“Then we’ll all be forever in your debt,” I said with a nod.
“But just so you know, spells aren’t going to do you any good without magic. Without power. Different spells require different levels of magic, and you already said that neither has explored yours properly.”
“We’re just going to have to learn how to do that because we already have power. Storm power, baby! Woohoo!” Grover shouted. Apparently, now I didn’t hate that name as much as I did in the beginning.
He was right. Our raw magic was better than any other kind. Shaping it into spells was going to make it even stronger. So much had changed in just one day that I hardly recognized myself and the people around me. The dragon, who no longer seemed to hurt me, was a strange comfort in this great change. We’d already come a long way, but the finish line was not in sight yet. Grover was right about having a lot to do before the next nightfall, too.
For now, we would take some time to rest.
Tomorrow, a whole new era begins.
