“I’ve always been ready for you,” she replied. He kissed her deeply as he entered her. She moaned into his mouth, enjoying the feeling of him filling her up. He felt amazing. She bucked her hips against him, willing him to go faster. He threw himself against her in a passionate rhythm. She threw her head back as their lips broke apart in the passionate friction.
Together, they reached that sacred place. As their muscles tightened against one another, they groaned in pleasure as they finished together. They collapsed on the torn-apart table, dishes knocked to the ground. He kissed her forehead, and they laid together.
Perfect. She closed her eyes. Everything was perfect.
Epilogue: Happy Ever After - Ginger
Ginger smiled as she watched Logan cradle Charlotte. He’d insisted on buying a house on the outskirts of the city for all of them. They needed a proper home with a yard for Charlotte to grow up in, he argued. Especially if she ended up being a Shifter, then she would need the room to run around in the dark of night away from the prying eyes of the neighbors.
The gossip rags had a field day when they announced their elopement. Secret love child, passionate affair, the reporters went mad over the story. Natalia had been served a pretty stack of papers to keep her distance.
Ginger continued to work with Logan at the office, but she did so on a part-time basis to spend more time with Charlotte. They took Charlotte on a family day every Sunday together. His brothers couldn’t believe that someone had managed to tame the youngest Venture brother. But she wasn’t concerned about that anymore.
They were all outside underneath their shaded veranda. Logan rocked Charlotte back and forth in his powerful arms as Ginger prepared their lemonade for an afternoon snack. It was fun to be a family together. They were happy. She smiled as his eyes met hers. They were full of love and promise, of safety and forever. She grinned and poured two tall glasses of lemonade over ice.
“For you, my handsome husband,” she said. He accepted it with a grateful hand, leaning Charlotte against him in his seated pose so that she wasn’t unsupported.
“You’ve been worth everything,” he told her. They kissed. Charlotte giggled happily.
Together.
Forever.
