The Billionaire Game 2

I moaned into his mouth, grinding into his touch and feeling the length of his cock harden against my thigh, his other hand hitching up my skirt.

“Oh God,” I mumbled against his mouth. “Oh God…” I slid down his body, taking his pants down with me, and knelt in front of him, taking his cock into my mouth, gliding my tongue up his hard length from base to tip.

“Oh, that is so good,” Asher ground out.

“Mmm,” I agreed, rolling his tip across my tongue before sucking his shaft into the back of my throat. He speared back and forth, letting me deep-throat him, growing harder as I moaned into his thrusts.

“God, Kate, stop. You’re gonna make me come.”

I paused, still on my knees, my hand still wrapped around his hot, throbbing dick. I bit my swollen lips and flashed a wicked smirk as he watched me continue to stroke him. “Isn’t that the whole point?” I flicked my tongue out and rasped it across his head, and he groaned.

“Need you,” he grunted, pulling me to my feet and spinning me around to brace my hands against the mirror.

A rough tug on my panties was the only warning before he thrust his slick, hard cock into me, his fingers sliding down to tease at my clit as he stroked deep and fast.

“Fuck,” I whispered, shoving my hips back, and he groaned; I could see his eyes closed in the mirror before me, and hot damn, I loved it.

“Damn, Katie, I’m not gonna last two minutes with you,” he growled, pumping his cock into me, opening his eyes now to watch my breasts bounce in the mirror.

“I don’t need two minutes,” I gasped, clenching my pussy tight around him, pushing my hips back to take as much of his full length as I could. God, that rhythm. So sweet, so hard. “Bet you—dinner—I make you go f—”

And then his cock found my g-spot and I barely bit back a shriek as I came, hard and fast, seeing stars. Asher thrust again, harder, spilling inside me with a groan that had me already shivering in anticipation of next time. I tried to catch my breath, fanning my flushed cheeks with my hand. Shame on whoever gave quickies a bad name.

“I guess I owe you dinner,” I said when I felt like I could talk without sounding like a porn star.

“We’ll have a private celebration later,” he said with a grin so criminal it could have been locked away for life, his fingers trailing up my back and leaving me with goosebumps. His expression sobered slightly as he smoothed down my dress, handed me my panties, and zipped himself back up. “Also, there are some things I need to talk to you about.”

“Later,” I commanded, and he obeyed, leaning forward to kiss me once more.

If anyone noticed that my hair and clothes were a little disheveled, they took it for the result of running around making sure everything at the party was going perfectly. And everything was going perfectly.

  Until Brody Dalton showed up.

I knew something was wrong the second he came through the door; there was a break in the volume near him, as if people had stopped speaking for a second, startled. Then I caught the scent of alcohol, and I knew why. Brody stumbled, catching at a table for support and knocking a dozen ivory silk teddies to the ground.

Oh, no. Oh no no no. I quickly made my way towards him, ready to gently suggest he take his celebrating elsewhere, and was glad to see that Asher was also making a beeline towards his competitor and supposed buddy.

But it was strange, because Asher didn’t seem particularly glad when he saw me.

He gave me a sharp ‘back to the party’ gesture, and I turned to go, figuring that he’d get it until control, when—

“Gotta con—cong—gotta ‘gratulate you, man. You did it. Didn’t think you could do it. But you did—you won. You won the bet!”

I turned back, interested. Asher had said something about a falling out over a business deal. But had it actually been gambling?

Speaking of Asher, why did he look so…panicky? He was grabbing at Brody’s arms, rumpling the disheveled shirtsleeves even further. This was less ‘discreetly escorting off the premises’ and more ‘bouncer at an illegal bar.’ And people were starting to look. This was not the vibe we wanted to give off at our grand opening.

I swiftly returned to the scene. “A bet, Brody?” I said, trying to keep my voice both low and neutral. “That sounds interesting. Why don’t we go outside and you can tell us all about it?”

“Didn’t he tell you?” Brody grinned, a grotesquerie of teeth and stinking breath.

“Now is not the time, or the place—” Asher began.

“Oh, b’ I think it is,” Brody insisted, his volume growing, “since the bet was all about this place, and you guys getting it ready on time.”

“What?” I said automatically. My hand went out, grabbing at a nearby table for support.

“Asher’s not the only one with vision,” Brody said. “So we hadda bet. Lil wager. Who could take the most no-hope business and make it inna a succ—suc—sussess.” He wavered slightly, almost knocking Asher over.

I barely noticed. I could only hear two words, over and over in my brain.

No hope. No hope. No hope.

The words circled around my brain like water in a drain.

“It’s not what it sounds like,” Asher was insisting.

Oh God, I wanted it not to be. I wanted it more than anything. If it was just a little bet, if it was some idle wager that didn’t mean anything… “How much?”

A bet. He’d done it all on a bet. Is this what rich people did for fun? Still, if it wasn’t that much, it might not mean anything…“How much?

  Asher looked away. “Ten.”

Relief washed through me. “Ten dollars?”

Asher shook his head. I couldn’t see his face. “Ten million.”

  I froze.

Brody’s leering triumphant grin seemed to expand until it was the only thing I could see. It was the only real thing in the world; the party and the customers and the success—they were all lies. They were all bought for me. They were tissue paper and veneer, and they would fall apart in seconds without Asher to prop them up.

I hadn’t really achieved anything at all.

And our relationship—what I’d thought was our relationship—it was just more manipulation to get me to follow all of Asher’s big money business plans. And I’d bought it. I’d bought it all, had it wrapped up in pink tissue paper with a pretty bow, and then skipped home swinging it in my hands.

  That fucking bastard.

“The bet is beside the point, Katie, it always has been—” Asher was trying to protest.

“You never cared.” I heard my voice as if it were coming from far away. “It was all just—you were only ever protecting your investment. Whatever it takes.”

“That’s not true—” Asher started to say, but I couldn’t stand to listen to his lies any longer.

And that’s when I broke two of my biggest rules: I burst into tears in front of dozens of people, and I ran from a confrontation.

One of my shoes fell off, and I could hear Asher calling out after me. But I kept running, tears streaming down my face, my heart in a thousand sharp pieces that stabbed me over and over.

I never wanted to see Asher Young again.
