Her dark orbs fell upon a large, makeshift leaf plate, like the one from last night, laying on the bed beside her, filled with colorful food. Her mouth watered. For a moment she wondered if it was meant for her.

Figuring Hunter didn’t have another captive lying around somewhere, she pulled the leaf closer to her. She dipped her finger into a pulpy pink mound, relieved that it tasted good when it touched her tongue.

She went about tasting the rest of the multicolor chunks upon the leaf. The purple one tasted a little too musty for her liking, so she left it untouched. She felt a little guilty, but by the time she ate the rest of what was on the leaf, she was too full to eat the purple fruit even if she wanted to.

That familiar morning call of nature had her getting up out of the bed and tiptoeing to the door. When she pushed it open, a shock jumped through her body and she nearly pissed her loincloth at the sight before her.

The beast from yesterday stood a few feet away, staring at her.

Finley screamed, pulling the door back and slamming down the wood latch as quickly as she could.

  Shit, shit, shit!

Her knees knocked together as she tried to hold her bladder while her fingers tightly held the latch down, not that it mattered much. If the creature wanted in, he just had to ram the door and she’d be on the menu.

  “Human?”

“Hunter!” she yelled through the door, rocking on the balls of her feet to try and make her body forget she had to pee.

  It wasn’t working very well.

“Watch out! He’s here! The thing that chased me yesterday!”

If the alien died, she wouldn’t last a day on this planet.

The door shook under her fingers and she shrieked, holding on tighter.

“Open the door,” he rumbled from the other side.

“Did you kill it?” she hopped from one foot to the other, slightly contemplating going in the corner of the cabin. She exhaled roughly, trying to calm down.

“Joh is my pet.” Did she detect amusement in his tone? “He won’t hurt you.”

  “Joh?” she repeated. “That beast?”

  “Yes.”

“He tried to eat me yesterday!”

“Joh likes to chase. You run, Joh chase.”

Finley debated this for a nanosecond before lifting the latch and slowly pushing the door open again.

Her eyes landed on Hunter as he walked over to the creature and rubbed his hand along the scruff of Joh’s neck.

  She tentatively stepped outside.

As much as she wanted to dive behind a tree before she messed herself, she kept calm. At Hunter’s curious look when her thighs squished together, she pointed to the bushes. “I have to go.”

Hunter nodded, making a strange sound at Joh. The creature turned and high tailed it out of the clearing. Immediately Finley did the same, in the opposite direction.

By the time she returned, Joh was back. She skirted him, locating the water pouch and rinsing her hands as best she could.

“We’ll leave soon,” Hunter told her.

  “How long will it take?”

“A week, maybe more, maybe less.”

  “A week?”

  He gave a curt nod.

Finley was quiet for a moment as she tried to stuff down the emotional outburst threatening to overtake her.

“Thank you,” she hesitated. “For the food.”

For a moment Hunter just stared at her, his lavender eyes glued to her dark ones. And then his hard expression faltered before he nodded once as if to say ‘you’re welcome’.

  CHAPTER THIRTEEN

“Can you turn around, please?” Fin twirled her finger as she asked.

She was standing ankle deep in the lagoon he’d taken her to the previous day. After he announced it was time to leave, she’d convinced him to take her to the water so she could bathe. If she thought about it, she hadn’t washed in six weeks.

Unless he’d bathed her before putting her in stasis.

She preferred to believe she was filthy.

Hunter’s brow dipped in unmistakable irritation. Crouching near the waters edge, he said, “I’ve seen your body.”

“Thank you, for that reminder,” she grumbled. “Now, turn around.”

  Nothing.

  She stood there, waiting.

He sighed. “Either you bathe yourself, or I will.”

  Hostility. Desire.

Oh, that look. It almost appeared as if he wanted her to fight him on this so he could manhandle her.

Fin grit her teeth and quickly untied the thin strap holding up her loincloth. She tossed it to the grass, lifted her chin, and hastily waded through the water to where it was deepest. Her knees bent as she sunk into the cool lagoon up to her shoulders.

  Fin refrained from moaning.

The sun had barely risen, but already the heat could be felt, promising another muggy day.

She dipped under the water, wetting her hair and scrubbing her face. It took some time as she picked out all the leaves, and broken pieces of twig that tangled her long tresses into a ratty mop.

She wondered how awful she must’ve appeared yesterday, interrogating Hunter, yelling at him, all while looking like something the jungle chewed up and spit back out.

The thought made her smirk before she dipped back under water to work out the tangles and stubborn knots. She really wished she had her hairband. He must’ve taken that too.

Finley finished scrubbing her body as best she could with only her hands and no soap, all the while keeping her back to her captor.

When she heard a splash, she whipped her head around, eyes landing on the alien.

  He was naked.

  Buck naked.

Her willful eyes dipped, landing on his standing cock.

  Oh sweet lord.

“Stay back!” she jabbed a finger at him, moving further away. Her foot slipped on a large stone, causing her arms to flail as she tried to catch herself and failed, dunking under water.

Hunter grasped her arm, pulling her up.

She sputtered, brushing water from her face as he crushed her against his chest.

  Hot, searing skin.

A hungry rumble vibrated his chest and tickled her skin. When she looked him in the eye, he dipped his face down to hers, those temping, full lips closing over her mouth.

  Did I just moan?

His fingers tangled into her wet hair, nails scratching against her skull as they grasped the tresses tightly and tugged.

  I just moaned.

Her nipples pebbled, pressing into the extremely hard, and hot skin and muscle of his chest as he stooped down to devour her mouth.

Their first kiss. Scorching, ravenous, hateful.

He kissed her with an animalistic lust, and she let him. Fin sucked and pulled on his lips, his tongue, like her life depended on it.

His hands moved down her body, like burning coals on every part of her skin he touched. They gripped the swell of her backside and then he was lifting her. Fin heard the water splashing as he moved, felt the soft jolts of his steps, but continued to be absorbed in his kiss.

Only when she felt the grass against her back did he break from her.

Her eyes fluttered open, darting down his lean, but muscled, body that hovered over her. That mouth moved over her wet skin, licking droplets of water from it, leaving goosebumps in its wake.

“Six weeks,” he groaned, that deep voice blanketing her body in chills. “Six weeks I’ve waited to have you again.”

His hands were everywhere, pinching, groping, tugging her flesh until she thought she’d come without any further stimulation.

Locks of his wild hair trailed her skin, tickling, overloading her senses. The ends brushed over her abdomen as his mouth dragged ever closer to her pussy.

Hunter’s tongue darted, dipping into her navel at the water that pooled there.

“Oh,” she breathed, fisting her fingers into the blades of grass around her as the anticipation made her
mouth water, and her back arch.

Fin struggled to get a hold of herself, but she couldn’t. She tried to grasp at her sanity, her good sense, as it continued to slip away just out of her reach. Hunter was her captor, not her lover, not her friend.

A cold-blooded kidnapper who planned to use her body for his own gain.

“Ah!” she yowled when his talented fingers trailed the seam of her pussy, sending her right mind into a downward spiral. As if that one gesture was the key, her thighs spilled open, inviting him in.

“That’s right, little human,” he groaned against the flesh of her inner thigh. “This pussy is mine.”

  Fin bit her bottom lip.

  “This body, is mine.”

  Oh heaven help me.

  “You are mine.”

  No!

Fin was no one’s. She belonged to no one!

Her thighs tightened, attempting to snap shut, but then his tongue lashed against her clitoris.

Colors burst to life, her vision jittered, and she wantonly bucked against his mouth.

“More,” she pleaded, unable to keep her body from squirming, her nails from digging into the grass. “More!”

  Another lash.

And then his mouth latched on, sucking, twirling his tongue, and giving her various forms of pressure that had her mind whirring with incoherent thoughts.

Fin rushed to the end goal, teetering, and then he pulled away.

She gasped, opening her eyes to see him go up on his knees.

“Don’t even think about coming yet,” he ground out, positioning his knees behind her thighs as he gripped her legs and angled himself toward her.

His colorful cock languidly slid over her clitoris, a new bout of chills raking her body, causing her to whimper with need.

It was his turn to moan as he wedged the top of his length at her opening and began to push into her.

“So tight,” he drew a sharp breath, as if in delicious agony while he continued to stretch her. “Take all of me.”

Finley’s mind began fritzing around the edge as he pulled back an inch only to sink further into her. Fingers tremoring, legs quivering, and pussy clenching.

  She could hardly see straight.

He pressed on until he could invade no more.

That ‘mmm’ grumbling from his chest as she felt his muscles contract against her skin, like he was trying to hold back spilling.

Fin bucked her hips against him, unable to stop herself. His breath hitched.

“Be still,” he growled, that delicious sound spurring her on as she bucked again.

His strong hands kneaded the flesh of her thighs before he inched back and thrust into her.

Fin’s mouth dropped open, a moan inescapable as her core shook and he rocked against that sensitive spot tucked inside her pussy.

“Oh god, oh g-” she choked, tearing at the grass in her fists. “I’m com-coming!”

“Ahhh!” he bellowed. “Don’t you dare!”

“C-can’t help it!” she stuttered, barely able to speak. Fin’s back arched, his cock spearing her as she tightened around him and burst at the seams.

  ****

Hunter shook, his muscles shivering as he was barely able to hold back his seed before her pussy began sucking and tightening around him.

  Leeshi, he was doomed.

He bucked twice more, his pent up seed blasting from him in blistering waves. His hands held fast upon her as his hips thrust as if they had a mind of their own.

So much seed, just for her.

He pulled out, grasping his spurting cock and unleashing the remainder of his spend upon her quivering belly.

When the last of chills released his muscles, he collapsed beside her to pant for air. He couldn’t remember if he’d ever come so hard in the last five years than in the last two times Finley had taken him into her body.

Hunter didn’t think so. It was the mark. His body knew she was his mate, and it pleasured his baser physical needs more than his logical mind.

His gaze slid her way, and she was stretching languidly like the diblo that soaked up the sun. His fingers twitched, wanting to touch her, pull her to him.

  Dammit.

He pushed himself upright abruptly, rinsing himself off in the lagoon before snatching up his ru’mi and fastening it with haste.

“Get up human,” he growled. “We’ve much ground to cover, and you’ve already given us a late start.”

  ****

  Finley’s momentary bliss shattered.

She blinked repeatedly, jolting upright and ignoring the ache of her lower body. The alien was back to his regular belligerent self, and her desire soaked mind quickly snapped back to reality.

“I’ve made us late? Ha!” she cried, dumbfounded. “You’re the one who started it, you lowbrow blockhead!”

His eyes narrowed menacingly, though she could’ve sworn she saw a hint of confusion at her words, but he seemed to gather it was an insult by the tone of her voice.

She stood, knees trembling as she willed her body to stomp toward the lagoon again to wash off his filth. Despite how blissfully right their coming together felt, all Fin could think was how dumb she’d been to let him use her.

Once she was back on land, she situated her flimsy loincloth and crossed her arms over her chest. Chin held high, she regarded him.

When he just stood there, glowering, Fin snapped, “Well? Are we leaving or what?”

  ****

They’d been walking the entire morning and Finley’s feet were beginning to really hurt. She stopped multiple times to pick burrs from her legs, and anywhere else they latched on. Hunter had redressed her stubbed toe before they began their trek, but it was so sore she could feel it pulsing.

“Why do you have two fathers? How is this possible?”

The silence broke, and she was surprised he deigned her worthy of his regard. But Fin could see his mind working, trying to figure out the logistics and she made a serious effort to keep from busting up.

Mainly because she refused to believe she was completely over her foul mood after earlier.

“Well, ya know, A goes into B, and then-”

  “Insufferable.”

  “You asked.”

  Fin smirked.

Silence fell, and they marched on.

Sometime later he said, “But which one’s your real father?”

It tickled her to think he’d been stewing on her parentage and trying to figure out how two males procreated.

  “Both.”

  “Human,” he warned.

“I’m serious,” she snickered, doing her best to wipe away her grin when he tossed a black look over his shoulder. “They took bone marrow from my dad Theo, and my dad Elex, and-”

  “Who took bone marrow?”

  “The doctors.”

He ‘mm’d, gesturing for her to continue.

“And then they whipped up little ol’ me.”

  “How were you born?”

This whole subject seemed to really confound him. That was alright, it was still relatively rare on Dor Nye, even though they’d perfected the trials -that started in a lab on Earth- two centuries ago.

“Well, since no one’s really bothered to market uterus implants for men,” she waved a hand, “my mother carried me to term, and viola! History.”

  He grunted.

  “Your mother has two mates?”

“Ehh, not exactly,” Finley shrugged. “She’s not really the relationship type of woman. She went to law school with my dad, Theo, way back when, and they got along, so… Anyway, when my dads asked her to be the surrogate, she accepted, and moved in. They’ve been a trio ever since.”

The alien made that sound again, and this time she got the suspicious idea he was impressed.

“Great, right? It’s a little thing called technology,” she jabbed. “Ever heard of it?”

  He ignored her.

A little into the afternoon she was struggling to stay upright, and each time she fa
ltered, Joh would head-butt her lower back like he was some kind of prison warden watching over his charge.

Thoughts of her modesty fell by the wayside as she realized traipsing through uneven jungle with her arms crossed over her chest was a bad idea. That, and what else did she have to hide now that she’d let the alien screw her brains out for the second time.

Initially she tried arranging her long hair over her chest to cover her breasts, like she saw in exotic photos and paintings, but that was a bust. The hair would fall to the sides, or her nipples would poke through, making the entire process moot. And it made her feel even warmer.

The sun was high in the sky from what she could see through cracks in the canopy by the time Hunter lead her to a small rushing river. He gestured for her to follow suit when he dipped his hands in and splashed his face.

Finley was nearly moaning with delight when the cool water touched her fingertips, and then her face. She began to wash off all the grime from the walk, pushing water over her arms and rubbing away.

Next were her feet. They were a bit red, a little swollen, and very dirty. Her lip curled in disgust at how awful they looked.

Hunter watched as she did all this. He was always watching her. It was more than a little unnerving. There was a strange, frowning slant to his face while she scrubbed her feet.

  “What?”

“Flesh is too weak,” he groused.

Fin plastered a fake smile to her lips, and then snidely said, “I’m sorry my ‘weak flesh’ is such an inconvenience for you. Where I’m from, we wear these nifty things called shoes.”

He was still frowning as he stood and walked into the bush. She gave a deep sigh, her lips flapping together while she sat there on the bank, letting her feet cool in the water. When he reappeared, he was dragging a primitive looking dugout canoe, a two-sided paddle inside.

  “We’re traveling on the river?”

  Hunter nodded.

“That’s the best news I’ve heard all day!”

It meant she wouldn’t have to walk on her feet anymore, which was good timing because she wasn’t sure how much further she would’ve been able to go. If she had to choose between blistery, swollen feet or letting Hunter carry her again, she’d keep walking until the damned things fell off.
