Dino's Little Wolf

  The hunter met Martin’s gaze.

“We might have lost this fucking battle, but I plan on taking you lovers with me on the ride back to hell,” Gray said, pointing the rifle at Martin’s head.

Every muscle in his body tensed up. Was this the end? God knew he didn’t think he had much to live for when he saw Logan’s wedding invitation in the mail. Meeting Dino altered everything and made Martin imagine a future where he could be happy with Dino as his mate. He sure as hell didn’t want to die, but if Dino was gone, it wouldn’t be so bad if Martin could see Dino in the afterlife.

Was it Martin’s imagination or did he see Dino’s hand move? What the hell was he thinking? He shouldn’t be giving up, not yet. Dino lashed out his hand, fastening it over Gray’s ankle and gave it one hard yank.

Spitting out a curse, Gray fell, the rifle slipping from his fingers. The hunter automatically went for his weapon again, but Martin moved at the same time Dino did. Martin managed to grab hold of the gun just as Dino and Gray ended up in a roll. He positioned the gun carefully in his hands, finger trembling on the trigger. Deciding he didn’t have a clear shot, Martin decided to put the gun down.

With Boundless running through Gray’s system, Martin saw the hunter having no trouble blocking Dino’s blows. Given Dino was still recovering from his gunshot wounds earlier, Martin knew Dino wouldn’t be able to keep up. Growling, Dino seemed to decide shifting partially was the best solution.

Gray answered him by reaching for his knives, the signature silver-tipped blades carried by all the members of the Order of the knife. They two men tangled, dislodged from each other, and were back on their feet in seconds.

Dino and Gray warily circled each other. Gray had his knives and Dino his claws. They came at each other again, a blur of movement. Sirens blared in the distance. More of the Darkfall wolves had arrived, massacring any hunter and mercenary in sight.

Even if their enemies were pumped up on Boundless, the Darkfall wolves had the advantage of discipline and moved liked a well-trained military unit. He could also see the hawk shifters helping out, blindsiding the enemy when they weren’t looking.

Meanwhile, Gray and Martin’s continued their dance, claws and blades a whirl of movement.

Gray let a cry of victory. Martin’s heart nearly came to a stop. He couldn’t breathe during those awful moments.

The hunter had Dino pinned to a tree, knife planted deep into Dino’s gut. All the while Gray had forgotten Martin was still there, waiting for the right moment. Don’t panic, you can do this. Breathing in and out helped eased his nerves and prepare him for what he needed to do to save his mate.

Martin was unfamiliar with the gun in his hands, but he’d gone to the shooting range with Logan and the others before for self-defense lessons. Never was he more thankful to Logan for persuading him to learn the basics. Raising the rifle, Martin had a clear shot. He didn’t hesitate. The gun hit Gray in the square of his back.

Snarling, Gray swiveled his head. Dino shoved his left claw into Gray’s gut. Still, the hunter wasn’t dead. Martin shot him again for good measure until Gray’s eyes glazed over. Gray’s knives clattered to the floor. Certain he was dead, Martin dropped the rifle and ran to his mate. He shoved Gray’s corpse aside. Dino slumped against the tree, bleeding out.

“Baby, we’re going to be fine,” Martin told Dino, but Dino didn’t respond. Dino flashed him a smile before falling unconscious.

“I need a healer,” he shouted, alarmed.

“Get me to him,” came Declan’s voice.

Remembering Declan couldn’t walk on his own, Martin ran to him and helped him over to Dino.

“We need to stop the bleeding. My kit, it’s by that tent,” Declan ordered. Martin got the bag and returned, anxious.

“Martin, I’m here,” said Doc, panting as he reached them.

“You’re a real doctor? Good,” Declan whispered, moving aside so Doc could work.

Martin watched anxiously as Doc treated Dino’s wounds.

“The knife went in clean, but didn’t touch any vital organs,” Doc announced after treating the stab wound and sealing it with bandages. “He’ll be fine, though.”

  “Okay, good,” Martin said.

“I’ll leave him to you. I need to see to the others. There are too many injured and far too little doctors,” Doc said, placing a hand on his shoulder. “The paramedics are coming soon.”

“I’m a vet, but I know basic first-aid,” chimed Declan.

Doc nodded in approval. “I’ll get one of our wolves to assist you.

Once Declan and Doc left, and certain Dino would recover, Martin could breathe easier.

The battle was over. Around the campsite, people were seeing to each other’s injuries. Darkfall wolves shifted back to human form and started calming down the humans. He saw Raul and Logan to one side, talking, and he was happy to see both made it out fine.

Corpses of the hunters and mercenaries littered the ground. It looked like none made it out alive to tell their bosses about what happened. The battle with Alpine Industries and the Order of the Knife was far from over, but Martin was just glad to live through another day.

Relieved, Martin sat beside Dino, his back against the tree. He reached for Dino’s hand. Dino was still unconscious, but Martin wanted him to know he was there and never leaving. He gave Dino’s fingers a squeeze.

Exhaustion hit him then. The night felt endless. At some point, he didn’t think they would make it out alive. Closing his eyes, Martin smiled, feeling Dino squeeze his digits back. Was that a reflex action?

When he opened his eyes again, he caught flecks of orange and yellow in the horizon. Dawn. The sight took his breath away.

  “Dino, look,” he said excitedly.

Dino didn’t respond, but when Martin checked for a pulse, Dino was sleeping. Heck, his mate even snored a little. Chuckling, Martin relaxed again. It didn’t matter. Once Dino was better, they could watch more sunrises like this together.

  Chapter Ten

“Where do you want these, babe?” Dino asked.

Martin knew he should be helping out instead of trying to make excuses just to catch a glimpse of the broad muscles of Dino’s back and his tight ass in those jeans. He cleared his throat and waved to the living room, or what would be their living room.

“Take a break with me, Dino. Remember your shoulder and side?” Martin asked.

He sat on one of the folding plastic chairs, nursing a beer. The chairs and the cheap table were temporary until they managed to match all the furniture in their new apartment. If it were up to Dino, Martin knew his mate would simply clobber up the basics necessities without giving a second thought about aesthetics.

Oh, Martin loved Dino but needed to put one foot down in building their new home. Not surprisingly, Dino gave him free rein over choosing the furniture.

“I was shot a month ago,” Dino reminded him.

Four weeks ago, things seemed so uncertain. How time flew. Logan and Raul got the dream wedding they wanted, and Martin and Dino got matching suits to show for it. Tension still existed in the Darkfall pack, but it looked like the pack was still waiting for the humans to make the first move. All they could do for now was live each day to the fullest. That was Martin’s philosophy anyway. Sooner or later, war would come knocking on their doorstep. By then, they would all be ready. Besides, Martin wasn’t worried, not with Dino by his side.

The gorgeous man set down the box before joining him and grabbing one of the six-pack beers Martin bought earlier. Dino sighed.

“Wished we had a refrigerator,” Dino grumbled.

“I asked you if you wanted to shop for kitchen equipment the other day,” Martin reminded him.

“Well, it took you hours to pick the right bed, how long would it take to outfit an entire kitchen?” Dino asked. The big wolf didn’t sound irritated though, but the opposite. Dino shot him an amused look.

“The bed’s the most important part, besides all the king-
size bed available all looked like queens.”

“Oh, I’m not complaining given we’re going to be spending a lot of time in bed.” Dino wiggled his eyebrows suggestively at Martin, making him laugh. Then Dino looked at him a little more seriously. Even now, four weeks since they started officially dating, Dino’s hungry look still sent shivers down his spine, shivers of the good sort.

Sitting so close, Dino easily tugged at him. Setting his beer down, Martin got off his seat and straddled Dino’s lap instead. Pulling their mouths together, Dino gave him a mind-numbing kiss, full of heat and roughness, but Martin liked it just fine. Looping his hands around Dino’s neck, Martin responded, opening wide so Dino could slip his tongue down his throat.

Martin groaned. He could feel Dino’s sweat-slicked skin under the thin fabric of the shirt he wore. Wanting their skin to touch, Martin touched the hem of Dino’s shirt. His breath hitched when Dino grabbed his wrists.

“I want to see more,” Martin protested.

“Say please. Tell me how much you want me.”

“Someone’s in a playful mood day,” Martin teased.

Dino laughed and stole a quick kiss on his mouth again. “I’m not hearing anything, little wolf.”

  “No way.”

Dino slipped his hand between their bodies. Martin groaned when Dino gave his dick a squeeze through the fabric of his shorts. “Look how hard you are for me already. I know why you purposely took a break, to watch me. What a pervy mate I have.”

“You’re so full of yourself,” Martin replied.

In response, Dino flicked the top button of his shorts and unzipped it. Martin swallowed when Dino pulled out his prick, already standing half-mast. The conniving bastard began moving his hand up and down his member.

Martin knew how things would go from here. Dino would keep on tormenting him until he heard Martin plead. Martin didn’t mind begging. Judging from personal experience, all this denial made the sex all the more explosive later.

Still keeping their gazes locked, Dino thumbed away the pre-cum on his cockhead, lifted his digit to his lips, and licked away Martin’s seed. Martin swallowed, incredibly turned on.

“I want you,” Martin said, but he wasn’t finished. “I love you.”

Dino didn’t look startled. A grin spread across his face. “I fucking love you, too, little wolf.”

Once Dino released his lips, Martin tugged off Dino’s shirt, licking his lips at the sight of Dino’s bared torso. He traced the lingering scar left behind by the bullet.

“These clothes are in the way,” Dino remarked.

“They need to go,” Martin agreed.

No other words were needed. They rose to their feet to quicken the process. Within moments, they were naked. Martin knew what he wanted. He knelt in front of Dino and Dino automatically speared his fingers through his hair.

When Dino nudged his prick between his lips, Martin was eager to start. He loved giving Dino head, savored the moments when he held Dino’s most intimate bit in his mouth captive and hearing sounds of pleasure come from his mate.

Taking his time, Martin licked away the pre-cum across Dino’s tip with relish. He tongued the slit, swirled around the head, all the while keeping one hand on Dino’s balls to apply slight pressure. He licked Dino from crown to balls, savoring the taste of his mate. Dino let out a pleased groan.

A month may have passed, yet they knew each other’s bodies better than their own just after a day. Even so, the fire between them never ebbed but burned only stronger. Dino reached for his left nipple and gave it a pinch. With his mouth still full of Dino’s dick, Martin managed a muffled moan. The slight pain made him incredibly aroused. His cock twitched between his legs.

Martin took Dino’s prick between his lips, sucking hard. Dino moved his hand from hair to his cheek, gaze never leaving his. It was always like this between them, intense and passionate as if they could never get enough of each other.

“Baby, let me take over,” Dino said, voice harsh.

Martin relaxed so Dino could fuck his mouth. Dino’s thrusts were steady, and his mate finally found a rhythm which he liked. Soon enough, Dino growled, held his hair and erupted, emptying his seed down Martin’s throat. Martin swallowed and was proud of himself for not spilling a drop.

“Good job, baby,” Dino said after. “Now it’s my turn to reward you. Lie on your back, on the table.”

Martin blinked. Dino helped him up to his feet. Did he hear his mate right?

“The table?” Martin asked for confirmation.

“Don’t make me repeat myself, little wolf.”

The command in Dino’s voice made him clamber off the table.

“Are you sure this old thing can take my weight?” Martin asked. Dino laughed, pressing a hand on his belly.

“Don’t worry, the table’s old, but it’s sturdy and made of solid oak.”

“Sure, but it belongs in an antique store,” Martin muttered.

“Enough about the furniture, baby.” Dino looked thoughtful, eyeing his dick. Martin swallowed when Dino gave it a squeeze. He nearly came then but remembered Dino hadn’t given him permission. Dino continued, “Unless talking about interiors does it for you?”

“Don’t be silly.” Martin tugged Dino down until their mouths together.

Heat surged back down his throat. Dino went for his dick again and began pumping him. Martin let out a croak when Dino pinched the tip.

“Go on, baby. Shoot all over my fingers,” Dino commanded.

That was so hot. The room fell away from his line of sight as Dino hurled him over the edge. Martin let out a whimper, followed by a shuddering cry as he spilled his spunk all over Dino’s waiting fingers.

“Good job, little wolf.” Dino put his wet digits to Martin’s mouth, and Martin eagerly licked them away. He noticed he left trails of his seed across Dino’s stomach and ribs. Seeing what he looked at, Dino swiped the cum there and licked his own hand dry.

Martin felt his face heating up. “Sometimes I suspect you enjoy making me blush.”

“Red’s such a sexy color on you,” Dino pointed out. “Stay there while I get the lube.”

Dino entered the bathroom and came back with lube.

“We’re still missing some toiletries, and you have lube?” Martin asked.

“For emergencies,” Dino replied, approaching the table once more.

A smile appeared at the corner of Martin’s lips.

“How do you want it, little wolf?” Dino asked, tracing circles on his thigh.

“I get to choose?” Martin asked, unable to hide his astonishment.

“I’m going to count to three. Once I reach the final number, timer’s up,” Dino warned.

  “One. Two—”

“Bend me over the table. Ride me hard.” Martin couldn’t believe the words came out of his mouth.

  “Oh, I like that.”

Dino helped him off the table and bent him over the wood so Martin’s upper body rested on the surface while his ass remained thrust up in the air. Wanting Dino inside him, Martin parted his thighs. His cock started to perk up again, incredibly aroused by being taken this way. He felt Dino moving in, the tip of Dino’s prick leaving trails of pre-cum against his inner thigh.

Martin moaned. “Baby, please. I need you inside me. Own my body all over again.”

“And your heart, who does that belong to?” Dino teased, working lubricant into Martin’s puckered opening. His mate pushed a finger in and then a second.

“You know the answer to that,” Martin murmured. He had trouble focusing, with Dino’s fingers inside him.

  “Remind me anyway.”

“Yours, my heart and body belong to you,” Martin rasped.

Dino curled his finger and brushed against Martin’s gland. A gasp tore out of Martin. He wiggled his ass a little, earning him a playful smack on the ass that made him jump.

“Behave or I won’t do it again,” Dino reprimanded.

  Martin urged himself to s
tay still, but he whimpered again when Dino reached for his prostate once more.

  “Dino, enough teasing. Please.”

“I can’t wait to be in you, too, baby,” Dino answered.

After applying more lube into his ass, Dino rubbed his tip against his opening. Martin groaned. Thankfully, Dino pushed in, slow and steady. He knew Dino liked to enter him this way so Martin could feel every delicious inch disappearing into his ass. Finally, Dino sheathed himself fully inside him, huge and steel hard. Martin felt the slight burn of Dino’s entry, but pretty soon, Dino would send his mind flying.

“Feel me in you, little wolf?” Dino asked.

“All I can think of is you.”

  “Good. Are you ready?”

“Fuck me hard, love,” Martin begged.

Dino did just that. His mate picked up a steady rhythm and soon began pushing in and out of Martin. Needing something to hold on to, Martin clawed the table. The force of Dino’s thrusts sent the table vibrating, but Martin wanted more.

  “Faster, baby.”

Dino picked up the pace, leaving them both panting.

  “So good,” Martin murmured.

Each time Dino entered his body, their beasts and souls touched. He could sense their two wolves twining around each other. Soon, they would become one. Dino gripped his hips tighter. His mate must have shifted the angle of his thrusts because the next time Dino entered him, Dino brushed against his sweet spot.

Gasping, Martin dug his fingernails into the wood. Unrelenting, Dino aimed for his gland repeatedly. At the same time, Dino reached for his prick and started to stroke.

“Come together, baby. Do it now,” Dino ordered.

Martin groaned, relieved by the command. He was certain he wouldn’t last any longer. Dino hammered into him and at the same time, gave his balls a squeeze. That had been enough for the pressure building inside Martin to break. Head reeling, Martin screamed out Dino’s name as he came hard and fast. Dino pushed into him once more before letting out a triumphant growl and emptying his spunk inside Martin’s ass.
