Gia continuously screamed as tears streamed down her face. “Get the fuck out!! NOW! GET THE FUCK OUT!!”

I was flying down the expressway when Capone finally called me back.

I hurriedly turned down Chief Keef and answered the phone with, “Meet me at my crib.”

“What? Nigga, its seven o’clock in the morning.”

  “You don’t sound sleep.”

Capone laughed slyly. “Naw, I wasn’t.”

Then I heard some little cute girlish giggle so close that it sounded like she was on three way with us.

“Get out the pussy and meet me at the condo. It’s been a hell of a morning.”

  “Word?”

  “Word.”

  “See you in a minute.”

  “One.”

Since Capone had got a spot not too far from Simone’s, I knew that he would be there within minutes, just as I was.

As soon as I hung up, I called Simone’s cell again. Again, I didn’t get an answer. She left for work at seven o’clock every day, so I knew that she wasn’t sleep. I was sure that she was probably pissed that I was out all night and hadn’t been answering her calls.

I knew she thought that I was in some pussy all night.

I blew her phone up all the way to the crib, all while trying to wrap my head around how things went down with Ching.

Capone was pulling up in front of my crib at the same time I was.

As soon as he got out of the car, he was barking at me with eyes that were riding low and hazy. “Man, what the fuck is going on?”

“I got some shit to tell you. C’mon, let’s go in the crib.”

I was busy dialing Simone’s cell again as Capone asked me over and over again what the fuck was going on. But now I was more so worried about Simone then telling him about what went down earlier that morning. Simone had never gotten upset with me so much that she ignored my calls. With her being pregnant, I was especially worried.

Still, Capone was all over me, wondering what the emergency was. As I unlocked the door, he nagged me over and over again. I’m sure he noticed how wired I was and how whatever happened had me freaking out. “Man, what the fuck is…”

As I opened the door, Capone stopped dead in his tracks.

“Oh shit,” slipped from my mouth as my eyes fell on Simone lying on the kitchen floor, unconscious.

“Fuck!” Full of panic and dread, I ran towards her as fast I could. “Call 9-1-1!”

I was so mad! Even though Chance had left out of my home with his tail between his legs, it wasn’t enough. I drove at record speeds in pure shock at what I’d read in his phone.

I felt like I was being Catfished. I just knew that at any moment, Ashton Kutcher was going to jump out from behind a tree with a camera crew and tell me that I was being punk’d.

The level of Chance’s deceit sickened me literally. I saw myself trusting him, cooking for him, sucking his dick, and fucking him, and fought the urge to scream in anger as I drove down 79th Street. These niggas talk you into putting your guard down with no intent but to shit on you and fuck up your life with no mercy.

I took care of that son of a bitch. I gave him somewhere to lay his head when all he had was that filthy ass motel to sleep in. I cooked him meals when he didn’t even have a fucking dollar to buy a double cheeseburger off the dollar menu at McDonald’s.

Rae killed herself. Rae was dead all because I was too far up in this lying niggas ass to make sure that she was okay.

All of that for this; a nigga who was completely opposite of what he showed me. He whoo’d me while lying to me. He manipulated the fuck outta me while holding me and calling me his wife.

I wasn’t going to let him get away with it. He was the first nigga to fuck me over in a long time, but I was going to be the first bitch that fucked him over.

I parked sloppily, hopped out of the car, and literally ran towards the door. People looked at me like I was crazy. They saw my tears. They saw my hair sticking up every which way all over my head. They saw the distress in my eyes and watched me curiously; wondering what my problem was.

My problem was that I had stupidly trusted again. I had been laying up with a man that I had just found out was not only a liar but a monster.

“Yes, ma’am? Can I help you?” The officer at the front desk gave me the same peculiar stares that everyone had in the precinct parking lot. But I wasn’t trying to hide my distress. I didn’t give a fuck. Chance was going to pay for fucking me over.

“I need to speak to a homicide detective,” I said nearly out of breath with a voice cracking with anxiety and hurt. “I have information about a murder.”
