“Let’s say I believed your delusions, can you prove it? How do you know I’m your fated mate to be?”

  “Because I have seen it.”

I wanted to laugh except this wasn’t funny. “Right,” I said sarcastically. I was ready to leave.

“It is true. I am a sea dragon. I can see the future and often make prophetic claims. 500 years ago, Shane and I moved to North Carolina, Raleigh to be exact, waiting for you. Angela Robins, 26, blond hair, beautiful blue eyes, the only child of Jenny Robins and Robert Robins, who passed away two years ago from pancreatic cancer. You are funny but nerdy. You like the band Gorillaz and think Britney Spears is overrated. You went out last night to celebrate something with your best friend from law school.”

My mouth hung open. “Did you stalk me? Who did you pay to tell you this?”

He shook his head no. “Who could have told me that? I knew all that, but I don’t know what exactly you were celebrating last night.”

  “Why not,” I asked skeptically.

“Because that’s how prophecies work. Some things, like your beautiful face,” he said caressing my cheek, “are clear and unforgettable. While other facts are unclear.”

He waited, but I had nothing to say.

“I know I have loved you for years. So has Shane. We share everything, even our mate. Which is why your response made him a little angry. I swear under the quick temper and spiked tail he’s a big teddy bear.”

I couldn’t believe anything he was saying. He had to be selling me a bill of goods.

“I know it’s hard to believe,” he said leaning forward so I could see nothing other than his eyes. “But don’t think with this,” he said touching his index finger to my forehead. “Think with this,” he said placing his other hand on my chest, on top of my heart.

I closed my eyes, blocking out everything I could see. Everything in me said to think about this logically, but the heart wasn’t logical, neither was watching a man transform into a dragon.

I know that I since I met them, I felt an affinity toward them. I knew that they treated me decently and seemed genuine. I knew that I wanted to be with them again. I knew that I wanted this to be something more but what did that mean for my future?

I opened my eyes, and he was still right in front of me, drowning me in his green eyes tinged with a little blue and brown. “What do you think?”

“I think we need to talk to Shane.”

He helped me out of the tub, and we left to talk to his fire breathing other half.

Shane had returned to his human form and lounged casually on the couch.

He stood when we entered. I found him only a little less intimidating now that I saw what he could turn into.

“I’m sorry if I scared you,” he said looking only slight remorseful.

“I’m sorry if I angered you,” I said sitting beside him. Chad boxed me in sitting on my other side.

He shrugged, “I’m not used to not being in charge.”

“I understand, it’s just.” I struggled to speak my mind, and I didn’t want to upset him for fear he might shift again.

Sensing my hesitation, he touched my hand lightly, “it’s ok. You can tell me the truth. I promise I won’t overreact again.”

“It’s just that. I’m not anyone’s possession. You said ‘mine’ but I can’t be yours. I belong to me. If I belong to you, what will become of me? Will you force me to live with you or worse move to another country? Will I never become a lawyer or see my friends again?

Chad smiled widely. “My dear, fate has us covered.”

I had no idea what that meant.

“When things are meant to be, all the stars align,” Chad said as if that made things clearer.

  “What does that mean?”

“Well, you want to be a lawyer, right?”

I nodded. “Well, we already are.”

I cocked my head to the side. Was he saying what I think he was saying?

“We are lawyers, have been practicing for quite some time and recently acquired our own practice.”

Shane chuckled and added, “And you’re just in luck, we’re looking to hire.”

I was amazed. “You’re not telling the truth.”

Chad turned my head by the chin. “We are. I saw you. Fate brought us together. The universe lined our paths in order.”

Shane leaned forward to kiss my neck. “You are my mate. Fate made it that way.”

I sighed under his ministrations. “But I need freedom. You can’t keep me hoarded up like some treasure. I know my mythology. I know dragons tend to horde treasure. I don’t want to be one of your collectibles. I want to be valued and treated as an equal.”

“Sweetheart,” Chad said kissing my shoulder. “This is the 21st century. Such things as feminism exist now.”

That made me laugh, and I relaxed. I didn’t know the full extent of what I got myself into or how I would explain it to my mom, but I was content with it.

“Besides, dragons tend to collect such things as gold because it’s a malleable metal and rather comfortable to sleep on. You wouldn’t believe how quick the scales can chafe.”

  Chapter 4

  2 months later

Black, Richman and Robins was open but the sign outside said closed for lunch and the doors were locked. The office was on the sixth floor of a brand new building down town. None of the windows had curtains or blinds, letting in the natural lighting outside. Looking down one could see all the people passing by on the city streets without being discovered. The paint was bright and cheerful, unlike most law offices. The furniture and computers were new. The daily cleaning service kept each surface gleaming clean. The walls held accreditations, pictures and a huge calendar. Time seemed to have no meaning when you were immortal so I made sure to include a calendar where we all could see it as well as a clock. There were three offices, all revolving the middle desk where our assistant, would normally sit. She was out to lunch, which is why I was currently prostrate on my desk. I hope she didn’t notice the smell of sex when she got back.

Chad was on his knees under the desk, sucking on my clit while Shane was ramming into me from behind, holding on to my breasts. They accosted me as soon as the assistant left. I sat working on my computer thinking about my case when he came behind me and reached down inside my blouse to fondle my breasts. There is nothing more exciting that being grabbed from behind by a man when you're not expecting it. I glanced back to see Shane hanging his suit jacket on the hook by the door. He sat in front of my desk, watching Chad relax me. He was smiling and rubbing his crotch. I knew this would be a lunch hour I wouldn't soon forget.

Chad pulled his hands from my blouse and slid my chair out from my desk as Shane began to roll up his sleeves. Chad got down on his knees, between my legs spreading them wide and begin to massage my clit through my tight skirt. Shane finally came around, his pants unzipped, his belt hanging loosely and jingling as he walked towards me. I was moaning as he pulled my blouse over my head and quickly reached between my breasts. Chad reached up to drag my bra down my breasts, freeing them before Shane unhooked it, letting it fall to the floor.

Shane took my nipples between his fingers and began to tug and twist them. I was so turned on I couldn't get my legs wide enough for Chad. Shane unzipped my skirt and popped my butt to make me step out of it. He laid it tenderly across my chair, leaving me standing wearing thong lace panties. Shane barely stopped to enjoy the view as he hooked his fingers around the flimsy material and yanked it from my body. He held the ripped shreds to his nose and inhaled deeply. I could hear his growls of approval. There I was naked, horny, wetness dripping down my legs and nipples so hard, begging to be sucked.

I said a quiet thanks to my preference for electronic files as Shane laid me down on the bare table. He walked around as Chad pulled up my chair. With my heels on either side of his head, he sucked and licked me like it was the first time. Chad knew how to use his tongue. It was pithy and flexible, knowing just what itch
es to scratch. Shane bent forward, holding me still, adding to my pleasure by biting on my nipples. They had come to learn how sensitive my breasts were. He kneaded them, pinching them, alternating between hard pressure, just on the edge of painful and soft licks. His work put his hard cock inches from my mouth. It peeked from his loosened pants, teasing me. I pulled it from his boxers with both hands.

Shane pulled me to the edge of the table so he could get his big cock in my mouth and I relaxed completely, letting him slid in and out as he wanted. I loved giving him head. It was the only time it seemed I could undo his airtight control. I opened my throat wide, sucking hard so he was forced to go deeper than he ever had before. I didn’t care that I was choking. His taste was enough to make me regret nothing.

Chad took advantage of my distractedness, slapping his freed cock against my opening. The sound of my wetness against his skin added to the pleasure of his tease.

“You want this dick? He taunted.

Usually, Shane and I were the verbal ones during sex and Chad merely participated in bringing me to mind numbing orgasms. This time he was leading. I couldn’t answer with Shane’s cock crammed down my throat and when he pulled away, I took the reprieve to suck on his succulent balls. I gently rubbed my tongue along his seam and slurped on them as Chad continued talking dirty.

“If you want it, you’re going to have to beg.”

Shane usually demanded, but Chad wanted me to beg.

“Give it to me baby. I want it.”

He rammed his hard cock into me.

I loved it and sucked Shane even harder. His dick and Chad’s firm grip on my waist were the only things keeping me from falling off the desk.

“Damn, fuck her harder,” Shane murmured. “She sucks me harder when you do.”

I knew Shane couldn’t keep from making at least one demand.

“Pull her hair. You know she likes it that way.”

I really did. Something about not being able to go anywhere. Something about the small tingles of pain in my scalp with the pleasure of pleasing my men was intoxicating.

After a few minutes, Shane pulled out of my mouth and Chad turned me over. Once on my stomach, my heels allowing me to be sturdy on the ground, Chad smacked my behind so hard I knew there was a red hand print etched on my skin while Shane slid back into my mouth. Chad spanked me on the other cheek before bending to stick his tongue into my anus. He sucked on the sensitive skin, reaming me well before grabbing a condom for both of them.

They pulled away from me simultaneously and I took the time to catch my breath. Chad sat on my desk, his feet still on the floor and his dick saluting his arousal.

“Climb on. Now,” he said guiding me to sit on his dick.

Shane made sure we were close enough that he could slide into my dripping cunt. They didn’t care their thighs touched or how sweaty we were. The only thing they were worried about was stuffing me with dick and pleasure. Chad led, ramming in and out of my now experienced anus. There was no contest to see who could go the fastest or hardest. They acted like we weren’t on a time constraint. Chad pinched my breasts, pushing them together while Shane kissed them and rubbed circles against my clit softly. The feeling of Chad in my ass while Shane’s balls slapped my taint left me trembling with euphoria.

Sweat beaded on Shane’s body and he looked so hot, fucking me in only his buttoned collared shirt. His sleeves were rolled up and the ends landed above his corded thighs, highlighting how tight they were as he thrust into me. We rode a carousel of movements, one pulling out while the other pushed in. They kissed and touched me lovingly, making sure I could get mine. We panted, working to the edge of oblivion pleasure, when Shane announced he was coming.

“Cum on my dick Angela. You cum right now.”

I was used to obeying and I did. Shane stumbled backwards, falling into my chair still pumping his dick as the condom caught his spray. Chad followed him, holding me in the air as his hips rammed into me. Finally he held me close, shaking erratically as his nut rushed through him. His muscles were tense occasionally twitching as his release continued on. We waited, gathering our breath and readjusting to normal breathing. I stood, seeing my wild hair, flushed cheeks and dewy skin in the full-length glass window.

I could only giggle as I snatched up my clothes quickly while running to the bathroom. “I’m locking this door so don’t get any ideas,” I said eyeballing my mischievous boyfriends. “I mean it you two. Only you would make me late for my first case. What would my bosses say?”

  THE END

  The Lion’s Heart

  Chapter 1

  ****Veronica****

This is exactly why you shouldn’t try online dating. No seriously, if you can’t find love in person, give up. I’m giving up. You should too. And don’t come for me or shame me with the whole bit of maybe it’s just you. When your date turns into a giant lion when he was previously a hot man hitting every spot you needed hit and fingering you to oblivion, you can’t say shit to me. Until then, shut the fuck up.

So let’s rewind about two weeks. There’s me, living in San Francisco, completely oblivious to the shoe that’s about to fall on my pretty and perfect life. Shoe? You ask. Yes, the shoe that tells you when life’s gotten a little too sunny on your side. I had been promoted to Project Manager. Which may not sound like much but let me tell you when you have broken through the glass ceilings of receptionist, assistant and generally avoided having to do sex favors for your boss, you sing praises for Project Manager. It’s also a miracle that I did all this single-handed while never succumbing to the loud but never spoken rule to be blond, super skinny and in love with tanning. Gasp, who wouldn’t want to be a blonde bimbo tottering on red bottom skyscrapers. This girl. Me. I’m tall all by myself, 5’11. You know what a girl like me looks like in 6-inch heels? Desperation. That’s what. Or a second on an Amazon movie set. So, I am content in my bedazzled flats that scream thrift store. I prefer the word antique, it brings an air of elegant remembering versus the only thing I can afford. Also, it makes carrying around these extra 90 pounds a bit easier. I say extra because all my coworkers don’t look to weigh any more than 90 pounds. I think that’s the maximum allowed into their club of sun tanning and tanning lotion. I’ve never been invited because the way my melanin is set up, I’m brown enough. Am I still not making myself clear? I’m black. That’s right. Big black woman coming through and you can bet your ass I’m coming for you and your little dog too if you call me fat. I’m not fat. I’m clothed in more to love. Get over yourself. Just because some aspire to anorexia doesn’t mean we should condemn those who love food.

Now, as I said, my life was wonderful. I was flawless, reread the paragraph before if you can’t understand that. I had a great job, again, see the previous paragraph. I had a lovely apartment. It was the third floor, with an elevator and a doorman doubling as security, perfect view of the water, high rise. On just my salary alone, I’d be living amongst the living dead and crack whores of the street. But I was spared from such deplorable living by my roommate turned best friend, Casey. I liked Casey. She renewed my faith in skinny women. They ain’t all bitches. Well, she renewed it only to revitalize it once more. I’ll explain that in a sec. The last icing on the cake of my beautiful life was my boyfriend, Tyrone. I hear you already, suspicion. I agree, I too was suspicious. How could a black man with a name like Tyrone be any good? I mean, even Erykah Badu said to call Tyrone. But I gave him a chance. He’s a numbers guy. Sweet, but nerdy behind his black square glasses but smooth enough to know how to dance when in a nightclub. Not bumping and grinding, I’m talking actual fox-trot, meringue, and salsa. The brother could do a two-step and he wasn’t addicted to Call of Duty. I almost felt like he was a match made in heaven. Almost, because he didn’t want to introduce me to his family. I mean, I’m not bad on the eyes and I was an established woman, living on her own with a career. What the hell? After a year of courting, dancing, and real good fucking, I assumed he was ashamed of my weight and deci
ded to give him an ultimatum the next time he came over.

I remember the day so clearly. How could I forget? It was the biggest clusterfuck I had experience in all of the 27 years I had thusly lived. First, I was accosted at my job. By whom? Just guess. Tyrone’s wife! Yup, she pulled up in a minivan with three kids in the back. She rolled down the passenger side window and asked, “Is your name Veronica?”

“Who wants to know?” I asked while walking to my car. Of course I was suspicious, this is San Francisco; she could be crazy. I wasn’t going to stop until I was sure I wouldn’t be kidnapped. To be fair, the windows were black tinted and so at this point I didn’t actually know that there were kids in the back.

“I do,” She said speeding the van up and then putting it into park. She jumped out, ran around the front to step in front of me. I wish she had stayed in the car. From this vantage point, I could see her weave did not match her leave out. She looked tired. If we looked up, the word tired in the dictionary the woman’s picture would have been beside the word and it made me pity her even more. “I’m Cocoa. And this is Titi, Candy and Tyrone Jr.” She said yanking open the automatic door of the minivan. “Say hi kids.” The one called junior looked to be about 7 or 8 and was playing a handheld game. He all but grunted and the one closest to the door named Titi was strapped in a baby seat and of the presumed non-talking age. Only the middle girl named Candy waved from under half laden eyes. She was shy.

To call my reaction appalled is not saying enough. I was shocked out of breath. “And what can I do for you?” I asked. This was by far, an out of this world crazy coincidence that this woman’s son’s name just happened to be the same name as my current boyfriend’s name. Right?

“Well, first you can stop sleeping with my husband.” If brains made audible sounds, I do believe my brain would have sounded like a car crash. All the thoughts I had churning smashed right into each other. “I’m, pardon?” I asked. I meant to say I beg your pardon and I’m sorry but as I said, they were smashed together.
