Evolution: The Revelation

Johnny smiled and morphed into an Ancient Visitor, then said, “Oh by the way, the name is Solmun you stupid life form.”
At this point, Solmun was only talking to himself; Leonardo was no more.
Solmun entered the opening dug into the ground then onward into the buried spacecraft through the hatch to find Will Davis standing over Cameron with a weapon pointed at the mortally wounded Inspector. The Ancient Visitor told Cameron as he morphed from his natural form into Inspector General Sanchez, “You never had a chance. We were watching you from the moment you took the case. Quite frankly, I didn’t believe you could make it this far. Agent Davis here was fully confident that you would follow through. Or should I say, Lenlor.”
As he said that, Will morphed into his natural form.
Solmun continued, “When he came up with the plan to have the offspring of Jennifer and David Cho be the fall guy in this operation, I was skeptical. But Lenlor was sure you were smart enough to uncover enough information in the investigation to lead you here.”
With blood seeping from his mouth, Cameron asked, “What was so important that I be here?
“You’re going to be found up there with your friends, dead of course. It will be blamed on the Followers of Divinity. Next week, we will have our puppet, Cassondra, at Babylon Corporation call for United Nations support for integrating the UM ingredient into the production of new and improved versions of the Visor in order to have a better security net for the world through that device. In time the advanced versions of the Visor will be embedded into the minds of people. Future enhancements will need to have UM added to the process for better connections to the Visor. Our design will eventually leak enough UM into mankind to allow us to make them do as we please. This craft is the central hub for controlling mankind. When our kind comes here in a thousand of your years, it will be used to govern our new army of humans.”
“I’m not the only one who knows,” Cameron said, gasping for air.
“That is where you’re wrong. Your Followers of Divinity people are all gone. Your partner, Johnny won’t be telling anyone about this. As a matter of fact, I’ve already deleted his reports. Even your parents have limited information, and you did us a favor by having them resign. It was perfect.”
Cameron looked over to the craft’s console where Lily was loading information and tried to move toward it. He was frustrated that he couldn’t move.
Lily then told Solmun who had morphed back into an Ancient Visitor, “The ship will move again in minutes. Lenlor and I need to get into the regeneration tubs for the long hibernation.”
Lily entered into one of the three blue liquid tubs for a long hibernation, while Solmun grabbed Cameron to bring him above ground to die.
Cameron told Solmun, “I hope you toss and turn the whole hibernation for the thousand years and can’t sleep a wink.”
“Oh, I’m not joining them; I have a task to do. There will someday be one sent by the Ruler of the Realm to save mankind and my job is to end that life. It is something I’ve been destined to do.”
Lenlor interrupted Solmun, “The ship will move again in moments; you need to get out and toss this human’s carcass on the ground. Time is running out.”
Solmun smiled as much as an Ancient Visitor could do with his stone face and reached down for Cameron to bring him to the surface.
Suddenly Taylor burst through the hatch blasting the stun gun Cameron gave her on maximum. This disruption caused the two Ancient Visitors to react. Solmun stepped out of the craft to take cover behind the hull. Lenlor didn’t have time to take cover as Hailey was on his back firing point blank into Lenlor’s head, killing him.
Before she could relish the small victory, Solmun fired his disintegrator at Hailey, taking her left leg off from the thigh down. At that point, the ship moved and Solmun was staring at nothing but solid rock. Confident that he hit Hailey and mortally wounded her to die along with Cameron, Solmun morphed into Johnny, then went up to the surface to set up the scene.
Still alive in the closed craft, Cameron felt the life start to leave his body. Before he could die, Taylor crawled over to him, and pulled Cameron toward one of the unused, blue liquid chambers. He tried to tell her as he choked on his own blood, “I’m sorry I got you into this. I…I really am.”
‘Don’t talk,” she told him. “Drink some of this.”
Taylor, shaking from the pain of losing her leg, used her hand to cup some of the blue liquid and brought it up to Cameron’s mouth. She told him, “Drink, it has properties to temporarily keep you alive while I set the Blue chamber for hibernation sleep. Maybe we’ll be found later and they can save our lives.”
As Taylor gave more of the blue liquid from the Ancient Visitor’s tub to Cameron, he could not help but remember what Sha’nay Barnwell had told him earlier, “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit sayth to the churches. To him that overcometh, to him will I give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and upon the stone a new name written, which no one knoweth but he that receiveth it.”
Taylor then with her depleted strength lifted the delirious Cameron into the blue liquid chamber. His body slowly submerged into the tub as he mumbled toward Taylor, “Are you the Spirit?” Then after tasting the blue liquid on his lips, he thought, “Is this the manna?” Then he struggled as he asked, “Where is the white stone?” He then blacked out as the chamber came on line and he went into hibernation.

31st century.
With the hatch to the buried craft opened, Belial entered the craft followed by his guards who were dragging Steven and Hailey with them. Inside a couple of meters, Belial hesitated as he found two bodies lying on the floor of the spacecraft. Then, without regard for the dead, Belial walked right over their bones.
Steven observed that one was the carcass of an Ancient Visitor. Even though its body hadn’t looked too decomposed, it surely had been dead for a while. The other body had very much decomposed. Judging by the bone structure, he assumed it was a female enhanced with part of one leg missing. This body was leaning on one of three blue liquid chambers the Ancient Visitors used to change humans to enhanced, as well as to be used for long hibernations. He had been in one when Steven had been abducted and changed. He had also been in one when he and the others destroyed the Ancient Visitor ship then escaped in one in a transport for the long journey back to Earth.
Belial, not one to be patient, ordered his guards, “Wake them up now. We need to proceed with the plan.”
Two of Belial’s guards using the control panel on the sides of the blue liquid chambers, proceeded to open the chambers to awaken their people.
The first to awaken was Lily, she slowly left the chamber and stood on the floor of the craft. At first she was a little disorientated, but only for a moment. She then bowed before Belial, and expressed, “Finally, I get to be in your presence again, Master. I’m so relieved to be among our people. It is gratifying that you are here sixty resolutions of this planet around its star earlier than I calculated. Even though I was in hibernation, the earlier wakeup is highly appreciated.”
Belial didn’t even acknowledge her, and ordered her, “Rid your image of that hideous appearance. Human likeness makes me sick. What angers me more, He who we are to destroy, loves them the way they are. So take on your natural appearance.”
Without hesitation, Lily morphed into her natural Ancient Visitor form. Belial was pleased, and said, “Udslin, that is much better. Now tell me if you accomplished your mission.”
“Master, it is done. We were able to configure a mixture that was introduced into the human body that will render them your slaves with no hesitancy. Once this ship’s console is activated, a simple signal is released, and this planet is yours without a fight.”
As Udslin finished explaining to Belial, a cold dark presence entered the craft. Steven recognized it right away. It was the same feeling he felt on the Ancient Visitor ship they had destroyed, as well as in the virtual
meeting room. It was Satan.
Using each of Belial’s guards one at a time to speak, since Satan had no physical form, Satan told Belial, “You have done well, my protégé. You will, as promised, be given all the riches of the Realm. Our quest to unseat the Ruler of the Realm is at hand, and we must engage Him here at this moment in time.”
“We, my people and I, have waited an eternity to get back to the Realm and take it for ourselves,” Belial said. “So let’s not wait another moment. Udslin, activate the console and give my army of slaves the order to battle the Ruler.”
Udslin waved its hand over the console, and then suddenly bright and colorful lights appeared. As Udslin worked the console, Steven noticed Hailey acting strangely. She was in total obedience to the Ancient Visitors, and stood up to take her commands from her new masters. Steven wondered why he wasn’t as affected as Hailey.
Then it occurred to him. The UM ingredient was integrated into the chip that the people of this time had embedded in their minds. He wasn’t affected because he, due to Father Willie’s warning, didn’t go through with the procedure to have it implanted. Steven chose to use the headset instead.
Now he thought to himself, maybe I can make my way over to the console and disable it.
It was then that one of the guards knelt down and with a cold and dark presence whispered in Steven’s ear, “I can feel you want to get to that console. You don’t have the strength or the courage to make it there. Your best option is to join forces with Belial, and maybe he’ll bestow upon you some riches in the Realm for your efforts. What do you have to lose?”
Steven remembered when Father Willie said that we all have a battle inside us between good and evil, and that evil was the easy way out, but it was also easily beaten. So he thought of all the good things in his life. He thought of his parents, Ed and Eva Moran, and his family. He remembered the friends he came to know like, Matt, D’Shawn, Marcus, Cynthia, and others. He also remembered Hailey, though disappointed he had run out of time to court her, he was nonetheless happy to have met her. So without hesitation, Steven denied Satan, “Go away and go find someone else to hear your drivel of temptation; I have no use for it.”
Steven then tried to move inch by inch toward the console.
On the temple Mount, near the Gold Dome, Kaiden sat meditating when Michael, Gabriel, Uriel and Raphael surrounded him in a defensive posture as the people around him fell in a hypnotic trance. Michael told him, “It’s too late; mankind has fallen to the side of the Prince of Darkness. Perhaps all’s now lost in the fight for man.”
Looking around as the people stopped meditating, talking, sleeping, or socializing, Kaiden told his guardians, “Mankind is stronger than it realizes. I have always believed in mankind, whether or not they believed in themselves.”
Raphael expressed, “I have to admit, they have disappointed in the past. I had hoped they would have come through in their last hour.”
With his arms reaching out from his side, Kaiden, known to them as the one to who will take on evil, told his guardians, “Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, and Raphael, you have served mankind through their evolution. Now it is time to have faith in them.”
Because his motor functions were not in his control due to being wounded, Steven was slower than he had hoped in reaching the console. Satan again whispered in his ear as Belial and his followers reveled in their upcoming victory having now secured mankind’s mind, “It’s pointless to even try. You’ll never make it. You should just give up and join with Belial.”
“You’re right,” Steven told him as he looked over to the other blue liquid chamber. “I don’t have to make it to the console.”
To Satan’s dismay, Cameron fell out of the tub onto the floor.
From Cameron’s perspective, he was still a bit delirious and weak. However, he slowly regained some of his focus. He noticed the craft was filled with Ancient Visitors standing about. There were also two enhanced humans watched over by those same Ancient Visitors. Next to him was a decomposed Ancient Visitor; he figured it was the one impersonating Will Davis.
Then Cameron remembered and spoke her name, “Taylor.” He said it again, “Taylor.” He was about to repeat it again, but to his disappointment, he looked at the blue liquid chamber to his right and saw her skeletal remains trying to enter the last tub in vein after getting him submerged in one of the blue liquid chambers.
Even though she had been dead for what appeared to be an extremely long time, it was only a moment earlier for Cameron that she had saved him, at least temporarily. As he took a moment to mourn her, he again remembered what Sha’nay Barnwell said to him, “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. To him that overcometh, to him will I give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and upon the stone a new name written, which no one knoweth but he that receiveth it.”
Ok, he thought to himself, Taylor is the spirit, the blue liquid is the manna, but what is the rock? Then he realized something was still in his pocket. It was the stun grenade he hadn’t thrown yet. It was a small, white, rough, and round object that resembled a rock.
He held it in his hand and viewed the name written on it that he was sure wasn’t there before. It put a passing smile on his face. Cameron then released the pin on the grenade and threw it in the direction of the ship’s console.
To the horror of Satan, the grenade exploded.
Chapter 12
31st Century.
Steven, dazed and jumbled, was on his back on the floor staring up, and not knowing at the moment where he was. He could only see things happening around him as others wandered in shock while some were scattered haphazardly throughout the craft around him. He couldn’t, though, hear anything. As his mind started to focus, he recognized some of the occupants around him in the smoke filled close quarters. It was then that he remembered an explosion.
To one side of him, Hailey had just sat up looking just as confused as he felt. She hadn’t been as close to the detonation as he had been, and she regained her concentration faster than he did. She slowly crawled over to Steven, and pulled him over to behind the three blue liquid chambers where there was less smoke. While the Ancient Visitors scrambled about, she was able to get Steven to a place they could catch their breath.
There they found Cameron clinging to life while leaning on the chamber he had just fallen out of. Unable to access the now disabled Grid to learn the best medical treatment for Cameron, Hailey performed first aid using the small quantity of medical supplies she had carried on her in her emergency pack. She did what she could to help Cameron, but Hailey knew that there wasn’t much she could do other than extend his life a few moments longer.
Steven started to hear the commotion going on around him, as he recognized Belial’s voice, and he yelled to Lily/Udslin at a console spitting smoke and sparks into the cabin of the buried spacecraft, “Tell me now that we still have control over the humans? Otherwise, they’re no use to me.”
“Master, it’s useless. The console’s been destroyed, and I’ll need time to configure another. It took me a few of Earth’s rotations to construct this device. It will only take me a fraction of that time to build another.”
Now extremely irate and persuaded by Satan, Belial said with fury, “These humans are more of an annoyance than useful. I have grown tired of them. From this point forward, we will lay waste to them, and I will deposit their ashes at the foot of the Ruler of the Realm. He loved them over us, well, now He will be destroyed along with them and then the Realm will be mine.”
Belial then turned around, and with haste, exited the craft with his guards in tow. One by one they left the craft without so much as a thought for Steven, Hailey, and a dying Cameron. That is, until Lily/Udslin, the last Ancient Visitor to leave stopped at the exit hatch. She spoke to Cameron, “Your act of disobedience will not stop us, for we are destined to conquer the Realm. Humans were to be only a small part of our army. We have countless beings we control who will be
more than enough to battle The Ruler of the Realm and his forces. Belial wanted humans to be there as well because the Ruler favored your people. Otherwise you have little purpose in our plans. You, Cameron are not only, not part of our plans, but also you won’t be leaving this craft.” She then waved her hand and a virtual image of the hatch’s control panel appeared in front of Lily/Udslin. After a few movements of her fingers, Lily/Udslin left the craft and the hatch closed immediately, trapping Cameron, Steven, and Hailey inside.
Now sitting in complete darkness, Steven, Hailey, and Cameron felt a strong vibration for about a minute, then it stopped. They each had a sensation that the craft had moved.
Steven asked Hailey, “Do we have any light source to speak of; otherwise, we’ll just have to sit here in the dark until someone can come to get us. With a little luck, Marcus or one of the others will notice us missing and come to get us. Hopefully, I’m not being too optimistic.”
Thinking quickly, Hailey pulled from her jacket pocket a small quarter shaped object, the James Connor program. She then ordered, “Initiate program.” The program started, and the James Connor image illuminated enough light for Steven and Hailey to see each other.
“Hailey and Steven, I see you were able to enter the craft, were you able to--”
Steven interrupted, “James, we’ll tell you about that later, at the moment we are stuck inside the craft. There’s little light and choking smoke. We’d like to get out of here.”
The program paused for a quick moment as it analyzed the situation. At that point, James explained, “Unfortunately, I don’t have much good news for you.”
Steven asked, “James, can you please clarify?”
“This is a specially made craft that moves randomly from time to time replacing the rock, rubble, and dirt to the place it last sat. It is ingenious, the reason is that so not to be disturbed during long hibernations, and the Ancient Visitors would--”
