The Boss’s Secret Baby

I wanted him now. I bit my lip as I slid a finger inside of myself and thumbed my clit, hard and fast. I wanted him inside of me as I started to come, biting my lip to stay quiet when I just wanted to scream his name. I shuddered as I exploded, feeling it everywhere in my body as I gasped. I dropped my hand down and took a deep breath, closing my eyes.

I wished to hell that was enough to stay focused the rest of the night. I leaned forward and breathed in. Now it smelled like peaches and sex in here.

I cleaned myself up, fixed my clothes and stood. I had trouble walking as I headed towards the sink. Jesus, I didn’t even kiss him and I was already weak in the knees, as well as everywhere else.

I washed my hands and pressed a cold paper towel to my face. I breathed in deeply and stared into the mirror, seeing my flushed face and bright eyes. It had been a long time since I looked this way. I left the bathroom, feeling a little careless. I strode back to the table to sit down, seeing that the food was there.

“I’m starving,” I said, picking up my fork and smiling sweetly at him.

“What were you doing in there for so long?” Carter asked as I looked at him. He leaned in and inhaled as I shivered, still damp with desire. “Mmmm, I like that.”

I knew that he could smell me. I looked down at my plate, my stomach growling with hunger. I started to eat as he leaned back and cut his steak in silence for a moment.

We started talking about my coming to New York. I left Mason out of the story completely. I was just a girl who came to be with a friend and get a job after college. That should sound familiar to Carter since he did the same thing, but he kept asking me questions.

Every look was full of heat and every word that he spoke made me aroused all over again. He told me about all his hard work and what he did to get there, respecting him for it while hating him for leaving me. I hated him for all the nights that I was taking care of Mason alone, barely able to keep my eyes open during the day.

But even through all of that, I wanted him. We ate and drank, while the sexual tension between us reached new heights. I slowly sipped the wine as we kept talking. Carter finally stood up after paying the bill and offered me his hand. I took it. We walked out to the car where he let me in first. He followed and closed the door. He was on me before I knew it, his hands cupping my face as he brushed his lips against mine. I gasped. “Did it feel good?”

“What?” I whispered as he kissed me again.

“Touching yourself in the bathroom,” he said before kissing my neck. “I knew that I got to you.” He backed up against the seat and rolled me to a straddling position over his body. “I knew that you felt it. I knew that you wanted me, too.”

He slipped one hand in my hair and the other around my back before claiming my lips with his. I felt like a teenager again as our tongues danced. The difficulties of life faded away. I had freedom and this boy wanted me. He wanted me again and he’d make everything better.

Carter directed his driver to an ice cream store. We walked inside the run-down building and ordered cones. We took them back to the car and he told the guy to keep driving around the city for a while so we could eat.

I ate so fast that it gave me an ice cream headache, just so I could kiss him again. I was in his lap before he rolled over and pressed me to the seat, his hand running over my body. He didn’t touch me anywhere that I needed him too, his tongue manipulating mine, making me forget all logic.

I was all his as we kissed. His mouth moved over the skin of my neck as he settled between my legs. This felt natural. This felt right.

He was just starting to pull my dress down when I heard my phone ringing in my purse. I wanted to ignore it so badly but I knew that very few people called me. The ones that did would call about Mason. I sighed as I dropped back. “I should answer that.”

Carter pulled away, looking flushed and turned on as he gave me a look of confusion. I crawled over to my purse on the other side of the car and reached inside to look at the screen. It was Lainie. I answered in a whisper as I crouched into the corner. “Hey, Viv. I hate to call you like this but Mason has a fever. He’s asking for you.”

“Okay. I’ll see you soon,” I told her. My mind was racing, trying to find an excuse to leave this car that was not my son. Carter’s son.

“Is everything okay?” His voice was laced with concern as I ran a hand through my hair and turned to look at him.

“My friend is sick and needs some help. She said it’s the flu or something and that she can’t move. I’m sorry.” I fixed my dress. In a way, I was relieved that this was over. I needed to get back to my real life and away from this fantasy of Carter that I’d had for years.

“We’ll drive you home. What’s your address?” Carter asked. I hesitated, worried that he might find out about Mason. But I needed to get to my son, so I told him.

His kiss was sweet as he dropped me off and I walked up to the apartment building, my lips still tingling from his lips and my body a mess of desire.

  Chapter 8 - Carter

I felt a little weird about her reasoning for going home, but who was I to judge? Things had been getting intense. Maybe she needed a break from me. I got out of the car and walked into the lobby of my building, glancing around the near empty room. I made my way to the elevator and pushed the button.

I thought about Vivian as I walked through my front door. She was more beautiful than before, with life in her eyes and curves on her body. She made me crazy inside and I thought about the way her breast had felt in my hand.

I went into the bedroom to change into shorts and watch some television. I could do anything tonight but I just wanted to stay here and relax, basking in the feeling that was Vivian.

I loved her scent and the way that she sucked on my tongue. It reminded me of before when she’d go down on my cock like it was her last meal, getting me to the point where I would bend her over and take her so hard that she screamed my name. She was a little more reserved now but it was our first night back together and she had a right to be scared.

Was she worried that I’d leave her again?

Was she worried about her job? I would never threaten her career if we didn’t work out. I wanted to see her make it here but I preferred her to do it in my office under my wing. I preferred her to end up in my bed.

My phone rang and I glanced over to see Shane’s name on the screen. I picked it up and greeted him. He laughed on the other end. “What the hell are you laughing about?”

“Did you tap that yet?” he asked.

I wondered what he was talking about for a moment before I remembered the list. I was supposed to be hooking up with my PA but that was before I knew she was Vivian. Before I knew I still cared about her. Did I go through with it for the sake of the bet and a few thousand dollars?

“I’m working on it. I took her out for a business dinner tonight,” I said. He made some comment about me being smooth. I never mentioned much of my past to him, so he knew nothing about Vivian. I’d just keep that to myself for a bit longer. “I’d make a bank run if I were you, Shane. She’s hot for me.”

We chatted for a little while before I hung up, still thinking about the pretty blonde that got herself off in the bathroom at a restaurant for me. I knew how bad she needed it for her to go do that, and I still felt the heat from her pussy on my lap.

I couldn’t wait until Monday when I was back with Vivian, making her want me all over again. She’d have the weekend to relax and get her friend better, but she wouldn’t forget me anytime soon.

I spoke to my PR rep who told me that another trip had come up even sooner than the London one. This one was to Los Angeles, to go talk to a large banking firm that was looking to spread some of their assets around. It was in another week and he hinted that arriving with a woman on my arm would be a good idea, better yet something serious. I told him that I had a plan and hung up as I leaned my head back.

  ***

On Monday morning, I made sure that I arrived early to
the office and made a cup of coffee for Vivian. She arrived right on time in a pair of black slacks and a pale lavender shirt, with a pair of the hottest heels I’d ever seen. “Good morning.”

“Good morning,” she greeted me with a shy smile as she walked past me to her office.

“I made you some coffee,” I called after her.

“Thank you. I was running a bit late today.” Vivian walked back into my office and took the cup that I offered her as she blushed.

“How’s your friend?” I asked as her face grew even pinker.

“She’s a lot better. Thanks for asking.” Vivian sipped the coffee with a small moan. “It was a long weekend.”

She did look tired but moved right on to work. I took every chance I could to touch her. She seemed to blush and shy away every time, though I could see the heat in her eyes. I knew that she still wanted me and my time was running out if I was going to stick with the bet.

At this point, I only wanted her.

I worked her more every day, seeing her weaken with my seduction. I took her to lunch a few times and spent a lot of time training her, making sure that she was always confident of my attraction toward her.

The kiss that we shared in her office as she bumped into me made me hard as a rock. I would have pressed her against the wall and taken her right there if one of my advisers hadn’t knocked on the door for an urgent meeting.

I knew that I had to seal the deal and talk to her about the trip to LA. So I asked her to dinner on Tuesday night but she turned me down. She said that she was busy. I extended my efforts on Wednesday as we worked on a letter to a potential new client together.

“I don’t know why you keep asking me to dinner. Look what happened last time. We need to keep this a business relationship, Carter.” She stared at the computer screen while she spoke but I saw the doubt filling her eyes.

“There’s nothing about this that is a business relationship, Vivian. I think you’re a great PA, though. Does that count?” She shot me a dark look. “Come have dinner with me.”

“I need to keep my work and private life separate from each other, Carter. We work together and nothing more.”

I ignored her. I blatantly touched her every chance I could and while she’d protest half the time, I knew that she liked it. I was going to wear her down because I knew that I got to her. It was that simple. Shane kept goading me about the bet, which I was on the way to losing.

It didn’t matter. Vivian mattered to me now and I wanted to get her back into my life. I didn’t need the money from the bet and I’d stopped paying attention to other women altogether. It was an odd feeling for me but one that I liked. I flirted with her and charmed her every chance I could find.

I could tell that she was private about her life. My parents had never said anything about her and I never asked. When I first came here, I was only interested in my new life in the city. It wasn’t until I realized how empty every woman I met was that I started thinking about Vivian. I chalked us up to being young and passionate, but she was more than that. A lot of women were into sex with me and I slept with too many to remember. Being the hockey star made it easy to score girls in high school and then moving to New York offered me more women than I could have ever imagined.

Now I was growing tired of all of that. I had the pressure of the bet and the fake fiancée arrangement weighing on my shoulders while she kept telling me no to dinner. There were a few kisses at work that she managed to wriggle away from but we never got alone time.

The week was ending when I sent her a text about the trip, highlighting the fun part of going to LA with me as my PA. I didn’t want to tell her about the fake fiancée part over the phone, so I was saving that for when we saw each other to discuss it.

There was no response and I looked at the clock. It was evening and she worked tomorrow, so she couldn’t be out. Vivian wasn’t the type to go out at all. I leaned back on my couch, hating the feeling that she prompted in me.

Vivian was under my skin and the cause of my constant jerking off. I had women who would allow me to do anything to them throwing themselves at me blatantly every day. But I wanted her. I wanted Vivian.

After an hour with no response to the text, I grabbed my keys and headed down to the garage. I was going to her house to ask her about the trip in person and possibly get her in bed so my cock could finally relax.

  Chapter 9 - Vivian

I watched as Mason played with Sally, a neighbor girl. Lainie had introduced me to Sally’s mother, Rachel. She was a single mom too, and we were on the way to becoming fast friends. The kids were watching a popular movie and acting out the scenes in the way that children do, with no inhibitions or fear. It was all about creativity and fun at their age of five, and it made me jealous.

I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket and pulled it out to look at the screen. It was Carter.

I sipped the coffee that Rachel had fixed for us and glanced over to see her get up to help the kids with something. I read his message. He wanted me to take a two-day trip to LA with him. Tomorrow.

My mouth dropped open. Was he insane? I had a son and a life to handle. I ignored the text and smiled as Rachel came back over, making some small talk. We talked about school and some of the upcoming events in the neighborhood but I couldn’t help but think about Carter’s text and wonder what he wanted from me. He played the visit to LA off as a business trip, but I knew what we were doing at the office. I knew that I was a few beats shy of giving in and jumping him, both with my body and my heart.

  The feelings were still there.

That was what scared me the most. I let the kids finish the movie and then walked back home with Mason to do the usual bedtime routine. That was when I saw someone walking up to the steps at the same time. It was Carter and he looked like he was in a bad mood. He climbed the short staircase and approached the door.

“I want some hot chocolate, Mommy,” Mason said sleepily, spoiled by the treats he enjoyed with Sally.

Carter turned his head and spotted us. My heart jumped to my throat. This was the moment that I never wanted to happen and now I couldn’t avoid it. “It’s too late, bub. You need to go to bed.”

Carter strode towards me, searching my face before he looked down at Mason. I froze as he looked him over, confusion in his eyes. “Vivian?”

“What are you doing here?” I asked. I walked towards the door to get us inside. Carter followed and I pushed down the anxiety rising in my chest as I walked to the stairs. I would just tell Mason to get inside the apartment and talk to Carter in the hallway. I didn’t need him seeing any more of his son than he already had.

“I need to talk to you about the trip,” he said as he cleared his throat. I unlocked my door and told Mason that I would be inside in a few minutes. I closed my front door and turned to face Carter. “I need to know your answer.”

“You only just asked me. I’d appreciate some more time to think about it. I can’t just leave, I have things to arrange, Carter.” I felt my voice rising as he glanced at the door again.

“He’s your son?” Carter asked. I nodded and crossed my arms over my chest. “Look, this is a critical trip, Vivian. I only found out about it recently myself and I’ll need your company. All expenses paid.”

I didn’t have much of a choice. I knew that this was my job on the line. A job that was providing for Mason and our life together.

“Fine. I’ll make arrangements. Are we leaving the office?” I asked in a low voice as he looked at me with a wary gaze.

“The limo to get you to the airport will pick you up at seven.” At seven? Well, hell. This was the last time that this would be happening.

  “There’s one more thing, Vivian.”

“What?” I asked as he smirked at me.

“I’ve been told to get a more family-friendly vibe to my business, you know, now I’m getting older and all.” I stared at him accusingly, wondering where he was going with this. “You’re going as more than my PA. You
’ll be attending as my fiancée who assists me in the firm. We’re getting married in three months so act like it.”

“Your…what?” I barked out. This was ten kinds of wrong and I knew that things were getting really risky now. But it was my job. I didn’t know if he was vindictive enough to fire me for not going along with his plans.

I would do this, for now.

“Fiancée. I have a ring for you to wear that I’ll give you tomorrow.” He looked at the door again.

“Fine. I’ll be ready.” I felt numb inside at the idea of faking it with him.

“I’ll see you at the airport.” Carter gave me a long look and then glanced around the hallway before pressing a soft kiss to my lips. I was too shocked to do anything as he walked away.

I heard a door open on the other end of the hallway. “Viv?” It was Lainie, staring at my heated face as I blinked slowly. “Are you alright?”

“Yes…sort of.” I quickly told her that I needed her to take care of Mason for the next couple of days and nights, and she agreed, all the while giving me questioning looks. We went into my apartment, explaining to Mason that he’d be staying with Lainie because I needed to go on a work trip. I had never left him for more than an evening, and I hated having to leave him now. But this was for the job that was putting food on the table. I’d tell Carter exactly where to stick it once we were alone. Lainie dragged me out to the living room as Mason got some things ready.

“Explain now,” she demanded, looking down the hallway to make sure that Mason was out of earshot.

“Oh, boy. So, that’s my boss. I was originally going to interview with another manager but he needed a PA and here I am,” I licked my lips. “He’s also my ex from Vermont and is trying to get things going again.” Her eyes widened as she looked down the hallway again. I lowered my voice and leaned forward. “He’s Mason’s dad and doesn’t know it.”
