“Get that shirt off. I need you.”

She stared at him as he undid his pants and his boots. He kicked them off and then shoved his boxers down, and his thick, hard cock bobbed against his stomach muscles. She tossed off her shirt, and he reached for her breasts, cupping them, and she reached for his chest.

“No.” He swiftly turned her around and bent her over the desk. He knelt down and fingered her cunt, then licked along her anus. He kept one hand pressed at her lower back, her breasts smushed against the cold wood.

“Clark, what’s wrong? Why won’t you let me touch you? Why do you keep the shirt on?”

He leaned over her, suckled against her neck, and aligned his cock with her pussy.

“Please, Pina, just respect my command. Do as I say and let me love you.”

She heard the pain in his voice, and it hit her chest, her heart, and gut hard. Something was wrong.

He eased his thick, hard cock up into her pussy, and they both moaned. He held himself inside of her and didn’t move. “Heaven. Your body is heaven, and it’s like nothing else matters but this moment and being connected like this to you.”

“I feel it, too, Clark. Don’t ever be afraid to tell me anything, please, and I promise to tell you everything, too.”

She felt compelled to somehow let him know that, whatever he was hiding, she wouldn’t judge him or question him. If he wanted to keep his shirt on, then as much as it bothered her and created more questions, she would respect his wishes.

He eased in and out of her pussy, squeezing her ass cheeks, running his palms up and down her body.

“You’re perfect. Your skin is flawless and beautiful. You’re prefect. Too perfect for a man like me.”

She was shocked as his palms pressed harder against her skin and then eased to her lower back and then her ass. He pumped into her cunt.

“What do you mean?” she asked him.

  “Don’t.”

“I want to know what you mean, Clark. I love how you make me feel. I love when you’re like this, deep inside of me. I want it all the time. I want you and your brothers to never leave my side and always be with me. It’s crazy, and I know it can’t happen, but I want it. If it wouldn’t drive you away from me, I’d keep you right next to me, holding me, protecting me.”

“Fuck, Pina. I am going to protect you with all I have.”

“I’ll protect you, too, so no one can ever hurt you when I’m around.”

He gave her ass a smack. Then he chuckled.

“Mine,” he said and then gripped her hips, lifted them slightly, and began to set a fast, deep pace into her cunt from behind.

She cried out her release, loving this man and knowing that she loved all six brothers with all her heart.

Clark grunted and came, then leaned over her and kissed her neck and bare shoulder, then down her back as he pulled out and gave each ass cheek a nip. He smoothed his palms along her skin.

  “Perfection.”

After he helped her up, he walked to the bathroom, and when he reached for the towel and turned, she saw red marks along his lower back. Her eyes widened, and he gripped the towel and stared at her.

She was shocked to see the expression of embarrassment and fear in his eyes flash over them so quickly.

  “I—”

  “Don’t,” he snapped at her.

  “I love you,” she whispered.

  His eyes widened.

“I know it’s crazy, but I do,” she said, heart pounding so fast she could hardly catch her breath.

“You don’t know what love is. We’re your first lovers, and it takes time.”

She shook her head and walked closer. “No, time doesn’t matter when the feelings, the bond is this strong. How can I explain to you how strongly I feel?”

  “Explain to my brothers.”

“No. I want to tell you how I feel right now, right here with you, Clark, and only you because each of you affects me in so many ways and each of you touches me in different ways. I love how your hands feel against my skin. I love that you’re so strong and a soldier, and I want you to be as close to me as possible, and I can tell you with a hundred-percent certainty that I would do anything to protect you, to keep you safe, and to make you smile.”

He closed the space between them and pulled her into his arms and kissed her. That kiss was deep, sensual but also filled with pure emotion. When he released her lips, he cupped her cheeks.

“Why do you need to be so perfect?”

“So that you’ll love me, too, because we’re perfect together.”

“I need you to respect my wishes.”

“Are you injured back there? Are there scars from when you served as a soldier?” she pushed.

  “My wishes.”

“My trust. My love. My everything. I took a chance. I gave you all my virginity, and I let all of you take me in every hole the same night. I think it goes without saying that you can trust me to respect you and honor you, scars and all.”

He stared into her eyes and then looked to her lips and face as though he was shocked by her words. “They’re ugly, Pina. They make me feel ugly and always symbolize the experience and the person who inflicted them on me.”

“I know about scars, about ones that run as deep to the soul as they can get. I shared my darkest secret, my greatest fear as I was nearly raped at eighteen years of age. I may not have a physical scar, but the emotional and mental ones have stuck with me for all these years. Hell, I was a twenty-four-year-old virgin until you Mondave brothers came along with your suave moves and protective actions.”

He smirked, then ran a finger along the bridge of her nose.

“Like you, I had to fight for my life and kill.”

She swallowed. “Did you kill the one who did it to you?”

  He nodded.

“Then it’s behind you, and the slate is clean. We can’t let our minds wander over the past and stay there, or we’ll get eaten up alive. You moved on. Put it behind you.”

“No one but my brothers have seen them, Pina, and not since day one when I returned.”

She stepped back. “Show me, Clark, so there are no secrets between us.”

He stared at her, and she could see how hard this was for him. He undid the buttons the rest of the way and took off his shirt. When he turned around, she was shocked at the sight. Deep red welts in strips across his back covered his flesh all the way to the top of his ass. They were scars, still reddened from God knows how many years ago. Her instincts had her reacting, and she pressed up against his back, hugged him, squeezed him tight, and began to kiss along his skin.

“Pina.” His voice cracked with emotion.

“You’re my warrior, my lover, my everything. Forever.”

  Chapter 11

“What do you have for me? When can we take Pina from them?” Liam asked his contact.

“They’re with her constantly and have plans to keep her guarded.”

“That’s not good enough. I pay you very well.”

“Well, you’re going to pay me more for the information I just caught wind of. But first, there has to be a way to divide the Mondave men so they aren’t protecting her together. It’s the only chance of taking her.”

“What do you suggest, and what is this information you have?”

“In time. First things first, Liam. Jonah, Trace, and Dane will be at their office tomorrow working on continued plans for events coming up. Knox, Niall, and Clark will be accompanying Pina to her house to gather clothing. It would be the best opportunity to grab her then. To have men invade the area shooting up the place and separating them from her. But right before that happens, another assault can be made on Jonah, Dane, and Trace outside the office. I’ll get the call through to Knox, drawing his attention away from Pina and his brothers.”

“I’ll have you go over everything with Keno.”

“You may want to keep Keno out of this for now.”

  “Why is that?”

  “Au
rik wants Pina alive for himself, but when Keno finds out what I know, he’ll want her for himself, to torture her and then kill her.”

  “Why?”

“Add another hundred grand to my account and I’ll tell you.”

“A hundred grand? What the fuck kind of information do you have that’s worth that?”

“When Pina was eighteen years old, she was the one in the car with Keno’s brother, Jordene. Jordene tried to rape her to get her to pay off the debt, and she pulled his gun on him and shot him twice. When the cops showed up, they shot him several more times, killing him, but it was Pina who shot Jordene first.”

“Holy shit, Brainyard. Keno will want her dead.”

“I’ll get the plan in motion. Put in my account what you think is good enough for my services. I’ll call you when it’s time.”

Knox kissed along Pina’s shoulder. When she leaned back against his chest he released a long sigh he had been holding inside. In a matter of forty-eight hours he fell head over heels over this woman and she was in grave danger. She stared out at the ocean. The sun was beginning the set, and the others were making dinner, working out details for a trip to the office tomorrow and a stop by Pina’s house for clothes.

He slid his arm around her waist and right up under her shirt to cup her breast.

“Do you like it here?” he asked her, then pressed his lips to her neck and slid his hand down into the baggy sweatpants that were way too big for her. It was one of the reasons why they needed to go by her house, so she could find things that fit her. He had to chuckle. Every time she started walking the sweats would fall off. They didn’t mind one bit though. She looked sexy in anything, and extremely sexy wearing one of their T-shirts that reached her knees.

“What’s not to like. It’s so beautiful, Knox. To be able to wake up to this every morning, and watch the sunset right over the ocean every night, is a fantasy.”

Her voice hitched as he slid his fingers down over her pussy and pressed a finger into her cunt.

“You belong here, and look stunning in the sunlight,” he whispered and she moaned softly and rocked her hips.

“Could you see yourself staying here with us? Waking up every morning in our arms and going to sleep every night with one of us holding you and all of us close?”

He bent her forward slightly and she gripped the railing.

“Oh God, Knox. Oh,” she moaned. He stroked faster and pressed her sweats down to her ankles.

“Would you like that, baby? To stay here and let us make love to you all the time, in every spot in this house? Hell, right here on the balcony in the sunset?” he said and continued to thrust his fingers into her cunt.

“Yes, Knox. Yes,” she moaned and tilted her head back.

“Fuck. I need you. Right here, right now.” He shifted back, pushed his pants down, got into position, and pulled his fingers from her cunt and replaced them with his cock. “Hold on tight, sweetie. This is the first of many nights on this balcony claiming you, my woman.”

He shoved into her to the hilt. She gasped and he held himself deep and they both exhaled.

  “I love you,” he whispered.

“I love you, too. I love all of you.”

  He chuckled. “Thank God.”

He pulled slightly out, then thrust back in. He continued to set a nice steady pace as the sun lowered down over the ocean in front of them. She was moaning and panting and he gripped her hips and shoved harder, faster. “So good, so tight and wet for me.”

She rocked her hips back surprising him.

“Harder, Knox. Harder,” she demanded and he suckled her neck, grabbed her hip with one hand, and cupped her breast with the other hand. He stroked into her, rocking his hips hard and fast. She cried out her release and he followed, then shook as he came. He hugged her so tight she gasped, and he had to loosen his hold, unaware he squeezed her so damn tight.

“You’re my everything, baby. My everything.”

“And you’re mine,” she said and he slid out from her pussy and she turned around and hugged him tight. He lifted her up into his arms and held her close, inhaled her scent, and then looked at the final rays of orange, red, and yellow descending into the water. He should have felt peace and a contentedness, but instead he felt the twinge of trepidation minimizing the happiness of this special moment. Pina was in harm’s way, and his brothers and their friends would need to constantly be on guard and protect her with their lives. He would do anything for Pina.

“I’m telling you that we need to go over these details and the information received. Someone from the inside would have to know the time schedule on these deliveries and our personal plans. It’s someone in the company,” Jonah said as he got out of the car along with his brothers Trace and Dane.

The second they headed toward the doors to the building in the underground garage, shots were being fired at them. Trace fell back to the ground with a hit to his arm, a flesh wound. Jonah pulled him behind the car. Dane fired back, and then tires squealed and two dark SUVs sped from the parking garage as guards appeared, guns drawn, shooting at the vehicle.

“What the fuck?” Trace yelled out.

“Lie still. You’re shot. Holy shit, Trace.” Jonah pulled off his jacket and applied pressure to the wound.

“Fuck, it burns. I think it’s a flesh wound.”

Dane knelt down as more security emerged. He looked at his brother’s arm. “Fuck, you’ll need stitches. It’s a serious flesh wound.”

“Call Knox and warn him. They’re at Pina’s place,” Jonah said.

Dane took out his cell phone as Brainyard appeared. “What the fuck happened? Did you call your brothers?”

“Guys started shooting up the fucking place. Trace was hit. Dane is calling Knox now,” Jonah told Brainyard, and then Brainyard pulled out his cell phone.

“Your brother Trace has been shot. In the parking garage at the office. Knox? Knox?” Brainyard yelled into the phone.

“Clark? Clark?” Dane yelled into the phone.

  “What’s going on?” Trace asked.

“Gunfire,” Brainyard said and closed up the phone.

Jonah stared at him, his mind instantly on gut instinct, wondering why Brainyard was here. Why had he asked if they’d called their brothers to let them know when it literally had just happened and why was he just standing there now, looking smug?

Jonah stood up and decked Brainyard, sending him to the ground.

“What the hell is going on, Jonah?” Trace asked.

“Handcuffs now!” Jonah yelled at some of the security. The one guy handed them over, and Brainyard tried to resist. Jonah kicked him in the spine and kept his knee there, digging into it.

“If you’re the one who’s been double-crossing us and telling Liam and Aurik our plans and our delivery information, you’re a fucking dead man.”

“What, are you crazy? I’ve worked for you and for Mercury for two years.”

“Not enough time to be truly loyal.” Jonah pulled his cell phone from his back pocket. “Only way to see is who this fucker has been calling.”

“I’ll take that. Mercury has men heading to Pina’s house.” Dane took the phone and headed into the office building.

Pina was in the bedroom pulling together some clothes and things when Clark and Knox both got phone calls. Niall was carrying her one bag, and she was carrying the other when they heard gunshots outside.

“Fuck,” Niall yelled, drawing his weapon and holding on to her.

“Wait, I have guns, too.” She ran to the dresser, pulled out her Glock, and pressed the safety release.

  “What?”

“I’m licensed,” she said as they made their way toward the front of the house. Shots came through the windows, and they could hear yelling. Clark and Knox were shooting.

“Stay right here and shoot whoever comes through that door except for us.”

  “Niall, wait,
she said, and then more shots hit the door.

He pulled it open and fell back as a shot hit his arm. She screamed and had bent down when someone grabbed her from behind. Her gun fell to the floor, and another guy swung the butt of his gun at Niall, hitting him in the head. Aurik pulled her from the house and through the back. More shots rang out, and then as Aurik pulled her toward the SUV, she saw Clark and Knox running toward them.

She kicked Aurik in the stomach, shocking him, and then kicked the gun from his hands. As she dove for the gun, Ivan shot at her men. She grabbed Aurik’s gun and shot him and then Ivan, but Ivan shot back, hitting her in the side. He drove at her, and she kept firing the gun as other men shot at Clark and Knox, keeping them from getting to her.

Ivan fell to the ground, dead, and as she crawled back, side bleeding from a flesh wound, someone put a gun to the back of her head. She froze and dropped the gun as gunfire continued to erupt around them. She saw Clark and Knox on the ground firing back. She turned to look who it was that dragged her toward the SUV, and when she locked gazes with Keno, she screamed, “Let go of me.”

He backhanded her across the mouth.

“Not a chance, bitch. You killed my brother, and now you’re going to suffer for it.”

  * * * *

“Holy shit, this is fucking insane, Mercury,” Falco said as they slowly made their way into the building.

They found the SUV quickly and had men coming into the building at all angles. If Pina was in there with Keno, then they were going to catch him and stop him from killing her. Mercury couldn’t believe that Brainyard was working for Liam Russell. If their plan worked accordingly, the bomb they planted would detonate once they were in the air. The bastard’s plane should be blowing up right about now.

As they swept through the building, he heard one of his men from the top floor.

“Get the hell out. It’s a setup. It’s wired!” he yelled.
