Temple wrote a short story with a couple of other members of UrbanEroticNoire@Yahoogroups.com; titled “The Prison Chronicles,” it caught the eye of the Queen of Urban Erotica. Temple was then recruited by Noire to write the column “Ree-Ree’s Got the Scoop” for Noiremagazine.com.

Temple’s first novel, A Hustler’s Ambition, will be released this year. She is currently working on her second novel, as well as on her second anthology. Temple resides in Toledo, Ohio, with her two sons, Dominique and Da’Jaun. “You have a choice to say something or shut up.”

Erick S. Gray, founder of Triple G Publishing and author of the urban sexomedy Booty Call, has been writing seriously since 1997. Born and raised in the south side of Jamaica, Queens, this thirty-one-years-young gifted author introduced himself on a high note with his first endeavor, Booty Call, which was published in 2003. Gray continues bringing good stories as he shows in his collaboration with Mark Anthony and Anthony Whyte, STREETS OF NEW YORK VOLUME 1, Ghetto Heaven, and his most recent smash, It’s Like Candy, along with Flexin’ & Sexin’, Nasty Girls, Booty Call *69, Money Power Respect, and the much anticipated novel, Crave All, Lose All.

Gray continues to illustrate that not all young African-American males fall into the categories of drug dealer/thief/statistic. His future is filled with promises of more intriguing and diverse stories for the masses to digest. Don’t judge the book by its cover!

“Life of Sin” was the last literary work Joy completed before making her transition from secular works to Christian, children’s, and young adult fiction. Other past works by JOY include If I Ruled the World, Dollar Bill, and Mama I’m in Love with a Gangsta. You can visit Joy at www.JoylynnJossel.com or e-mail her at joylynnjossel@aol.com.

K is the sexxxy alter-ego of author Kweli Walker. Born and raised in South Central, Los Angeles, Kweli attended CSUN, majoring in Afro-American studies and biology. She also attended Loyola University, majoring in Fine Art—painting and drawing. K kicked off her Afro-erotic career with a collection of short stories called Walkin’ Pussy. She was featured in Susie Bright’s Best American Erotica, and will also be featured in the Mammoth Book of the Kama Sutra. Her latest novel, Fire Blue, is scheduled to be published in 2008.

In 2002 K’wan hit the scene with his debut novel, Gangsta, published by Triple Crown Publications. What started as an argument went on to become a part of urban-lit history and an Essence bestseller, as well as drawing rave reviews internationally.

After penning his second novel, Road Dawgz (2003), K’wan drew the attention of St. Martin’s Press. The literary powerhouse quickly signed K’wan to a three-book deal, the first of which was Street Dreams (2004). K’wan’s titles also include Hoodlum (2005), Eve (2006), Hood Rat (2006), Blow (2007), Flexin & Sexin (2007), Still Hood (2007), and Gutter (2008). With these, as well as several yet-to-be-published Dark Fantasy pieces, K’wan has proven himself to be among the elite of the literary game.

Since his emergence into the publishing world K’wan has been featured in Time magazine, Vibe, King, Felon, Pages, Big News, Time Out New York, and the New York Press. He was also interviewed on MTV and BET, and was a guest on WBLS and Power 105. K’wan is also a motivational speaker, freelance writer for Men’s Health magazine, and CEO of Black Dawn, Inc. The Harlem native is currently at work on his next novel. Please visit his website: www.Kwanfoye.com.
