“You said you loved me.” His voice cracked on the word. “Did you mean it?”
“That's not the game we're playing.”
“Fuck the game. I want to know. Did you mean it?”
“Logan.” She cupped his cheek, her movements slow and languorous. “I have loved you since the day we first met. I will love you until forever is over.”
“Well that's the thing about forever,” he whispered hoarsely, his hand holding hers to his cheek. “It never ends.”
“Well then,” she replied, her eyelids fluttering closed. “I will love you forever, forever.”
“I love you,” he told her, shaking her, needing her to hear it back. “I love you, Sophie Ellis. Forever.”
“I know,” she admitted. “I've always known. I've just been so scared that I didn't want to know.”
“Are you still scared?” He held his breath, waiting for her answer. She had the power to crush him all over again.
“Yes,” she sighed. “It's not something that's going to go away over night. But you've always been there for me when I got lost in the darkness. When you tell me everything is going to be okay, I believe you.”
“Everything is going to be okay.”
“I believe you.”
“I love you,” he said again, simply because he could.
“I love you,” she replied, sleep finally claiming her.

About The Author
Mandy Lou Dowson is the author of two series of novels, Moon Bound series, which is paranormal romance, and a new contemporary/taboo romance series of standalone novels simply called, Taboo.
Mandy Lou Dowson was born and raised in a small town in Ireland, in 1983. Family is a huge deal to Mandy. She has three wonderful children, and two dogs – a Siberian Husky who only does what she's told if there's something in it for her, and a little white Pomeranian who loves nothing better than to roll in mud, or worse.
When not writing, or plotting her next book, she likes to relax with a few glasses of wine and some karaoke. She has a keen interest in special effects make-up and is part of a dramatic society which puts on one show and one concert each year.
Mandy started reading at quite a young age and her appetite for the written word has only increased with time. It would not be at all surprising to find her reading anything and everything from shampoo bottles to Edgar Allan Poe.
You can usually find her procrastinating on Facebook, Twitter or Goodreads. Why not stop by and let her know what you thought of this book? She loves to read reviews and opinions, and enjoys chatting to her fans.
A word from the author:
