One of his large hands slid around to my ass, gripping it firmly, and the other skimmed the top of my yoga pants. "I need to feel you." He whispered against my lips before kissing me again.
I reached for the door handle to let us inside but he slid his hand under my pants and panties, dipping his finger in between my folds. A gasp left my mouth at the unexpected but welcome move.
He moved his mouth to my ear and skimmed the lobe with his teeth. "I meant now. Not in thirty seconds behind closed doors." His voice was ragged and lust filled. My head fell back involuntarily against the door as his thick finger pushed into me. His lips found the bare skin of my neck and kissed hungrily. I moaned when another finger pushed inside of me, leaving me feeling full and needy.
"Your neighbors are going to hear you, baby. If you don't want them to know I'm fingering you in the hallway then keep quiet. Scream your fucking head off if you want the whole damn neighborhood knowing what I’m doing to my girl. Doesn't bother me either way."
I was momentarily reminded that we were in the hallway of my condo building, but the thought of getting caught only excited me more. I needed him to finish what he started. I clung to the lapels of his jacket and buried my face into his neck to keep from panting loudly. My hips were moving in rhythm with his fingers, building up the intensity quickly. "Carson...I'm close." I mumbled into his neck.
"You're so goddamn sexy, Mel. Let go." He requested breathlessly. A few more strokes and grinds against his hand and I bit the skin of his neck to stifle my scream as I came hard around his fingers. "Fuck." He panted, finding my mouth and kissing me hard. We stood like that for a long minute until the waves of pleasure subsided. I pulled back from his kiss and leaned back into his neck, suddenly feeling self-conscious that I just acted like a freaking animal and let him get me off in a semi-public place.
"Oh no, don't get shy on me now." He whispered. He withdrew his hand from my pants and wrapped both arms around me tightly.
"I can't believe I just did that. I was completely out of my mind to do that here."
He backed away slightly, bending down to my line of sight. He had a sexy as hell grin on those perfect lips. "You were a fucking rock star. That was the hottest thing I've ever experienced in my life."
My jelly like legs were making it hard to stand, and thankfully Carson was still holding onto me. A yawn escaped me as I pulled him in close to me. His excitement pressed against my stomach, making me want more. Making me want him. I cupped him through his slacks receiving wide eyes in return. "Stay with me. We're not finished yet."
He leaned his forehead to mine. "I'm going to be a gentleman and decline. It's not because I don't want to, believe me. But when we're together for the first time, I don't want to have to run off first thing in the morning for a work out or be getting to you late at night. I want to enjoy a full evening and the morning after with you."
Even after a mind blowing orgasm, rejection still stung. "I'm not above begging."
He kissed my cheek and leaned into my ear. "You have that sexy sleepy look in your eyes, I'm pretty sure you couldn't handle what I would do to you. Besides, I'm sure Lexi wouldn't appreciate being kept awake by you moaning and screaming my name for the entire night. Everything that I want to do to you will take a while and I won't stop until you're thoroughly satisfied. I’m a goddamn perfectionist."
A shiver ran down my spine and through my body at the thought of anything being better than I just experienced. He kissed me softly and backed away, leaving me alone against the door. My mouth dropped open in shock when he put the two fingers he just fucked me with in his mouth and licked them clean. He awarded me with a megawatt smile. "Better than I imagined. Good night, Melody."
The erection straining against his dress pants was still obvious. He must have seen me looking, because he reached down and adjusted it before winking. I swallowed hard, trying to remember to breath. "Good night, Carson."
Chapter Nineteen: Carson
Melody's lips ran over the plains of my abs, lightly licking and nibbling teasingly until she reached the waistband of my boxers. Her teeth tugged at the elastic. "These seem to be in the way." Her green eyes were focused on mine, lowering her mouth onto the fabric covering my strained cock. A faint ringing was in the distance, but there was nothing that would interrupt the two of us at this moment. "Take them off, baby. Take yours off while you're at it." She did as I said, both of us completely bare. She slid against my pelvis, her soft tits rubbing against my dick, then her stomach, only stopping when she was straddling me. Her wetness rubbed against me and I felt like I was about to lose my shit. "Answer the phone, Carson." She breathed heavily. I shook my head. "No fucking way." She giggled and rubbed against me, teasing me at her entrance. "You have to answer the phone, baby." She moaned, using me to pleasure herself. "Fuck the phone. Let me inside, Mel. I want you. All of you, right now." Her eyes turned dark when I grabbed her hips, sliding her slowly down onto my shaft. We both moaned in unison, but the fucking ringing grew louder. "What the fuck." I groaned. She laid on my chest, her hard nipples brushing against my pecs. "I told you to answer the phone. It's not going to stop. The quicker you answer it, the quicker we can get back to this. And Carson, I need this so bad. I need you to fuck me."
I opened my eyes reluctantly, only to be alone in bed. My hand was in my boxers gripping my dick, a wet spot on the cotton. Fuck, I'm getting ridiculous. It's been almost two weeks since Melody and I have spent any time together and it's starting to get to me. All I can think of is her in seriously nasty positions. How her sparkly eyes will turn darker with lust while my head is between her legs. Fuck, when I finally do touch her, I'm terrified I'll come faster than a teenage boy whose dick just got licked by a super model.
The phone started ringing again, pissing me the fuck off. The screen flashed my dad's name, and I practically growled when I answered it.
"You're awfully pissy this morning." He greeted.
"I was sleeping. What do you want?"
"I've been trying to get ahold of you for a few weeks. Don't you listen to your messages?"
"I've been busy. Again, what do you want?"
"I saw the pictures of you and that girl in the paper."
"And?"
"And I think you need to stay away from her Carson. I'm certain she's just looking for a payday. Be wary of a cute face and nice body."
"Are you kidding right now? I'm the one who asked her out. She's a great girl and I'm going to continue to see her, not that it's any of your business. You haven't exactly been the best role model in the male figure department, so forgive me if I do the polar opposite of anything you say. I've managed just fine up until now without you, and I'm confident that I won't need you in the future either."
"Carson, please trust me on this. If you ever listen to anything I say-"
"Do you know the only reason I keep in contact with you is because Mom asked me to? It has nothing to do with me wanting you in my life. You've been a shit father and only care about yourself. So do me a huge favor and don't call me. I'll make my obligatory calls to you once a month to keep Mom happy. Do you understand?"
Silence filled the line for a long moment. "I'm trying to look out for you, son. But if that's what you really want..."
"That's exactly what I want." I ended the call without a goodbye.

Interviews are my least favorite part of my job. I know it comes along with the territory, but I'm not one to spew bullshit just for publicity. Nathan Ross, on the other hand, is doing it like a mother fucking pro. Sydney Phillips was on the interview circuit today, and Ross had her eating out of his damn palm.
"Nathan, what are some of your other interests off the field?"
"Well, Syd, I have a soft spot in my heart for animals, as you may know. It breaks my heart to know there are so many in shelters, eagerly awaiting for their forever family to take them home. What upsets me even more is when people decide to go to breeders or pet shops instead of going to their local
animal shelter. That's why I try to encourage people to adopt, not shop, when they are looking for their next pet."
She leaned forward and put her hand on his knee, her tits practically spilling onto his lap. "That is so admirable."
Jesus Christ, he's so full of shit.
He covered her hand with his. "Thank you, but really, it's just the right thing to do."
My interview was fairly painless, that is, until Sydney brought up Melody.
"A few days ago there was some pictures taken of you and posted on Celebrity Tab's website. Since their release, you've been fairly quiet on the matter. Would you like to take the opportunity to comment?"
I shifted in my seat, knowing Pauline would have a shit fit if I commented on it this without running it by her first.
Fuck it.
"I think the photos speak for themselves, really. I met a really great girl who I have a connection with and look forward to seeing what the future holds."
"So we know that she is the fan you hit with the ball on opening day, but how did you two actually meet?" She asked sweetly.
Jesus Christ.
"I visited her in the hospital to make sure she was okay."
She played the same shit with me as she did with Ross. She bent over and placed her hand on my thigh, giving me an unwanted eyeful of cleavage. "That was very sweet of you to do, Carson. What a gentleman you are."
I gave a fake smile, grabbed her hand and moved it off me. "Thank you."
After the interview wrapped, I stood up and walked from the set. I was ready to get my workout in and get onto the field.
"Carson! Wait!"
I turned to see Sydney chasing after me. I inwardly cursed, not wanting to be near her for another second. It was obvious this girl was nothing more than poison. I didn’t trust her as far as I could throw her.
"Wow, you move fast." She giggled, pushing her red locks behind her ears. "I wanted to see if you were free for coffee? I'd like to do a personal piece on you. Baltimore's rookie is a pretty hot topic right now."
"Thanks for the offer, but I have a full day ahead of me."
"No problem, how about tomorrow? We can grab dinner after the game?"
Fuck no. "I have plans."
"With Fangirl?
"Not that it's any of your business, but yes."
“Huh.” Her red eye brows practically reached her hairline. "I thought that whole thing was just a publicity stunt."
"It's not, I assure you. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a game to get ready for." I walked away before she could respond.
“Carson, hold up!” I heard Ryan call out from behind. I slowed my pace and allowed him to catch up. “What were you just talking to Red about?”
“Turning her down for a ‘personal’ interview. I have a bad feeling about her.”
“You should. She may be hot as fuck, but she’s the devil in heels. Don’t take her up on any of her offers. She will do anything necessary to get a newsworthy story. She’s conniving and will twist your words like a goddamn pretzel.”
“So you’ve had a bad experience with her?” I asked.
“Yeah, one that I don’t care to talk about. Just listen to me. If she comes near you, run like you are the last living human on a planet full of zombies.”
I nodded my head at his crazy ass comparison, but was thankful for the warning.
Chapter Twenty: Melody
“Miss Mel, I’m done my worksheet, can you check it?” Grady slid his homework across the table.
“Sure buddy. Let me take a look.” I reviewed his answers for his math homework, all multiplication and division problems. Hell, I feel like I didn’t do half of this shit until I was I was at least in fifth grade. “They are all right! Good job Grady! Do you have any questions?”
“I have one question.”
“Shoot.”
“Do you like my dad?”
Whoa. Luckily, Grady and I were the only ones at the table. Lexi was talking to a parent outside the door, and two other little girls were playing at the chalkboard. I turned back to him, trying not to make a big deal out of it.
“Your dad is a very nice man.”
“I know, but I mean, do you like him like a mom likes a dad?”
Shit. Lexi, get your ass in here now.
“Um…”
“Grady! Your dad is here!” Lexi yelled as she opened the door, Adam following her in.
“Oh thank you sweet baby Jesus.” I sighed.
Grady put his homework in his folder and shoved it in his backpack. “Dad! I got all my homework questions right without any help!”
Adam held his hand out, Grady smacking it as hard as he could. “That’s awesome! You’re going to be smarter than I am soon.”
Grady laughed. “I already am, Dad.” Grady rounded the table and hugged me. “See ya Miss Mel.”
“Bye, buddy.”
Adam bent down to his son. “Grady, can you hang out here for a second? I need to talk to Miss Mel in the hallway really quick.”
Grady smiled at the both of us. “Are you going to ask her to be my new mom?”
Holy shitballs. I could feel my cheeks flush and shot my eyes to Lexi. She gave Grady a sad smile and put her arm around him. “You can come help me for a second.”
I walked out into the hallway and leaned against the wall. Adam shut the door behind him and took his place on the other side of the hallway. “Melody, I am so sorry.”
I held my hands up. “It’s not your fault, Adam. Kids sometimes get these ideas in their head and…”
“Yeah. Grady has been asking me if you could be his new mom. I wanted to give you a heads up about that before he brought it up to you, but I wasn’t quick enough, apparently.”
I chuckled. “Grady’s a sweet kid. He’s going to be fine, Adam. You’re doing a fantastic job doing the single parent thing.”
“Thank you.” He ran a hand through his short blonde hair before continuing. “I had a really good time at the game, and most of all, I love how good you are with Grady. It’s hard to find someone with enough patience to take on a seven year old who isn’t their own. You’ve been so good with him. I just wanted to let you know I appreciate what you’ve done for him.”
“I really haven’t done that much. It was a fluke that we both like the same team. He definitely knows his baseball.” I laughed.
“He does.” He laughed along. He shifted on his feet, looking a little nervous suddenly. “I…actually had something I wanted to ask you.”
Oh no. I was really, really hoping he wasn’t about to ask me out, it could make things extremely awkward. “What’s up?”
“Is Lexi seeing anyone?”
Oh thank you sweet baby Jesus.
“She’s not, she’s very single.” I smiled. “Are you thinking of asking her out?”
“Yeah, I just wasn’t sure if there was a rule against parents dating their kids’ teachers. Seemed like it could be a conflict of interest.”
I shrugged. “I’m not sure if there are any rules forbidding it, but I know Lexi will not date anyone until their child is out of her class. That’s just her personal preference. But…I didn’t tell you that.” I winked.
Adam smiled brightly. “Well, luckily there are only two more weeks before school ends. Thanks for the info.”
“Of course.”
He crossed the hall and kissed my cheek before opening the door. “Come on, G-man. Time to go grab some grub.”
Grady shot out the door and ran down the hallway. “Bye Miss Mel!”
I laughed and waved. “Bye boys.”
I stepped back in the room, Lexi close to spazzing out for information. “First Grady asks you that then Adam wants to talk to you alone. What in the hell did he say?”
“He was trying to warn me about Grady asking me that question.”
“It’s because Adam has been telling him he wants you to be his mommy. I told you he wanted you!” she shouted.
“Shh!” I looked over her shoulder at the two
little girls at the chalkboard. “It’s the opposite actually. He’s interested in someone else.”
Her blue eyes bugged out of her head. “He told you that? You can’t tease me like that!”
I bit my lip to try to contain my excitement. “Let’s just say he may be giving you a call at the end of the school year.”
“ME?” She yelled.
“Shh!” I laughed. “Yes, he asked me if you’re single. I told him you were, so I’m sure he will ask you out. Nothing else was said. But don’t you dare tell him I told you.”
