Give Me The Reason: A Love Story

Tyson reached over and picked up the two single roses, handing one to Delaney and the other to Natasha. “These roses are for you two beautiful ladies. Enjoy the show and again, if you need anything, please don’t hesitate to let me know,” he said, and walked off as smoothly as he appeared.
Delaney sat there with her mouth agape, watching him walk over to mingle with the crowd. His cockiness shocked her and turned her on at the same time. If she drank alcohol, tonight would definitely qualify her for a drink.
Delaney glanced over at Natasha only to find her with her mouth open as well, holding onto the rose. “Damn girl, I like him! He’s sexy and cocky!” She snapped her fingers and fell back on the sofa laughing.
Delaney ignored Natasha and proceeded to read the note that was attached to the rose Tyson gave her. Enjoy the show my beautiful Delaney Rose!
After reading the note, she tossed the rose on the table and signaled the waitress. “Can I get you something?” she asked.
“Yes, may I have a glass of ginger ale?”
“Sure. Would you ladies like to order anything from the kitchen before the show starts? The boss said everything is on him, so order whatever you’d like.” She smiled brightly.
Surely the waitress had them mistaken, Delaney didn’t know the owner of the establishment.
“I’m sorry, but who is your boss?”
“The gentlemen that was over here a few minutes ago, Tyson,” she said, pointing at Tyson who was standing a few feet away from them talking to a couple at another table.
“Ohhh! No, I will just take a glass of ginger ale,” Delaney replied, still trying to digest everything.
“Well, unlike my prissy friend, I’m hungry as hell. I will have the smoked salmon and rice,” Natasha said, handing the menu to the waitress.
The waitress giggled and tucked the menu under her arm. “Ok, your order will be out shortly. Enjoy the show, ladies,” she said, and walked off.
“Before you even say anything, no I didn’t know that he owned the place.”
Natasha flipped her hair and gave the Delaney the side eye. “Ummmm hmmmm, girl you betta stop playing games and get up on that. He is doing big thangs,” she said, pursing her lips. She hoped Delaney recognized how good of a catch Tyson was, and didn’t brush him off like she’d done with other potential suitors in the past.
The lights went dim which meant it was almost show time. Natasha was sipping a glass of bubbly and enjoying her plate of smoked salmon and rice. Delaney watched Tyson as he made his rounds, mingling with various patrons and interacting with the staff. His confidence was on one hundred. He dazzled the females with his smile. Whenever he walked away the women would smile and give each other high five’s. She knew exactly what they were thinking, because she was thinking the exact same thing.
From time to time Tyson would glance her way and his eyes would meet hers, holding her hostage. Delaney had to literally force herself to pull away from his piercing stare. It was as if some magnetic force was playing matchmaker against her will. She reminded herself for the umpteenth time to stay focused and not become distracted by his charismatic charm.
The show was amazing from start to finish. Delaney was on cloud nine the entire night. The crowd started to thin out, but there were still a good number of people hanging around talking and laughing. Natasha was sitting beside her texting someone and whoever it was had her smiling.
“Are you ready?” Delaney asked.
Natasha held her left hand up. “Yeah, give me a minute.”
“Girl, you betta bring ya ass. I hope that’s my brother you’re texting this time of night. Sitting over there smiling all hard and shit,” Delaney replied, rolling her eyes.
“See, that’s where you’re wrong and mind yo business,” she said without looking up from her phone. “Ain’t nothing wrong with a little harmless flirting,” she added.
“Yeah ok. When Jason finds out, let’s see if he agrees.” Delaney was concerned now more than ever. She thought Natasha and Jason were happy and in love. What is really going on in the Williams’ household? she wondered. She genuinely admired them as a couple. Far as Delaney knew, Jason had been faithful from the day they exchanged vows. Those two were her only true role models of what a healthy relationship looked like.
“When is he going to find out? Shit, he ain’t never home long enough to even know what’s going on. And when he is home, all we do is fuck and then he takes his ass to sleep. It’s not like I’m fucking anyone. Besides, I don’t see the harm in talking to someone else from time to time. It’s really not that serious,” she said, continuing to text.
Delaney just shook her head. She would let it go for now, because this wasn’t the time nor place to get personal. Finally, Natasha put her cell phone in her clutch and gulped the rest of her drink down. Just as they were preparing to leave, Tyson walked up, smiling. Delaney felt the all too familiar quiver in her panties at the mere sight of him.
“I hope you ladies enjoyed the show,” he said, barely able to keep his eyes off Delaney. She looked ravishing in the tight romper, showing off all of her lovely curves. He could hardly wait for the day that he could explore those hills and valleys.
“Yes, we did,” they replied in unison. Delaney and Natasha glanced at each other and giggled.
Natasha’s cell phone chimed a few times back to back. She reached inside of her clutch and retrieved her cell phone. She softly giggled as she read the messages.
“Well, I have to go, boo,” she said and kissed Delaney on the cheek.
Delaney shot her a suspicious look. “Where are you running off to? I thought we were leaving together?”
“Girl, I’m sure Tyson would be happy to walk you to your car, won’t you?” She winked, running her hand along his arm. Clearly avoiding Delaney’s question about where she was going.
Delaney stood there shooting daggers at Natasha with her eyes. Tyson looked between the two of them, sensing that something wasn’t right.
“Sure, I will walk you to your car,” he said, looking directly at Delaney.
“Good, it’s settled. I will call you tomorrow, Laney.” She smiled, switching away in that tight ass dress.
Delaney was fuming on the inside. “Tash, don’t you think someone should walk you to your car?” she called out after her.
“I’ll be fine,” she replied, throwing her hand up in air, not bothering to look back. Natasha knew if Delaney was aware of what she was really up to, that she would try to talk her out of it. She knew exactly what she was doing, and for once she was going to do what made her happy. Let the chips fall where they may.
Delaney sighed loudly as she watched her best friend walk out of the door. Knowing Tash, she was up to no good. She only hoped whatever was going on didn’t come back to bite Natasha in the ass.
“You good, ma?” Tyson asked, concerned etched across his handsome face.
“Yeah, I’m good. So, why didn’t you tell me that you owned the place?” she asked, looking around the beautiful establishment.
He flashed his dimples and ran his tongue along his bottom lip. “I didn’t see the point at the time. I’m one of two owners. My homeboy, Drake, is my business partner,” he revealed.
“Well, you guys have done a great job with the place. The setup is stunning. I love the color scheme.” Delaney had to admit that she was impressed by his drive. He worked full time at FedEx and still found the time to run a business. His hustle game was real. “Impressive,” she said with a smile. She admired a man with goals and ambition and Tyson had both going for him.
“Thanks. I’m flattered, but my goals go beyond trying to impress anyone. Although I gotta say that I’m pleased to know that I can impress a big time attorney like yaself,” he joked.
“Has anyone ever told you that you’re cocky? It’s kinda cute though,” she chuckled. She actually found it to be quite charming.
“Nah, ma, I told you I’m just confident,” he said, running his hand through his goatee. Tyson al
lowed his eyes to slowly roam over her body, starting from her head all the way down to her perfectly pedicured feet. She oozed sexiness. The best thing about it was that she wasn’t even aware of just how sexy she was.
Delaney felt the heat coming from his eyes as he continued to stare at her. She briefly looked away, hoping that he would release her from his hold.
“Come on, let’s sit down,” he said, taking her by the hand.
She wanted to protest, but instead she allowed him to lead her over to the sofa in the VIP section of the lounge. She sat down and crossed her legs. Tyson followed suit, and slightly brushed up against her when he sat down beside her. She swore a jolt of electricity shot up her thigh at that very moment.
Tyson leaned back and draped his arm over the back of the sofa. The scent of his cologne invaded her senses once again. She closed her eyes and inhaled deeply.
“So, Delaney, tell me about yourself.”
“What do you wanna know?” She turned to face him. One look into his eyes and she knew it was a bad idea. She should have run out of there as soon as the show was over. He was awakening feelings in her that she’d buried long ago.
“Damn, your eyes are gorgeous, and you look amazing by the way,” he complimented.
“Thank you, Tyson,” she said, barely above a whisper. They sat and talked into the wee hours of the night. The conversation flowed like water. He told her all about his childhood, and like Delaney’s father, his father was also an adulterer. The only difference was that Tyson’s father was abusive towards his mother and him. Delaney sympathized with him. She could hear the pain in his voice as he recalled the events of his childhood. She was surprised when he disclosed that he didn’t have any children. It was rare for a man in this century not to have children. He explained that he took marriage and fatherhood seriously, that when the time was right he wanted to settle down with the right woman.
“I don’t know what it is about you, Delaney, but I feel like I could tell you anything. It’s been a long time since I’ve opened up to a woman the way I have with you tonight.” Tyson said, gazing into her beautiful eyes. Delaney slightly shifted under his gaze, and smiled.
“I’m flattered that you feel that way.” A comfortable silence fell between them as they stared into each other’s eyes. There was no denying the chemistry between them. One minute he had her in tears and the next she was in tears from laughing. The vibe was bananas between them. She was digging him more than she’d expected.
“So tell me more about yourself, it seems like I’ve been dominating the conversation.” He said, moving closer to her on the sofa. “You can start by telling me how you got into poetry,” he added.
Delaney eased back letting her shoulder rest gently next to Tyson’s. “Well, I started by writing my emotions down in my diary when I was a young girl. Eventually, those emotions turned into poetry. That is the best way I can put it.” She brushed a piece of her hair out of her face. Not quite willing to expose what she’d been through with her parents, and her first heartbreak, Delaney left it at that.
“I’m kinda digging this lil’ mysterious thing you got going on, ma,” he joked. Tyson wasn’t sure how much longer he’d be able to keep from kissing her. Being so close to her only intensified his hunger.
“I’m not mysterious, just cautious.” She chuckled.
“It’s all good, soon you will be telling me all of your deepest and darkest secrets,” he said, moving a piece of her hair behind her ear.
“Tyson, although I am enjoying this conversation immensely, I really must get going. I have to work in the morning, well in four hours to be exact,” she said, glancing down at her watch. She did a quick survey of the lounge, realizing for the first time that they were the only two people left in the entire place.
“As much as I hate to let you go, I know I have to,” he said, staring deeply into her eyes. He stood, reaching for her hand.
They slowly walked to her car, neither one of them wanting the night to end. Once they reached her black Acura, Tyson reached for the car door, opening it to let her in.
“Wait a minute,” he said pulling her lightly by the arm. He bent down and planted a soft kiss on her lips. She closed her eyes, savoring the sweetness of their first kiss.
“I’m sorry if I was out of line, but I just couldn’t help myself.” He smiled.
Those dimples were going to be the death of her. Delaney smiled shyly, unable to find her voice. She was pleasantly surprised by the impromptu kiss. As far as she was concerned, he could kiss her again and again if he wanted to. As if he was reading her mind, he suddenly reached down and grabbed her by the waist, covering her mouth with his. She didn’t resist when his tongue entered her mouth. She wrapped her arms around Tyson’s neck, pressing her body into his.
Reality slapped her in the face when she realized what she was doing. Instantly, she pulled back abruptly ending their passionate kiss. She didn’t have any intentions of getting close to him. There was no way she could endure the pain of another heartbreak.
Tyson distinctly knew that something deeper than the kiss was bothering her.
“Listen, bae, I know we just met, but I’m digging the hell out of you. To be totally honest, I’ve thought about you constantly since the day I met you. I’m not into playing games, ma. I hope you give yourself a chance to get to know me.”
Delaney searched his eyes for any signs of bullshit, but all she saw was sincerity gleaming from his dark brown eyes. The sweet words were still not enough to convince her that he was worth the risk of another heartbreak.
“I really have to get going,” she said and got in her car. Tyson closed the door for her and tapped on the window. Delaney sighed and rolled the window down.
“Do you mind if I call you sometime? Maybe we can go out when you have some free time?” He saw something special in Delaney and he refused to let her get away from him.
“You just won’t give up, will you?” She chuckled.
“Nah ma, giving up is not in my DNA. When I see something I want, I go hard.”
Cocky mafucka!
Without waiting for a response, Tyson handed Delaney his cell phone so she could lock her number in. Once she saved her name and telephone number, she handed it back to him and rolled up her window. He stood back with his hands in his pockets and smiled. His smile was so infectious, all she could do was shake her head and smile back.
He watched her car drive down the road until he couldn’t see it anymore before heading back inside to lock up. Delaney Rose was going to be his before it was all said and done.
Chapter Fourteen
Natasha parked her candy apple red 2013 Dodge Charger and eagerly hopped out of the car. She walked up to the door and rang the doorbell. She really hated lying to her best friend; but like her mama always said, the best kept secret is your own. If she kept everyone out of her business, there were less chances of getting caught. Plus Delaney could be judgmental at times. She wasn’t married and had no idea about the struggles of marriage. Until recently, Jason was the only man that she’d ever been intimate with.
The sex between her and Jason was good, but the sizzle had long burned out for her. Her new boo was definitely handling business. She couldn’t get enough of him. He opened the door and grabbed her by the waist, pushing her up against the wall and kissing her passionately, as he kicked the door shut with his bare foot. Natasha’s panties became instantly wet. She loved his aggressive nature when it came to sex.
“What took you so long, bae?” he asked in between wet kisses. Before she could respond he reached under the short dress, moved her panties to the side, and slid his middle finger inside of her slippery center.
“Ooohhh yeees, oooohh daaaamn” was all she could say.
He lifted her up by her ass cheeks and wrapped her thighs around his waist, carrying her into the living room. Not once did he break their kiss. He placed her on the sofa and dove head first into her dripping wet kitty. Natasha moaned loudly as his tongue flic
ked gently over her engorged clit. He latched his lips onto her clitoris and sucked harder until it began to swell in his mouth. When she thought she couldn’t take any more, he placed two fingers inside of her pussy searching for her g-spot. In a matter of seconds she was screaming and cumming all over his handsome face. He ran his tongue from the bottom to the top of her pulsating pussy, savoring all of her juices.
“Turn that ass over and let me suck that pussy from the back,” he demanded. Natasha moved faster than the speed of light, he didn’t have to tell her twice. One thing she loved about him was that he enjoyed giving head. He was something like a pussy connoisseur in her opinion.
He spread her ass cheeks apart and ran his tongue from the crack of her ass, all the way down to the opening of her pussy. He tongue fucked her wet pussy like he was searching for gold.
“Yeeeeesss bae, damn that shit feels so goooood!” she yelled.
Her body shook violently as she exploded in his mouth for the second time.
“Damn, you taste good,” he said, licking the sweet nectar that was dripping down the back of her thigh.
Once Natasha found the strength to turn around, she was face to face with the one eyed monster. He was packing more meat than the Big Daddy’s Meat Market on Lee Street. She was amazed at the thickness and length of his beautiful dick. Natasha swirled her tongue around the head of his rock hard meat, before sucking lightly on the head. She looked up at him and bobbed her head up and down, sucking his dick like her life depended on it.
He clenched his hands up into tight fists and thrust his wood deeper into her mouth.
“Damn, bae,” he moaned. She never once broke eye contact with him as she slurped and sucked on his dick.
“Come sit that fat pussy on daddy’s dick,” he groaned.
He fell back on the sofa with his soldier standing at attention. Natasha straddled him, sliding down slowly on his ten inches of grade A meat. She had not become accustomed to the girth of his dick yet. He gripped her waist with both of his large hands, as she began to grind her hips in a nice steady rhythm. She threw her head back in sheer ecstasy and rode him like a trained cowgirl. Natasha contracted her pussy muscles tightly around his dick as she lifted her ass, and slammed down hard.
