Kate tried to suppress her laughter as Adam took her hands, stared at her, at her stomach and then back up to her face. It was supposed to be a serious moment, wasn’t it, as they prepared to say their “I Do’s.” But as if he could read her mind, they both broke into a laugh of pure joy and disbelief that they’d known each other for most of their lives and yet only just realized how much they completed one another.
