Primal Desire: a BBW Bear Shifter Paranormal Romance (Shadowlands Bear Shifters Book 5)

She was a bit too much attracted to him. I hate it so much, she thought with a smile.
The way looked at her, and touched her. His hot skin rubbing against hers. His kiss, fiery and passionate. She couldn't do anything about it. He was too magnetic, too charismatic.
The thought of his cock set against her thighs, then in her hand, big and incredibly hard.
"Shit," she said out loud.
She was anxious. She needed to do something. Take her mind away from Enzo.
The late afternoon sunlight bathed her living room, giving it a calm, nostalgic feel.
She turned to the small corner on the kitchen's wall where he set her against and felt a soft, electric pulse rush through her.
Her skin filled with goose bumps, thinking about him again, his strong arms and chest trapping her, making her do things she shouldn't have.
She undid her pants, her body needed this release.
She pictured him kissing her, trapping her again, making her unable to move away... and herself complying, getting lost in the moment, lust guiding her to places she shouldn't like but did anyway.
Him taking control and her obeying, not telling him to move or saying "I don't want this."
His eyes hungry for her, hungry to be inside. And she wanted him to. She wanted to taste him. To put his cock in her mouth slowly, to lick his shaft and make him moan and call her name.
She was soaking wet now, biting her lips, one hand down there, the other softy caressing her breast.
"I want you," she imagined him saying, then turning her around against the wall and ripping her clothes off, biting the back of her neck, his hand pleasuring her clit, her juices dripping down her legs.
***
Sweat dripped down Enzo's forehead as he drove up the White Paw's mountain. He left the school less than half an hour ago, helping everyone clean up and put everything back in order.
God damn, she looked incredible today. He couldn't stop thinking of her. Even worse, his bear had let her "win" so to speak. That was unthinkable of it. The thing let her be the hero of the day.
Just thinking about her smile made him happy.
Then he thought about the night before.
His erection pressed against his pants so hard it hurt. He was almost home, but the memory of her soft skin, the minty taste of her lips...
He touched his cock, trying to move it to the side. Shit. His bear growled, thinking about her delicious curves, her breasts, her innocent eyes.
He wanted her bad. He promised he'd be a gentleman, but this is freakin' torture. This was not a simple liking. This was much more.
Her voice reached him from afar. She spoke his name, "Enzo," loud enough to make him growl and for a second lose control of his truck.
Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!
He swerved and pressed on the brakes, stopping in the middle of the dirt road that led to his cabin.
He jumped off of the truck, wanting to rip her clothes away and just take her, wanting to hear her voice yell his name as he entered her body.
He wanted to come inside her, fill her with his seed.
Wildness filled each one of his senses, his animal snarled, roared violently, clawing inside of him.
The bear tried to come out but he resisted. He thought of her, happy and smiling at first, then flashes of Audrey laying down, wanting him, her scent filling him... it was enough to push him over the edge.
He tried to undo his pants, but the frenzy made him rip them away, his erection harder than ever.
"Audrey," he said out loud, the forest his only witness, jerking off, unable to stop, needing her, the bear inside letting out a roar of passionate hunger.
He was almost there now, the orgasm built inside like a crescendo, like a tsunami, and in his mind there was only her.
"Audrey," he said in a half snarl as he spilled everything he had on the ground.
***
She yelled loudly as her orgasm flooded her, paralyzing her for a second.
She could hardly breathe, it had been the most intense climax she'd had in years. She laid there, on her couch, looking up to the ceiling, wondering why this felt so different.
Masturbation was good, but it wasn't the real thing. For a second she had the silly idea that touching herself thinking about Enzo had been better than all the other times she had sex with someone.
Don't be stupid, it's just... been a while. You needed it you dork.
Stress. It must have been that. I've been under a lot of stress lately and today I could finally let go.
She breathed out loud and sat on the couch, a soft current made her drapes dance in the last remaining minutes of daylight.
She saw the mess she made. The sofa had a big stain. She felt hotter than ever and her juices proved her right. It was kind of embarrassing. Just kind of.
She took her pants off and used them to dry the big wet stain out of her sofa. She did what she could. Anything to take him off her mind. There was nothing on the TV but at least the background noise calmed her.
Her mind wandered. Ever since she got to the school, things that were supposed to be hard weren't, mostly because she was a badass, obviously, but also because he was there to help.
She sighed, trying to convince herself that actually giving in to her impulses wasn't really all that bad.
If you stopped thinking about him, maybe you could enjoy the rest of the evening.
Yes, she would do that. She would take a shower and go get a coffee or something. She couldn't stay home, she needed to think about something else.
Her phone rang. She felt butterflies in her stomach.
Enzo was calling her.
***
It took Audrey three rings but she finally answered.
"Hello?"
"Hey there," Enzo replied. He called her on an impulse, didn't think about what to say. But it didn't matter, he needed to see her, "how are you?"
The voice on the other side talked a bit nervously, it would have been funny if this awkwardness wasn't happening to them.
"Fine, thanks. A bit tired."
"Oh, well yeah, figures, it's been a rough week."
"But it's finally over..." she said, pausing for half a second, "so, to what do I owe your call, Mr. Gallagher?"
Good question.
"Well," he said, "two things: I wanted to apologize for yesterday, I might have taken things a bit too far."
"No, no, no," she replied, "it's all good, we just... I don't know, don't worry about it."
"Are you sure? You seemed awfully distant today."
"I'm sorry! It was just the... things, well... I'm kinda shy I guess."
"I'd believe that if I hadn't seen you dropping me in the dunk tank, I mean, you didn't look shy at all back there."
She laughed, "you deserved it."
"Oh, really?"
"Someone had to quiet you down, you trash talker, you."
"Oh, I get it now, you're an evil mastermind."
"Well... of course I am, didn't you know?"
"I should have known. All the evidence was there and I was just blind to it."
"It's a dog eat dog world, homie."
He laughed hard, "did you just say 'homie'?"
"As a joke."
"Are you sure of that?"
"Yes!"
"Because it came out very naturally."
All the awkwardness was gone, they spoke to each other just like always, with an additional jab or two. It was phenomenal.
"You're the one who said I was a Blood."
"I'm starting to believe it. You a bad girl, yo'"
"Oh, if you only knew."
Whoops. He felt his gut clench. She fell quiet for a second, then cleared her throat.
"So, what's the second reason?"
"The what?"
"You said you called me for two things?"
"Oh, yeah, you owe me one, now."
"What? Why?"
"For letting you convince me to get into the dunk tank, obv
iously"
"Oh, that. Enzo, we needed someone to do it! Thank you for being so generous."
"I'm not letting you off that easy, girl."
"Oh my gosh, I'm so scared! What are you gonna do?"
"I don't know, still thinking about it."
"Well then, call me when—"
"Let's go out."
It took her a few moments to answer.
"What?"
"It's Saturday, kind of early, we should go out, have some fun."
She slowed down. He could tell she was thinking about it.
"Do you think that's appropriate?"
"Going out on a Saturday evening? Sure, why not? Unless..."
"Unless what?"
"I don't know what's on your mind, I just feel like going out, have some fun."
"Stop it."
"Stop what?"
"You know... flirting with me."
"Wait, I'm flirting with you?"
She faked a frustrated yell.
"You know you are."
"You are so flirting with me, too."
"I know. Sorry."
He smiled, "it's all good. So? What time should I pick you up?"
"Do you think we can go out as friends?"
He'd do his best, "yeah, I think we can try that."
"Come get me in half an hour."
CHAPTER 14
Enzo parked his truck in front of her building and called. She told him not to go up, just let her know when he arrived.
She answered the phone, "Hey, are you here?"
She waved at him from her window, "I see you, I'll be right down."
Before long, she was in the truck's cabin looking as amazing as she always did, talking about how the day went.
"I'm impressed," she said, "the community, the students... everyone is way cooler than I thought."
"It's been constant work, there were a lot of problems just a few of years ago."
"Really? What kind of problems?"
He shrugged, "Poverty coupled with hopelessness. Kids needed more opportunities so we started working on bringing the attention of big universities, and you know, doing stuff stuff like camping trips, or even going to Portland and Seattle, let them see there's so much more than what they see at home."
She nodded, looking out at the road. He tried to keep everything cool, his bear was on fire every time he even thought about her."
They settled on going to a casual place, nothing too fancy. She wore a knee length flower pattern dress, light and perfect for the ocassion.
This was their night as friends. His bear was angry, snarling, clawing inside. Stay down.
"We're here," he said, going out to open her door.
"What is this place?"
The dark blue building had no windows, only a big, dark wood door. It had a nice, mysterious vibe to it, and the music filtered out to the street.
A lonely neon sign glowed on the wall, "The Brass House".
"Do you like jazz?"
"Sure," she said, "I don't listen to it that much, but I like it."
"You're gonna love it here," he said with a wink, "and the jalapeño chicken, damn, I can't wait for you to try it."
***
"Evening, sir," the bouncer told Enzo and he nodded at him.
"Hey, Mack. Busy night?"
"Just getting there. Enjoy your evening."
Enzo looked as great as always, dark blue jeans, brown rugged boots and a white tee under a plaid shirt, sleeves rolled up, of course. He looked more lumberjack fashionista than psychology expert.
Drums reached her ears, accompanied by the mellow sound of a Saxophone.
"Oh," she said, "I like it already."
They went down a small corridor that opened to their right, where purple and red lights softly lit the walls. The place was only half full, most of the customers stared at the small stage up front where a couple of black musicians played wonderfully.
It was like a scene from an old movie, a vintage bar taken out of the past and lit in beautiful hues.
They sat down and enjoyed a song before their drinks arrived, "this place is perfect," Audrey said, taking a sip of her blueberry gin blaster.
"I never knew a town this size had such great music."
"Hey, don't be mean. This might not be L.A. but we're not complete savages."
She snorted, almost spewing her drink.
"I know, you dork! But places like this are hard to find, even down there. Thank you for bringing me here."
"I'm glad you like it," Enzo replied.
"You come here often?"
He sipped his beer and shrugged, "sometimes, it belongs to a friend of mine, Ike. An old, retired marine."
"Really? That's great."
"He owns another bar near home, but that's more like a big, noisy club, not really my thing."
"Been there, done that."
"Exactly," he said, fixing his eyes on her, then looking away.
Another song began, there was no drum line this time, only the melodic sexiness of the Sax.
"So," Enzo said, breaking the brief silence, "do you have any ideas on what to do with the earnings?"
She laid back on the comfy seat, that was a good question. She talked to Larry since day one and both of them made a plan on how to fix the school. This cash would speed up the cause greatly.
"I'm thinking the graffiti, and repairing the broken windows and bathroom stalls first," she said.
He nodded. He was so easy to talk to, no judgments or the classic "I got a better idea" kind of attitude she encountered many times before when dealing with other men.
"After that I guess it's the library, I want to bring more books in."
"Always a good idea," he said.
"In the long run, we need to fix the football field and probably hire at least two other janitors.
"Well, maybe we can ask the district for more money, when they see the work you've been doing, they'll probably comply."
She stopped and looked at him, "you mean the work we've been doing. We. I guess you're right about the district admins, we'll have to keep bothering them for more funds."
"I'm sure you'll get them. Everything changed for the better since you arrived."
She tried to abide by her own rules but listening to him say that made her blush... made her want to kiss him again.
"Hey," she replied with a smile, "we said no flirting."
You knew this was going to happen you ass, don't pretend you didn't.
"I'm not flirting, you've done and cared more in the past few weeks than any other admin or principal before you. Thanks for that."
He raised his beer and she clanged it with her colorful drink.
She was nervous. Very nervous. She didn't want him to come pick her up at her door because she was afraid he'd be too much to resist and would just surrender to him.
Enzo looked at her for a moment, then looked away.
"Did you get anything today?" he asked.
"What, from the students? Everything! I got my computer checked, bought some muffins and brownies, the only thing I did not do was getting my car washed by the girls, I—"
She stopped. Every muscle in her body tensed, slowly at first, then hard. Stressed beyond belief.
"What's wrong?" Enzo asked.
She looked up at him, her heart beating hard in her chest. Fuck. Please no. Oh, fuck you're an idiot, Audrey!
Enzo put his hand over hers, his warm touch calmed her just enough to let her think straight again.
"Audrey?" he said, his tinged with worry.
She took a deep breath, shame washing over her, then looked at him quietly
"I forgot to turn off the main water line."
CHAPTER 15
The pick-up truck roared beneath their feet as they got closer and closer to the school.
"How could I be so stupid?" Audrey said, holding back tears.
"It was a long day. Don't worry, I'm sure it's okay."
He parked at the school and she
bolted out of the truck, Enzo hadn't even turned the vehicle off.
Audrey jumped the three steps to the school's main door and took a few seconds to find the key.
The door opened, darkness filled the hallways, not a single soul was there. That would've been enough for her to wait for Enzo, she wasn't keen on being alone in the dark in there. But tonight, it didn't matter. She had to find out.
She took out her phone, tapped on it and turned on the camera's flash. She ran ahead, Enzo just behind her.
She made three turns before reaching the machine closet, as Larry called it.
Audrey flipped on the light switch to see big pipes dominating the whole room. There was a gear crank and other levers, she couldn't recognize which one she was supposed to turn off.
"That one," Enzo said, pointing at a big lever.
She practically jumped at it, it was the red one on the corner of the room, she should have recognized it, but she was so anxious that she didn't even see it.
She tried to turn it but couldn't, put all her weight and pulled but it was impossible, Enzo stepped ahead and she let go.
"It's stuck," she said, "we need to find something to—"
He pulled it down with one hand.
She looked at him. It took him zero effort. She had to consciously close her mouth, she was so surprised.
She was no girly-girl with no strength, and she knew she weighted a bit more than a feather.
She knew it was stuck, but to him, it was just like turning off a water tap.
"Thank you," she said, still surprised.
Enzo nodded, looking around.
"There's some water here," he said kneeling down to a very small puddle on the other corner of the room.
"Do you think that's it?"
He got up and sniffed. He actually put his nose higher in the air and took a whiff. It wasn't loud or anything, just... strange.
"No," he replied, moving out unto the dark corridor.
She followed him, trying to light his way, but apparently he didn't need it.
He stopped and raised his arm so she wouldn't step on another small puddle next to the bathroom stalls.
"Oh, no," she said with a whimper and entered the room.
He stood outside for a brief moment and went in after her.
Everything seemed normal. There was a bunch of tiles on a corner where water dripped.
