Romeo: SEALs of Vegas

Gently I take one hard nipple in my mouth while my hand squeezes the other. My Kit Kat is purring under me, lifting her hips and pushing her breasts into my face. Her nails scrape my scalp. Little sounds fall from her mouth as she squirms under me. I’ll never get enough of this.
“That’s it Kit Kat. Stop thinking and let me please you,” I mumble the words around her full breast. This woman is absolutely fuckin’ delicious.
“Fuck me Cruz, I need you to fuck me.”
Hearing her call my by my last name makes my crazy hard. She’s right where I want her. I push a second finger into her and scrape my teeth around her dark hard nipple. Her internal muscles clamp and squeeze my fingers. My cock is pushing against her entrance. I grab my shaft and give myself a few hard quick jerks, rubbing the head into her wet folds. The heat of her slick pussy is almost unbearable.
“Kiss me Kat.”
Our kiss is desperate and messy. I fist her hair with just the right amount of pressure to keep her in place. She on sucks my tongue, tasting herself.
Unable to hold back any longer I push my cock into her, burying myself to the hilt and hitting her cervix on the first thrust. Her tight pussy immediately starts to milk me, fluttering up and down my length as her nails dig into my shoulder. She bites my chin as her impending orgasm builds. I grind my hips against her sensitive clit and pull out, only leaving the head in. And then I fuck her hard and fast. I fuck her into the mattress so hard the headboard bangs against the wall.
“Yeah,” she pants, “fuck me like this.”
She’s perfect. I take control of her mouth and swallow her screams as we come together. Sweaty and exhausted, I roll over and position my chest against her back. Her soft and limp body form perfectly into mine. I’ve heard the guys talk about spooning but never understood why they did it. But now I do. I wish we could stay like this forever. Her chest rises slow and even. “Sweet dreams,” I rasp against her neck and kiss her temple.
“I love you Kit Kat.”

Romeo Cruz thinks he loves me. I need to get out of here before he wakes up. For the second time in my life I’m running from a man. Yeah, he might be the good guy but that’s the problem. He’s too good. Too good for someone like me. If he ever discovers my secrets he will hate me. And I don’t think I could recover from the first and only man I’ve ever loved hating me.
It’s three o’clock in the morning but for the Vegas airport it may as well be three in the afternoon. I have a new phone, some cash, and a credit card courtesy of him. He had everything set up for my return. The man never doubted he would be able to rescue me.
After a three hour flight to Colorado I UBER to the ranch. It’s the only family I have left and I’m not even sure they'll want me back in their lives.
Of course the gates are closed and locked. Fencing surrounds the seven hundred fifty acres of rolling hills and green crops. The sight of it takes my breath away. I hear the driver pull away and toss my small bag over the fence. Next I land on the other side and start walking along the dirt road. By now I know I’ve set off every security alarm known to man. Heck, I have no doubt they’re watching me right now. But I’m in no hurry to see any of them.
It’s hot and dry. The slight warm breeze carries the scent of freshly cut grass. I’ve never smelled anything sweeter. I think Romeo would love it here. Never mind, I know he would love it here. But he’s part of my past now, and I need to block him from my mind. The only problem is I can’t stop thinking of him. My heart aches to have his big strong arms wrapped around me.
I’m doing this to protect us both. He thinks he loves me, but I know that isn’t possible. My life is too fucked up. If he ever discovers the truth he’ll be devastated. It’s better for everyone to start over and forget about the past. Sometimes there are too many secrets and lies to ever get to the truth.
Up ahead I can see swirls of dust kicking up in the wind and know it will only be a matter of minutes before they’re here. Sweat trickles down my temples and I suddenly realize how thirsty I am. My hand skims over my stomach and I swear under my breath for forgetting my water bottle in the car.
The red pick up truck is barreling toward me. I continue walking in the center of the road. The crunch of Colorado dirt under my feet reminds me how much I’ve missed these guys. All four of them.

Gone. The only thing my Kit Kat left was a note. I read the words again and crumple the paper into a ball.
“Cade. Find her. Now.” I toss my cell onto the couch. My stomach rumbles as I stalk into the kitchen. Everything in this place reminds me of her. The counter where I bent her over and fucked her from behind. The shower where I ate her pussy for so long she practically went unconscious from all the orgasms. The wall where I buried my cock into her so hard and deep her nails drew blood down my back.
Katalina Martinez is going to find out I never give up. And I always get what I want. She thinks she can run off and hide, avoiding me forever. I have no doubt she loves me. This entire time her trust in me has slowly been building. I can feel it when we’re together. Hell, she wouldn’t allow me to do the things we’ve been doing if she didn’t trust me.
I can see this for exactly what it is. Kat is scared of giving me the opportunity to disappoint her. To let her down, lie, and betray her like her scumbag of a father. After that fiasco it only makes sense she’s trying to protect herself. I’ve saved enough hostages over the years and recognize self preservation.
After a quick shower I cook up some eggs and pancakes. I’ll find her and win her heart and trust forever. I don’t care about her fucking secrets and lies. From now on it’s truth only. And it needs to go both ways. I’ve got my own secrets buried deep too.
My cell rings. “Cruz,” I bark into the phone. It’s been less than an hour and Cade already has her location.
“Wheels up in thirty. I want the element of surprise.” I explain my plan and swear I can hear him grinning over the phone.
Cade laughs. “Gotchya boss man. No fuckin’ way she would ever expect this. This is why you’re the Fucker In Charge.”

All four of them are squeezed into the front cab of the truck. I’m not sure why I’m surprised. The pickup comes to a screeching halt in a tornado of dust. The dirt settles and they climb out. It’s been several years and they all look bigger. Broader, meaner, and thicker. Four sets of striking blue eyes watch every move I make, undoubtedly waiting for me to say something. Not knowing what to say, I drag the toe of my shoe through the dirt and twirl my hair.
“Get in the fuckin’ truck,” Jetty barks before sliding back behind the wheel and slamming the heavy steel door. He was always the leader. My bottom lip begins to quiver and I’m about to cry.
“It’s been a long time Kat. Haven’t heard from you in years, and now you just fall out of the sky and appear out of nowhere,” Mako sighs and shrugs his shoulders. “Give him time,” he says before climbing into the truck.
Rip gives me a raise of his chin and follows Mako. He’s never been a talker and apparently time hasn’t changed him.
Maybe it was a mistake coming back here. Too much time has gone by and I was stupid to expect things to go back to the way they used to be. We’ve all changed. While they look harder and meaner, I’m a hot mess on the cusp of some sort of mental breakdown. My life is a disaster, I walked out on the only man I’ve ever loved, and I’m fuckin’ broke.
“What’s going on?” Pike asks. He has always been the most intuitive. Those three words are all it takes for my tears to flow. I’m hot, tired, and the corners of my mouth are cracked. I can’t even begin to imagine how awful I look.
Pike steps closer, his worn Timberland boots touch the tips of my sneakers. I’m suddenly in his shadow. His thumb lifts my chin and tilts my head back.
His face is weathered, making him appear much older than I know he is. The scar on his jawline is now hidden under a t
hick beard. The sun has added highlights in his long shaggy dark hair. I desperately want him to hold me in his arms and promise me everything will be all right but I know he won’t.
None of them are the type of men to make fake promises. Jetty, Mako, Pike, and Rip are badasses living on a Colorado ranch preparing for the worst. Because the worst is all they’ve ever known.
“You don’t have to tell me your reasons now. But I’ll find out.” Pike’s eyes leave mine and he looks around, scanning the perimeter around us. The corners of his eyes crinkle and his mouth forms a tight straight line. “Were you followed?”
“No. I made sure of that.” My words come out fast and clipped. My cell chimes in my pocket. I wish the Earth would just open up and swallow me whole.
“Fuck.” Pike squeezes his eyes close and holds out his hand.
“I’m so sorry,” I whisper and place the phone in his calloused palm. His long fingers wrap around it and I can’t help but wonder if it will break in half under his strength.
He’s looking at me again. This time with laser vision that makes me feel like he sees right through me.
“Stop twirling your hair. I don’t like you nervous.”
“You’re making me nervous.”
“I’m making you nervous? Shit, you just brought what the fuck knows kind of trouble to the ranch. We don’t have time for this kind of shit. An hour ago I was fishing and now I’m asking myself how many fuckers I’m gonna have to shoot to keep us safe. You know these phones are easily tracked. Fuck.”
“I’m sorry. I didn’t know where to go.”
“Get in the damned truck. We’ll figure something out. There’s a lot of catching up to do.”
Pike holds the door open and I slide across the bench seat in the back. He follows right behind me. None of the guys say anything, making my heart race. I lick my lips but that doesn’t even help. Even my tongue is dry.
Jetty keeps taking his eyes off the dirt road to watch me from the rear view mirror. The back of his neck is deep brown with little beads of sweat trickling down. It’s too fucking hot here. If this truck has air conditioning they’re not turning it on.
Hot wind blows in my face and long strands of hair whip around my head. Jetty hits the gas harder and my stomach flips. My head spins and everything becomes smaller. Two big hands grab me and pull me up. My forehead hits something hard and everything goes dark.

The repetitive whomp whomp of the chopper blades cutting through the air overhead makes my adrenaline pump even more.
“What’s our ETA?” I turn and ask Briggs. We’re flying low enough to have a good vision of the rolling Colorado hills. I’ve always wanted to come up here and learn a thing or two about the cowboy life but the SEALs aren’t known for doing missions stateside.
I never expected by company, Romeo Endeavors, to take off the way it has. Honestly, I don’t even need to advertise. The first big job I was offered happened to be providing security for an up and coming country music star. During a sold out show in Texas her stalker attempted to kidnap her right off the stage. Had a car waiting and everything.
It was a pretty amateur attempt, but still above what regular security would have been able to handle. After a quick take down I had the perpetrator hog tied and gagged in front of twenty thousand screaming fans. Within minutes the entire fiasco was uploaded on YouTube and business has been booming ever since.
“We’re ten minutes out. Can’t believe you’re doing this you crazy fucker.” Briggs gives me the side eye and laughs.
After a quick double check of my gear I tug on my harness and give the thumbs up. The chopper begins to increase altitude and within minutes we’re under the cover of the clouds. Kat has quite the surprise coming if she thinks I’m going to let her walk away that easily. Especially after leaving me that lame ass note. She’s got bigger balls than a lot of men I know and I admire that.
After a check of my altimeter watch I pat the pocket over my heart and slide open the door. Briggs and I look at each other and laugh. “Go get your girl,” he bellows over the noise of the chopper. And then I leap out into the blue Colorado sky.

The room is cold and dark. I’m in the middle of a king sized bed, with thick pillows and soft cotton sheets. I sit up and reach for the bedside lamp. The deer heads and fish staring back at me creep me out. It’s definitely one of the guys’ bedrooms. I take a drink from the glass of water on the nightstand and don’t realize how thirsty I am until I swallow the last drop and wish for more.
A wave of nausea comes over me and it’s a reminder of how screwed up everything is right now. I’m sure by now Romeo is hell bent on finding me. The ranch is the best place for me to be. He’ll never be able to find me. Even if he was tracking my cell phone, this place is too remote. I have no idea how many structures are here, and that’s not even taking into consideration all of the bunkers below that I know these guys have stocked and loaded for some sort of world war three fallout.
Ugh, the guys. I have no idea what to tell them. But time isn’t on my side. Jetty bursts through the door. “You’re already up, good. Get your ass out of bed and into the living room. Now.”
“Where are your manners? Gimme a minute, okay?”
“No Katalina. It’s not fuckin’ okay. You’ve got some explaining to do and fast. Some asshole is parachuting into the ranch. He’s expected to land in four minutes. I need to know if I should shoot him now or wait until he lands. And you need to tell all of us who the fuck we’re dealing with.”
Holy shit. How did he find me so fast? It has to be Romeo and his team. I think back to how fast he rescued me from Cisco. I never asked him how he found me. Now I regret it. It’s pretty obvious why he’s so filthy rich. The man is excellent at what he does. But what did I expect, he’s a Navy SEAL.
“Don’t shoot him. Please.”
“Then you’ve got about thirty seconds to get out there and explain. We’re all waiting.” Jetty stalks out and slams the bedroom door. I’m right on his heels but I have no idea what to say. I know my brothers. They’ll have so many questions.
All eyes are on me. “Don’t shoot him. He saved my life and then I ran away. I didn’t think he’d be able to find me. His name is Romeo Cruz and he’s a Navy SEAL.”
Four jaws fall open. Jetty starts to pace the room as he speaks. “You thought you could hide from a SEAL? Are you out of your fuckin’ mind? And you brought him here?”
“Yeah, what the hell Katalina?” Mako speaks up. “SEALs aren’t exactly easy to knock off. The government always comes looking when one of their own goes missing.”
Rip just shakes his head back and forth. As usual he has no words to offer.
“Well, no use in waiting. Let’s get our asses out there and see what he wants. He sure as hell isn’t trying to stay undercover. Look at that canopy.” Pike points out of the huge window overlooking the crops. And no kidding, there’s a bright pink parachute falling from the sky.
“Who the fuck are you?” Jetty asks while Romeo unsnaps the parachute gear from his chest.
Romeo clears his throat and looks directly at me. “I’m the Fucker In Charge. And if you want to know anything else, just ask Kat.”
“How did you find me?”
We’re standing in the center of a field. My words come out louder and sassier than I expect. Romeo’s eye brows raise and he flashes a crooked grin. His soft full lips frame his perfect teeth and my body already begins to heat up.
“Did you forget what I do for a living?” He hesitates and glances at the four guys standing behind me. I’m sure every one of them is wearing their kill look, too.
“Kit Kat, it wasn’t hard finding you at all. Hell, Cade had your location pinpointed in minutes. It took longer to get wheels up than to find you.”
“Oh, well, um, yeah I guess I forgot to take all that into consideration.” My cheeks burn and I feel like a complete idiot. I know Jetty, Mako,
Pike, and Rip are hanging onto every word. I haven’t told them anything yet. So much shit has happened since I last saw them I don’t even know where I would begin.
Romeo throws his hands up in the air. “Did you think I wouldn’t come looking for you? You’ve got some serious fucking trust issues. I thought that changed but I guess I was wrong.”
The pulse in his neck is throbbing and his fists are clenched. The bright pink parachute trails behind him in a big fluff of fabric.
“I’m sorry. I just need time to think and clear my head. I didn’t have any place else to go.” It’s a weak excuse and I know it but sometimes the truth is too painful to explain.
“You walked out and left me a Dear John note. And then I find you on a ranch in the middle of fuckin’ nowhere Colorado with these ugly fuckers. What am I supposed to think Kat? You’ve got some explaining to do.”
“Wait up, Romeo,” Jetty flashes a steely glance at me. “Nobody asked you to come here and she doesn’t need to explain anything to you. She obviously doesn’t want to be with you. Do you Kat?”
Now they’re all looking at me again. I swallow hard and think about what to say. We’re in the middle of a field discussing my life. This is so screwed up I don’t even know where to begin.
“You don’t have to answer that,” Pike chimes in. He’s always saving my ass, even after all these years and everything I’ve put him through. It’s like he can read my mind.
My heart knows what it wants. Sometimes taking the risk is worth it. Like a magnet I’m pulled to him. I can’t help how I feel. The air between us sizzles as I step closer. As much as I can’t imagine my life away from him, I can’t imagine a life with him either. I always believed I would be alone forever.
