“Your room is beautiful Bluebell.” Della continued on. “We have had a wonderful day with you.”
“Yes we have,” agreed Kevin
“I think that we should freshen up and be on our way home. I would like to be home before Mother,” said Della “I would like to have super ready for when she arrives home.”
“Very well,” agreed Bluebell, “While you both freshen up I will call for the Royal coach.”
“I will be waiting for you in the great hall downstairs.”
“Thank you Bluebell we will be with you as soon as we have freshened up,” replied Kevin. When the children came down the stairs they could see the coachman talking with Bluebell.
“There you are. The coachmen have returned from the woodlands with your picnic basket. They have placed it in the coach for you.”
“Thank you,” said Della, “We had forgotten about it.”
“Come it is time for us to leave. The coach is ready and waiting.” They followed Bluebell out to where the coach stood at the bottom of the Crystal staircase.
Once they were aboard the coach they took off at a very fast speed.
As they passed though the dark and creepy woodlands, the trees were very close to the coach. Their long gnarled branches seemed to reach out for them like scary crooked fingers as the coach passed on its way along the narrow forest trail.
“Look out though the window when we slow to pass around the enchanted lake, the fairies will be dancing under the shimmering starlight in celebration this Midsummer's Eve.” said Bluebell to the children. And sure enough there were hundreds of fairies elves and pixies dancing in the forest under the stars and moon.
“How wonderful,” said Della and Kevin, “We will never forget our visit to you world. It will always be special to us Bluebell.”
They traveled on, out of the forest and over the sand dunes at an alarming speed. The coach slowed as it entered the Village of Findhorn. It came to a stop at the cottage gate. Bluebell hugged her friends. They said their good byes to each other.
“Once you step on to the road I will return you to your normal size and make you visible.”
“I did wonder what the neighbors would say when the saw us in the Royal Fairy coach,” said Kevin, “To be honest I never thought about our size.” They all had a good chuckle at this statement.
“Good bye my friends until we meet again,” said Bluebell.”
“Good bye Bluebell.”
