Baby Bootcamp

His question was cut off as she stood on tiptoes and leaned across Kaleigh to kiss him. The baby gurgled and began to fuss.
“Why don’t you put her in her crib?” she whispered in his ear.
He shivered. “Okay,” he said. He took Kaleigh over to the crib and laid her in it and patted her tummy until she went back to sleep.
Faith watched him with her baby and knew that he already loved her as if she were his own. He truly was an amazing man.
When he came back over to stand in front of her, the tender expression on his face faded into a frown. “Do you think we’re not compatible?”
She wrapped her arms around his neck. “Well,” she drawled, nibbling on his ear, “I’d hate for us to get married and then discover that we don’t fit together.”
Matt’s eyes went soft. “Somehow I don’t think that’ll happen.”
“Still—” Faith smiled.
“But Faith. It’s only been a week—seven days. Are you? Can you?” He stopped talking as her hands began sliding down his chest and abdomen to the button on his jeans.
“It is a little early for me, but I’ve been reading about—” her cheeks heated “—some of the things we can do.”
“Th-things?”
“There are quite a few, as long as we take it nice and slow,” she murmured, smiling as she unbuttoned his jeans and felt the proof of his desire for her.
“Nice and slow,” Matt muttered, as his hands slipped under her blouse and caressed her full breasts. Faith moaned with pleasure as they tightened in response to his firm, yet gentle, touch.
She took his hand and led him to her bed.
“I love you so much,” he whispered.
“I love you, too,” she responded, her lips brushing against his as he began to caress her lightly and intimately.
“You’re already turned on,” he said.
Faith chuckled softly. “It must be the anticipation of those five babysitters,” she murmured.
