A Silver Cross and a Winchester (Jed Horn Supernatural Thrillers Book 2)

“Any of that make sense to you?” Johnny asked.
“Not much,” I admitted. “It does sound ominous, though. Apparently Mayhew wasn’t working alone.” I tapped the paper. “I want to know who ‘Master’ is.”
“What’s this about the ‘Seven’ and the ‘Ten?’” he asked.
I shook my head. “Not sure. The only thing I can think of is ‘seven heads and ten horns.’”
He turned a little pale at that. “Like in Revelation? The Apocalypse?”
I looked at him levelly. “I can’t think why else he’d be trying to summon Abaddon, of all things,” I replied flatly. “He was into some heavy stuff, and it looks like there’s somebody else who’s even more into it.” I looked down at the letter again. “I guess I’ve got my work cut out for me.”
Author’s Note
I hope you’ve enjoyed this little adventure. I know I enjoyed writing it. I’d like to thank the guys on WeTheArmed, who provided feedback as it was coming together.
So now I have a favor to ask you, reader. As a self-published author, particularly right now, where lots and lots of writers are availing themselves of the self-publishing tools out there, getting the word out about my stuff is an uphill battle. If you liked this little battle of sarcastic good versus ancient evil, please take five minutes to go on Amazon and post a review. Then tell your friends about it. When you see somebody reading some teenage angsty vampire pablum, lay this book on ‘em. Then I can get to writing Jed’s next adventure.
