Before she could move, he was on her.

Spreading her thighs wide, he stabbed his tongue into her like a male starved to the breaking point. Her hips bucked against him in a silent plea for more, but he ignored her clit as he fucked her with his tongue. Aeron and Jasyn moved onto the bed, each of them bending down to suck on her hard nipples as Braden lapped at her pussy. Her back arched off the bed as they worked in tandem, and she moaned and writhed against them.

She wrapped her hand around Aeron’s cock, and he snarled before taking her mouth in a brutal kiss. Blindly, she stroked her other hand over Jasyn’s body, rubbing the rings on her fingers over his heated skin. He continued to suck on her nipple while he held one of her legs up, leaving her wide open for Braden’s sensual assault. As she bit down on Aeron’s lip, she reached out to all three of the brothers through their connection.

  “I cannot take much more.”

“You can and you will,” Aeron countered.

“Braden has been very patient waiting for his chance to taste you,” Jasyn said. “Give it to him. Clench your tight pussy on his tongue, little one.”

“I want to hear you scream my name while you come for me,” Braden growled. “Feed me, mate. Give me more of your sweet nectar.”

Finally, he moved his mouth up to her clit and sucked hard at the same time he shoved two fingers into her tight pussy. She felt the familiar pressure coiling in her belly as he thrust his fingers hard and deep. When he lashed his tongue against her clit, she exploded, the pleasure surging through her in rough waves that made her body shake uncontrollably. The intensity of her release stole her breath, so she chanted Braden’s name over and over again in her mind instead of screaming it out loud.

When the tremors faded, she gasped for breath as her body went limp. Even though they had given her more pleasure than she had ever experienced before, she felt an ache in her heart knowing that she hadn’t given the same to them. She wanted them to let go of their control, to push them until they found their pleasure.

If she couldn’t have them inside her, she wanted to feel their hot release on her skin. It wasn’t something she’d thought about before, but now that she’d seen the erotic image flicker in Aeron’s mind, she wanted it. She was the one who wanted to give in to temptation, while they were doing what was honorable and waiting to claim her. Still, she didn’t want them to leave her bedchamber unsatisfied tonight and was willing to beg them to give her what she wanted.

All three males froze, their big bodies going completely still.

“Our princess does not beg,” Aeron growled.

“Anything you need or want, we will provide,” Jasyn swore, repeating the words his brother had spoken earlier. “We cannot risk you carrying our scent if we fill your womb with our seed, but we can give you this.”

“Will she carry our scent if we come on her?” Aeron asked as he stroked his own cock. “Fuck it. If this is what she wants, we will risk it.”

Eyes glowing bright with hunger, Braden jerked his leather pants open as he sat back. His large cock sprung free already leaking copious amounts of pre-cum, and he used the silky fluid to move his hand over his thick shaft in quick, hard strokes.

“Is this what you want, Lia?” Braden hissed between his clenched teeth. “To watch us stroke ourselves until we come for you?”

Having them read her thoughts was definitely going to take some getting used to, though in this instance, she was grateful they’d heard her wicked thoughts. She sat up, watching with fascination as all three of them stroked themselves harder and faster than she would have ever handled their sensitive flesh. Empowered by her newfound sexual freedom, she surprised them all when she reached out and slapped Jasyn and Aeron’s hands away from their cocks.

“Mine,” she growled as she wrapped her smaller hands around them.

“All yours,” Jasyn agreed as he reached out and cupped her breast, rubbing his thumb over her nipple.

Without warning, she leaned forward and took the head of Braden’s cock into her mouth. She had to taste him. It was an atavistic need that she couldn’t deny. He let out a feral snarl but didn’t pull away. She loved the feel of him in her mouth, the taste of him on her tongue. She wanted to take him deeper, but she was afraid she would hurt him with her fangs. Lashing at the ridges beneath the head of his cock, she used her tongue and hands to push them all closer to the edge.

“I am going to come,” Braden warned. “Pull back, mate.”

A hand gripped her hair, giving her no choice but to release Braden right before he came. He gripped the base of his cock as it swelled and let out a loud growl as he released his seed in hard, hot spurts onto her stomach. Aeron was next, his cum jetting out to mix with his brothers as he snarled her name.

Before Jasyn could deny her, she wrapped her lips around the head of his cock as he came. She moaned as his release shot down her throat, but she was jerked away before she could drink all of him down. Licking her lips, she hummed softly and watched as the rest of his seed spilled onto her stomach.

“Naughty little mate,” Jasyn panted as he rubbed his thumb over her lower lip.

“I wanted to taste you. I did not expect your essence to be so sweet.”

Jasyn groaned before covering her mouth with his. “You honor me, but we cannot risk you carrying my scent before we officially claim you.”

“You are right,” she said with a sigh. “You have given me a great gift this night.” She ran her hands over her body to rub their pearly release into her skin. “I will bathe once I wake, but for now, I like feeling you on me.”

Their possessive growls thrilled her, then three sets of hands helped her with her task. When they were done, Braden placed a soft kiss on her lips. “I wish I could stay, but I will be missed soon.”

“I will miss you, too,” she said with a sleepy smile. “Go. Love you, mate.”

“I love you, Lia.” He kissed her again, then reluctantly moved away.

Jasyn and Aeron gently pushed her back onto the bed, lying down next to her. Aeron raised her hand, stroking the rings on her fingers before nibbling on her fingertips. “Sleep now, princess.”

“Will you stay with me a little longer?”

On her other side, Jasyn wrapped an arm around her, holding her close. “We would stay with you forever if we could. But for now, we remain with you until you fall asleep. Rest, love. And dream of us as we will dream of you.”

Tucked safely between their big bodies, she let out a happy sigh as she closed her eyes.

Forged in friendship and bonded by love, they were her mates…and soon, she would begin her forever with them.

  CHAPTER NINE

Wanting a few more kisses from Jasyn and Aeron before they left, Liandra fought off sleep and reached for them. When her hand met nothing but empty space, she opened her eyes to look around. She was sure only a moment had passed, but they were no longer next to her.

Stranger yet, she discovered that she wasn’t even in her bedchamber anymore.

Blinking in disbelief, she found herself lying on top of a large sand dune, surrounded by nothing but sand, sky, and sea. Sitting up, she automatically rubbed her hands together before she realized that none of the sand was sticking to her skin. She looked around and saw the palace lit up in the distance, but she had no idea how she had gotten outside the city walls.

Perhaps this was all a dream.

That was the only explanation that made sense considering she also felt refreshed and completely clean as though she had just spent the last hour soaking in the healing pool in her private bathing chamber.

As she got to her feet, she was grateful that she was no longer naked. Someone had dressed her in a stunning red gown that looked like it had been brushed with gold stardust, then the shimmer changed to silver and bronze as she moved. The style was like nothing she had ever worn before, with a plunging neckline that almost reached her navel. Since she felt the air on her back, she figured the back of the dress also left a good
portion of her skin on display.

The skirt flowed loose around her legs, and a gold, silver, and bronze belt crisscrossed around her waist. Upon closer inspection, she saw that the belt was actually made of tiny dragons that had been linked together. She smiled when she realized that the belt matched the bracelet and rings her males had given her earlier and silently thanked whoever had given her such a beautiful gift.

  “You are most welcome.”

The sound of the lyrical voice had her turning, then she stared in awe at the female standing before her. The Goddess of the Moons needed no introduction. She was instantly recognizable, although Liandra had never personally met her before. Her pale skin shimmered like brilliant crystals, reflecting the lavender moonbeams as if the light was emanating from her body. Long curls cascaded down her back, falling to her tiny waist in a glittering mass of liquid silver, and she wore a pale purple dress that matched her glowing lavender eyes that swirled hypnotically.

  She was beauty personified.

The Goddess’ perfect lips curved into a warm smile. “You know who I am.”

“Aye, I do, Goddess. It is a great honor to meet you.”

“Please, call me Lunaria. Come, walk with me.” Without waiting, the Goddess began moving down the sand dune. “It feels like ages since I strolled by the sea in the moonlight.”

Liandra was surprisingly charmed when she saw that the Goddess’ feet were also bare, then her mouth fell open when she realized those feet weren’t touching the ground. The reason why became obvious when she stumbled forward a few steps and her own legs sank into the sugary sand. Instantly, she was lifted so she was also hovering over the sand, and delighted laughter bubbled out before she could censor herself.

“I appreciate the lift. Magic truly is wonderful.”

Lunaria’s own musical laughter rang out. “Aye, indeed, it is.”

Once they had floated down to the shore, their feet touched down on the spongy wet sand that was firm enough to walk on. Liandra couldn’t help but glance back at the palace again. She hoped that Jasyn and Aeron had already left her bedchamber before she had been transported outside. Otherwise, they would be tearing the palace apart looking for her.

“Two of your mates are back in their own bedchambers sleeping peacefully, while the third is patrolling the outer wall and checking on the other warriors on guard.”

Liandra felt her heart warm at hearing someone else call the Mazer brothers her mates. It was something she had dreamed of for so long, and now that it was finally on the cusp of coming true, she was even more anxious to secure their future together.

“I am not quite sure how to explain this to them.” A horrifying thought entered her mind. “Will they remember tonight? I mean, will they think they were sleeping this whole time, or will they—”

“Do not fear, they will remember their time with you before I transported them back to their quarters.” She sighed as she stared out at the sea. “There is nothing worse than not being able to be with the ones you love.”

The Goddess’ voice was filled with such sorrow it brought tears to Liandra’s eyes. She had heard that some sort of curse kept the Goddess of the Moon from being with her mate, the God of the Sun. They only had a few moments together when the night gave way day, and again when the sun began to set, and the moons rose to prominence in the night sky.

“Aye, a curse is an accurate description for it. Every moment without Silas feels like an eternity, and yet every heartbeat I get to spend with him fills me with enough love and happiness to make all the pain worthwhile.”

As they strolled down the beach, Liandra couldn’t help but think about her own separation from Braden, Jasyn, and Aeron. She had missed them since they had stopped being her guards, and even though they were still in the palace, sometimes they felt as far away from her as the stars in the night sky. It was a million times worse for Lunaria and Silas, and each time they were forced to part must be sheer agony. It was absolutely terrifying that some being or force had the ability to impose such a cruel magical separation on the gods.

“I am sorry you must suffer without him at all,” she said softly.

The Goddess smiled sadly before her expression turned serious as she came to a stop. “Dawn approaches, and we do not have long, so I will get to the point. Since I know you understand a little of what I feel, I wonder why you are still hesitating when you have the chance to be with the males you love.”

“We have declared ourselves to one another this very night. I love them and want to be with them more than anything in this world or beyond.”

“I know your heart belongs to your mates, but you still question whether or not duty will keep you from them.” Lunaria shook her head and sighed. “You mortals are so confusing. You have so little time, and every moment is precious, yet you waste so much of it fighting yourselves and worrying about the wrong things. It is baffling that so few of you believe in fated mates when you have witnessed the power of that connection for yourselves.”

Excitement surged through her blood. “Are you saying Braden, Jasyn, and Aeron are my true mates?”

“Would it change how you feel about them if I told you they were? And what if you were told they were not your true mates? Would that make you stop loving them?”

“Nay!” Liandra choked down the sob that wanted to tear from her throat. “Nothing could make me stop loving them. I cannot live without them.”

“Forgive me, I did not mean to upset you. That is not why I brought you here.” Lunaria paused for a long moment before speaking again. “We have tried not to interfere with your lives unless it is absolutely necessary, maintaining boundaries to ensure it remains so. I cannot express just how difficult that is to do when my own fate is tied so closely to yours. Waiting has been…extremely frustrating.”

“How is your fate tied to mine?”

The Goddess opened her mouth, then shut it again and sighed a little. “I have already said too much.”

On the contrary, Liandra thought she had barely said anything at all. “If you tell me what you need me to do, I will try my best to aid you.”

“I wish it were that simple. If I told you what I needed you to do, I would risk interfering with the very essence of your free will.” She paused, then spoke carefully. “There can be unforeseen effects that may arise from our involvement. The smallest adjustments can lead to great change, or it could have catastrophic consequences. That is the cost of wielding powerful magic that is capable of altering worlds.”

Those ominous words made Liandra shiver. She knew there was little chance that Lunaria would actually share the details with her, but the weight of experience she heard in the warning was too chilling to ignore. Obviously, there were things the Goddess wanted to tell her, but she would have to figure out another way to get the answers she needed.

Trying to figure out the complexities of conversing with one of the gods was surreal. In fact, the whole night felt like some sort of strange dream. This was definitely not the way she thought she would be spending the first few hours of her birthday, but it felt like she was exactly where she was supposed to be. A profound sense of purpose settled over her as she turned to stare out at the sea.

Perhaps her birthday—or her actual birth—was the key to it all. “Allie told me that you can only gift true mates female younglings.”

  “Aye, that is so.”

The satisfaction in the Goddess’ voice was easy to hear, and that confirmation gave her a little thrill. “But there are Arcadian mates who have had female youngling who have not been given magic like my brothers and Allie, or Raven and her mates.”

“They were not given magic. They were able to unlock their gifts and merge with their dragon spirits hidden within themselves. There is a difference.”

She turned to face the Goddess. “So, something is stopping my mother and fathers from connecting with their dragon spirits?”

“Like most of your race, your fathers follow traditions that do not acc
ount for the eons before the wars when all Arcadians embraced their dragon spirits. When Dragon Warriors explored the stars and used their magic for the benefit of their people and not just for battle.”

“If you tell everyone that finding their fated mate is the only way to regain their dragon spirits, they would listen to you.”

The Goddess shook her head, making her silver curls dance in the soft breeze. “If I told them the truth, they would listen because of who I am to them, but they cannot believe in their hearts until they are truly ready to understand. All of this has been easier for the human females to accept after they go through the conversion. Humans seem to be fascinated with the concepts of mating and magic since neither seems to exist on Earth. You already know all you need to know. You just have to be willing to open yourself up to the possibilities.”

Clarity struck like a lightning bolt.

Since most Arcadians didn’t believe in the legends of a time long past, they had been continuing a cycle of mistakes that stopped them from regaining a former glory none of them remembered. She’s heard the stories from her brothers and Allie, but she hadn’t truly understood any of it…until now. The traditions she had been worried about breaking didn’t matter, not if bonding with her mates was the only way to become the Dragon Warrior she was meant to be.

The Goddess needed Liandra to accept the Mazer brothers as her mates without fear or hesitation, and not just for their own happiness. They needed to prove that they were all destined to find the perfect mate who would complete them body, heart, and soul. She had found that with Braden, Jasyn, and Aeron. She’d loved them her entire life, but now, she believed they had always been fated to be hers.

She knew it in her heart, felt her soul calling out to theirs.

“You need me to prove that human females are not the only ones who can bring about change in Arcadia. That we have had the ability to merge with our dragon spirits all along, but only if we follow our hearts.”

Lunaria’s smile was as warm as sunlight. “You finally understand.”
