Damn. “Looks like it’s time to refill our inventory.”

Djimon nodded as Claire ran back toward us.

“Things are changing now aren’t they?” I asked before she got to us.

“They’re getting married!” She clasped her hands in excitement when she got to us. “Please tell me you have more than the one suit, Knight.”

“Wait… What?” I asked, looking confused at Djimon.

He raised his hands and gave me the I’m staying out of this gesture.

I looked back at Claire. “What’s wrong with my suit?”

She grabbed my hand and led me to the porch as fast as my cane allowed.

“Well, for one thing, no. Just no. We’re getting you a new one. There is no way I’m going with you to the exhibition opening the museum rescheduled dressed like that, let alone the wedding,” she said as I glanced back at Djimon.

“Indeed they are, Captain!” Djimon called out. “Indeed they are!”

  Afterword

And here we are at The End. I’m sure an intelligent, good-looking person like yourself has more important things to do at this point and so I will not take up much more of your time (that is, until the second book in the series is released).

Thanks for reading. If you enjoyed it, or found it mildly amusing or entertaining (or purchased it accidentally, or for the purpose of pirating it, or have absolutely no idea how you ended up with it) please leave a review on Amazon. You have my most sincere and personal thanks for each and every review. The more successful this endeavor is, the faster the sequel can be released. (And the one after that)

Speaking of which, if anyone is interested in being notified when the next book comes out, I’ve set up a simple mailing list you can join for just that purpose. (And very little else, because I hate signing up for things and then getting tons of email I don’t want. Also, I’m too busy to bother you) Sign-up here!

And if anyone wants to discuss the story, or the upcoming sequel, or just wants to shoot the breeze, or point out a mistake they found (or just want to generally rail against the world, or me personally, I’m cool with that) find me on Twitter and Facebook.
