Roc grabbed the front end of the helicopter, metal screeched as he dug his claws in. At the same time, the terrified soldier pulled out a knife and pressed the tip into Rea’s chest.

“Roc, no!” Livie screamed. He growled, but moved away. The other men saw their chance and jumped inside. The pilot moved into place and started the engine.

“Rea!” Livie yelled. She had to wake up . . .

Lionel made a quick grab for her. Livie saw the move and jerked away, sending out a tiny brush of wind at the same time.

He slammed up against the side panel. His sword fell with the impact. Rage twisted his features. “I will have you all. Soon.”

One of his men pulled him inside.

Livie watched Rea’s pale and bloodied face until she could no longer see her as they flew away.

Stunned, she fell to her knees. She was gone. Just gone.

“Livie.” Roc pulled her up into his arms. “We’ll get her back, baby. We’ll get her back.”

  Chapter Thirty-Two

Cam snapped his phone shut. “They’ve moved her again. She was walking on her own and didn’t appear injured the last time she was seen.”

Livie slumped against Roc. She’d reminded herself over and over again that The Order wanted Rea alive. Her Element might not be active now, but it would be. They wouldn’t kill her. Her logic hadn’t made a dent in her fear.

  Thankyouthankyouthankyou.

The bastard had been bluffing after all. He wanted all of them.

All of them. All four Elements.

The son of a bitch either knew where their lost sister was or, worse, he already had her.

Roc stroked her back. “We’ll find them both,” he promised.

She nodded. They had to. Livie couldn’t accept any other alternative. The cold knot that formed in her chest before every one of Cam’s updates unraveled.

“Any idea where they might be taking her this time?” Sela asked.

Cam’s network of informants had been busy. So had The Order. They’d moved Rea five times in the last five days. Not long enough in any one place to rescue her.

“No.” Cam slapped his phone onto the desk. It broke into tiny pieces. Livie bit her lip at his muffled curse. She’d lost count of how many phones he’d gone through in the last couple of days. Something had his control in shreds.

Livie pushed aside her fear once more. It was something she was used to doing and could finally do again. She’d regained the part of herself that had been lost these last few weeks.

Right now Rea was alive. That was the important thing. She was alive and The Order clearly wanted her that way.

  He wanted all four elements.

Livie allowed that thought to soothe her. For whatever reason, The Order hadn’t hurt her when they’d held her captive. And they were moving fast. Staying on the run. The werewolves had them running. They didn’t have time for torture sessions. She concentrated on that. She willed it to be true. Anything else and . . . no.

She refused to let the emotions overwhelm her. Logic said they were on the run and scared. Rea had been spotted unconscious several times. They were using the tranquilizers on her. Rea might be caught, but she wasn’t being harmed right now.

He wanted her Elemental power. And while it might not be active yet, it would be soon. Cam said once it started, the powers would spark one after another.

If he damaged Rea, he could damage her power.

For now, Rea wasn’t in imminent danger.

Livie could live with that until they got her back. As long as they got her back soon.

Roc stood. He pulled Livie up with him. “Keep us posted. We’re going home.”

Anticipation tightened her belly. She knew that low tone. It had become more common than not lately.

Roc claimed that all werewolves mated with such frequency after they cemented the mate-bond. Livie laughed and called him sex-starved. Roc pushed her up against a wall and proved, well, both their points.

The moment they were inside the front door, Roc began pulling off his shirt.

“Strip,” he said, golden sparkles lighting his eyes.

Livie danced just out of his reach.

  “You first.”

He shredded his clothes in two seconds.

  “Your turn.”

Livie eyed his thick cock, the tip already wet, pointing up towards his belly. She licked her lips and he shuddered.

“You’re going to pay for that.”

“What?” She batted her eyes innocently. He didn’t buy it.

“No more teasing. Take your clothes off. Now.”

He stalked her down the hall. She stayed two steps ahead of him.

  “Or what?” She taunted.

  “I’ll take them off you.”

  “Promise?”

  His face stilled. “Always.”

Her heart beat faster at his gruff voice. The way this man got to her. She loved it. She loved him.

  “I love you.”

He sighed deeply. He didn’t get weak in the knees anymore when she said it. But it still affected him physically no matter how many times she told him.

“I love you too, mate.” His fangs grew longer and sharp claws tipped his fingers. “Now. Take. Your. Clothes. off.”

  “No.”

He pounced. She didn’t even try to escape. She didn’t ever want to escape him. No matter which form he took.

She pressed her head into his neck, inhaling his heated scent.

“Someone’s being naughty. Looks like I’ll have to get out my handcuffs.”

Livie moaned as moisture dampened her panties.

  Roc laughed.
