“Yes,” I said, reaching for the alarm and turning it off. “Now I reckon we’ve just got time for breakfast before we go in. What do you fancy?”
“You,” she said, grinning as she leaned across and kissed me. “Lots and lots of you.”
TWENTY-ONE - LUCY
I looked at myself in the bathroom mirror. Was it possible to tell? I took a step backwards, feeling increasingly nervous.
The meeting had been scheduled for two in the afternoon. It was quarter to. Bill was probably already in there.
After breakfast, we’d headed into work together. It felt good being in the car next to him. It felt better having him kiss me before we headed upstairs.
We’d both talked on the way in, coming to the mutual agreement that it was best to keep things secret, for now. Once this Marty Berghaus thing was out of the way, there’d be time to decide who to tell and how much to tell them. For now, it was our secret. I had my own secret too. Was it visible?
The morning had been interesting, especially because the feeling inside me of where he’d been remained for a long time, a tingling ache that served to tell me I was his. I belonged to him. No one had ever been in my ass before and it had been so much better than I thought it could be. And that was only on our first morning together in his bed. What else would he do to me? What else did he have planned? I grinned at the thought.
Bill had been busy with Malcolm, one of the three lawyers he had coming in for the meeting. I was playing catch up after being off work yesterday. Not only that but I had a whole new thing to get on with, start the process that would get Anna’s book published. The ball was already rolling on that one. The first thing I did when I arrived was find out who was the best editor and get them assigned to work with Anna. Once that was done, I had a couple of phone calls with our in house cover designers. Ellie scheduled the meetings for me but none of them were for today. I was due in with Bill at two and I didn’t know how long we might be in there. It might be two minutes. It might be all day. We’d just have to see how it went.
I spun around and looked at myself over my shoulder. You couldn’t tell. It would be fine.
Walking out of the bathroom was much more fun than it usually was. I couldn’t stop thinking about Bill, about what we’d done that morning before we came in.
I hadn’t told him what I had planned. I’d kept it a secret, wanting to surprise him. It would definitely be a surprise. I doubted he’d ever suspect me of something like this.
At half past one, I’d gathered up my bag, told Ellie to hold my calls, then headed for the ladies bathroom that was nearest the meeting room.
Inside I locked myself in the cubicle, lifting my skirt, tugging my panties down.
I got the box out. Provides a sensual feeling of fullness, it said. Designed for long term prolonged use. I guessed we’d see about that.
I opened the box and lifted out the plug. It felt heavy in my hand, the silicone cold but quickly warming under my touch. I ran my finger over it. Was I really going to do this?
He hadn’t told me to. If I was going to be his submissive, was I only supposed to do what he told me to? I would find out. If he was cross, he might spank me and the thought of that was enough to get me lubing the plug.
Listening in case anyone might come in and disturb me, I hoisted my foot up onto the seat, reaching behind me with the plug. It was surprisingly difficult to find the entrance to my ass and in the end I had to use a finger of my free hand, guiding the plug towards it. Then I did as he’d told me this morning, breathing in then out, using the relaxation of my breath to allow me to nudge it inside.
I gasped at the sensation as it slid home, inexorably moving deeper until it was buried, only the base protruding. Then I stood up, shifting in place for a moment, getting used to the feeling, making sure it wouldn’t fall out. There was no risk of that, I was gripping it far too tightly.
I pulled my panties back up and then adjusted my skirt. Only then did I step out of the cubicle and over to the mirrors, looking at my reflection closely. Could you tell it was in there?
I examined myself from every angle. There was no way of telling. It was my dirty little secret until I chose to share it with anyone. There was only one person I was going to tell and he was waiting for me in the boardroom.
I walked slowly along the corridor, each step making my insides tingle, the fullness of the plug reminding me it was there, never refusing to let me forget.
They were all in the boardroom when I arrived. Bill, Malcolm, Gary, and the woman whose name I’d forgotten on one side of the table. There was an empty chair for me next to Bill. “As head of adult fiction,” Bill explained to the lawyers, “I thought Miss Rhodes better sit in on this.”
“I hear she found the replacement,” Gary said. “Well done, you.”
“Thanks,” I said, unable to meet his eye as I lowered myself into the chair.
I had to bite my lip to keep from moaning as the seat served to push the plug deeper into me. I let out a long slow breath, hoping my cheeks weren’t burning as brightly as I thought they might be. The room seemed incredibly hot all of a sudden.
A knock at the door. Ellie pushing it open. There was Marty Berghaus. Beside him was the woman whose job I’d taken. Bill had told me she would be coming to the meeting. Sandra. And behind her was Derek, Marty’s lawyer.
I looked at Sandra closely as she came in. I recognised her. Then I realised. It was the woman who’d been dancing with Bill at the conference. I’d know that face anywhere. So that was her plan. To try and torment him somewhere he couldn’t fight back. It hadn’t worked and the scowl on her face when she saw me told me everything I needed to know.
“Let’s make this quick,” Marty’s lawyer said, taking the last remaining seat. “We know you haven’t got a replacement so why not just write my client a cheque and we can all get on with our day?”
“What if we have got a replacement?” Malcolm asked.
“Then the contract is void,” Derek said. “But you haven’t got-”
Bill coughed, reaching down to his side and lifting up a copy of Anna’s manuscript. He slid it over the table along with a copy of the contract. “What’s this?” Derek asked, taking it from him.
“I think you’ll find that’s all in order,” Bill said.
Derek flicked through the contract before reading the first couple of pages of the manuscript, running his hand through the rest as if to check the pages weren’t blank. “Then we’re all done here,” he said, getting to his feet. “Good day to you all.”
“What?” Marty snapped, twisting in his seat. “What are you talking about? What about my money?”
“I’m sorry, Mr Berghaus but the terms were clear enough. They have a replacement book. Your contract is voided and they are within their rights to recoup the advance from yourself.”
“But…but you’re my lawyer. Do something.”
“There’s nothing I can do.”
“Bullshit. There’s always something.”
“Good day, Mr Berghaus.” Derek nodded to the rest of us before walking out. Marty turned back to Bill, glaring at him. “You conned me. That’s what this is. It’s a trick. It has to be.”
“No trick,” I said. “We have a book. You have all the time in the world to finish your masterpiece. Whenever you’re done, give me a call. I’m sure we can come to some sort of arrangement.”
“It’ll be a cold day in hell before I call you,” he snarled, storming out of the room without looking back. “Come on, Sandra.”
She leaned over the table, not looking at me, looking directly at Bill. “You’ll pay for this,” she said quietly, her voice cold as ice. “You too.” With a flick of her finger towards me, she made as if she was going to say something else. Then she was gone too.
“How do you think that went?” Bill asked when he was sure they weren’t coming back.
“About as well as could be expected,” Gary replied. “You should watch yourself though. Sandra’s
pretty good at holding grudges.”
“Just bravado,” he replied. “I doubt we’ll ever hear from her again.”
Everyone got up but me. “Bill,” I said, tapping him on the arm. “I wondered if I might have a quick word?”
“Of course,” he replied. “Thanks guys, thanks a lot.”
He shook each of the lawyers’ hands before they headed out, leaving the two of us alone at last.
“What was it you wanted to talk about?” he asked, sitting back down again.
“It’s more that I’ve got something to show you,” I replied, getting up and crossing to the blinds, pulling the cord so the outside corridor vanished from sight. “Something I hope you’ll like.”
I turned away from him, bending slightly at the hips, tugging the back of my skirt up my thighs. “Call it a congratulations for a job well done.”
Once my skirt was up to my hips, I peeled down my panties, listening for his reaction. It came at once.
“You had that in for the entire meeting?” he said, his voice close enough to make me jump. He’d moved silently from his chair to whisper in my ear. As he did so, he reached down, locking the door and trapping me in with him. “Good girl.”
“I thought you’d like it.”
“I like it a lot,” he said with a smile. “It suits you.”
“Want me to take it out?”
“I want you to bend over that table right now and keep quiet. Reckon you can do that?”
“Depends on what you have planned for me,” I said as I leaned over, pointing my plugged ass back at him.
“This,” he said, reaching between my legs, finding me as wet as the first time he’d touched me. A combination of the plug and knowing how he’d feel when he saw it had kept me permanently aroused, even during the meeting.
His hand went to my clit almost at once but he didn’t touch it. He touched every other part of my pussy, even dipping a finger into me, but he ignored my clit, teasing me, knowing how hard it was for me to keep my mouth shut.
I breathed through my nostrils as best I could, not wanting to moan even though the sound was lingering in my mouth, the feeling of him so intense, his other hand tugging and pushing at the plug in my ass.
“Want to come?” he asked conversationally, as if he were calmly talking about the weather.
“Very much so,” I replied, rocking my hips back against him. “Please let me come, Sir.”
I gasped as I felt his cock between my legs a second later. When had he even taken it out? It was rock hard and throbbing as he entered me. The fact we were in the boardroom at work combined with the feel of the plug in me to send me over the edge in seconds, the sheer naughtiness of it sending a wracking, overwhelming climax racing through me.
It was some time before I was myself again. When I finally became aware of my surroundings, I realised he was thrusting hard and fast into me, his hips moving the plug with each rocking motion of his body.
A second orgasm followed the first almost as quickly. It was still tearing through me when he suddenly fell still against my back, gripping my hips tight enough to make me wince, his cock twitching inside me, filling me with his hot wetness. “Fuck,” he whispered, gasping for air as he slowly withdrew. “You drive me wild.”
“I’m just a loyal employee,” I said in response. “And all I want to do is make my boss happy.”
A minute later, the door was unlocked and I was standing in the corridor, looking in at him, at the man I was somehow lucky enough to have wanting me. “About that issue,” I said as someone walked past behind me. “I think we’ll need regular meetings to get that sorted out.”
“I’ll come to your office later on,” he replied, leaning towards my ear as he went to walk past, whispering quietly, “and you’ll come in your office too after I’d spanked the hell out of you.”
Then he was walking away, leaving me watching him with a huge grin on my face. Working for his firm was going to be good, I could just tell. But being spanked by his firm hand was going to be even better.
EPILOGUE - BILL
SIX MONTHS LATER…
“This feels like old times,” I said, picking up my glass and holding it high in the air. “To reunions.”
Ted held his glass up. “I’ll drink to that.”
“So,” I continued after we’d both drained our glasses. “How have you been? It feels like forever.”
“Same old, same old,” he replied. “Apart from her parents have decided to live in Fiji instead of three doors down from us.”
“Was it three doors?”
“Thereabouts but now they’ll be in a tropical paradise and I can try and get my marriage back on track. But what about you? I haven’t heard from you in forever.”
“I’ve been a busy man enjoying life.”
“I don’t doubt it. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you this happy.”
“Do I look happy?”
“You’re grinning more than a morning TV presenter and they’ve got cocaine to help them get going. What do you have?”
“I don’t know. Happiness?”
“You are happy then.”
“More than I’ve ever been.”
“That’s good to hear. Did I tell you I decided to invest in Snow Day?”
“You and everyone else. I tell you, Ted, that book has been the making of us.”
He leaned back in his chair, folding his arms across his chest. “I saw the charts when it came out. You must be raking it in.”
“The author’s very happy with her royalties, let’s put it that way.”
“Any news on a sequel? Everyone’s asking for one.”
“I can’t say anything at the moment but we’ll see.”
“What about Marty? Did you hear anything else from him?”
“Last I heard, he’d self-published and it had bombed. I read an interview with him and he managed to blame me, as if it was my fault he couldn’t get a decent cover on the thing.”
“And Sandra?”
“Dumped him about a week after we got his advance back.”
“So she was only after his money then?”
“Looks like it.”
“You might want to keep an eye out on her. I get the feeling she might come back to haunt you.”
“Funny, that’s what Malcolm said to me.”
“Great minds.”
I shrugged. “If she does, she does. I’ll deal with it when it happens. Oh, look, here’s our food.”
The meal arrived and I dug in as soon as the waiter was gone. I was starving. It had been such a hectic few months since Anna’s book had come out, I’d barely stopped during the daytime. This was the first chance I’d had to catch up with Ted and I only had the time because Lucy was filling in for me at the office. She’d just taken on the full time role as head of adult fiction, leaving me to work on expanding the company, making the most of the influx of extra cash the investors were giving us.
“We should do this more often,” Ted said, sticking his fork into a piece of carrot.
“What, eat vegetables?”
“Meet up. Me and mine, you and yours.”
“Are you saying you want a two couple dinner party. Are we that age already?”
“We’re a bit old for sneaking into clubs and trying to get served.”
“But a dinner party? I never thought I’d hear you saying you wanted one.”
“Take the piss anymore and I won’t invite you.”
“All right, I’ll ask Lucy, see what she says. I’m going to have to dash off pretty quick though.”
“No rest for the perverted.”
“You should know.”
We laughed and it felt good. It had been too long. I wasn’t shocked by him asking me and Lucy to a dinner party as much as by my reaction to it. For the first time, something like that sounded like a good idea. So often, they were boring as hell and I couldn’t wait to get my sub back home for more fun and games. But this was different.
Ever since I’
d met Lucy, things had been different. I wanted a life with her, I wanted to introduce her to people. Telling the office we were in a relationship was next on the list. We’d kept it secret for long enough. The book was out, it was still on the top of the bestseller list. The ebook strategy was coming along nicely. All that was left was to tell the office about Lucy and me and to tell Lucy about something else, something I had planned that would hopefully come as a real surprise to her.
I wanted to make her happy in the one way that would prove how much she meant to me. She’d already been able to expand the food club thanks to Anna’s royalty cheques and her bonus. It was spreading across the south west and if the sequel turned out to be as big a hit as the first book, she might have enough to expand across the whole country, helping anyone who needed a decent meal. It just made me feel even more strongly about her to know she had such a compassionate streak inside her. She only ever thought about other people. My surprise would show her what one particular other person thought about her.
When I got in that evening I found out she had a surprise for me before I got a chance to tell her mine. “What’s that?” I asked, seeing her with a pile of parcels laid out on the dining room table.
“Anna wanted to ask me some questions about the sequel,” she said, tearing into the wrapping paper of the first parcel. “And I realised I couldn’t really answer her without doing some research first.”
“So?”
“So I might have done the noble thing and decided to order a few things to help me understand the BDSM mindset better.”
“I think you understand it pretty well already,” I said, squeezing her ass while kissing her cheek at the same time.
“Then you won’t want to use this on me, I’m guessing,” she said, pulling a brand new riding crop out of the parcel. “Shall I send it back?”
“I didn’t say that,” I replied, taking the crop from her and making a few experimental strikes through the air, the swishing sound music to my ears. “I’m always up for helping the professional development of my staff.”
