A Chance Mistake

  As she neared the steps, Kory and Griff dashed out of the house and raced down the steps. Kory embraced her.

  “I—” She began, holding the key to show him.

  He stopped her words with a kiss. “Let’s run away together.”

  “Where shall we go?” She smiled at the thought.

  “You name the place, and I’ll flip a coin.” He said in a soft teasing tone.

  “Heads, we’ll go?”

  “Heads, we’ll go.”
