pursuit of the wolf behind the massacres and violence?” Claspen asked.

“Through our investigation and resources, we believe that the culprit behind many of the massacres and force mattings, besides creation of more rogues, comes from Knoll pack, and their new Alpha,” Comton stated.

Once again the room erupted in mumbled shock and the questions began to fly. They told the Circle about the evidence, and the conversations between the sorcerer and Ferdol more recently.

“Sorcerers, witches, demons, and warlocks? Perhaps a spell has been put on each of you, because the new Alpha of Knoll pack is modest and quiet. He has done nothing to indicate he even has the potential to cause such violence,” Cuppa stated.

“Besides that, the previous Alpha Vocarious’s own mate, Gazelle, accepted him as her mate, ensuring his acceptance with the people. No complaints from any members have arisen since his induction, nor does his pack seem to be growing at an increased rate,” Solero added.

“It is ludicrous and a means for them to take the attention off of their loyalties and what they surely must be up to. I call for an investigation into Keuric and Saint packs. That we send men and women there to live amongst them and question the people. Get the real answers. Even overlook their new system of bringing in the orphaned pack members. That in itself is insane. Anyone could be sneaking in there,” Libertin added. Which started another serious of accusations.

Alexandra was shocked and she really didn’t have much respect for this Circle or their means of investigating anything. They shouldn’t have mentioned Knoll pack and Roovio Gaines. Now he would be made aware of the accusations and more conflict would arise.

By the time all was said and done, Keuric and Saint packs had to adhere to the orders of the Circle. They could not engage in any meetings with Vignola or it would be seen as treason. They were not allowed to screen in orphaned wolves from other packs destroyed by whomever the real wolf was orchestrating the violence. It was done to weaken them, and to ensure that neither pack gained more followers in case Keuric pack and Saint packs were behind the violence. It was ludicrous and as they all left and began to walk from the building Alexandra paused. Her body felt a tingling sensation, and then Alyssa was by her side. She held her arm.

“Do you feel that?” Alex asked Alyssa.

“I do, and I don’t like it. It’s dark, evil,” Alyssa replied.

“Where is it coming from?” Alex asked and looked around them and then toward the hallway. Her eyes landed on Libertin and a man who came to the side, from the doorway exit. They spoke low.

“Listen,” Alex said, and she and Alyssa focused together.

“Vipis,” They both said and were shocked.

They refocused on their men as they talked amongst one another with their fathers. She looked at Cable’t and spoke to him through her mind link.

“Vipis is here. Alyssa and I can feel his presence around Libertin and that man he just met by the door. It may be in our best interest if you were to follow them.”

“I can try, but if it is Vipis, he will know I’m there. In fact, look,” Cable’t said.

Alexandra turned to look, and sure enough the man and Libertin were looking right at her. Libertin smiled softly and nodded his head. She gave a smile and waved, shocking him.

“What are you doing?” Preston asked her, coming up from behind her.

“Just playing the game, Preston. I do believe that the Circle of Elders has been infiltrated by evil. We have a lot to plan and do.”

  * * * *

“Now what?” Vipis said to Libertin.

“No need to panic. It’s going according to plan. By the time the master is done with Keuric and Saint packs, they’ll be no one in the way to fight the army. They will destruct from within, just as the other packs have done, and without a clue that it is all being orchestrated by the master.”

He picked up his cell phone and called Roovio. “They are on to you as we expected. Unfortunately, the Keuric and Saint packs did have a lot of interesting information on you. You’ll be getting visitors from the Circle of Elders. They will conduct their own investigation. Let them.”

“Are you sure it will work? I’m so damn close to ending all this and taking over. The armies are ready.”

“But he is not ready for you to make the move. We must eliminate the threats of these packs. Keuric and Saint have powers. We need to divert their attention elsewhere and I believe I know how. Clear the campgrounds of any evidence of rogue. Follow the plan, and when they are done, and you are in the clear, I will give the order to get the troops in place and attack.”

“Understood. You will hold a great position under my leadership, Libertin. I promise you, it will be significant.”

“I appreciate that. Good luck,” he said and ended the call, and then looked at Vipis and smirked.

“He hasn’t a clue that he is about to take the fall, does he?” Vipis asked.

“Seems I have done my job super well, and with your help, Vipis. The master knows and you shall be rewarded.”

“I will have the bait ready for the other situation. We need to separate them. You know this.”

“I do and it will work out fine. I’ve covered all the bases. In fact, I think their demise in the midst of an event with vampires in Dallas, seems to be the perfect opportunity to strike. Have the men ready. Let the games begin.”

  Chapter Six

“Rule.” Alusia reprimanded him as he joined her in the shower, pressed her arms, palms flat against the wall, and used his thighs to spread her thighs.

“This luscious ass calls to me, baby. My wolf is so fucking possessive of you,” he said, and suckled against her neck.

She felt the tip of his cock press to her pussy lips from behind and as she moaned, widened her stance in acceptance once again of one of her mates’ cocks. She moaned as he nudged it into her.

“By the gods you feel like a fantasy. It’s like I’m in another place, another realm, when making love to you.” He slid his arm around her waist to get a better grip on her hip. He towered over her and she loved that about him and his brothers. In and out, he thrust and rocked his hips. She pushed her ass back, feeling needy to be filled with cock. She felt Rule’s teeth against her neck and then trail down.

“I need you. Oh I need you everywhere,” she said to him. He pulled out, lifted her up and
pressed her back against the wall as she straddled his waist. It was on. It was hot, sexy, wild as they fought for control of the kiss, the way they devoured one another’s moans and rocked their hips. Water splashed over them and then he moved back, aligned his cock with her asshole. She was wet, needy. “Do it. Fuck me in the ass. Do it.” She growled at him and his eyes changed color. She felt her own change and then there was this sensation. Different, powerful emerge within her. She felt her teeth change as he slid his cock into her ass and rocked into her. Her shoulders were pressed hard against the marble wall, her hands ran up and down his forearms.

“I’m there. You got me there,” he said, his teeth elongated.

“You. Got. Me. There,” she said, her voice distorted, her teeth feeling much different than her were incisors, and as they came at the same time, this magical sensation overpowered her and he pressed down to bit her skin and she bit into his neck and drank from his blood.

He moaned and grunted, shook as he came so hard and gripped her so tight. It was instinctual and she knew in her mind that this was in her blood, her ancestry. She in fact had vampire blood in her and she just drank from Rule’s blood.

“What the fuck?” he raged a moment, pulled back and teetered.

“What’s going on?” Law asked as him and Temerec came into the walk-in shower. Their eyes widened and she knew she must look wild. She felt it. Her eyes glowed, her body felt so needy.

“Next. You two are next. You have to feel this.”

“Holy fuck. You have vampire blood in you?” Temerec asked.

“He bit you. Fucking Buschool must have bitten you. There’s no other explanation,” Rule said, lowering her down.

“I don’t care. Get over here,” she said, feeling desperate as she grabbed Temerec and pulled him close. She inhaled against his neck as the water flowed over them. He lifted her up. “By the gods we lost our fucking mind,” he said, but immediately stuck his cock into her pussy as he pressed her up against the wall. They kissed, nipped and suckled on one another. Law and Rule watched. Rule’s eyes were now yellow and red.

She gripped onto Temerec’s muscular arms and counterthrust against him. “Fuck. Holy fuck I’m already there.”

“As I am. It’s meant to be. It’s amazing. I can’t believe how amazing this is,” she said, and then felt the orgasm coming.

“Bite me. Mark me, mate, as I mark you like this,” she said, and showed him her vampire teeth. His eyes widened and she felt his dick thicken in her pussy. He was aroused, turned on by her, and she was aroused by it all, too. They came together, he grunted and bit into her shoulder as he gripped her hips. She bit into his neck. She drank from his blood, felt the power, the magic tingle inside of her. She licked him clean, sealed the wound as if she were pro, and meanwhile she knew very little about vampires.

“By the gods my head is spinning. My blood is pumping so fast. I feel something tingling,” Temerec said.

“It’s the magic. She’s giving us magic, I think,” Rule said.

Law cupped her cheek as Temerec set her feet down and lowered, kissing her wet breasts as the water flowed over him. She looked from him to Law, who ran a thumb over her sharp teeth.

“You are filled with surprises, mate. I don’t know if this is good or bad, but I want to feel it. I want to be such a part of you that we can never be apart.”

“I do, too. It’s right. I feel it is. Take me, Law. Make love to me and mark me.”

“By the gods, my heart is racing.”

“You’re going to love it. It’s amazing. Like nothing I have ever felt before. It’s right. I feel it here,” Rule said, and covered his heart with his hand.

Law lifted her up by her hips. He gave her a wink, but she could see and sense the fear he had. Well reservations, because as soon as he thrust his cock into her pussy, the need, the hunger was great for both of them. Law thrust into her fully, gripping her hips with one hand and her shoulder with the other to gain great leverage. In and out, he thrust his cock into her cunt and she felt her pussy spasm, her heart leap with joy and a calmness, a confidence building and building inside of her. As they both reached the point of orgasm, their gazes locked. “Show me,” he said as he grunted and held back from coming. She exposed her vampire teeth. He squinted and growled then rocked his hips hard, coming as she came and bit into her shoulder, and as she bit into his neck and fed from his blood. She sealed the mark, no one would ever know or see her capabilities. He cupped her cheeks and teetered. “By the gods, you are special, Alusia. So very special, and I hope we are worthy to be your protectors and mates.” He kissed her mouth. When he released her lips, she hugged him tight.

“The gods have spoken, Law. You are more than capable. Together, we are a force who must be prepared for battle. Together.”

Volkan stood by the window in his castle overlooking the gardens and lush land. It was the prefect location, surrounded by deep ravines of swampland and treacherous terrain. The only way in and out was to fly by helicopter or by magic, and he possessed both. Material things, magical things, evil things as a demon was supposed to have. Centuries upon centuries of battles, of triumphs and losses, he overcame them all with his eyes on one goal and one goal only. To rule the world.

That was exactly the path he was on and he could practically see the end drawing near. The twentieth century was a different time indeed. So many things had changed over the years, and it was seen as distasteful, barbaric, and well, illegal to just kill his way to the top. He would gain more enemies that way, when in fact he was trying to gain supporters showing allegiance to his ruling. There were things in the way. Goodness, values, kindness, support and empathy, things he loathed in life. His plan was pretty foolproof. He had sources like Vipis on his side, the witch Delia who would serve her purpose, and he eliminated Cleatta, destroying any hope of power to Alusia, a wolf with witch powers that were pretty strong. Without guidance from Cleatta, or others from the packs that took her in, she would be useless. His plan through Libertin and Roovio would work accordingly. As the Saint packs and Keuric packs dealt with their personal issues and a distrust by the Circle so grand that the Elders would call to imprison them until a thorough investigation was in order, would give Volkan the opportunities he needed to annihilate their packs, as well as those smaller ones supporting them. Hayes, Merker, Knoll, all of them would die. The only ones left would be supporters of Volkan.

He smirked just thinking about the plan, and how Roovio would be taking the fall. By the time the Circle and others knew they had been tricked, it would be too late and there would be no one left to battle them. But first he needed to destroy the creditability and loyalty of those currently in power. The Saint and Keuric Alphas, and their mates. Tonight, the process and phase one would begin. If things didn’t go according to plan, there was time for phase two. A calm before the storm that no one would expect. Not even the powerful mates of Saint and Keuric pack, for evil was a greater power than good, and in the end he would be the last one standing.

“So let me get this straight, they basically took Libertin’s side and the other two guys Cuppa and Selero, and now forbid any of you other then Buschool and Cable’t to interact with the Vignola?” Rule asked Bider, Viper, and Scor as they gathered around the living room with everyone after the meeting with the Circle.

“Basically yes,” Bider said and exhaled.

“What are you going to do about the dinner party tomorrow night?” Alusia asked them.

“That is what we are trying to figure out,” Preston stated.

“While we were there, Alyssa and I picked up on magic, the sorcerer, Vipis to be exact,” Alexandra told her.

  Alusia stood up.

“Seriously? That is not good at all. Who was he speaking with?”

  “Libertin,” Alyssa said.

“Oh boy, they’ve infiltrated the Circle. The Circle cannot be trusted. You realize that, don’t you? I mean of course you do, that’
s why we are all meeting. By the gods, it’s happening. What did they say about Roovio Gaines, or did you leave that out?” she asked.

“We told them, and of course the Elders dismissed the judgment. Especially since Gazelle, Vicarious’s mate, took Roovio in immediately and accepted him as her Alpha,” Preston stated.

“Willingly, or was she forced? Was there magic involved?”

“We don’t know and I suppose it doesn’t matter now. We have our hands tied, especially as the guards they issued have been arriving already,” Puello said to her.

  “Guards?” she asked.

“To watch over the members of our packs and ensure we aren’t building an army in preparation to take over the world,” Saunder said sarcastically.

They were all frustrated and their hands were tied. She looked at Alexandra. “You getting anything more?” she asked.

  Alexandra shook her head.

“Then it comes down to each of us and a plan of action. Something is brewing, obviously. Without proving that Roovio is part of a plan to destroy all packs and rule this realm, we won’t get the official backing of the Circle. Not really concerned over that since they obviously are being controlled by Vipis, the sorcerer. We need to plan something of our own. A simultaneous defense so to speak, in order to remain strong no matter what is headed our way or from whom. Ferdol was involved with Vipis and Roovio. He is a hired killer and where he is, the hit is. I know you’re all Alpha leaders, and my deliverance of orders or a plan may seem unaccepting. I am not overstepping my bounds here, but the gods are speaking to me. We must work together, and this is how we are going to do it,” Alusia said.

She stopped and looked at the doorway.

“I got it,” Alyssa said and walked over to close it. Alusia raised her hands up palms forward and turned in a circle around the room.

“What are you doing?” Comton asked.
