Bleeding (Oil Apocalypse Book 2)

by Lou Cadle

Books 4-6 (or 7), out in 2018, will jump forward in time but stay in the neighborhood and tell two different phases of the survival/adaptation story. Batteries don’t last forever, after all. Gasoline goes bad. The world will change again for our heroes.

Recorded Books, Inc, has agreed to do the audio books of Oil Apocalypse, and they should be in out in 2018, with about a five-month delay for every title after its ebook publication.

A couple of notes about accuracy. Remember, this is set in the near future. So if gun laws or fuel cell technology or nonexistent medicines are referenced, that’s because I made those up. Also, Payson Arizona is a real place, and I lived three summers there. (Beautiful summers, by the way--just perfect weather in an amazing forest and one of the two places in Arizona that isn’t chronically panicked over having insufficient water.) I’ve kept most of real Payson but ignored other parts of it, so if you’ve been there and feel a bit turned around when reading the books, think of it this way: it’s the future. Maybe buildings, streets, and neighborhoods have moved. And lastly, I probably made some inadvertent errors because I don’t actually own a grenade launcher or an electric car and had to look all that up. Feel free to drop me an email at loucadle(at)gmail.com to correct any error you found. Another friend saved me from putting the electric car into neutral, which I kept wanting to do! :-)

Also, if you ever see a typo remaining after my four-step proofreading system, I’d love to hear about it so I can correct it and re-upload the book to Amazon.
