As he crawled back up her body, a devilish grin filled Logan’s eyes. “I know you’re not afraid to let anyone see this delectable body.”

A delicious shiver ran through her.

“I’ll show you mine if you show me yours,” he whispered, his hands already inching up under her shirt, inflaming every skin cell he touched.

“I’ve already seen yours,” she said, pulse pounding with arousal. Every swipe of his fingers, every tease of his tongue, kindled little fires of ecstasy only he knew how to extinguish. “There are plenty of beds upstairs we can find.”

  “I’ll make you a deal.”

  Oh boy.

“Touch yourself for me. Then we’ll go in the house.”

Her mouth turned to sand. “What?”

“Touch yourself,” he crooned, his voice a silken caress across her shoulder, not one inch of her exposed skin hadn’t felt his lips.”

She trembled hard. “Do you have some secret voyeurism fetish I need to know about?”

Logan licked the crease below her bottom lip. “I didn’t. But right now, just the thought of watching you finger yourself makes me rock hard.” He looked up, his gaze going from left to right. “From this position, no one will know what you’re doing but me.”

She’d know. She’d masturbating in private many times, but this…

His pupils flared in the moonlight. “Are you going to make me beg?”

Shaking her head, she glanced around, a combination of nervous beats and erotic energy pulsing inside her. Staring into his eyes, she undid the button and zipper of her shorts. When she slid her fingers inside to touch herself, Logan’s gaze lowered and a slow, seductive smile coasted over his face.

Her pussy was drenched. In a perpetual state of arousal since she saw Logan walk in the door, she wasn’t surprised by this fact. Sitting back against the lounge, she spread her legs further a part. Tilting her head to the side, she brought her hand back out of her pants, and she heard him whimper. But when she touched his lips with those same fingers, he opened his mouth with a smile, closed his mouth over them, and sucked.

Withdrawing the wet digits, she sank them into her shorts, into her wet, aching pussy. A soft sigh of pleasure escaped her lips as she pushed inside and tightened the hot flesh of her inner walls.

The tension and heat radiating from Logan was palpable evidenced by the giant bulge in his pants as he watched her. She was so aroused she couldn’t stand it. “Ohhhh,” she sighed, and began to rock her hips forward.

Very conscious of the power she held, Violet purposefully measured the movement of her fingers in and out of her body. Her nipples pebbled beneath her silk bra. With her free hand, she slid her shirt up, uncupped her breast, and tilted it upward, tugging the peak into her mouth.

Logan’s nostrils widened, his eyes glittered like hot milk chocolate. “Fuck.”

She shoved deeper, harder, wet heat saturating her pants and hand. At the same time, she pressed her palm over her clit and bore down, rubbing the tight nub. Their heavy breathing accentuated the clashing waves. More than anything she wanted him to sink onto his knees, remove her hand and replace it with his mouth.

Violet imagined him sucking her clitoris, feasting from the heat between her thighs, his thrashing tongue sinking in and out of her. But then Logan rubbed himself and squeezed, and she knew she wanted something else more. “I want you, Logan. I wish it were you inside me.”

Logan stood and swooped her up into his arms. She opened the double French door, and he used his foot to close it, the slam echoing through the house. At the steps, he gritted his teeth and said, “I can’t make it that far,” before he rounded the steps and stomped to the powder room by the front door.

Inside he all but tore her shorts off before he sheathed himself, lifted her up onto the single sink, and plunged himself inside her. The porcelain was cold against her bottom, the tall bathroom faucet bit into her back, but the only thing she felt was pleasure.

Violet wrapped her legs around Logan as he cupped one arm around her waist and placed the other flat against the mirror behind her. Then he rocked, over and over again into her with a raw urgency that stole her breath. She shivered as he kissed her behind her ear, around her throat until he sank his teeth into her collarbone, drawing a hiss of satisfaction from between her teeth.

“Oh, Logan,” she said, whispering shallowly.

It didn’t matter to her that someone could walk past the door at any moment. Hell, had they even locked it? She shuddered, leaning her head back against the mirror.

Logan sank into her, thrust deep, filling her with hot, sweet pleasure. She arched in unspeakable ecstasy, lifting her hips to match each powerful drive. With agonized gasps, she forced the breath from her lungs. His short, ragged sighs penetrated the room as light seeped in from under the closed door. He pressed harder and faster as her thighs began to shake. She felt the orgasm building, could feel every blood cell in her body heat up with tension and desire.

“Oh God, Violet. What…?” he began to ask her before his body tensed and he exploded inside her, continuing to pump over and over again.

She wasn’t far behind him. To keep from screaming out, she locked her mouth on a spot on his chest and bit down, groaning, seized by a rush of sensation so intense she shuddered with unabashed abandon.

A long while later, she released a harsh rush of breath.

“Damn, woman. You’re going to kill me,” he croaked on a shallow pant.

  *****

Violet placed a load of clothes in her washing machine and almost hit her head on the cabinet door above when she jerked up. The doorbell was ringing. The last thing she wanted was company. She would have ignored it, seeing as though her car was in her garage and no one really knew she was at home, but whoever it was, they were persistent. The doorbell quieted but now they banged on the door.

She stacked the basket on top, closed the door, and walked through her living area into the foyer. When she looked out the peephole, air whooshed out of her lungs and her heart began to beat rapidly in her chest.

  It was Logan.

What the heck was he doing here? How did he even know where she lived?

When she opened the door, she didn’t have time to say anything before he stepped in, took her by the shoulders, and fastened his mouth to hers, smothering her startled gasp.

She placed her palms on his chest to push him away but ended up gripping him fiercely close instead. His warm, delicious taste invaded her senses as his tongue dueled with hers. Her entire body shook, an explosive combination of adrenaline, delight, and pleasure. The kiss was urgent, bruising even, as he kissed her with a deep hunger that was powerful, and devastating to her heart and soul.

  Logan was here.

  Logan was kissing her.

She whimpered when he broke the kiss.

“That was goodbye,” he said before kicking the door close with his foot.

He moved her backward, her thighs colliding with the sofa table she had in the entryway. Before she could protest, he yanked her shorts and panties down her legs and lifted her onto the desk. “This is hello,” he muttered before dropping to his knees and closing his mouth over her pussy, sending jolts of pure, unadulterated bliss to her groin.

“Logan,” she gasped. “Oh, God.” She closed her eyes and struggled for breath. No man had ever taken her with this kind of raw, primitive passion.

“Why the hell did you leave without saying goodbye?” he asked huskily before swirling his tongue around her clit.

She couldn’t find the words, any words. She was left with only feeling, shards of pleasure that rippled through her pussy like a wave. Her orgasm was so swift, so cataclysmic; she had to fight for air. Tears pricked at the back of her eyelids, but her pride kept them from running freely down her face.

Logan rose, pressed his forehead to hers. “Tell me. Tell me why.”

She scrambled off the table and yanked up her clothes and avoided his answer with a question of her
own. “What are you doing here?”

“You don’t know?” he asked her, an incredulous expression on his face.

Walking away on shaky legs, she stepped into her living area and put her oversized sofa between them. If he touched her again, it would be over for her. “Look. This weekend was great, but that’s all it was.” The stricken look on his face twisted her heart. “I…I can’t do this.”

Logan gazed at her. “Violet… Did it mean nothing? Everything we said? Everything we shared?”

  It meant everything.

She didn’t think she was in love with him, but the ache quivering inside her told her she felt something for him and it scared her down to her toes. How could she feel so deeply for him in one day? What she felt for the ass-wipe who’d broken up with her via email didn’t even compare to what she felt for Logan, and she didn’t understand it. She turned around, not wanting him to see the tears that blurred her vision. “I don’t know what you want me to say,” she whispered.

“I need you,” Logan said in a husky, ravaged voice. “I…I don’t understand the feelings raging around inside me. I’ve never ever felt this way before.”

Violet dragged in an unsteady breath and laughed softly. “I know exactly how you feel.”

He came up to stand behind her. “When I woke up and you were gone without even saying goodbye, I couldn’t breath.”

That finally broke her. She swung around and threw her arms around him. He pulled her close and lifted her slightly in the air.

“I’m not going to make you any promises, but I want to see what this is. I want to know if we have a chance. Can we do that?” He set her down and leaned back to look at her.

A wave of relief swept through her, and she nodded her head. “Yes.”

“I can tell you this.” He cupped her face and kissed each cheek, her forehead, nose, and then her lips. “I won’t ever lie to you, and if we end up not working…” His mouth quirked up in a small grin. “…I promise not to break it off by e-mail.”

That coaxed a little smile over her lips.

  “Deal?”

  She lifted her head. “Deal.”

Logan cupped her face between his hands and kissed her as deeply and intensely as he’d kissed her that night on the beach. Linking her hands with his, she walked backwards toward her hallway. “You know,” she said. “We just had our first fight.”

A sly, sexy look slanted over his features. “Oh really.”

“You know what that means, right?”

  “Make-up sex?”

Once they made it into her room, Violet stepped away with a low, naughty laugh. “Make-up sex,” she agreed, and pulled her shirt up and over her head.

  The End

Did you miss how it all began?

  Excerpt

Dayna reached out, touched his chest, and willed the butterflies zinging around in her stomach to settle. She stroked him right above the slit before the buttons began, moving her finger in a slow, sensuous circle. What she wanted to do was tease him, tempt him, but instead she struggled for breath as her skin connected with his. Every cell in her body blistered with unbridled need. “Who says I don’t?”

He grabbed her forearms and squeezed. It didn’t hurt, but it let her know that she was playing with a fire she might not be able to put out or contain once it started. “He could come crawling back. If we do this, how will you feel when he does?”

Slowly, she began to unbutton his shirt. Eager to see him naked, her tongue snaked out over her bottom lip. “I wouldn’t take him back if he came to me crawling across a pile of diamonds and gold.”

He enclosed both of her hands in one of his and tilted her chin up with the other. “Are you sure about that?”

She moved around him to return to the blanket and glanced around. She took off her tank and removed her shorts, carrying her panties down with them. Once she stepped away, she was completely naked. “I’ve never been surer of anything in my life.” His mouth was slightly open when she passed him and walked into the water, her back to him. The not altogether uncomfortable coolness of the water energized her body and made her feel like a sexy sea nymph.

Dayna stopped when the water covered her hips. She didn’t turn to look at Jared, to see his reaction, to see if he was still standing by the shore. She smoothed the palms of her hands over the water in a wide arc and watched as her fingers glistened over the surface.

Even though it felt like hours, she knew it was only seconds when he came up behind her and trailed one of his hands down the middle of her back. Her reaction was instantaneous, hot, needy, want. The cold between her legs didn’t ease the fiery ache she felt, the desire to have him inside her.

Jared moved her hair to the side and applied a series of scorching, delectable kisses from her shoulder up to the underside of her ear. “I’ve wanted to do this for so very long.”

His words thrilled her, excited her as his lips moved across her shoulder blade, the back of her neck, the other shoulder, up to her other ear where he bit and tugged it into his mouth. “You are so beautiful.”

Pure and swift, pleasure bloomed inside her, and a delicious languor spread through her limbs. His slow, easy touch curled her toes and sent tingles to her belly. Like a cat, she rubbed her backside along his warm, muscular body. He groaned, and she felt his dick harden against her bottom.
