Double Trouble

  Ryan got rid of the food that'd been sitting out of the fridge. By the time he'd cleaned up and set about making them a light snack, it'd been nearly an hour. Still no sign of Becky; he decided he better go and check if she'd fallen asleep.

  He opened their bedroom door and stood there dumbfounded.

  “Becky?” he said. “What's all this?”

  He couldn't believe his eyes. Becky was standing in the corner naked and sobbing. If he'd sent Becky to the corner, as he usually did before he spanked her, she would stand there shifting nervously from foot to foot while she played with her hair. Probably concocting a way to try and talk herself out of a punishment. Not this time. This time she was perfectly still, except for her shoulders that were shaking because she was crying. His eyes were drawn to the bed where she'd laid out an arsenal of implements. He didn't understand, this was not his wife's usual behaviour at all.

  He crossed the room in a few seconds and scooped her up into his arms.

  “Honey what's wrong?” he said. “Please, you have to talk to me. Tell me what all this is about.”

  “You have to spank me,” she said.

  He held her close on his lap and tried to warm her with his own body, she was shivering, but he couldn't tell whether it was from cold or because she was so upset. “Why do I need to spank you, Becky? What do you think you've done?” He gathered up a throw rug from the end of the bed and wrapped it around her.

  “It. Was. All. My. Fault,” she sobbed. “She fell because of me.”

  “How?” Ryan asked, still confused. Had she pushed her?

  “I was horrible.”

  “How, honey?” It never occurred to him that she'd actually have had something to do with Tracy falling.

  “Tracy fell. Because of me.”

  “You said that, Beck, but I don't understand.”

  Becky took a minute to get herself a little under control and then she started to explain. “From the moment you left I wasn't nice to her,” she said. “She wanted to have breakfast after we took you and Daddy to the airport.”

  “You didn't?”

  “No,” she said with a sob. “She kept saying she needed to eat. I didn't know about the baby but I should have stopped at a drive thru when she asked. I was just being mean and I don't even know why.”

  “Ok, that wasn't nice, Beck. You know you've been hanging on to stuff that should have been long ago forgotten. You know in your heart why you were sent away. Your behaviour was what got you expelled. Tracy was nicer than you give her credit for. She could have had you arrested. That being said, there must be more to the story.”

  “There is,” she said with a hitched breath. “I dropped her off and she wanted me to stay, but I just left her there all by herself and went to Kendall's. Even Kendall said I was being a little mean.”

  “What else?” Ryan asked gently. “What happened when you got back home?”

  “I stayed at Kendall's all day, then, when I came home, she'd made dinnnnner,” she wailed, her tears once again coming hard and fast.

  “I saw the dinner,” he said, rubbing her back to sooth her but not wanting to stop the flow of words. “It didn't look like anyone had touched it.”

  Becky nodded and tried to get control of herself again. It was a good few minutes before she could talk again normally. “I was mad, really mad because she touched our stuff again. I hated that she made herself so at home.”

  “What did you do, Becky?” he asked. He didn't like where this story was going at all.

  “I yelled at her and ran up the stairs and she came after me and tried to make me talk.”

  “And did you? Talk, I mean?”

  “No,” Becky said with a sob. “I tried to go to our room but the phone rang. When she went to answer it I lost my temper.”

  “Uh huh,” he said. “As you do.”

  “It's not funny.”

  “I know it's not funny. Go on,” Ryan encouraged. He was getting anxious and lightening the situation from nervousness, not because he thought this was in any way funny.

  “Like I said before, I was mad and I tried to beat her to the phone. I bumped her, I swear I didn't mean for her to fall, it was just the worst, watching her fall.” She brushed the tears and her hair away from her face with a corner of the blanket.

  Ryan hugged her close to him. He hated to see her so upset, and he really didn't want to punish her after all she'd been through, but he knew that that was what she needed and that was what all this was about. The incident on the stairs had clearly been an accident, but her actions that led up to that were immature at the very least and she knew it. She deserved a spanking and he was proud of her for recognizing that and asking for one. “What exactly do you want me to punish you for?”

  “Ryan!” she said surprised. “Tracy would never have fallen if it wasn't for me. It was all my fault.”

  “You handled a lot of things badly today,” he said, weighing his words carefully. “But you didn't push Tracy.”

  “I NEED this,” Becky pleaded, her eyes filled with overflowing tears. “I need you to make me feel normal again, happy. I was so out of control that I scared myself and I don't want to ever feel like that again. I need to feel better. I need to feel like I'm not a terrible person.”

  Ryan sighed. “Ok,” he said, “but I'm only using my hand. You already had the belt last night, honey. Another thing? There's no way that you have ever been a terrible person.”

  * * *

  “Ok,” Becky said a little too quickly. Who was she kidding, she needed a spanking but her bottom was still a little sore.

  “Don't worry, I can spank plenty hard with my hand.”

  Becky's eyes widened but she stood at his side and let the blanket pool at her feet.

  Ryan took her hand and gently manoeuvred her into position over his knee. “Keep still now.”

  Becky took a deep breath and waited for the spanking to start. It didn't immediately. Instead, she felt Ryan's warm hand rubbing her quivering cheeks.

  * * *

  Ryan took a moment to admire his wife's beautiful bottom before he started spanking. His hand smoothed over the silky pale skin, marred only by a few faint lines that were the remnants from the belt the day before. He took a deep breath and raised his arm and brought his hand down with a sharp smack on her left cheek. He frowned when Becky didn't even flinch. He followed that smack with a matching one on the other cheek. Nothing. He brought his hand back a third time and this time he sharply spanked the middle of both cheeks. He began spanking in earnest, hard and fast, hoping to get the maximum effect in the minimum time. Her bottom coloured quite quickly as his hand covered every inch of her bottom several times over. Apart from a wince or the odd gasp of breath there was still little reaction. When the pink started to turn quite red, he moved lower, landing several hard slaps on each thigh. She shifted a little and he let out a breath, relieved that he was getting to her finally.

  * * *

  “Ahh,” she let slip. She'd tried so hard to take the spanking she knew she deserved without complaint but it was getting harder. She clung to her husband's jeans desperately as his hand clipped her hard over and over right on the crease where her bottom met her thighs. First one side and then the other. It was all she could take and she burst into loud racking sobs.

  * * *

  He rubbed her back soothingly while she cried. Deep loud sobs that nearly broke his heart but he was relieved that she was finally letting the guilt go. He stood her up and pulled her between his legs and she clung to his neck while she danced up and down, trying to stomp out the sting.

  “Shh,” he said soothingly. “It's all over now. Better?”

  “Ye...s,” she said quietly. “Much.”

  * * *

  She looked up at him with tear filled eyes. “I'm sorry,” she said in a whisper.

  He wiped her cheeks with his thumbs and kissed her tenderly and she burst into a fresh bout of tears.

  Becky didn't kno
w why she was still crying, she did feel a lot better but she needed to be close to him, to feel his skin against hers. She undid his shirt and pressed herself up against his bare skin.

  * * *

  Ryan steered her towards the bed and helped her to lay on her belly. He was feeling an overwhelming sense of relief and his eyes never left her as he quickly stripped off his clothes and climbed in beside her.

  She curled into him tightly.

  He touched his lips lightly to hers; trailed feather light kisses along her jawline and down her neck. His gentle touch made her shiver with pleasure and her nipples peaked with interest as his tongue found each one, kissing, licking and suckling until she was writhing against him.

  * * *

  Her fire was lit but it was more than just that. She couldn't get close enough. His hand trailed down her belly and between her legs and her tummy tightened in response. “Oh Ryan,” she panted as he took her mouth once more while his fingers gently fondled her swollen clit, slipping his finger deeper to explore her hidden depths. She turned onto her back, ignoring the stinging of her recently spanked bottom. She needed to feel him inside her, touching every part of her.

  * * *

  Ryan groaned and slid into her, delighting in her welcoming body as it wrapped around his. There was barely a breath of air between them as they rocked together. Her body was so soft and warm beneath him and as he sunk into her deeply he could feel her melting, getting closer with every thrust. Her hands gripped his back and she fought to get closer, grinding herself against him. When she hummed into his mouth as her orgasm built he couldn't wait any longer. His last few thrusts were hard and deep and when he exploded inside her she came with him, kissing him frantically and hanging on for grim death until she finally floated back to Earth.

  “Why didn't you just talk to me, Becky?” Tracy asked.

  Becky's face coloured as she poured her stepmother a cup of herbal tea. Her dad had brought Tracy home that morning and she'd been fussing over her ever since. “I don't know, stubbornness, I guess,” she said. “I really did think that all my problems were your fault.”

  “I never disliked you, you know,” Tracy said. “Of course, I'd be lying if I didn't admit that you irritated the daylights out of me.”

  Becky smiled. “I may have been a little bit of a brat.”

  “Becky you were difficult, but I knew that wasn't totally your fault. Or your dad's,” she said. “You both needed some kind of help and I tried, but I had a job to do, I was the head of that school and you were determined to challenge me at every turn.”

  Becky sighed. “I can't change what happened back then.”

  “No, you can't,” Tracy said. “Anymore than your dad and I can change the things that we did that hurt you. We should have come see you when we first started to fall in love. We made mistakes too.”

  “How about we all start again,” Geoff said from the doorway.

  “I'd like that, Daddy,” Becky said. “Besides, if you hadn't left me here with Ryan, we might not be together now.”

  “You are happy, aren't you?” Tracy asked.

  “Of course,” Becky said with a beaming smile. It surprised her just how much. “Even more now. I can't wait to be a big sister, well to a baby. I am already kind of a big sister to Ryan's sisters.”

  “Are you close to them, Becky?” her dad asked.

  “Yeah. We have a great time together,” Becky said with a smile. “They stayed with us last spring break while their mom went to visit her sister.”

  “That must have been fun for them,” Tracy said.

  “We had a ball,” she said, her face warming at the memory. It hadn't ended so well when the fun police had gotten involved. She loved her husband dearly but he hadn't totally understood his sisters' need to experiment when they were away from their loving but strict mom's clutches. He definitely hadn't understood his wife helping them to go against his wishes.

  “I bet they love staying here with you,” Geoff said.

  “Why wouldn't they?” Ryan said, poking his wife playfully as he entered the room and the conversation. “She's the most permissive big sister ever.”

  “Oh?” Tracy said with a grin. “I can't believe that. Not our Becky.”

  Becky's face blushed even redder. “Long story,” she said. “Short version is that I thought it would be ok for the girls to have a little party.”

  “And I didn't,” Ryan said. “Not with boys and beer.”

  “I didn't EVER say they could have beer, someone else brought it. Anyway, neither of them had any,” Becky said. Her dad's and Tracy's stunned faces added even more to her embarrassment and she had to stop this story now. There's no way she wanted to explain how the story ended, not to her dad and Tracy. Not ever.

  “We have to go,” she said. “If you drop me off at Kendall's you can have my car to go to Mike's.”

  “Ok,” he said with a grin. “Of course, if I had my OWN truck...”

  Becky shot him a look. “We'll see you two at the wedding tomorrow,” Becky said.

  “Where's your truck?” Geoff asked.

  “Getting repaired, dad,” Becky said. “We really have to go.”

  “At least you didn't lie about it,,” Ryan said as they climbed into her car.

  “See what an angel I am?” Becky said.

  “Hmm, is that your halo I see hanging around your neck?”

  “Mean,” she said poking out her tongue.

  “Only joking,” he said. “You'll always be my angel.”

  Chapter Six

  When Kendall's mom opened the door and woke them the next morning Becky groaned. “It's so early,” she said. She felt like she was a kid once again and her friend's mom had woken her for school. She’d whined in protest then but she'd kind of liked it. It was all part of the mother thing she'd missed out on, but not when she was here. When she was here, Loni, Kendall's mom had fussed at her the same as she had with Kendall. It was like a second home and the mother she'd never had.

  “Come on now,” Loni said. “It is not. There's breakfast downstairs and the makeup lady and the photographer will be here soon.”

  “Oh God, we must look completely awful,” Caroline said with a yawn.

  “I don't think so, but breakfast first and then you can worry about that later,” Loni said.

  Becky turned over and examined her friend's face. The other girls had gone downstairs and it was now just the two of them. Kendall was awake and staring at the ceiling.

  “Big day,” Becky said.

  “Uh huh. The biggest.”

  “Yep. You ready?” Becky asked with a giant smile.

  “Of course,” Kendall said.

  “Do I hear a but?”

  “No,” Kendall said. “I'm happy.”

  “Oh, there's a but in your voice alright. Spill, hon. There's not much time to get a but ironed out this close to the wedding.

  “I don't know what it is,” she said with a tiny smile. “Do you think he'll spank me?”

  Becky giggled. “He already did.”

  “Yeah, I know. That was different. We really fucked up.”

  “Yes we did, Becky said with a sigh.

  “So I'm thinking so long as I don't do anything like that again I'm good.”

  “Possible. Probably,” Becky said. “That's really for the two of you to work out.”

  “I know.”

  “I’m still hearing a but.”

  “It isn't a ‘I'm not sure I want to get married’ kind of a but. It's more like a curious but.”

  “So I don't need to go to the church and tell all the guests to go home?”

  “NO!” Kendall said with a horror filled voice. “Of course not.”

  “Whew,” Becky said with a smile. “Cause I would you know, if you wanted me to.”

  “I know you would. Best friends forever?”

  “And always.”

  “You girls need to get your butts down here for breakfast!” Loni called from t
he bottom of the stairs.

  Becky giggled and Kendall rolled her eyes.

  “You taking your but downstairs or are you leaving it here?” Becky asked.

  “Leaving it,” Kendall said.

  “Good girl. It's all about the trust.”

  “Kendall! Becky!”

  “Coming Mom!” they chorused before heading to the door.

  * * *

  “So you ready?” Ryan asked as his friend tried to tie his tie in the mirror for the fifth time. “Here, let me.”

  “For the marriage? Oh yeah,” Mike said with a grin. “For the wedding? The ceremony, the preacher, the speeches. Not so much.”

  “So you’re feeling like a normal groom then.”

  “Yeah,” Mike chuckled. “Well who could blame me for being nervous after your wedding?”

  “Yes, well, nothing goes according to plan when Becky's involved.”

  “They broke the mould,” Mike agreed.

  “Maybe they broke her mould, but they did try to replicate it when they made Kendall.”

  “They are a pair,” Mike said.

  “Yes they are,” Ryan said with a grin.

  * * *

  “I'm just going outside to call Becky,” Ryan said.

  “Tell her to tell Kendall that I love her,” Mike said with a grin.

  “I will.”

  Ryan took a seat on the front step and his mind drifted back to the day that he and Becky were married.

  The music started and his heart lurched as he saw her for the first time in her bridal finery. Her face covered by the fine lace of her long veil. The gown hugged her figure giving him a reminder of what would finally be his for the taking. He'd seen her naked and he knew her body well but he hadn't actually made love to her. This though was their wedding night. The night they would become one, in every way. This was the way it was meant to be. He'd always loved Becky but now it was a deeper more grown up love. She was going to be his wife at last.
