Garrick and Kohana came to stand beside her as the crown cheered.
In the audience, Cora saw her parents, Kohana’s, and Garrick’s family all sitting together and smiling up at them. Garrick’s parents and the rest of his family had fit right in with the others. Although, at first, his parents were uneasy about the threesome marriage, after being here a few days, they’d relaxed and accepted the idea.
“Is it time for us to leave?” Kohana whispered in her ear.
“I see Holt waving at us. I think it is,” Cora answered. They got off the small stage the men had built for the party and worked their way to Holt.
“We’d better leave,” Holt said. “That is if you plan to start your honeymoon tonight at Kohana’s cabin.” His eyes twinkled with humor.
“We’re ready. You have our suitcases in your truck, so let’s ride,” Kohana said.
Garrick got in the front with Holt and Kohana and Cora sat in the back. Garrick turned to face them. “No fooling around. We don’t want to embarrass Holt, and I want to be in on the beginning of this honeymoon.”
“Spoilsport,” Kohana said. “I’ll behave the best I can.” He pulled Cora close to his side and kissed her.
“Tell us about the cabin and the nearby town,” Holt said. He looked in the rearview mirror. “Though I must admit very little embarrasses me.”

Tired but happy, they finally arrived at the cabin late that evening. They had stopped to eat at a quaint little restaurant on the way. Garrick and Kohana took turns carrying her over the threshold. Then they went out and brought the suitcases inside.
Cora opened the glass sliding doors and stepped out on the balcony. The full moon shed light on the mountains and trees spread for miles in front of her.
Kohana came up behind her and put his arms around her waist and his chin on her shoulder. “Wait until you see it in the morning. It’s a beautiful sight at sunrise.”
“Will you wake me so I can see it with you and Garrick?”
“Sure.”
Garrick stepped out to join them. He carried three champagne glasses and handed one to each of them. “I’m making a toast to our beautiful wife.” He and Kohana raised their glasses.
“And to my wonderful, handsome husbands,” Cora held her glass up and they took a sip. “This is good.” She drank more and stood between them.
Kohana put his glass on the table by where they were standing. “I don’t know about you two, but I’m ready to make love to my lady.” He took Cora’s glass and sat it by his. “Do you mind?”
“No.”
He swung her into his arms and took long strides up the stairs. Then he entered a large bedroom with two windows facing the mountains and trees. Moonlight lit the room and a path across the king size bed’s covering. He sat Cora down by the bed.
Garrick came in right behind them. “This is a nice place.”
“I got lucky. I often came to this area to unwind. On one of my trips, the man I’d been renting from said he wanted to sell. I agreed to buy it right away. I’d liked this cabin as soon as I first saw it.”
“The large living room with the huge fireplace is lovely, and then the kitchen beside it is big enough to cook a full meal if you wanted to. You can see it was built with care and extra little touches were added,” Cora said.
“The owner was sick, and his wife wanted to live where their kids were so she’d have support, otherwise I don’t think they’d have sold just yet.”
Garrick pulled Cora into his arms and kissed her. “When you came down the aisle you took my breath away. I’ve always thought you were beautiful, but you looked like an angel in your wedding gown.”
“I pinched myself to be sure I wasn’t dreaming,” Kohana added.
“You two looked very handsome yourselves. But I like you just as well in sexy jeans that show off your long legs and tight butt.”
“Cora.” Kohana pretended to be shocked. “When did you start admiring men’s butts?”
“When you were about eighteen.” She grinned at him and laughed when he blushed.
“Men are so funny. It’s all right to admire certain parts of a woman’s anatomy, but you get embarrassed if a woman admires yours and tells you.”
Garrick tipped her head upward and kissed her lips. “You admire me all you want. Let’s get naked and admire each other.” Garrick unbuttoned the lacy, white blouse she’d worn with black slacks. He carefully laid it on a nearby chair and then reached around her and undid her bra.
It fell off and Garrick’s hands covered her lush breasts in his warm hands. He bent and kissed the tops of them. “They’re cream-colored with rosy nipples.” His thumbs rubbed the tips of her nipples and they peaked into sensitive points.
Cora moved her body against him and felt his long, hard cock jerk in response. She nipped at his firm jawline.
Kohana had been undressing. He put his naked body against her back and his dick rubbed on her lower back. Caught between her two husbands, her heart pounded like a hammer. Happiness bubbled in her veins like the ones in the champagne glass. Euphoria had her longing to feel one of them tight within her.
As though Kohana read her thoughts, he turned her to face him and quickly removed the rest of her clothes. Then he pulled her legs up around his waist. He kissed her hard and thrust his cock into her pussy.
Garrick had stepped back to take off his clothes and to watch as Kohana placed her and himself carefully on the bed before continuing to plunge in and out. Garrick rolled a condom on and sat at the top of the bed beside her. His finger outlined her ear and a buzzing hum of desire had all her nerves invigorated as a swell of bliss swamped her. Her hips rose and took Kohana in further. Then she clamped hard on his dick and her orgasm rolled her over and under.
Kohana pumped quickly a few more times before his cock stiffened, and then pulsated against her pussy walls as his hot sperm hit her womb.
He lay over her for a minute before he raised his head to look at her face. “In my excitement, I forgot the condom.”
“Don’t worry. I want children, and we need to start trying right now. I’m thirty-eight and hoping I can still get pregnant.”
“You will. Don’t worry.”
“With such macho men, I’m sure you are right.”
Garrick pulled his condom off. “I want to try the jetted tub. How about you, Kohana?”
“You and Cora have fun. I’m going to lie here and rest.”
“Wait here, Cora. I’ll get the tub filled. Then you can join me.”
Cora lay back and admired her rings. “I haven’t had a change to thank you for the ring you got me. Both the wedding ring set and the other one are perfect.”
She snuggled against Kohana. “Any regrets?”
He made her look up at him. “None and there won’t be. I did talk with Jarvis, after I checked with my parents. Mom and Dad are totally agreeable to his staying with them to recuperate. To my surprise Jarvis agreed readily. He won’t be out of the hospital until next week, but when he is, I’ll fly there to bring him back. That’s all. I’m quite content to be a cowboy again as long as I have you.”
Garrick put his knee on the bed and rolled her toward him. “My turn.” He carried her to the tub and sat her in the warm, swirling water. He got in behind her. His hands rubbed her shoulders and breasts.
“Doesn’t this feel good?” he asked.
“Heavenly. My body was sore from all the traveling. I get tense when I fly.”
He moved in front of her. “Lie back and enjoy your massage.” Garrick lifted her foot and began to knead all the parts from her toes to her heel. Then he moved up both legs.
“My body is melting into the tub,” she said.
“Don’t worry. I’ll scoop all of you up and make love to you soon.”
* * * *
Garrick watched her lovely face as his hands kneaded her muscles. He’d lost his heart to her the first time she’d stood up to him and asked him why he was following her. He was a
fraid to admit it in the beginning. He’d thought his feelings were happening too quickly to be real. But they’d only grown stronger and he adored his wife. “Wife,” he said the word softly and her eyes opened. She rewarded him with a gentle smile.
When he got to her lower lips, he moved around them and kissed her soft abdomen and then caressed her full, soft breasts.
His tongue swirled around her peaked nipples and his lips brushed the spot on her neck where her heart throbbed against her translucent skin. Gently, without missing a beat he sat on the back on the tub area and lifted her up to straddle his body.
“I’m so relaxed. I can hardly move.”
“Let me help you. Spread your legs wider.” He placed his hard cock at her pussy opening and very slowly worked his way inside. Her pussy walls were slick with her juices. She sank down on him taking his cock in deep.
His fingers played with the tips of her breast as she began to move up and down on him. He put his hands around her waist and encouraged her to go faster.
They stared into each other’s eyes as heat raced in his veins, and his cock pulsated in happiness as she stroked him with her clenching movements.
“I love you,” he whispered. “And I’ll try to see you stay happy.”
“I love you, too.” She rose up and came down harder on him, taking his breath. Then she rubbed her fingers over his nipples and kissed his mouth.
A vivid sense of excitement shook his body and raced up his spine. A cloud of joy and pleasure wrapped around him as his orgasm hit him.
Cora sat on him firmly, and his cock throbbed against her rippling pussy walls. Their orgasms were stronger and lasted longer than usual.
Garrick lifted her off him and they slid into the now cold water. “Shall we shower?” he asked.
“In just a minute when my legs can hold me.”
He held her close and kissed her tenderly as his heart and breathing returned to their natural state.
“You are my heart’s desire.”
“And mine, too,” Kohana said from beside the tub.
He grabbed a towel and wrapped it around Cora when she stood. Then he lifted her out. Garrick got up and took the other towel on the bar and began drying.
Kohana handed them thick, white robes like he had on. “I’m hungry. Let’s go raid the refrigerator, drink some more champagne, and come back to bed and make love.”
“Sounds like a good idea to me,” Garrick agreed. He carried Cora downstairs and placed her on a stool by the kitchen counter separating it from the living room.
Kohana lit a fire and Garrick started to cook bacon and eggs.
“May I help?” Cora asked.
“No, save your energy. Maybe we’ll make love by the fire before we go back upstairs,” Kohana said. He smiled at her. “I can’t imagine why I didn’t come home sooner.”
Cora looked at him and Garrick. “We had to wait for Garrick to get here.”
“True,” Kohana said.
Garrick agreed. “We make the perfect threesome.”
* * * *
Later Cora lay between her two sleeping husbands. They’d made love before the fireplace, and then had come upstairs and fallen asleep. But one of them had moved and she woke up.
It all seemed a dream. Her life had changed so much in the past couple of months. She glanced at Kohana’s sleeping face, his hard jaw, and his long, silky black hair. In sleep more of his Native American features were noticeable.
Garrett’s face was more open in sleep and when awake. He had the calmer personality of the three. Whereas she suspected Kohana was stronger physically, but she also knew in times of crisis, Garrett’s calm and sensible demeanor would see them through.
She closed her eyes trying to sleep. She couldn’t wait for tomorrow.
Epilogue
They were going out to dinner tonight to celebrate their six-month anniversary. Cora had been excited and happy, but her monthly time had come again. She kept hoping she’d get pregnant.
At work she was able to forget her disappointment and work on her patients. But she was quieter, and one lady commented on it.
Cora had known Mrs. Lillie all her life. When she asked what was wrong, Cora told her. “I know six months isn’t a long time, but I’m afraid I won’t be able to have my own child.”
“It is too short a time for you to be worrying,” Mrs. Lillie said, agreeing with her. “Relax and it’ll happen.”
“Thanks. I know you’re right.” Feeling better, she finished with her and closed for the day. She had started walking to her car when Gavin rang her.
“Can you stop by my office on your way home? I have someone I want you to meet.”
“All right, I’m on my way.”
She parked and was waved on through to Gavin’s office. When she knocked, Gavin said to come on in.
Cora opened the door, and then saw Garrett and Kohana walking toward her. “What’s this all about?” she asked.
Garrick shrugged. “Don’t know. Gavin called and asked me to come to the office.” He looked at Kohana. “I guess he called you, too.”
“Yeah, I was headed home so I swung around and came this way.”
“Will the three of you come on in, and you’ll have your answer,” Gavin said.
Kohana opened the door wide for them to try and squeeze in. Sitting on a small chair to the right was a tiny girl. Her big blue eyes were opened wide, and she looked frightened.
“Cherry, I want you to meet three friends of mine.” Gavin introduced them as they stood in the doorway.
“You all look confused. I know you have that big house and you’re building on it to make it bigger for when you have children. Cherry”—he nodded at the little girl—“is four, and she needs a home.”
Gavin smiled at the tiny child. “The official powers want to take her to the big city and find her a foster home. I think she needs to stay where she’s familiar with the place and some of the people.”
Cora knew what he was getting at. Her heart swelled with love for the poor forsaken child. Maybe she hadn’t gotten pregnant yet because Cherry needed them right now. She glanced at her husbands and saw the awareness hitting them. Kohana frowned at first, and then he studied the little girl. Garrick had smiled immediately.
“Gavin, can one of your assistants take Cherry to get a drink while we talk?” Kohana asked.
“Sure.” He called the receptionist, and Angie quickly came to the room.
“Come on, Cherry. I bet you can eat another cookie and drink some milk.” The little girl took her hand, but looked back at them as she went out the door.
“Why don’t the officials want to find a foster home here in Triple Creeks Township for Cherry?”
“They know her mother and father. They both drink, and afterward the father beats on his wife. I suspect he’s raised his hand to the little one a few times. Most of the town is scared of her father.”
“It’s Henry, isn’t it?” Kohana asked and Gavin nodded. “I didn’t like him in school. He was two years behind me and a bully then.”
Cora added, “I remember being afraid of him. I stayed out of his way.”
“I thought the three of you might keep her until they can find someone to adopt her. They aren’t giving her back again. This is the third time they’ve had to intervene and her parents have agreed to the adoption. They don’t really want her.”
“Will the authorities let us have her?” Kohana asked.
“Yes, they, like me, don’t think Henry will bother Cherry with the two of you to protect her. He’s a bully and a coward, and although he’s given his permission for the adoption, he’ll want to make a scene like he cares.”
Cora looked at Garrick and Kohana. They all three grinned. “I guess we’re starting our family quicker than we thought,” Garrick said.
“Yes, and we won’t be foster caring her. We’ll be adopting her. She doesn’t need to move around anymore,” Kohana said. He looked at Cora. “You agree?”
“Absol
utely, how about you Garrick?” she asked.
“I was having the same thought. Let’s take our daughter home.”
“Not so fast. The lady with all the papers is waiting in the employee room. There’ll have to be a trail period,” Gavin warned.
“We can handle that.”
“In the employee room, they found Cherry, Angie, and the state employee with her papers.
Cora walked to Cherry and knelt beside her. “Would you like to come live with us?” she asked.
Cherry looked from her to the two big men behind her. “They’re sweet as pie and they want you to come be with us,” Cora reassured her.
Garrick came closer. “Do I scare you?”
She nodded yes. Her big eyes like saucers.
Kohana joined Garrick. “We promise we won’t hurt you. We’ll see you have plenty to eat, a room of your own, and we’ll teach you how to ride a pony.”
The little girl looked from one of them to the other. She studied Cora and asked, “Do they hurt you and make you yell ‘stop’?” Her young face had a solemn expression when she asked.
“Never, but sometimes they tickle me, and I yell ‘stop.’”
Cherry smiled. “Then I’d like to come home with you.” She looked at the woman who’d brought her to the office. “How long can I stay this time?” she asked, tears were in her eyes.
Cora blinked tears away and swallowed around the lump in her throat. “If they let us, you’ll stay for a very long time.”
Cherry put out her thin arms and Cora picked her up. The little girl tightened her arms around Cora’s neck and held on tight.
Cora looked at Kohana and Garrick surrounding them. “Our own little family.” Her heart overflowed with happiness.
