At the end of the day he called her. “Are you ready to go?” he asked.

“Yes. I’ll meet you at the car.”

He was already waiting for her in the car when she got there. She got in and as soon as she buckled her belt, he turned to her crushing his lips against hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck to lock him to her. She had no idea how long they sat in the car wrapped around each other, drowning in their need. But finally he pulled back. “Let’s go home,” he said.

She didn’t need to ask which home he was referring to. When they had gotten back from Cabo Friday evening, he had driven her to her house and just told her to pack up whatever else she would need or wanted with her right now. She had started to argue with him, but he had just looked at her with dilated pupils. “I’m not ready to let you go. I may never be. Do you need any help?”

That was all he said. What was she supposed to say to a man who makes no bones about how much he wants her? And well she, she was in love with him. She packed and left a note for her sister that she would call her.

He pulled into his garage and parked. He didn’t have a chance to help her out of the car because she had already opened her door. She beat him by a second to the door leading to the first level of the townhouse. She pushed it open and walked in; he followed behind her. She walked up the stairs and kept walking toward the staircase to the bedrooms.

Tal stopped to watch her, to see what she would do. He started to ask her if she wanted dinner. He knew Mrs. Han had left dinner in the oven for them. But at the top of the stairs, she dropped her coat.

Tal didn’t have to be told twice. He dropped his jacket and ran up the stairs. By the time he got to the open doorway, he found her sitting on the bed with nothing but a lacy purple bra and matching thong on, waiting for him. He had never gotten out of a suit faster than he did at that moment and joined her on the bed.

Buried so deep he didn’t know where he began and she ended, he opened his eyes to see hers sparkling at him. “I love you,” he said. “I love you and want you with me always.”

Tears pooled in her beautiful eyes and he could feel answering moisture in his when he heard her whisper. “I love you, too. And this is where I always want to be.”
