Watching them two make out is easily the hottest thing that I have ever witnessed. I rock my hips on Maddox, spreading my legs a bit more to get the pressure that I need.

“She likes watching us, Mad.” He smirks into Lenny’s mouth and it almost sends me over the edge. Fuck. Lenny sits up and slides behind me. His hand presses on my back and pushes me down so that my naked breasts rest on Maddox’s ink covered chest. I bring my lips to his. His soft, velvety tongue slides across my bottom lip, before taking it between his teeth. Lenny slides his hand over my ass and pulls my hips up and slowly slides into me. I moan into Maddox’s mouth at the fullness. Lenny pulls out and immediately thrusts back in. His force pushes me forward causing Maddox’s cock to rub my clit.

“Are you guys–oh, sorry.” I look back towards the door to see Callan turning around quickly and scurrying down the hallway. I look at Maddox and can’t help but giggle.

“No, no. Don’t move. I’m so fucking close.” Lenny’s words send warmth flooding to my core, my giggles stop immediately, and I lean back down to get Maddox’s cock to hit the right spot. Knowing Lenny is going to come builds me up quick and before I know it, I’m clenching down on his cock and coming myself. Maddox not taking his eyes off of me for a second. Lenny releases inside of me as I’m riding out the last waves of my own orgasm. Lenny leans his head onto my back as he breathes heavily.

“Lenny, get off. My turn,” Maddox says in his all too familiar cocky voice. Lenny pulls out of me and then Maddox slides me off of him. “On your hands and knees, Beautiful.” I do as I’m told, and Maddox wastes no time sliding right into me. Lenny moves to the side of us and brings his hand to my core, using his thumb to rub circles on my oversensitive clit. I buck and jostle at the overwhelming feeling, his fingers relentless.

Maddox fucks me hard and fast. With the help of Lenny, another orgasm is building, and I think I may die. I’m pretty sure of it, actually. Death by orgasm. It’s not the worst way to go. I can’t remember how many I had last night. Five? And now this morning. Yeah, I’m dying for sure. I’m already sore, but in the best possible way. Maddox’s grip tightens on my hips as he slams into me. The sharp slap of skin on skin fills the room. His thrusts become erratic and I know he’s going to fill me with his come. Another orgasm rips through me and I cry out as Maddox stills inside of me, filling my insides with warmth.

A sharp stinging sensation on my ass has me whipping my head around. I glare at Maddox, who’s wearing a smirk on his face.

“Don’t act like you don’t like it.” He wiggles his eyebrows at me. I try to act like I’m mad, but it doesn’t work. I can’t help but laugh. Maddox’s eyes shine bright, they look almost silver in the morning sunlight.

“Let’s go, before Alec really does come up here with pots and pans. I’m starving anyway.” Lenny disappears into the bathroom. I follow quickly behind him – planning on getting in some shower time, too – and I shout after him, “you’re always starving.”

  “Good point.”

Callan is an amazing cook. Everything that he has made has been super yummy. I vote that he cooks every meal from now on. I asked him to teach me some things and he said that he would. We’re planning on making dinner together, after we go grocery shopping.

We’re all cuddled together – kind of. I know the plan is to move around to the guys’ houses to keep things fair (mostly because of the commute to work), I hope one of them has a couch big enough to fit us all. The doorbell rings, we share curious looks. Callan stands and walks to the door. When he opens it, this high shrill… sound (for lack of a better word), attacks my ears and causes me to cringe. I look to the guys for help, and they’re all wearing similar expressions on their faces.

“Callan! You’re back. I knew you must be back when I saw all those cars outside.” This… woman, throws her arms around Callan’s neck. My Callan. “How was your vay-cay–“ The last word comes out in slow motion and then fades off, she’s stunned to see all of us, or maybe it’s just me. She’s almost as tall as Callan in her heels, her leopard print heels. Cause that’s necessary at this time of morning. Her leather pants… well, let’s just say someone needs to take this poor girl shopping. And I do not volunteer as tribute.

I’m glaring. Intentionally? Maybe. My eyebrows are high into my hair line, and my eyes as wide as saucers. Her face pales, almost as pale as her bleach blonde hair.

Callan peels her filthy paws off him. “Hello, Wendy.” He says, clearing his throat, as he takes a step back. Smart move. “This is Alec, Maddox, Lenny and Fri–uh, my girlfriend, Friday.” Callan’s voice shakes, and he points to each of us as he says our names. Not going to lie, I like the girlfriend thing, but it doesn’t chase away the jealousy and rage that came out to play when this outdated hussy threw her arms around my man.

“Your… girlfriend?” She swallows hard. I didn’t think it was possible for her voice to reach a higher pitch, but alas, it is. And it is so unfortunate. What did this girl do to deserve a voice like that? I pray for her future husband…

“Would you like to come in? I made breakfast and we have plenty left over.” Look at him, being neighborly and nice. Too nice. Way. Too. Nice. I’m not a fan.

“No, thank you. I must be going.” She shuffles quickly out of the house and away to who knows where (and who cares? Not me). Good girl. She gets the hint. I doubt she will be back here any time soon. I know her kind. She’ll sneak waves and hellos to him when she catches him alone, maybe she’ll even try to start a conversation, but as soon as she sees me, she’ll act like she wasn’t talking to him at all. A coward, that’s what she is.

Callan closes the door, turns and shrugs. “Neighbor.”

“Uh-huh.” I cross my arms and narrow my eyes at him.

“She wants your balls, man,” Lenny laughs. Maddox and Alec snicker. I’m trying to calm my boiling blood. I do not enjoy seeing some woman, especially one with a voice like that, with her paws all over one of my guys. My eyebrows are still raised, and I know Callan can read my mind. He smiles, and all is forgotten.

“That was… interesting.” I say, tucking my hair behind my ear. “And something I could do without ever seeing again.”

“…and hearing.” I point a finger at Maddox and nod in agreement.

“I’m sorry, Friday. Really, she’s just my neighbor. She’s been very, uh, friendly, ever since I moved here. You have to know that I would never–that nothing has ever happened.”

“Because she wants your dick,” Lenny says again. Callan and I both glare daggers at him. Even if it’s true, I don’t want to hear it.

“I don’t think she’ll be a problem. Did you see her face when she saw Friday?” Maddox lets out a deep laugh. “Man, I wish I had that on camera. She almost shit herself.”

“What can I say? I don’t like seeing girls hanging on my men.” I shrug and settle back into the couch, patting the spot on the side of me for Callan to come back. He does and I lay my head on his shoulder.

“You’re men, huh?” Callan’s mouth lifts up into a half smile.

“That’s what you are, right? Isn’t that what you said?” I’m reconsidering my words, suddenly feeling insecure at my forwardness.

“Oh, we absolutely are,” Lenny says. “All of us.”

“Let’s get going, we have to return these rentals.”

  ***

I’d never been inside of a Tesla, until today. And let me tell you, it’s something I should have done a lot sooner. The inside of this car is amazing. It’s like I’m in another world. All of us did not have to come for the ride to drop the rentals off, but since we were all awake, we decided we may as well. Though, I think the guys may be regretting that decision. I look over my shoulder and laugh in my head at the sight. Lenny is squished between Alec and Maddox in the small backseat, and let me tell you, that is some funny shit. Of course, since we are in Callan’s car, he made
sure that I sat in the front. Giving Maddox the good ole’ fuck you. And what’s funny about it? No one argued. Not even you-know-who.

“How are you going to get to work tomorrow?” I ask Alec.

“One of the guys from the shop is going to pick me up, he doesn’t live far from here. I’ll get my car on the way home tomorrow.” I nod my head in understanding. He’s got it all figured out then.

“I’m going to drop you guys off at the house and then Friday and I are going grocery shopping.”

They grunt their okays and keep their faces buried in their phones, except Lenny. He seems to be avoiding his phone lately and I wonder if his mom is still texting him. I pull my phone out from my pocket and snap a quick photo, trying to hold in my laugh. The look on their faces is priceless and I thank the universe for capturing it in a photo. I make a mental note to print this out and put it with the photos from the ropes course. They’re all getting hung in my apartment… when I find one.

I haven’t paid my phone much attention lately. I’ve never been one to be addicted to my phone anyway, but I find myself wanting to engage with the guys more than be on my phone. I used to busy myself on the phone, to keep myself occupied. My shithole ex hasn’t bothered me in a while. Not since he got that selfie from Maddox. Can’t say that I blame him. He was always a coward. I wouldn’t expect him to be different now

  CHAPTER 21

  Friday

Grocery shopping with Callan was interesting. He’s very particular about what he buys, but I guess that’s why he cooks so well. He talks a lot when shopping, mostly to himself, but I made sure to listen. Knowing that I would learn something, and I did. I found out how to choose the ripest fruits and vegetables. Which cuts of meat to buy, picking the freshest herbs and so on.

We’re standing in his kitchen now, aprons on and knives in hand.

“When you cut the vegetables, you want them to be as close in size as possible, so they cook evenly. Like this,” he takes the carrots and slices them into three’s, then takes the potatoes and cuts them in half. He repeats the same with the onions. I watch with interest and adoration as he works.

We’re making a roast. We haven’t put anything in the oven yet and it already smells delicious.

“Here, you try.” He moves out of the way so I can slide in front of the cutting board. I take a potato and use my knife to slice it in half, the same way he did. “Good, now keep doing that while I prepare the roast.”

I finish with the potatoes, onions and carrots and leave them all in a large bowl by the stove. Callan is slathering the roast with salt and pepper and a little bit of olive oil, he’s very enthralled in that roast. There is a large skillet on the stove, the fire underneath it is on medium-high.

“The trick with roast is to sear it before throwing it into the oven. Doing this makes it more flavorful. It’s a step most people skip, but you shouldn’t. Do not cut corners when cooking.” He points a finger at me, letting me know that he takes cooking very seriously. He adds a small amount of olive oil into the pan before adding the vegetables. He lets them brown a bit on all sides before dumping them into the large roasting pan. He lets the skillet heat up for another moment and then adds more olive oil. Once the pan is hot enough, he puts the roast in. The sizzle it makes is nothing less than satisfying. The smell is even better.

He sears each side and then places it into the pan with the vegetables. He throws some rosemary and thyme on top of the roast. Then he pours in beef broth, just enough to almost cover the vegetables. He adds a bit more salt and pepper, then pours some red wine into the pan that he seared the roast in and uses a whisk to scrape off the remnants on the bottom.

“This is going to add a lot of flavor to the broth. You should always use every part of what you cook with. There is so much flavor that is forgotten. Don’t forget the flavor.” He’s so serious about cooking, that it makes me laugh. He looks to me at the sound of my laughter and smiles in return. My laugh fades to a smile of its own. We look at each other for a few moments, just smiling. The oven beep pulls us away from our “moment” and he places the cover on the roasting pan and then puts it in the oven. “That’ll cook for a few hours. Dinner should be done around 6:30. Now to prepare dessert.” He claps his hands together and I arch an eyebrow.

“Dessert? That sounds even better. What are we making?”

“Banana cream pie,” he says with a smile. “Normally I like to make food from scratch, but not when it comes to my banana cream pie.

  “Why is that?”

“Nostalgia. Henrietta, the maid I had growing up used to make it this way. All of us would devour it whenever she made it. The older we got, the more she had to make. At one point she ended up making each our own pie. When I was little, I thought it was a special recipe or something, she made it seem that way. Like it was magical. When I was older, I begged her for the recipe and she never wanted to give it. I think at that point, she was ashamed that it wasn’t all that special. If only she’d realized that she was what made it special, not the ingredients.”

“She sounds sweet,” I run my hand up and down Callan’s back, his muscles tense and I make a mental note to give him a massage. He seems a bit sad after reminiscing. “How’d you end up getting the recipe then?” I ask, trying to lighten the mood.

“When my parents died, I had to go clean out the house, to see if there was anything that I wanted. I told Henrietta that she could stay there, but she’d said that she had enough of that house – not that I can blame her – and she wanted to go back home to her kids and grandbabies. When I left that day, I got into my car and noticed a large book on my passenger side seat. When I opened it up, it was full of recipes that I’d come to love over the years. All handwritten. This one included.”

“You have me excited about this pie now. I hope it’s as good as you say.”

“It is,” Maddox grunts as he opens the fridge to get a beer. “Hope you’re making a few.”

  “Planned on it,” Callan answers.

“Okay, so what’s in this secret recipe?”

Come to find out, this secret special recipe is just a box of vanilla pudding, mashed up banana’s, sliced bananas, Cool Whip and Vanilla Wafer Cookies.

  Super easy, and super delicious.

We end up making four pies. Callan promises that he will share his with me, but the other guys will probably need their own. After we make the pie mixture, by combining the mashed bananas and pudding, we pour them into the pie shells. Then layer the top with the sliced bananas. Next is time for the Cool Whip. We each take a tub and spread a good amount on top, I watch Callan, hoping to steal his technique, but no luck. His first one comes out so clean and professional looking. Mine? A toddler could have done a better job.

He doesn’t realize I’m watching him with jealousy in my eyes. So, I take my rubber spatula, the one that’s covered in Cool Whip and I gently tap him on the nose with it.

Sucker didn’t even see it coming.

He freezes, and for a second I think I made a mistake. Callan has been taking this entire thing pretty seriously, maybe I messed up. Maybe now isn’t the time to joke around? I open my mouth to apologize, when he takes a much larger scoop of Cool Whip and covers the majority of my face with it.

I let out a surprised shriek. I bring my hand to my chest and let out a mock gasp.

  “Callan Grant, how dare you?”

“You started it!” I bring my spatula to his lips and leave a generous amount. I then grab the collar of his shirt and pull him down to me and lick it all off. He moans into my mouth but doesn’t react otherwise. The licking turns to kissing, which turns into half of the Cool Whip on my face to transfer onto his own. Before I know it, we’re making out pretty heavily, and it’s the most delicious kiss I have ever taken part in.

“What the… seriously guys?” Alec enters the kitchen, stopping in front of the fridge. Callan and I both erupt i
n laughter. I can only imagine what we must look like right now. “Don’t get any of that shit in my pie.”

“Oh don’t be such a party pooper,” I fling a blob of Cool Whip at him, but it misses and plops on the floor. I frown at my awful aim. He looks down at it, and then slowly back up at me.

“You’re going to pay for that.”

  Yes, please. I think.

I want to say it, but I don’t. I just smile and watch his firm butt cheeks shake as he walks away. I turn back to Callan who has white stuff smeared all over his face, including his glasses. He picks up a towel and wipes my face for me. I do the same for him, before moving to the sink and wetting a paper towel to give my face more of a rinse. He does the same and cleans his glasses while he’s at it. I give Callan another quick kiss before finishing the pies (with clean spatulas). We put them into the fridge (no baking required) after adding the crushed cookies to the top.

I’ve never cared enough to learn about cooking before. I’d get by on delivery, fast food and easy meals. You know, the packaged and boxed kind. There are a few “real” meals that I know how to make. Like lasagna and meatloaf. Breakfast is easy too, but I don’t think they stand a chance against Callan’s cooking. Clearly, he’s passionate about it and that makes me want to learn more. And in turn, learn more about him. He makes cooking fun, though, I do enjoy making the guys meals every now and then. They really seem to appreciate it, and it makes me happy. Maybe one day I’ll be as good as Callan.

The scent of herbs and roasting vegetables takes over the kitchen, “the food smells delicious already.” Callan turns to me, his bright green eyes shining. He steps closer and presses his lips to mine, ever so gently.

“What was that for?” I ask, feeling a little drunk. Even though I haven’t had even an ounce of alcohol. Now, if this was cooking with Maddox, I think that’d be a different story.
