by K. R. Haynes

Yeah, the year ahead was going to have its ups and downs, and being apart, especially being overseas, was going to be difficult at times. However, it wasn’t forever, the distance thing, just like he said. And this time next year she would be arriving back to the country she loved, to the place she called home, and to the man who loved her more than his next breath. Plus, she already had a date for next year’s New Year’s Eve celebrations, and there weren’t too many other women who could say they had one.

And the best part of all, Travis Kane was going to wait for her. He had laid his heart on the line for her today, all the while knowing there was a chance she could knock him back again. His public display of affection showed her that he was fair dinkum about committing to not just her, but also to their long-distance relationship. No matter how badly his balls hurt from not having her in his bed night after night. Yep, she was most definitely his girl all right, just like he was her man and always would be.
