Something So Right

“I did see that, but then I came to get your mommy so she can see.”

“Momma, it was so big. Cooper, can we habe ice cream?”

“We gotta ask your mom first. Mommy, can we have ice cream?”

“Sure, baby, we can all have ice cream. Why don’t you tell Matthew it’s time to go? We can swing by DQ on the way home.”

“Yes,” she says, wiggling out of Cooper’s arm, running to tell her brother.

“It was nice to see you, Sam. See you at the rink,” Cooper says, pulling me away with me turning around to wave.

“I can’t believe you just did that,” I hiss at him.

“Babe, he needs to know you will never go out with him. I’m doing that guy a favor by always asking you out and getting rejected. The shit stings the ego.”

“Really, how many times have you been rejected?”

“Never, but I’m not Sam. So, are we really stopping at DQ because I can’t lie to your kids?”

“You’re unbelievable, you don’t even reason like a normal person.” I shake my head side to side. “Let’s go before you whip your dick out to see which one is bigger.”

“Babe, he can’t win there either. You’ve seen my dick. It’s fucking huge.”

“Oh. My. God. You did not just say that.”

  “I don’t lie, babe, it’s a fact.”

“Mommy, Cooper, let’s go. Matthew is in the car.”

And with that, we say our goodbyes and head out to DQ where Cooper buys Allison the biggest cone with sprinkles.

  Chapter Eleven

I don’t know if it’s me but this week has been going at a snail’s pace. I just want this week to be over. It may be the fact that I will be having a date date with Cooper Saturday night. Oh, who am I kidding, it is exactly that.

This week has been rough in the orgasm department because the kids are here. My vagina may be a magnetic pull to his dick, but I’m not doing that knowing the kids can catch us. I mean, I’m almost thirty-five. I think I can wait a couple of days. Okay, fine, I have been using BOB in the shower with the door locked. Dude, it’s been a while, so don’t you go judging.

I’m sitting at my dining room table, tossing around the food on the plate, not paying attention to the conversation. I’m thinking about dessert, I’m thinking about him eating dessert, I’m thinking he should eat dessert daily.

“Babe,” he speaks up, waking me from my daydream. It’s been four days since he came over for breakfast, and he hasn’t missed supper once. He either shows up with burgers or a pie or today it was just because.

“Yeah, sorry, my mind was somewhere else.”

“I said I saw this restaurant away from town called the Lobster Trap. I was thinking we could all go tomorrow night. It looks nice. What do you say?”

I sit up straight, trying to hide my hammering heart.

“We really don’t, like, go there,” I say, hoping he just drops the subject and picks another restaurant.

“I know. I was wondering if you wanted to go there?” he says, looking at me, not understanding what my words mean.

“We don’t like going there as in we are never going there.” I try to continue when Allison speaks up in a soft voice.

“I thought you didn’t want my mommy to cry.” She looks over at him with big tears in her blue eyes.

“Sweetheart, I never want your mommy to cry,” he says, caressing her face, when Matthew speaks up.

“We don’t go there because that is where Dad takes his ‘girlfriend.’ It was where he used to take my mom. But he didn’t care to change, so now we don’t go there, as in ever. With Dad or without Dad,” he says a little harsh, so I look over at him and my baby girl and try to do damage control.

“Okay, why don’t we go anyway? I mean, it’s a big restaurant. I don’t think we shouldn’t go. It’ll be fine. It was one time, and I was just shocked to see him there, that is all.”

“You mean, you were shocked to see him making out with his girlfriend at the table.”

“Matthew,” Cooper warns, “that’s enough. I’m sorry, babe, I didn’t know or else I would have never suggested it. But you are right”—he looks over at me, grabbing my hand, and squeezing it for support—“it’s a big restaurant. I think we should go.”

“I’ve got to use the bathroom.” I hightail it to my bathroom in my room with the hopes of not freaking out. It’s easier said than done. Then I hear a soft knock at the door.

  “Parker, open up.”

I don’t even fight it because I know if I do in the end I always lose with him.

He comes in, looking over at me. I’m in my master bathroom where I spend most of my downtime. When I bought the house it was my second renovation project. My first was the kitchen, because let’s face it, as a mom you spend ninety-five percent of your time in there. I had gutted the old bathroom, having replaced the old tub with a two-person claw tub that’s sitting near the bay window. There is enough space for you to look out, and I have hanging candle lanterns near the windows. It’s rustic romantic, not that I have done anything in that tub. I also have two sink vanities that face the tub in a white color. The only colorful thing is the marble countertop, which is grayish blue, giving the stark white a soft feel. Beside the tub is my walk-in shower with eight jets and a rainfall shower. I also have a bench, which got me many raised eyebrows from the construction workers, but in reality it was more for keeping the shampoo on it or having Allison sit on it while I finished showering.

When Cooper walks in, I continue to lean on my side of the vanity, which is closest to the tub. They are actually both mine, but I don’t use the other one. It sits empty.

“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have reacted that way. You didn’t know. I just haven’t stepped foot near that restaurant since I found him making out with her. I mean, it wasn’t a shock. I knew they were together. What killed me is, he never did that with me. He never lost his mind and just had to devour me like that. Plus, it was the first time the kids saw him with someone other than me, so we don’t go there.” I’m staring at my feet now, not wanting to look in his eyes.

“Babe, he threw away gold. He had everything a man can possibly have, and he threw it away.”

  “Obviously not everything.”

He makes his way to me, nudging my chin up to look into his baby blues. “Everything, babe.” His lips find mine with his tongue seeking entrance, and I let him enter. I don’t even notice when he lifts me to place my ass on the vanity. I just circle my legs around his waist, gripping his shirt, hoping he gets closer to me.

“Babe,” he says softly, kissing my cheek, “you, we can’t”—kissing my chin, and I’m such a hussy that I turn my head to give him access to my neck—“make him”—he kisses my neck, trailing his tongue out when he gets near my ear—“take that from”—he nips my earlobe with his teeth, making a shock run straight to my nipples—“you,” he says just when he reaches up to palm both breasts, my bra not hiding my response to him.

“We are going”—he runs his tongue down again right to my collarbone—“there tomorrow.” He pinches my nipples, my eyesight dazed with need.

“Cooper,” I whisper, dragging him closer to me with my feet, making my pussy meet his erection.

“Baby,” he hisses because now I’m playing this game, too. My hands have made their way under his shirt, my nails rubbing his abs softly till I’m pinching his nipples also. “Babe, the kids are downstairs,” he says while he rubs his erection against my pussy, sending shocks to my clit.

“We can’t do this,” I say, kissing his lips, biting his lower lip, then softly sucking it in and matching his thrust. “The kids could come upstairs.”

He hovers over me, his hands on both sides of the vanity. If I didn’t know better, it looks like he’s fucking me on the counter, but all parts are covered, sadly.

I hear him hiss in my ear all the while rubbing up and down straight to my center.

“Babe, if I move your panties to the side”—he m
oves up—“your pussy will be dripping for me, won’t it?” He’s moving down. “Your clit must be tight now”—moving up—“calling to me to rub it in little circles.” Moving down. “I want to take it in my mouth and suck it in”—moving up—“at the same time putting two fingers in you.” Moving down.

  “Cooper, I’m going to come.”

“Babe, you want to come.” He has now thrust up and is moving side to side, giving my clit just enough pressure, and with the lace of my panties it won’t be long till I’m pushed over the edge. But if I’m going, he is coming with me.

“I want to come on your face.” I’m moving with him. “That is what I was thinking about at the table.” Rubbing side to side, his breathing is getting more ragged for him also.

“I can’t wait for you to fuck me,” I whisper in his ear. “I want you to fuck me hard, baby. Do you want to fuck me hard?” This is making him harder and bigger. “I want to come on your cock.” Oh my. “I want to squeeze your cum from your cock into my pussy. Will you give it to me?”

“All of me,” he says and thrusts hard, making me throw my head back, moaning, but it’s caught by his mouth. I come without him even touching me, still rubbing my pussy on his covered cock. I’m wondering how when he suddenly groans into my mouth, and I know he’s coming, too. We rub each other to ride out the orgasm that has rocked my world. Our mouths break apart with us panting.

“Babe, you make me feel like I’m sixteen again coming in my pants.”

I giggle at him. “I want you in me.” I’m not hiding it anymore.

“Soon, babe. We have to get back downstairs, but fuck me...that look in your eyes...you need to go and leave now, before I just pound into you.”

He steps away, trying not to look at me. I giggle, leaving the bathroom. Turning back, I try to peek at him cleaning himself. “Babe, go tell the kids we are going out tomorrow,” he growls, while I walk away giggling and try to convince the kids about how much fun tomorrow will be.

  Chapter Twelve

I can’t believe I’m doing this. I’m actually going to the place I said I would never go to. I’m stepping foot into the Lobster Trap after seeing James sucking face with her. I vowed to never go back.

I have decided that I will also never say never. I have also decided that I’m going to dress up tonight, because let’s face it, if I’m running into the ex it’s always better to do it looking good.

So I put on some makeup, some brown liner, and mascara to make my green eyes pop out. I’m also wearing a new dress. Got to bring out the guns if you’re going to war.

It’s a white little number one piece dress. It is tight-fitting on the breast area with a gold spaghetti belt and comes down to hug all my curves, falling just above my knees. I’ve curled my hair a little to give it volume. The gold accessories I have added complete the package. Actually, my strappy gold stilettos seal the package. Yes, they are super high, and yes, my feet pinch in these shoes, but they are sexy, and I’m wearing them, pain be damned.

Cooper shows up right on time, and I’m excited to see him dressed up for once. I spray my perfume on me before heading out of the bathroom.

I’m at the stairs when I see him, and holy fuck is he fucking hot. He is standing at my front door, holding Allison in his arms. She is in her favorite white dress with pink sparkles all over, folded over white ruffled socks, and her pink glittered Mary Janes.

But what gets to me is this man, standing there wearing charcoal pants that are molded onto him, his Hugo Boss black belt, and a light pink buttoned-up shirt. His hair is just freshly washed and styled like he just ran his hands through it. I would like nothing more than to have dessert right now, and as if he senses me there, he looks away from Allison and finds me. His mouth goes from a smirk to a smile and that look, it’s a look that I know is filled with lust.

I make my way down the stairs, calling out for Matthew.

“Hey, babe. Allison, isn’t Mommy beautiful like that?”

“I habe a dress, too,” she says, running her hands down her dress. “I habe pink shoes with sparkles.”

“I’m one lucky guy that I get two beautiful girls with me tonight.”

“Can I habe ice cream?” She leans in and tries to whisper, but if you have ever had a five-year-old, that whisper is never whispered.

Matthew comes out dressed in his Sunday best, and he is hating every single second of this.

“Next time I vote pizza!” I know that he is nervous about tonight. I would be lying to say I’m not. But let’s be honest, what is the worst that can happen? At least I’m showing up with a hot dude.

The kids walk outside in front of us while I lock the door, feeling heat at my back.

“Babe, I don’t see any panty lines in that dress.”

I look over my shoulder, smirking. “Really? Well, that could be because”—I lean in—“I’m not wearing any.” I don’t have to stretch much to get to his neck before I walk off to the car. I’m dragged back by my hand.

“Give me your fucking keys, open that door, and go put some fucking panties on. I’m having a hard time trying to not walk around without wanting to pound into you, so get your pretty little ass into that house and put some motherfucking panties on now.” He is hissing and growling all at the same time, and if he wasn’t spitting fire I would totally prolong this fight.

“Calm down there, Hulk, they are called seamless thongs. And it’s skin color so you wouldn’t tell. I promise you my pussy is covered.” I snicker at him “At least for tonight, but I can’t guarantee tomorrow night!” And with those parting words I walk to his car, swinging my hips just a tad while he curses right behind me.

When we get there, I scan the parking lot for James’s car. So far we are in the clear. We are almost at the door. Allison has opted to be in the middle of the boys, but I’m sure it’s because she asked if they can swing her up while walking. Which they do twice before her giggling stops them.

I’m on the other side of Cooper with our hands intertwined when I hear someone call Matthew’s name, and I feel my spine stiffen. Cooper feels it also. When we turn to the right, we are face to face with James and her.

James leans in to give Matthew a hug, but you can tell he is nervous as he doesn’t do anything but stand there.

“Hey, buddy, and is that my beautiful princess?”

“Daddy, look, my shoes habe sparkles. Cooper said I’m beautiful just like Mommy.”

Allison looks at James while smiling up at Cooper.

“Oh, I’m sorry. Let me introduce myself. I’m James, and this is Tiffany.”

Tiffany. Just her name makes me want to stab her in the eyeball with my shoe. Ugh.

  “Hi, I’m Cooper, Parker’s boyfriend.”

Um, WTF, did we not discuss this?

  “Boyfriend,” he says, surprised.

Why the fuck is he surprised? Dude, I’m fucking hot.

He takes a moment to look my way, and even his eyes are shocked. That’s right, buddy, I rock this outfit.

“Parker, you look, wow. Um...” he stammers.

“Hi, James, Tiffany.” I nod at them. I was totally going to ignore her, because, well, I hate her guts, but my guy is way hotter than hers, so.

“Parker, you look lovely and you, princess Allison, you’re just as beautiful,” Tiffany says, and I’ve heard her voice before, but I just noticed how whiny it is.

“If you guys can excuse us. I promised my woman a night out, so we’ll see you tomorrow when you get the kids,” Cooper states before turning to walk away.

“Bye, Daddy. Bye, Tiffany,” Allison says cheerfully as she drags the boys to the front door. Matthew just looks at the ground not knowing what to do or say.

“Hey, buddy, it’s over. You can breathe. It’s all good,” Cooper whispers over to him.

“Mom?” he asks, but I don’t answer because he sees me with a huge ass smile on my face, and I know he knows I’m okay.

We are luckily seated on the other side of James and T
iffany, so we all ease out of our nervousness.

Cooper has ordered a beer, I have my martini, the kids have their Shirley Temples, extra cherries for Allison, and we toast to new beginnings.

The boys talk about hockey while Allison is coloring the placemat when I get a text message. I’m not even thinking about it before I pull out my phone and see that it’s from James.

  Meet me near the washrooms!!!

What the ever-loving fuck is this all about? I look over at Cooper and notice that he saw the message when I excuse myself. Walking to the bathroom, I take in the sight of Tiffany looking at the menu. And for the first time I don’t have the bitterness anymore. Am I pissed that she broke up my family? Yes. But, if he was actually a man, he would have never gone there.

I see James leaning against the wall near the bathrooms and brace myself for what is to come.

“What’s up, James?” I ask, not really caring if he actually needs anything. I’m annoyed if I’m being completely honest.

“Parker, I wanted to ask if maybe you wanted to have dinner with the kids and me tomorrow. Tiffany is going away for the weekend, so I was thinking we could grab some pizza. I could maybe come over. We could eat outside or we could go out.”

“Excuse me a second. Let me see if I got this straight. You want to have pizza with me and the kids tomorrow night because your girlfriend is going out of town. You did not just text me while I was on a date to ask me this, did you?”

“Parker, seeing you here, it stumped me a little. I wasn’t ready for you to come back here. I wasn’t ready for me to see you with someone else.”

“Get used to it, because from what I’ve heard the kids love it here,” Cooper’s voice interjects, and he’s angry. “I also admit I like when Parker dresses up for me, but truth be told it’s what is underneath that I love more. Of course I don’t have to tell you what a good thing you threw away.”

He leans down, kissing me with tongue, not long but just enough for James to know that this isn’t just a date.
