“Then give it to me… Fuck me already—Ungh!”

An embarrassing, deep groan poured out of me when he suddenly plunged his cock back into my ass. I’d just had him but damn if he didn’t feel even better than just a few moments ago.

  “Oh, fuck…”

I was never like this. The few Alphas I’d been with were just a fun time to relieve myself. This was different. I wanted Uriah to give it to me. I wanted it hard. I wanted it deep. I wanted him to take complete control of me until he lost himself.

  “That’s it… Just… like… that… Fuck me…”

I remained bent over on the pool table. My legs spread and my ass presented to Uriah, I was in the perfect position for a man as tall as him to get as deep as he could.

His hilt slammed against my ass. The sound of our bodies clapping together continued to fill the bar. The walls were thin enough that somebody could possibly hear me screaming through it all. I didn’t care though. The heat inside of me couldn’t be fought.

  “Harder…”

He followed my commands like I was in complete control of me even though he was doing all of the work.

His strong hand suddenly found its way around my throat. He pulled me up from the pool table and held his body close to me. His hard chest pressed against my back. I leaned back into him, reaching my arms up and wrapping them around his neck while our bodies continued to slam against each other.

“Is that what you want?” he grunted in my ear. “You want me to fuck you like this?”

I was whimpering from how hard he was giving it to me. Deep strokes of his thick cock rubbed every inch of my walls. I held onto him, trying to respond but more desperate to breathe. My mouth hung open as he gave it to me even harder.

“Is that what you want?” he grunted again. “Say you want it.”

  “I want it… I want it…”

  “What do you want?”

  “Your… cock… Give me your… hard… cock… Alpha…”

  Alpha…

Saying the words reminded me of just who he was. He wasn’t just some man. He wasn’t anybody else. He was something special.

Spurred by my desire to satisfy my body’s needs, I rammed my body back against his. I was slamming my body so hard against his hilt that I knew that I would be sore in the morning.

  “Bryce…”

He moaned the words, his breath warm against my cheek.

I tried to keep my wits about me but it felt too good to have his cock rubbing against my insides. My vision blurred. My skin dripped with sweat. My muscles ached. My asshole stretched wide to accommodate his size.

I almost couldn’t believe it. Here I was in my bar, alone with a man I’d only just bet, being taken from behind. I was at his complete mercy.

  “Bryce… Shit…”

  “What is it?”

Uriah didn’t have to say anything. I could feel him.

His cock was starting to swell inside of me. His shaft was so hard that I felt like I was being split in two. Uriah was so stiff and thick that he couldn’t pull out of me even if he tried.

“That’s it,” I grunted. “Take me. Take me now—”

I gasped when he suddenly pulled me away from the pool table. I fell to the ground on all fours, his cock still planted firmly inside of me. I pushed myself up with the little bit of strength I had left.

Now he was giving it to me even deeper. Uriah had me completely mounted, his chest against my back and his thrusts pounding into me so hard that I shifted violently with every forceful stroke.

  “Oh, God…”

I moaned in ecstasy from how good he felt. He felt so damn good that my own cock was painfully swollen. At this point, all I could do was lay there and take it. There was nothing I could do to stop the inevitable.

My balls tightened up against my body. My cock was on the verge of exploding. I held my breath for just a second before finally losing myself.

A pathetic whimper escaped my lips, the rest of my cries of ecstasy stuck in my throat. Small spurts of cum started to spill out of me and drip onto the floor beneath me. My whole body trembled but not enough for Uriah to notice with how hard he was giving it to me.

My brief orgasm didn’t stop the heat continuing to pulse through me. There was still a fire burning in my stomach that I couldn’t control. Uriah felt like he wasn’t anywhere close to reaching his end. He banged me with a desperation like he knew it was only a matter of time until he lost himself.

  “Bryce… I’m gonna come…”

“Come inside of me… I want your cum… Give it to me…”

I said the only words I could say. The only words that would bring me the relief from this endless desire.

It felt like Uriah’s cock was somehow getting even harder inside of me. He kept pumping me until his grip squeezed around my waist. He seized up for just a second before letting out a deep, guttural groan.

  “Fuck!”

He yelled it loud enough that it rang in my ears. His grunt was followed by his body jerking hard behind me. I squeezed my asshole tight around his cock as it pulsed inside me. Thick streams of cum splashed against my walls and filled me up. The wetness of his cum along with all of the lubricant dripping out of me made even more of a mess out of me.

I remained on all fours and took it. The satisfaction of having him come so hard and so much inside of me was like nothing else.

He didn’t stop so quickly either. Just when I thought he was on the verge of running out of strength, I felt his grip on me only grow tighter. Uriah had no intention of letting me go until every drop spilled out of him.

  “Oh… Fuck…”

Uriah suddenly sank on top of me, his hard, heavy body rested against mine. I laid prone on the floor, my ass up in the air with him still mounted on top of me. Our bodies were covered with sweat. We’d made a complete mess of each other. The entire experience had drained us. There was nothing we could do except gasp to try and catch our breath.

My senses slowly started to return to me and I realized what I’d done.

  What was that?

I couldn’t believe it. I’d gone into heat around a man I’d only just met. I blinked my eyes open, wondering if I’d woken up from a dream. But I could still feel him on top of me. I could still smell him, a masculine scent that filled my nostrils more than anything else. I could still hear him breathing.

Uriah was real and he was right here with me.

He pulled his cock out of me and a trail of fluids leaked down the insides of my thighs. When I realized just how much he came, that’s when I felt it.

A warmth rumbling against my insides.

  Is that…

There was no mistaking it. Even though I’d never felt it before, I knew that was the case.

I put myself back together as much as I could and pushed myself back up to my feet.

Uriah stood just before me. His body naked and proud, his muscles glistened with sweat from the barroom lights.

Even though my heat was over, he was still something to marvel at. The striations all over his body. His impressive cock dangling between his legs. And that handsome face of his. Dark hair still neat on his head despite what we just did. Perfectly cropped hair along his chin. No, he was definitely not from the West Bay. And I was grateful that I’d done something like this with a man like him.

“How are you feeling?” he asked, his eyes as serious as I’d ever seen them before.

“I’m fine… I… I can’t believe that happened… Have you ever heard of anything like that?”

“They say that an Omega only goes into heat when they’re around…”

He didn’t finish immediately. We both knew how serious it was.

“…When they’re around who they’re meant to be with,” he said.

“Yeah… I just didn’t think it could happen so quickly.”

“There’s no way to explain it, Bryce. It just… It just happens…”

“Now I know that it’s real.”

  I looked do
wn and put a hand on my stomach. I closed my eyes to make sure that I was feeling it correctly. It hadn’t gone away.

  “You’re pregnant.”

I looked up at him and hesitated a second. But there was no point in hiding it from him. I was sure it was obvious just from the look on my face.

“Yes,” I said with a nod.

  “Pregnant…”

He looked away from me and nodded like he was trying to take it all in. Frankly, I couldn’t blame him.

  “…I… I don’t know if you’re upset but—”

  “I’m not upset,” I said with a laugh. “It’s just… It’s not something I expected.”

“You’re probably tired. You should probably go home and get some rest.”

“Rest is the last thing I need to do. I don’t think the patrons will be too happy if they come here and they see the mess we made.”

I looked down at the ground. The cum on the floor was more than just a few small drops.

“It’s all right,” I said with a laugh. “I was planning on mopping anyway.”

“You shouldn’t be mopping. After everything we just did and now that you’re pregnant…”

“I’ll tell you what. I’m getting a bit hungry. Why don’t you finish helping me clean up and we’ll go out for a bite? There’s a place around here that doesn’t close.”

“I imagine you’re feeling a bit hungry at the moment, since you’re eating for two…”

He gave me a smirk that immediately made me blush.

  Dammit.

I was never like this around men, even Alphas. I spent all day dealing with them. But Uriah… He was different. All the more reason to believe that he was the one I was meant to be with.

“Okay,” he said with a nod. “Deal. I’ll mop and then we’ll go out for a bite. It’s not past your bedtime, is it?”

“It might be. But tonight, I think I’ll make an exception. I figure there’s no point in waiting to get to know you a little better.”

  Chapter 6

  URIAH

I get away from Bryce long enough to give Sanders a phone call. I told him in not so many words that I would talk to him in the morning. It took a bit to convince him that I was all right. I couldn’t blame him for being worried, considering what I was getting myself into. Little did he know that my new situation had nothing to do with the case we were trying to solve.

My priorities had suddenly switched to something else entirely.

I sighed a deep breath and closed my eyes. I pressed my fingers against my forehead then slid them down toward my temple, my face pointed down at the table.

  “Tired?”

I shifted my eyes toward Bryce. He had the tiniest little smirk on his lips. It was cute in a way.

“Not tired,” I said with a chuckle. “I just didn’t realize how much I drank tonight. There’s a hangover coming in there somewhere tomorrow morning.”

“I’ll have to tell Norman to cut you off next time.”

“You won’t have to tell Norman that. I don’t think I’ll be drinking much very often.”

  “Same here.”

  “I would think so.”

I looked around the diner that Bryce had brought me to. It was a typical run-of-the-mill place that you’d expect to be open 24 hours a day. There were only a few other people around.

“These people,” I said. “I think you and I are the only ones having a meal here.”

“Who? Them? Yeah, sometimes people come to this place when they need somewhere to sit or lie down. It’s better than sleeping on the street. There aren’t as many homeless here as there are in the Southern Block, so there aren’t as many shelters.”

“Maybe somebody should do something about it.”

“There’s an idea. You can tell Ashton Webb that these people could use a place to stay.”

“I’ll get right on it and give him a call.”

I gave him a wink. The way Bryce grinned gave him an innocence I wouldn’t have expected after meeting him earlier tonight. The no-nonsense man who ran the bar was gone, replaced by someone I felt like I could actually talk to.

“You come to this place a lot?” I asked.

“Not a lot. Sometimes I have long nights at the bar though, so there’s nothing better than coming in here and having a late meal. My hunger gets to me more than my fatigue and I just have to have a bite. This place is always there. There are a lot of diners like this one in the West Bay but this is the one that I like.”

“Right… You been living in the West Bay for awhile?”

“Born and raised. Been here my whole life. I wouldn’t trade it for anywhere else in the world?”

  “Anywhere? What about the Northside?”

“The Northside is nice but it really isn’t my cup of tea. What do I need a big house and a fancy car for? I get by just fine with the way things are. That’s how they’ve always been. My brother and I…”

He stopped talking for a second. I widened my eyes at him.

  “Is something wrong?” I asked.

He didn’t say anything. He was just staring at me with a smirk slowly growing on his lips.

“You don’t really care about any of this, do you?” he said.

  “Why wouldn’t I?”

“I don’t know. It feels like I’m telling you my life story—”

  “Bryce, I just…”

I looked around to make sure that nobody was listening. Most of the other patrons were sleeping, so they probably didn’t even care. I leaned forward and whispered to make sure they didn’t hear.

“…I just got you pregnant. I’m already a part of your life story.”

When I said it, it hit me again. I’d just mated with an Omega. He went into heat right next to me and we lost control of ourselves. A moment of passion that neither one of us could do anything about.

“When you put it like that, I guess you have a point,” Bryce said, a soft smile on his lips.

He sighed a deep breath and shrugged.

“My brother and I were orphans,” he said. “We grew up on the streets together, bouncing from foster home to foster home.”

  “That must’ve been tough.”

“It wasn’t easy. But we were always together, so I never got down. He’s always been there to pick me up. I know I can always depend on him.”

  “Your brother… He still around?”

“He’s doing just fine. He’s not around as often as he used to be but he’s still a part of my life.”

“I have a question… You two were orphans. How did you end up running your own bar?”

  “That… That’s a long story.”

I chuckled softly at his response. Bryce didn’t seem too reluctant to talk about it but he didn’t seem excited about it either.

“We’ve got all night together,” I said. “The rest of the night, anyway…”

“Right… Well… It’s not as interesting as you think it is. My brother and I just started working once we were old enough. We lived on the streets for a bit, saving as much money as we could until we finally got our own apartment. We kept saving. We kept working. Finally, we got a good deal on the building and opened up a bar. Figured if anybody else could do it, we could do it.”

  “What’s his name?”

“Cade,” he said with a smile. “Hopefully you can meet him.”

“How do you think Cade will react when he finds out what just happened between us?”

“He’ll be happy. Cade has always been happy for me. He’s my older brother. I can’t remember a time when he wasn’t looking after me.”

“That’s good to know. I’m… I’m looking forward to meeting him.”

There was something in his eye when he talked about his brother. Something that made the subtle smirk on his lips even more genuine. I could tell just by looking at Bryce that he was being sincere about everything he just said. Strange to think that I was taking everything he said to me at face value. I knew better than to trust the word of a man I only
just met but I found myself wanting to give Bryce the benefit of the doubt every time.

The waiter arrived to take our order. There was some surprise on his face like he didn’t think people came here to eat this late at night.

“Let me see,” Bryce said as he examined the menu. “I’ll have a burger, all the fixings. Side of french fries. And give me an order of fried chicken. That sounds good… Maybe a bite of mashed potatoes on the side. Some vegetables sounds nice, too.”

I couldn’t help but laugh at Bryce’s big order. When he realized what I was laughing at, he looked up at me and shrugged.

“Is there anything else?” the waiter asked.

“Something to wash it down with,” Bryce said. “A glass of cola sounds nice.”

  “And for you?”

“Just give me a burger and the fries,” I said. “Same as him. None of the extra stuff.”

As soon as the waiter was gone, Bryce let out a deep sigh.

  “What’s wrong?” I said.

“Sorry. I just… I’m so hungry. I didn’t think it would hit me that fast. This baby is really doing something to me.”

“You don’t have to apologize for something like that,” I said, laughing softly. “I understand.”

“I know. It doesn’t seem fair to order so much food though. Working up that kind of a bill. Are you sure you don’t mind paying for it?”

“It’s not something I do very often but a meal like this won’t empty my bank account, if that’s what you’re worried about.”

  “Right… So, you rich then?”

We shared a laugh. I shook my head at his enthusiasm. Even if he denied it, there was no doubt he was probably hoping I was someone wealthy.

“Not rich,” I said. “I get by though.”

  “All right. Uriah…”

  “Kennedy.”

“Uriah Kennedy. Where do you live?”

“I live in the Northside. But not in those fancy mansions you probably hear about. You know, there are some common folks up there. They’re not all rich, snooty socialites with their noses in the air.”

“I would never accuse you of something like that.”

“Good. Because I’m not anything like them.”

“And living up in the Northside… What is it you do up there?”
