"I have no answer for you."
I had said all that I could with an honest heart and she seemed to buy most of it. It was hard for her to imagine that I had lived like this, like some sort of lonely orphan to be pitied. Tonight could be used for some reading, I suppose I could go onto the web and look up information about the humans. Sometimes I wanted to thank the humans for offering to connect their interplanetary communication systems with ours. It did come in handy.
"Well i'm getting pretty tired. I think I'm going to go back." she said as he stretched out and got to her feet. "You can come and sleep in the bed if you like..." she muttered in a quiet voice soon after.
I didn't say anything but simply inclined my head with a gentle smile as she sauntered off the beachhead and walked up the clay steps. Her eyes lingered on me before she finally disappeared into the shadows without another word.
CHAPTER SIX
Rebecca
Alright, it was time to do some reading!
I had gotten back for the night after a conversation with sis and a little talk with the prince but I finally had the time to go through what I wanted to go through. I just hoped that the personal computers here could be used in English and not just Morelen, that would certainly make the process a whole lot easier.
But now, it was time to read up on all the data.
I waved my hand over this small blue lens that was attached to the wall and it began to glow and shimmer as various beams of light shootout in front of me. Soon a construct appeared in front of me in a shade of orange, it displayed a screen as well as some buttons that were used to select the language. I pressed the one that said 'English' and soon enough I was brought into the interface.
It was an operating system that I was not familiar with at all.
I combed through the files and tried to get the hang of things but it seemed like using my hands to manipulate the thing was an entirely new process for me. After all back on Durol, we still had actual hardware instead of this so it was still a bit more intuitive than this.
And after about an hour of effort, I finally am able to make some progress.
I was still struggling with the movements and my hands were getting a bit tired, I suppose that I would have to ask the prince about this later. He would surely know what to do in regards to this. I just pressed the search bar on what was a common internet browser amongst the planets and soon a keyboard popped up. I pressed the buttons to search up Kreux and various articles popped up.
"Newly minted prince takes control of paradise planet."
"Princes battle over control of Durol."
"Prince Kreux unveils plan to end poverty on his moons."
"Prince Kreux unveils plan to increase enrollment in the schools on his planet."
So there wasn't anything that was outwardly distasteful, in fact, everything pointed to him being rather lauded for his efforts.
I read up on the various articles that there were and discovered that he was presumably new to the scene, that much I already knew. Besides that, I got to find out about how he treated his planet and the surrounding moons. I didn't find anything about forced censorship or mass killings in the streets so that was nice. There wasn't anything about imprisoning political prisoners or something of that sort.
It was mostly benign, normal, well as normal as the outside world saw it. I still thought that the entire thing was rather bizarre in comparison to my life under Scoran.
I dug a bit deeper and tried to learn about Morelen culture and history. As soon as I found out about his father I wanted to vomit. His father seems just like Scoran but on an even grander scale. The man had kidnapped a variety of women from around the galaxy, both morelen and human, to serve as his concubines. It was said that he had over 100 children and they often had to fight one another for control of the planets. To become a prince one had to apparently participate in the military for a set number of years before returning and challenging the other offspring in death matches in order to get the title.
It was completely disgusting. Was he really borne from such a cruel environment? Was that really the truth?
I grimaced as I continued to sift through the piles and piles of information, in addition, I got to go through what Scoran had been doing and it wasn't pretty, to say the least. Would have thought the bastard would have learned some measure of common decency by now but apparently, he hadn't.
It was the same, the same as it ever was.
He had taken drastic measures to cull any sign of rebellion in his moons and had initiated a massive "cleansing". In other words, he had killed almost every male of fighting age and hoarded the young girls back to his home planet for his taking. It would have only been a matter of time before he did the same to Durol so I was happy that I actually managed to get out of that situation.
Things on Durol were faring a bit better, all things considered, Kreux's forces were pushing back against Scoran's counter-attack and he was finally being pushed off of the moon which was under Kreux's control by now by a slight margin. This was pretty impressive considering the fact that Scoran's military was impressively large although they might not be as loyal or as experienced in some cases as Kreux's were.
And then the stories came in.
"Escaped prisoner from Dephai tells all: Beatings, slavery, and worse"
"Starvation on Dephai's moons, how the cleansing and raiding has left the human colonies practically gutted."
That this man still held power made me sick.
I had to turn off the screen and decided that it was enough reading for today. If I did anymore then I might get an aneurysm from the sheer overload of information. I was getting pretty exhausted from reading all of this junk so I supposed that it would be time for me to sleep.
But where was Kreux? This was his room, wasn't it?
I get to my feet and began to step across the marble flooring as I walked around the room which was incredibly spacious, in fact, I would have said it was larger than my home back on Durol. The room was circular in shape and had various tables, light fixtures, holographic projectors, and paintings hanging on various parts of the wall. Above me was a dome that was crafted out of what I would presume was painted glass, I couldn't really tell from the low level of light around here at the moment.
The bed was impressively large, most likely to accommodate the much larger anatomy that morelens had. I paused as I felt the sheets curl below my fingers, so warm, so soft, it must have cost a fortune to pay for this entire room.
I walked to the exit of the room and gazed downstairs at the marble floor that sat beneath the curved staircases. There were various strange patterns that sat below these steps. I walked down and walked amongst the kitchen, the library, looking for any sign of him and yet I came up short every time.
"Where the hell is he?" I asked.
I walked outside and stepped amongst the sands as my eyes darted around the foliage and the waters to see if he was there. The blackened waters settle in front of me as I hugged myself while the cool island breeze swept over my body. I had no idea what sort of time system they used here but it was safe to say that it was already impossibly late.
"I should probably just go to bed...He'll reveal himself tomorrow." I mumbled as I walked back to the entrance. In the distance, I saw something, however.
It was a Morelen and it was laying down.
It was only as I walked closer that I found that it was the prince. He was curled into a ball and resting with his head brushing against the sands. As I approached I could hear the leaves rustle and saw a couple of soldiers spring out to gaze at me. They waved their hands and backed away as if to signal that they were going to let me approach and I did. I kneel beside him and stroked the black bristles of hair away from his forehead as I glanced at his shut eyes.
He really did look handsome under the moonlight. He probably didn't mean to fall asleep out here but it was possible that he just got distracted.
I tried to stifle a giggle at the thought of this man getting so preoccupied with the waters that he just ended up falling asleep in there. After all, there were various beds and couches in the manner that he could have slept on and yet he chose the beach. The sands were soft, sure, but the tide could have washed up on him and drown him at any moment at all.
It was dangerous to be out here. Then again I didn't even know what his full capabilities were.
"Hey...Hey, wake up." I said as I shook his shoulder. I was taking a bit of a risk with this but he had done so much. The least that he could do was sleep in his bed.
He didn't stir, heavy sleeper I guess.
"Guards. Could you take him to the bed...his bed?" I asked and they glanced at one another before nodding. They wore this silver-plated armor and had these rather angular helmets that made them look like birds. They approached and simply lugged the prince off while I stared at his departing form before I fell down onto the sands myself.
"Alright well...I guess I should head back..." I muttered, ultimately deciding that any more time spent out here would be a waste.
I walked back to the manor and looked at the old room where I had been set up and surely enough, he was there. I smiled inwardly before walking downstairs to survey the place to see if there are any other rooms that I could sleep in. I eventually find a room that was just a tad bit smaller, not that it made a difference considering the other room upstairs was as big as a goddamn house. I tucked myself into the sheets and laid down, there is no pillow which was a bit strange at first but I got used to it and merely laid back while trying to relax.
Slowly enough my vision faded into blackness and I began to dream, and in those dreams, I saw him.
"Rebecca"
I stirred as I opened my eyes and saw a trail of white light leading out of the room. I place my feet on the marble flooring and begin to follow the trail outside. Apparently, it had led to the beach, I was slightly curious as to what was happening and what this white light was but..this overwhelming feeling of warmth kept on stirring inside of my stomach. I had to follow this light, I had this great inclination to simply trek in its path.
I walked outside into the sands and saw that the path ended there. I walk onto the beach to investigate further and saw that the prince was standing there on the waters, he was entirely nude.
I looked back and saw that the entire manor was gone and only foliage was left. Despite its disappearance, I didn't feel any alarm...only this overwhelming feeling of warmth and calmness that was overtaking me. I walked forward towards Kreux and he looked back at me with a smile. His ebony horns glimmered in the light of the day and those golden eyes of his shone as they bore into my body lovingly. His glance was filled with so much affection, so much tenderness, I was finding it hard to keep myself collected around him.
"Sir?" I asked him with a smile before he took my hand and pulled me towards him. He plants a kiss on the back of my hand and I blushed in reaction.
Why was this warmth inside of me increasing?
"You don't know how long I've wanted to do this with you. He said as he runs a hand along my cheek.
"With me?" I asked with a flushed face. I suddenly became quite self-conscious as I looked down at my body that was barely hidden by a nightgown that seems to be getting looser and looser, it was almost going to fall off when I looked at it. He smiled at me and nodded his head as I looked down at my body, my curves were on display.
I had been severely self-conscious for quite a while, I realized that this frame might have helped me in some strange way when it came to dealing with Scoran and his insatiable lust but...I still didn't like it one bit. It was much too unattractive for the boys that I grew up with, it was distasteful, it was a-
"You are beautiful." the prince said with a smile as he reached out and rubbed my shoulders. I gasped at the touch of his fingertips against my skin, it felt like fire was brushing past me and I could barely stand it.
I feel him sliding his hands down to my gown and he tears it away before he locked his lips with mine. He leaned in, pressed my back against the sand, and begins to kiss me. I feel his lips swell against mine before he kisses downwards and runs his lips along my chest and my stomach. I gasped as I feel his tongue dash over my nipples once, my eyes rolled back and I squealed in pleasure while grabbing fistfuls of sand.
"Do you want me?" he asked.
I do!
I feel him pinching and pulling my nipples while he continued to kiss me on the lips. He alternated between granting me kisses and suckling my breasts before he began to kiss my stomach, he was inching closer and closer to my folds at this point and I wanted to feel his lips on my pink flesh. His tongue just barely began to tease my clit while the juices began to leak out before the vision fades and I found myself in the realm of the living once again.
“Shit.”
CHAPTER SEVEN
Kreux
The next feros are spent in relative peace as I showed her around the rest of the islands and took her to the beach. She became acquainted with a level of luxury that hadn't been familiar to her in a long while since Scoran had taken over her moon. I could feel her gradually starting to open up, to come out of that guarded shell of her's and actually trust in me for a change. It was strange at first but soon enough she got to actually smile and feel real emotion instead of her scowl or her blank expression.
"It's a nice world out here." she said as we sailed amongst the waters.
I got permission to take the ship out to the sea to one of my favorite islands it was relatively uninhabited but it was my special spot that I went to when I needed to escape work or my duties. There was a single mountain that was covered in green trees that stretched up into the clouds. The sand around the island was black in color and when they were disturbed they gave the water a grey color. I set the ship on the sands and stepped off, I hold out a hand to guide her off of the ship and she gratefully accepts it. She grabs my fingers and leapt off before settling there on the sands with a smile while she stands up and begins to follow.
"How are you liking your time here?" I asked her.
"It's going quite well. I have to thank you for doing this for me...and not trying to take me or anything like that just yet." she said.
Oh, it was coming, she just didn't know.
"Each time I talk to Emily it seems like something new is happening on the homeworld and things are looking up. Perhaps soon enough we won't have to worry about living under the tyrannical rule of a mad man like Scoran anymore." she admitted. "We can live under you now considering that humanity has already abandoned the moon."
"We'll work something out, I'm sure of it. This way." I stated as I lead her up this dirt path that led up the mountain, from the top we could view a vantage point that would give us a clear view of the city.
I stood there amidst the trees while leading her upwards, she has been gradually growing more open about herself and has been openly informing me of everything that has happened to her. Her past was an open book and often times we discussed the hardships that she had to endure. I made a note to myself to make Scoran suffer and not just perish as payment for what he has done.
And other times she brought up my past and who I was, apparently she was doing some reading.
"Why did they give you this world exactly?" she asked
"Oh this was a new world, apparently it was terraformed specifically for whomever won my tournament. I do remember that a lot of news agencies were focused on his particular tournament because the prize was something exceptionally lovely. Three moons, a beach world that has a compatible gravity with Earth's? It was a steal." I muttered.
Earth was a bit smaller than Morel so the gravity was a bit different, then again nanomachine implants at birth basically eliminated any health complications that could occur from living in planets with varying gravity. Morelens are suited for more mountainous climates but the beaches were nice too I suppose, it just got too damn hot
at times.
"I've never been out of my town, much less off of my moon." she states while slapping a branch away from her path before stepping closer towards me. I looked back and reached out to offer a hand to hold as we walked up. She took it with a flushed face and averted eyes, I could see the hint of a smile gracing her face.
"When we defeat Scoran we're going to make his world a paradise too. I'm sure of it." I muttered as I dragged her upwards, it was a long hike but the view was worth it. She didn't seem to mind it at all.
"Sometimes I think back to where I was a few weeks back and how I was living...it all just seems so...overwhelming." She admitted and I smiled.
"I agree. It is."
We eventually arrived at the peak which was this mound of grass that was flat enough to stand and sit down on. We relax there for a while and glanced at one another before we noticed that our hands were still in tangled. She doesn't try to move her hand away from me and I don't try to do it with her either. I keep my fingers on the back of her hands and looked out amongst the waters while we both bristled with a strange joy that couldn't be found in our hearts a couple of weeks ago.
But in the meantime I would enjoy her company.
"Here goes." I stated as I hopped into the waters.
This was one thing that she was a bit more brave at.
I hated to admit it but the water here was a bit scary at times. I knew how to swim but deep waters weren't really my thing. It took her suggesting that we take a swim in the middle of the ocean that gave me the push to finally try it. I could remember her hopping in with nothing else other than a bathing suit. I also questioned her sanity but she simply laughed at me and asked how such a battle-hardened prince could be so fearful.
I hopped in and left a large splash in the process. Because of a Morelen's dense anatomy, they sunk faster than humans and, as such, weren't as capable swimmers. As such I sunk rather quickly and had to make a concerted effort to stay afloat, this was not lost on her.
