Surprise Me

Authors wrote about that type of thing in some of the more erotic romances she’d read, and while it turned her on, she’d never thought it was something she’d want to do. But holy cow, did she ever.
During her musings, she missed Eric turning off his phone, standing, and walking to them. She jumped when his warm palm rested on her bare shoulder. She resisted the urge to take his hand and slide it into the top of her dress, then taking Carson’s and doing the same. Two men. Two palms for two breasts.
Eric placed his other hand on Carson’s shoulder. With him standing between them, Josie had a good view of the erection bulging his pants. The tip nearly reached his waistband. Her mouth went dry.
“You two need to take this little game elsewhere before you start a riot. I’m not sure some of the men in here could handle it without joining in your fun.”
“We’re just enjoying each other,” Carson said, watching her.
“Well, if you’re into voyeurism, do it somewhere else besides a bar or a beach.”
Josie whipped her head up to look at Eric. She slapped a hand over her mouth. “That was you fishing last night? You saw us?”
Eric nodded. “Just so you know, you were trespassing. The owner doesn’t take kindly to people illegally using his property.”
“We didn’t see any signs,” Josie said.
“Probably because we were so anxious to find a place,” Carson admitted.
“The locals know not to trespass, and sometimes, they take the signs down just to get tourists in trouble.”
Josie swallowed around the lump in her throat. “We know about trouble.”
Eric frowned and looked as if he was going to say something.
“Why didn’t you say anything?” Carson asked.
“I was enjoying it too much.”
Eric removed his hand from her shoulder, leaving a void on her skin. She immediately missed his touch. “I’ll leave you two to enjoy your time here. Just be careful what you do in public.”
Josie watched his long legs and tight ass as he walked toward the door. She switched her attention to Carson.
He raised his eyebrows in question.
Excitement spiked through her system. When she nodded at her husband, he nodded back. This was it. This was the man, and evidently, Carson agreed.
“Eric, wait.”
Chapter Nine
Eric Stenson stopped and turned back to the couple.
“Could we buy you a drink?” Carson asked.
What the hell. He had nothing better to do tonight. He took a stool next to Josie.
He took a sip of his beer and eyed the couple over the bottle. He’d come into the bar, hoping for a Valentine hook up, but what he’d gotten was the couple he’d seen making love on his beach. The temperature in the building spiked when he saw the woman enter the bar alone.
Even though she appeared older than she had in the moonlight—maybe around his age—she was gorgeous and sexy in a way young women couldn’t emulate. She exuded style, confidence, and when her husband stepped through the door, her eyes shone with love. Why hadn’t he ever found someone like that?
“Listen, man,” Carson started. “We’ve never done anything like this before. We’re pretty straight people. Right, Josie?”
Josie’s hair swept across her shoulders when she nodded. “I already told you our parents have our two kids for a week. This was supposed to be a time to surprise one another.”
Eric’s libido kicked in again when she lifted her glass of wine and put it to her lips.
“I’m not sure why we’re telling you this”—she continued after setting her glass on the bar–“except that I feel some type of connection to you. So does Carson. We’ve learned a few things about ourselves on this trip.”
“Like what?” As a full-time resident of the island, he’d come across people who were out for a good time. A good fuck. Whether with him alone or together, it didn’t matter. Men even hit on him, but he didn’t swing that way.
Last night, when he had seen these two run onto his property hand-in-hand like they didn’t have a care in the world, something stopped him from chasing them off.
Even though he was aware what they were going to do, he’d left his visiting sister to her own devices and walked down to the beach. It was like an invisible rope had pulled him. He had taken his fishing pole along as an excuse to be there. Why he thought he needed an excuse to be on his own beach was beyond him.
Usually, he coughed early on when a couple trespassed and they scurried away. Or he chased them away. But these two were so engrossed in each other, they’d continued. Maybe because they were an older couple, he decided to leave them alone. Besides, they had put on quite a show.
Watching them make love stirred something in him he hadn’t felt in a long time. Even though he could tell they were horny and in a hurry, he could also tell they were actually making love, not just fucking.
“You sure you want to listen to this?” Josie asked.
Eric glanced at her, then down at her breasts. “Oh, yeah. I want to listen.” Those gorgeous breasts he’d seen in the moonlight. That tapered waist. Full hips. Glowing white ass. Eric grew harder at the memory.
As Carson relayed their experiences so far, Eric watched Josie, thinking how lucky her husband was. While he thought about having her for himself, he still managed to laugh at the right places in the conversation. Raised his eyebrows and winked at her at others. What was it about this woman that interested him so much?
“So you see,” Carson said, leaning around Josie to look at him, “this whole voyeurism thing is new to both of us. I can’t explain why I enjoy the idea of having another person with us, but I do.”
“And heaven knows I never thought I’d want another man in our bed with Carson and me, but I do.” Josie peered up at him through her lashes.
Eric spit out a mouthful of beer and wiped his chin with the back of his hand. “Did I hear you right? You want a ménage?” Shit. How long was it since he’d been involved in one? And never with a married couple.
Josie glanced between him and Carson. She took a deep breath. “Yes.”
He smacked the bottle onto the bar. “Why are you telling me this?”
“Because I, we, want you to be with us. Right, Carson?”
Carson raised his bottle to Eric.
Confusion and interest spiked through Eric. “Why me?”
Waving to the bartender for another round, Carson continued, “Josie tells me you’re the only man tonight not to ogle her breasts right away.”
“Sure as hell wasn’t easy,” Eric admitted. That was their criteria for choosing a man to join them? This couple was crazy. And he was just crazy enough to be interested.
“But you did it. That meant a lot to me.” Josie kept her eyes on the napkin she was shredding. “When I first saw you, there was something that clicked with me. Besides being sexy, you seemed…right.”
“Right?”
“Yes, right.”
This was getting more bizarre. Someone needed to explain to this couple that picking up a stranger in a bar was not the safest thing to do. “And based on that, you want me to have sex with you? Do you realize how foolish that sounds?”
Carson slammed his bottle onto the bar, and Josie jumped. “Hey, man. If you’re not interested, just say so. This is hard for us.”
“I didn’t say I wasn’t interested.” He leaned across Josie, brushing his arm against her breast. He glared at Carson. They really weren’t pulling his leg. They were actually ménage virgins. “You two have never done this, have you? You have no idea what you’re doing, do you?”
“No,” they said together.
“And yet you’re willing to let a complete stranger join you in the bedroom? Fuck your wife?”
Carson frowned. “That’s a rather crass way of putting it, but yes.”
Eric sat back in his chair and contemplated the couple. To say he was turned on by Josie was like saying a hurricane was a summer shower. C
arson seemed to love his wife and wanted to give her pleasure. He wasn’t a bad-looking guy and in good shape, so fucking his wife with him along for the ride wouldn’t be a problem.
“Have you ever done anything like this before?” Carson asked, interrupting Eric’s thoughts.
“Being part of a ménage? Yes.”
Josie’s eyes grew wide. “Two men and a woman or two women and a man?”
“I never understood a man wanting two women at once. Hell. He has only one cock and mouth to use with two pussies. Two hands to four breasts. Doesn’t make sense.” He raised his eyebrows. “I’ve shared a woman with a man a time or two, and that’s the best—or so they tell me.”
Eric whispered in her ear, “Think about it. Both breasts being played with and nipples sucked on at the same time. One man eating you out while another plays with your tits. One man inside your pussy with another in your ass—” he paused and felt tremors pass through Josie “—at the same time.”
She was turned on by his words. He could smell it. Taste it. Hear it in her short breaths. He imagined her pussy was wet with desire.
Carson leaned around his wife. “What are you saying to her?” he asked Eric.
“Just telling her that while you eat her pussy, I’ll be sucking her tits. Or we’ll both suck her tits together. That when one of our cocks is shoved up her pussy, the other will be in her ass.”
“Must you be so crass?”
Carson’s words were in direct conflict to the glow in the man’s eyes. Was he trying to make his wife feel better by downplaying Eric’s words or covering up the fact that those words turned him on? “Hell, man. I just want to make sure both of you know what you’re getting into. Still want to go ahead?”
He ran the back of his finger along the side of her breast. His cock grew in proportion to the softness of her skin. Hell, he could take her right now, right here, in the bar, with everyone watching. “Because I sure as hell do.”
Before they could answer, his cell phone rang. He held up a finger to Carson and Josie, rose from his stool, and hit the answer button.
As he listened to his sister, who he hadn’t talked to since day before, he watched the couple who had proposed something he thought he’d never do again. With their heads together, Carson ran his hand down Josie’s back, resting it at the top of her ass. She caressed her husband’s leg before settling her hand near his crotch. So engrossed in their actions, he barely heard his sister’s words. They finally sank in.
“You what?” Eric turned his back to the couple and raked his fingers through his hair, listened a moment longer, then slapped his phone on the counter, and sat down. If it was possible to strangle someone through a cell phone, his arm would now be around his sister’s neck.
“Josie, earlier when I said you could get in trouble for trespassing, you said you knew. How did you know?”
She frowned and looked at Carson. “Um… When we came out from the path we were stopped by a police officer. He said the owner of the property called and wanted the trespassers to be fined. Actually, he said arrested, but they didn’t arrest people for that offense.”
Carson spoke over Josie’s head. “But he did want to arrest us for indecent exposure. I convinced him no one was around to see us, so he just gave us a ticket for that.”
Eric closed his eyes and mentally swore at his sister. Just when he found, or should he say they found him, what he thought would be a fantastic bout of sex, he learned they were in trouble with the law because of his damn sister. He couldn’t justify getting involved in a situation that could become tricky for the couple.
“What are you going to do about it?” Eric asked.
“When we get home, I’m going to call a lawyer and see what we can do since there were no posted signs.”
“You’re not from here?”
Josie rolled her glass between her palms. “No. San Antonio.”
Eric tossed some bills on the bar and stood. “Tell you what. I’m interested in your proposition, but right now, I have something I need to get settled. I’ll see you around.”
With one last look at the couple and regret burning in his gut, Eric left the building, knowing he’d never see them again. If he did, it wouldn’t be in a place that would bode well for any of them.
Chapter Ten
Two nights later, Josie, happy to be home again in their own bed, kissed Carson’s neck. Getting a ticket and losing out on spending time with Eric spoiled the rest of their stay. So, Saturday after breakfast, they’d packed up and come home.
Snuggled against his side, she ran her fingers through his chest hair. He kissed her temple, and she closed her eyes feeling secure in his love.
“Happy Valentine’s Day, babe.”
Josie snorted. “Big deal. I can’t believe we have to work with a lawyer to clear up those trespassing and indecent exposure charges.” She curled her body into Carson’s and yawned. “It sure messed up our vacation. Coming home a day early wasn’t in the plans, either.”
He caressed her bare back and rested his hand on her ass. “It’s good to be back home, though. Isn’t it?”
She licked his neck, his salty taste spiking her libido even after having just made love. “Yeah, but it was nice getting away.” She hesitated, not wanting to bring up their situation, but she needed to know where they stood with the law. “Seriously, though. What did the lawyer say yesterday?”
“John wasn’t too happy I’d called him on a Saturday afternoon but said he’d look into it on Monday morning. Said it was a good idea we took pictures, showing there were no signs posted.” Carson pulled the covers over their shoulders. “Except for that, did you have a good time?”
Josie giggled, a vision of a tall, handsome stranger flowing through her mind. “Yes. But don’t forget propositioning a complete stranger to have sex with us. I can’t imagine what the boys would think about that.”
Carson laughed. “Can hardly forget that, can we?”
Nope. Can’t forget that. She sighed. It was all she thought about. Well, that and nearly getting arrested. Shit. Was it possible they’d end up with records? Maybe when they were in their eighties they’d be able to laugh about it.
Besides that, she missed Eric. She didn’t know how it was possible to miss someone she’d talked to for such a brief time, but she did. Maybe she missed the idea of having sex with two men more than the man himself.
“How do you feel about it?” Carson asked, interrupting her erotic thoughts.
“Being caught on the beach?”
Carson cupped her ass. “I think I know how you feel about that.”
“Mortified?”
Carson chuckled and rested his chin on the top of her head. “So, what did you think about the whole Eric thing?”
“Truthfully?”
“Always.”
“I think we missed out on a good thing.”
Carson’s sigh blew her hair into her face. “I agree. I mean, since we’ve never done anything like this before, we can’t be certain he was the right man to introduce us to ménage, but it sure felt right.”
Josie nodded and smiled. She rested her hand on his erection. He obviously still liked the idea. “Do you think we should contact him?”
“Unless he gave you his last name and where he lives, I think that ship has sailed.”
“Do you think we’ll have to go back to South Padre and appear in court?”
“I don’t know. If we do, I’m not sure how we’d even find Eric or if he’d want to see us. He left rather abruptly, so I’m not so sure he was as into a ménage as we were.”
At least her fantasies of what could have been with Eric and Carson together would be erotic. “Should we look for someone else from around here?”
Carson stayed quiet for too long. Did she make a mistake in bringing up the idea of finding a different man? His chest bounced against her side as he chuckled.
“With our track record, I don’t think so. Besides, there’s the boys to think of.” Ca
rson slid from her arms and opened his bedside table door. “I forgot to give these to you.” He plopped a bag on her stomach. “Happy Valentine’s Day.”
Josie picked it up and laughed. “You’re kidding. Candy hearts? How did you get so many?”
“When you sent me to the store, I found a place that makes them, so I ordered a bunch and had them delivered to our room yesterday. You were in the shower at the time.”
Hefting the bag in her hand, she asked, “How many are there?”
“I did some calculations. If we live to be eighty-five and we use one a month, that would be five hundred and sixty-four. Since I’m banking on us being together until we’re at least ninety, I ordered six hundred. By then we should be so old we probably won’t remember what they were for. Do you know how much trouble we can get into with that many?”
Throwing back the sheet and sitting back on her haunches, Josie stared at her husband. Her heart filled to bursting. “Do you have any idea how much I love you, you sweet, sweet man?”
“No, you’d better show me.”
Josie dropped the bag and peppered kisses on Carson’s cheeks, face, chest, and stomach, lower and lower until they were both lost in their passion.
Unnoticed, the bag fell to the floor, splitting open, and spilling six hundred pink candy hearts that read Surprise Me.
