Taken by the Alien Warrior
Page 16
“Rakiz is a warrior who has left his tribe to hunt for a human female. He’ll understand my need to tie those mating bands on your wrists before anyone else thinks to do the same.”
I laugh at the idea that giant warriors are lining up to claim me, but Terex’s face is serious, so who am I to argue if he wants to believe I’m that incredible? I’m no dummy.
At least, not anymore.
“Fine,” I laugh as he stands with me still in his arms, careful not to jostle me. “But if I puke on you when I’m thrown over the fire…it’s on you.”
His eyes laugh down at me as he turns to walk toward our kradi, and I grin back at him.
Somehow, getting abducted by aliens led to everything I’ve secretly always wanted but never dreamed I could have. Agron may not be for everyone, but with my warrior’s arms wrapped around me, I wouldn’t be anywhere else.
