When he was ready, he went to cover Pete’s body, only to be brought up short by bright blue eyes glaring at him.
“You stopped,” Pete accused.
Gabriel knew his lover was wanting badly, and he would give it to him, after he took a small advantage of the situation.
“Get tested with me so we don’t have to stop for condoms anymore,” he said.
Pete’s eyes widened and a smile spread across his face. Pete’s cock lengthened even more, bobbing as if giving its approval. “Okay,” Pete said.
Gabriel couldn’t wait a moment longer his body needing the connection to the man he had fallen in love with.
He pressed the blunt head of his cock against Pete’s opening. “Push out, lovely,” he ordered.
The moment he felt Pete obey, he thrust inside. Pete cried out and pre-cum pooled on the concave of his rippling belly.
“You okay, lovely?” he asked.
“Push it all the way in, Gabriel. I need.” Pete’s blunt fingernails scratched down Gabriel’s chest, the slight pain turning him on even more.
Gabriel thrust deeper earning him more scratches and spine tingling, tiny muscles pulsating around his dick. Like the flipping of a light switch, Gabriel’s body demanded that his lover submit.
Lifting up Pete’s hips, Gabriel powered his cock into Pete’s tight, welcoming hole, making sure that he hit that tiny bundle of nerves every time. Sweat dampened his skin as he rode his lover’s ass into bliss.
Pete took his hand off Gabriel’s shoulder and reached down to grab his dick. Gabriel wasn’t having any of that. “Pinch your nipples,” he ordered.
Their eyes met and as Gabriel continued to thrust, Pete reached up and started pinching and twisting his pretty brown nipples. Leaning down, Gabriel bit down on the spot where Pete’s neck met his shoulder, and then started sucking on it.
Beneath him Pete cried out and his hips humped up to meet Gabriel’s every thrust. Muscles clamped down on Gabriel’s cock and with a cry that was music to his ears, Gabriel could feel wetness coating the small space between their bellies.
Gabriel couldn’t hold back his orgasm anymore. Painfully his balls pulled up and his load shot out, only to be stopped by the condom. As his cum continued to fill the latex, he vowed to get them to a clinic as fast as possible.
Gabriel released the suction he had on Pete’s neck and taking his time, he placed slow wet kisses over his skin until he reached Pete’s earlobe. Gabriel took a few moments to enjoy sucking on the lobe, the caveman in him loving it when Pete shivered. “Gabriel, ah,” Pete sighed. “You’re giving me goose bumps.”
Regretfully Gabriel knew he had to pull out. Holding the top of the condom, he left his lover’s body.
Pete put a hand on the side of his face, stopping him from moving any further away. “After the tests come back clean, we aren’t stopping,” Pete said.
Gabriel smiled. “You can put a guarantee on that, lovely.”

Two weeks later
Pete was just finishing up for the day when his phone beeped indicating he had a text message. Looking at the screen he read, “The team wants to meet at the hotel tonight at seven. Would you like to go, pretty Pete?”
Pete had to smile. All his life he had been told he was ugly, spineless and worthless. And now a gorgeous man like his Gabriel truly thought he was attractive. With a few presses of the buttons on his phone he texted back, “Love to,” with a pair of cartoon lips at the end. Seconds later a smiley face and a heart was Gabriel’s reply.
Turning back to his cleaning before Gabriel got home, Pete knew that tonight would be the perfect opportunity to talk to Cade, Shane and Damian about the big surprise he was planning for Gabriel.

Pete sat back into the curl of Gabriel’s arm enjoying his after dinner rum and coke. The hotel dining room was almost full and the adjacent dance floor was starting to fill up. Glancing around the table, he had to wonder how such a bunch of handsome talented men found their way to a small town in the upper Midwest. Then he looked at the uber-alpha Cade and knew the answer.
He had managed to discuss his big surprise with Cade and Shane. So he only had Damian left and he could talk to him anytime.
“What’s with the tattoos on all your fingers?” Gabriel asked.
Pete looked and now saw that every man had a ring tattooed on their left hand ring finger. Bret had a gold ring on his also, but you could see the edges of the tattoo underneath.
“I guess it started with us,” Bret said. “Cade gave me this ring to seal our commitment to each other. But because of his job, he couldn’t wear a ring. So we decided to get tattoos because they’re forever, like us.” Cade pulled Bret closer and kissed the side of his head.
“How bad did it hurt?” Pete asked. Now that he heard about it, he thought it was a great idea and he wished Gabriel would want to have commitment tattoos with him.
“It wasn’t too bad,” Bret said. “When we have to have them touched up, I might get something else somewhere.”
“You are?” One of Cade’s dark eyebrows was raised as he looked at his lover.
“Yep.” Bret’s face held such a mischievous look, that everyone on the table knew he was up to something.
“Bret and I were discussing it the other day, and I thought I would get another piercing.” Pip raised a hand to the diamond sparkling in his ear.
“Are you going to get the other ear pierced, sweets?” Jack asked.
“Huh! He wants to get a ring put in behind his balls.” Bret’s burst out.
The whole table looked at sweet little Pip in shock. His cheeks flushed red, but the look on his face told everyone he was going to do it.
Jack lifted Pip’s hand and made a show of looking at the tattoo that had replaced the original gold ring Jack had given him. “You know, sweets. I think your tattoo is looking a little rough around the edges. We might have to go in this week and have it touched up.”
The whole table erupted in laughter.
Pete turned to Gabriel and kissed the corner of his mouth. “I’ll be right back. I need to use the restroom.”
“Need me to come with you and help?” Gabriel raised his black eyebrows up a few times comically.
Pete laughed at his antics. “No, it’ll just take a few minutes.” With that he headed to the bathroom that was down a hall off the dance floor.
After he washed his hands after finishing his business, he left the bathroom only to be slammed against the wall of the hallway and a forearm was pressed tightly against his throat.
Struggling to breathe and pushing against the arm, Pete looked up into the hate-filled eyes of his cousin Howard.
Chapter Nine
“Hello, cousin.” Howard’s rotten teeth made the breath hitting Pete’s face so putrid, Pete’s eyes watered.
“What do you want?” Pete managed to get the question out past the arm that was slowly putting more pressure on his throat. From past experience, this was one of Howard’s favorite ways to torture Pete.
“I just wanted to make sure you understood that you will stay away from the house and land, even though your dad’s dead. My dad and I are in charge of things now, and if you come anywhere near there or decide to do something stupid like call the cops, you will disappear just like your mom did.”
The pressure on Pete’s throat pressed harder and Pete could feel his eyes starting to bulge as he struggled to get any air he could. He knew if he made any move to defend himself, he would end up in a bloody mess out back somewhere.
“One more thing.” Howard continued. “I have eyes and ears everywhere.”
Over Howard’s shoulder Pete saw Lee Heartland, a county cop, watching Howard choke Pete. Smiling he turned walked to the end of the hall and disappeared out the emergency exit door.
“What the hell?” Shane’s voice rang out from the doorway to the dance floor.
Howard’s bulk was suddenly lifted in the air and crashed into the wall acr
oss from Pete. Before Pete’s boneless body could slip to the floor, while he struggled to take refreshing air into his parched lungs, Gabriel was there, pulling him into his strong safe arms.
Pete watched as Shane picked up Howard by the neck and put his face inches away from Howard’s terrified face. “You stay away from Pete. If I find out you’re anywhere near him, I will cut you to pieces.”
As a wet spot appeared on the front of Howard’s pants, Shane walked to the emergency door, opened it and threw Howard out. Shutting the door, Shane turned toward them, wiping his hands together.
“The trash is taken out, now let’s go have a drink,” he said.
From the doorway to the dance floor, Treb said, “Well done, Commander.”
Both men left while Gabriel continued to hold Pete tight. He was glad because he couldn’t stop his body from shaking and he was having difficulty swallowing.
“Let’s go home,” Gabriel said.
Pete nodded his head in agreement. All he wanted was to be with Gabriel.
Gabriel took a step back, taking Pete’s hand. Pete looked into Gabriel’s troubled face.
“I love you,” he said. Okay, it came out in a rough croak. But he had to say it.
Gabriel didn’t say anything, he just turned and it was all Pete could do to keep up with his long strides through the hotel and out to his truck. All the way home the truck was like a silent tomb and Pete was starting to worry. Once they got home, Pete’s hand was again captured and Gabriel didn’t stop until they were up the steps and into their bedroom. There, still not saying a word, Gabriel stripped off both their clothes and swept Pete up into his arms and laid him on the bed.
Pete watched Gabriel disappear into the adjacent bathroom before coming back with a washcloth and a glass of water. Gratefully Pete sat up and took the cool glass and the two pills that were held out in the palm of Gabriel’s hand. The slide of the water down his burning parched throat felt like a tiny slice of heaven.
Gabriel climbed into the bed and pulled Pete back snuggling him against his warm wide chest. After arranging the cold damp washcloth around his neck, Gabriel enclosed Pete in the muscled cage of his arms.
“Do these encounters with your cousin happen a lot, pretty Pete?” Gabriel’s tone was very serious and too calm for Pete’s comfort.
“They use too, not so much anymore.” Pete sure wished he knew what was going on.
“Do you want to tell me what he wanted?”
“I really don’t know,” Pete answered his voice like gravel. “He kept talking about the house and the land I grew up on. That he and my uncle are now taking over. My dad and those two have been dealing drugs out of there for years. Maybe that’s what he’s talking about although my cousin has some wild theories.”
“I think it’s time to call in the sheriff,” Gabriel stated.
“I need to talk to my cousin first.” Pete tipped his head and looked up at Gabriel. “They have some pretty high connections.”
“But Cade and the team have a few connections too,” Gabriel responded.
“Please, Gabriel, I need a little time to figure out what’s going on and I have to talk to my cousin,” Pete pleaded.
Gabriel frowned and time stretched as he looked deeply into Pete’s eyes. “I’ll give you a week and then we’re going to Cade and calling the Sheriff in,” he finally said.
Pete sighed in relief and settled back into Gabriel’s warm embrace. His eyes were growing heavy when Gabriel spoke again. “I love you, Pete. I want to make a forever commitment with you. I want our love to be so deep it glues us together permanently. If you accept me as your partner, friend and lover, I’d like to build our dream house and fill it with children and pets, creating our own home together.”
Tears rained down his cheeks as Pete turned and put his arms around Gabriel’s neck, hugging him tight. His heart was overflowing with love for this wild handsome man.
Pete leaned back, so he could see into Gabriel’s beautiful green eyes. “I love you too, and I would love to build a life with you.”
“I like the idea of permanent ring tattoos, pretty Pete,” Gabriel said.
Pete’s heart lurched. Right before his eyes, all those far away dreams that kept him going through all of those horrible times, were coming true.
“I would love to have your ring put on my finger, forever.” His voice was now a mere raspy whisper.
Gabriel pulled Pete around so he was again leaning back against him, his arms around him. Together they half lay, half sat against the pillows, each thinking.
“I’ll call the tattoo place the guys used tomorrow morning, and try to make an appointment for right away the next day,” Gabriel said.
“Sounds good,” Pete answered. Little did Gabriel know that by mid-morning, hopefully right after their tattoos, they would be up in the air heading toward the big surprise Pete had for him.
“You know what?” Gabriel asked.
“What.”
“I was just thinking about that lady with those puppies I told you I helped during the fire rescue.”
“What about them?” Pete thought his heart was going to jump out of his chest it was beating so hard.
“Maybe we could get one of those types of dogs someday,” Gabriel said.
“I don’t see why not,” Pete responded. Pete quickly cleared his mind of everything. Just in case Gabriel was suddenly able to read it.

Pete sat in the passenger seat of the truck admiring the connecting chain-links tattooed around his finger. Looking over at Gabriel’s hand on the top of the steering wheel, Pete felt the burst of excitement deep in his belly at seeing the matching symbol of their permanent commitment tattooed there.
Pete drew a deep breath of air into his lungs, preparing to set his plan into motion.
“Damian asked me if I would fly some papers over to California for Cade today. Something the authorities need concerning the fire rescue mission.” Pete desperately hoped Gabriel was buying this crock of bull. “Would you like to come along?”
“Sure, that would be fun,” Gabriel answered. “The team actually has a free day today.”
“Great,” Pete said.

Gabriel sat in the co-pilot seat of the largest of Damian’s planes, thinking how incredible the day had been already. He had woken up to Pete’s pouty lips wrapped around his dick, head bobbing as he not only blew Gabriel’s mind, but forced him to blow his load right into his talented mouth.
When Gabriel came back down to earth, he pounced on Pete and within minutes his lube-coated cock was so far up Pete’s ass he hoped it would never come out again. Of course his pretty Pete had ideas of his own and started using his powerful little ass muscles to squeeze Gabriel’s dick until it was Gabriel who was groaning and coming a second time.
Gabriel responded by pulling his now-softened dick out and scooting to the bottom of the bed until he sucked Pete’s hard dripping prick into his mouth, swallowing the head over and over until Pete was the one moaning. Salty, slightly bitter cum filled Gabriel’s mouth, which he swallowed most of it before climbing back up over Pete. He made sure to drag his dick along Pete’s body the whole way, and when he reached Pete’s lips he shared some of the bounty of Pete’s cock.
“Why are you sitting there stroking your cock?” Pete interrupted Gabriel’s musings.
“I was thinking about the way you woke me up this morning,” He answered.
“Well, stop that, it’s hard flying a plane with a hard-on.”
“You could put it on auto-pilot and we could go join the mile-high club,” Gabriel tempted.
“I would love to, but it’s not safe with the crosswinds the mountains stir up.”
Gabriel stopped squeezing his cock. He would never do anything to jeopardize Pete’s safety.
“I’m sorry, Pete. I guess I didn’t think,” he said.
Pete looked at him and reached over, linking their fingers together. “Don’t apologize, you di
dn’t know. I love you.”
Just like that Gabriel felt his happiness bubble to the surface again. “I love you too, my lovely.”
Gabriel smiled as he looked at what the day had also produced. The slightly red new tattoo on Pete’s finger said he now was Gabriel’s. Gabriel loved that and suddenly realized he better call his mother and let her know he was now as far as he was concerned, hitched.
As Pete started going through the process of landing the plane at the airport below them, Gabriel observed that the firefighters had somehow managed to save most of the area. At one point he could see that the fire burned a path right up to the edge of the county airport they were landing at.
Fifteen minutes later Gabriel was stretching his legs as he walked around the nose of the plane. Looking at his pretty Pete, he saw he didn’t have a file or any papers in his hand that they were supposed to be delivering.
Pete also had a funny look on his face. Gabriel went to Pete’s side, ready to remind him to bring the papers, when he saw that Pete was now looking at something behind him and had a huge smile covering his face.
Gabriel looked over his shoulder to where Pete was smiling and saw a man and a woman standing on the edge of the tarmac. He knew they couldn’t be Pete’s parents, so now Gabriel was even more confused. Then he saw the woman had a cane in one hand and a walking cast on her ankle and foot.
“Pete, what’s going on?” he asked.
Pete took his hand, urging him forward. “Come on, there’s someone who wants to talk to you.”
Gabriel looked into Pete’s blue eyes that were sparkling with happiness and relaxed. A happy pretty Pete was a happy Gabriel.
As they neared the couple the woman clapped her hands together and laughed. “Oh, you are a handsome one when you aren’t covered in smoke,” she called out.
Gabriel was astonished. Before him was Karen, the lady who he had helped during the fire evacuation rescue.
Gabriel took both of Karen’s outstretched hands into his. “It’s good to see you’re okay,” he said.
